Chapter 35: Le Hibou Noir Part 2(Adrien's POV)
Adrien scowls, he had thought he had told Le Hibou to not get himself hurt. But the mock superhero just had to gallivant as a hero again and again.
"Le Hibou I thought I told you to stop endangering yourself!" He shouts at the owl superhero. Adrein did not want to deal with this type of stuff. He's been getting behind in piano, because of Akuma attacks, and now because of Le Hibou.
"I wasn't in any danger! I could've handled stopping that dog from attacking that young lady myself."
"No you couldn't! You are bleeding from your arm where the dog bit you!" exclaims Adrien, frustrated. If he wasn't home soon, father would make him spend hours on the piano to catch up to Keith, who was always practicing because what can you do when you have a injured foot.
At least the doctors said it would only be four more days until it healed, so then Keith can start hanging out with him outside the mansion and do more than piano practice.
"I'll be fine," Le Hibou replies, wincing a bit.
Adrien sighs, "Look I know you say you're one of us, but you have to be careful. Your suit isn't made like ours, there's tears, and if you were thrown off a high building your suit wouldn't be able to protect you, same if the akuma flung you and you landed on the pavement!"
"I will be fine. I will be careful. Because I am one of you!" Le Hibou huffs stubbornly, refusing to give in.
Adrien shakes his head, this is the fifth time he's had to save Le Hibou in a matter of days. First, saving a little girl from a car, Le Hibou had pushed the girl out of the way, luckily he saw the whole thing and was able to stop the car with his hands from hitting the owl superhero.
Then it was saving him from another group of robbers, who Le Hibou thought would be easy to take out. More like fighting alongside him, but still. Luckily he and Honeybee were on patrol. Still no sign of Marmora, which worried him.
Then there was Le Hibou fighting against the akuma Climatique, who wanted perfect weather all the time so nothing was ruined, thus giving the akuma power over the weather. Honeybee and Adrien helped him, but mostly they had to save him from Climatique's power of weather. And it didn't help that afterwards they had to thaw him from the ice after Adrein couldn't stop Climatique's ice ray from hitting him.
So, yeah. Le Hibou did not have a good track record of taking care of himself in a fight. Maybe it is time to visit this mysterious Master Fu Plagg keeps talking about.
"I'm giving you one more chance to prove you are one of us." Adrien tells the owl hero. Hoping that Le Hibou doesn't get hurt.
Le Hibou beams, "I won't let you down Chat Noir."
He just sighs and waves goodbye. But before he goes to Master Fu's place, he decides to see who this Le Hibou is. And then he can brainstorm with Master Fu on what to do about the owl superhero. He wishes Honeybee were with him, but Adrien couldn't contact her this time.
So he goes solo, carefully following Le Hibou.
Le Hibou undoes his mask in a secluded alleyway, Adrein watching from the top of a roof of a building. To his shock, Le Hibou is his school's headmaster, Monsieur Damocles.
He quickly gets off the rooftop, and detransforms making sure no one can see him.
Plagg appears in front of him.
"Plagg take me to this Master Fu you've been talking about. I don't think I can keep this charade with that owl superhero anymore."
Plagg smiles, "I figured that would happen soon. But give me camembert first. I'm exhausted."
Adrien rolls his eyes, same old Plagg. He reaches into his bag, pulling out the round container, containing Plagg's camembert cheese. Opens it and hand a slice to Plagg.
Plagg eats it in one gulp, burping. Adrien makes a face, "Kid you want to be there fast? I don't have time to eat my camembert, to savor it."
"Fine, fine. Just lead me to this Master Fu's place."
From his coat pocket Plagg gave him the direction to this Master Fu. Adrein wonders how the encounter will go. Because Plagg has never mentioned this Master to him before. And it makes him nervous.
Because this Master is so mysterious, Plagg has only mentioned him by name, and nothing else.
When they reach the place, it looks dingy and small. Not a place he would expect a Master to live in.
Plagg leads him inside, since no one seems to be outside in this neighborhood and the drapes are closed. The inside of the house doesn't look as dingy. It looks rather homey. Still Plagg unlocking the door for him to enter, kinda felt like trespassing, even if Plagg knows Master Fu.
Walking down the hallway he sees lots of Chinese Artwork, with various brush styles. Then they come to a screen door. Adrien slides it open and sees a small, old man with a mustache and goatee meditating. He has a red Hawaiian shirt on, with white flowers. The man's eyes open, giving him a look of surprise, and Adrien wonders if the man will be angry with him.
Author's Note: Adrien finally gets to see Master Fu. Yeah! There are only two more parts left to the Le Hibou mini arc. After that I'll be setting up the finale of Miraculous Season 2 which is the finale planned for the Intro Arc of Kwamis and Lions. Voltron's ending in the Intro arc is the Tailing a Comet Episode, so there will be a few chapters before that exploring the training of Allura, Lance and Marinette to get used to their lions.
