A/N:

I owe you one, so here it is. Hahaha!

Anyway, shoo! Enjoy the day!

Chapter Eight

Tsuna tried to concentrate on his music. His head is pounding a little since yesterday. It's like something he doesn't like will happen. That, and he feels irritable to the point that he sounded like he's having this attitude. Well, that's what intuition induced headache does to him.

Sighing, he made his way through the reporters that had been camping outside the academy's gate to get some scoop. Every morning, they'll be there, asking about heroes and mainly All Might who became a teacher. It can't be helped. They're surprised that the Symbol of Peace decided to bestow his heroic wisdom to the young generations. Tsuna was nearing the entrance when a mic got almost shoved on his mouth. He looked to the side to see who the reporter was. A female in formal attire.

"Can you give us some insights about how All Might teaches?" The woman questioned.

He put a hand on the mic to lower it and smiled at the woman (albeit coldly in the reporters' eyes). "Before you ask those questions, try checking your manners first, Miss. You're being rude. Good day."

"Nice one." Sero praised while walking beside him. "That chick had been on it since awhile ago. It's getting annoying."

"I hope she stops then." He shrugged.

"But the way you 'politely' told her off was cool." Jirou pointed out before slowly getting shy. "Not that... You know."

Tsuna smiled for a bit, head throbbing. "I get it. Thanks though."

"You're pretty awesome, Sawada." Sero beamed. "I mean I've seen you do things for the past two days, and you're just so laid back."

"True." Jirou seconded. "Although you can look unapproachable with your own headsets on."

He can't help chuckling. "You can approach me anytime. I don't mind. Just tap me on the shoulder or stand on the side of my table, I'll immediately notice you. The music is just there to keep me company. Although I'm not really the... Conversationalist type."

"We figured." Jirou gave a small amused smile. "You're the type to listen. If that hotheaded classmate of ours can talk to you, we know we can too. Thank you, Sawada."

He waved off a hand as they entered their room. "You can call me Tsuna. I'm not in for formalities these days."

Sero nodded while Jirou blushed a little before he waved them latter and went for his seat. The moment he sat down, he put his arms on the table and cushioned his head with them. He closed his eyes in pain.

"Tsuna?" Caramel eyes peered to see who's calling him. "Are you alright? You're frowning." Midoriya asked him, a little shy but worried.

He gave a small smile of assurance. "I'm fine. Just a headache."

"I have aspirin if you want?" The greenet offered. "We need a cup though, for your water."

"I can swallow it dry." He said, sitting up. "Sorry to bother you, Midoriya."

"It's fine. It's a small favor from all you've done to me." The other smiled before going for his bag. He came back with a white container. "I usually keep it for muscle pains after all the training. Good thing you can use it."

He took the offered container and took two tablets and put them on his mouth.

"You know, you can call me Izuku, Tsuna." Tsuna peered at the greenet as he swallowed the meds. The freckles he didn't notice are showing with how those cheeks slowly go pink in embarrassment. "You've told me to call you Tsuna, it means we're friends, right?"

The brunet smiled as the aspirin started to take action on his head. "If you want me to be your friend."

Green eyes widened. "O-Of course I want you to be my friend. You're nice and you know what to do. Always. And you encourage me to do things. You believe in me too."

"Thank you." He expressed, earning a grin before the greenet went for his seat when Shouta came in with his sleeping bag.

"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei!" His classmates greeted.

"Morning." The hero greeted tiredly before standing in front of the podium and took out some papers. "Hope you're rested from yesterday's battle trial. I took the liberty of looking at your marks and evaluation."

This caused the others to be alarmed.

"Bakugou," Their teacher called out, making the quiet blond perk up. "stop acting like a seven-year-old. You're wasting your talents."

"I know." Katsuki replied softly, making Tsuna snicker a little.

"And you." The brunet put a hand on his lips to hide his smile when Shouta gazed pointed at Midoriya who ducked his head in response. "Are you always planning on destroying your arm, Midoriya? If you keep going 'I can't adjust to my quirk so I have no choice', you'll never get terribly far." The teacher lectured. "I said it before. Don't make me say it a third time. Once you cleared that hurdle, you'll be much more flexible, so I need to see some sweat out of you, Midoriya."

"Yes Sir!" Izuku responded with determination.

"Now let's go to homeroom notices." Shouta redirected. "I'm sorry to have spring this on you all, but," Black eyes surveyed them with this suspenseful pause that made Tsuna titter silently, as the others sweat with anticipation. "we need to pick a class president."

"Finally! Something school-like!" Someone exclaimed before everyone started to raise their hands to voice their wants to become presidents.

Tsuna gave Yaoyorozu a questioning expression when the lady turned to him. "You aren't going for it?"

"He isn't." He jabbed a thumb to Todoroki who was silently beside her. "And besides," He cringed, remembering those thirty years he spent 'leading' and 'governing' the Vongola. "that's a big job. I rather follow this time than lead."

"Hm. Good point." The lady agrees, nodding at his reason. "Although I too want to do it, but I don't think anyone will vote for me."

"You're a model student, Yaoyorozu-san." He recalled his Dad's murmuring that one time he was reviewing who were his students this year. "You'll get pick one way or another."

The lady blinked before smiling at the compliment. "Maybe. Thank you, Sawada."

"Tsuna is fine." He waved off.

"Be quiet!" All noises in the room hushed as they all turned to Iida who shouted with his own hand raised. "This is a task laden with responsibility where you must carry and pull everyone's weight! Just because you'd like to do it, doesn't mean you can!

"It's a holy office that requires the great esteem and trust of those around you! The only truly worthy leader will emerge from a democratic choice reflecting the will of the people. Which is why this must be settled in a vote!"

"He's really being lofty about this, isn't he?! With that proposal?!" Someone among them exclaimed with a laugh.

"It's still too early to have developed any trust in each other." Asui informed.

"And everyone will just vote for themselves!" Kirishima motioned.

"And that's precisely why the person who does manage to earn multiple votes will be very the truly appropriate person for the job, no?! Is that all right, Sensei?!" Iida declared, turning to Shouta who's putting on his sleeping bag.

"As long as you all decide by deadline, anything's fine." Shouta dismissed.

"So how do we do this?" He volunteered, making everyone look at him. "By paper? Write the name of who we vote and pass it in front?"

"You're agreeing on this voting too, Tsuna?" Kirishima queried, astonished.

"Why not?" He asked back, taking a pencil from his inside pocket. "Iida-san made a good point. Being a president will give you a lot of responsibility. Who cares if it's the department of heroics? It will still be the same."

"If Tsuna says so, we do so." Mina nodded, taking her own pencil too. "Paper, right?"

"Y-Yes." Iida nodded, going for his own table.

Everyone did the same.

"Guys?" He called out as he thought of who to vote. "Should I remind you not to vote wisely?"

His classmates chuckled at his joke.

After voting, Tsuna got tasked on reading the votes out loud while Iida wrote the votes. He first counted the papers before looking up and scanned the crowd.

"Who didn't vote? This is only twenty, we're twenty-one in this class." Tsuna questioned.

"Maybe you didn't!" Katsuki countered.

He rolled his eyes. "Katsuki, I voted. I even remember who I wrote, and I know my handwriting. So who didn't vote?"

"I did." Someone from the back raised his hand. Tsuna stepped to the side to see. "I couldn't decide who."

"Pick a random person." He shrugged before nodding. "Go on. Just a piece of paper, Todoroki-san. Just for the heck of it."

Mismatched eyes stared at him before the owner took a piece of paper and wrote something before standing up and going nearer. "Here."

Tsuna took the paper with a beam. "Thank you. Ready, Iida-san?"

"Yes." The teen answered.

In the end, it was Midoriya who got the president seat while Yaoyorozu got the vice-president. He almost tied with Yaoyorozu. Good thing he voted her too. Iida was quite devastated though. It can't be helped. He did want the position but for the sake of those who doesn't want to vote themselves, he gave the proposal.

The morning went on with their morning class. His head was lowly throbbing by then. When lunch came though, it came back in full force. Katsuki even asked him how is he when he grimaced at the pain that spiked. He assured the blond that he's alright before taking his phone to message Shouta.

Tsuna: Dad?

Dad: Yeah?

Tsuna: You okay?

Dad: I'm alright. Just sleeping.

Dad: Is it hurting again?

Tsuna: Yeah.

Tsuna: Much painful than yesterday.

He was about to type another message when a siren went off and an announcer started to talk about the security level three being breached. He and Katsuki looked at each as the students around them panicked and tried to run for the exit.

Instead of doing the same thing, Tsuna sat comfortably on his seat and continued his convo with Shouta.

Tsuna: Maybe you should check the entrances? Security cameras? Or some people lurking? I don't feel good about this.

Dad: It was just some reporters.

Tsuna sighed in dismay.

"Aren't you going to run?" Kirishima asked him as the group stood up too.

"It's probably the reporters." He waved off before moving his hands again. "They probably entered the premises by some means."

"Woah! How did you know?" Kaminari awed as they sat down again.

He jabbed a finger to the window. "They're visible."

As the others tried to see what he said, he hit sent before continuing his food. He can't help frowning at the pain he feels. It's not good. Even his gut is telling him to do something. But what? This isn't his domain. He's not the leader here. It won't do if he moves now and get caught. They'll think of him as a spy or something and put his Dad and Uncle into trouble.

Tsuna: Enemies can camouflage. I learned that from the TV. If I can act like a normal civilian in the public, how much more if they can disguise themselves as reporters? They were able to breach the security level three, it means they destroyed even the highest barricade.

Dad: I'll tell Nezu to check.

Dad: You owe me my sleep.

Tsuna: Thanks, Dad. Keep safe.

Dad: You too.

At the end of the day, Iida was hailed the president of the class after the stunt he pulled for the students to calm down under the false alarm. Kirishima, Katsuki and Kaminari stared at him in wonder after it was confirmed that it was the reporters who got inside. The police even had to do some response to make the media retreat.

Tsuna didn't immediately go home and went for level three security gates to check. He doesn't really have a good feeling about it, especially how his intuition kicks him to investigate 'at least'. The teachers were there, especially Nezu. He bowed to them before eyeing the irons that looked destroyed.

They look like they got disintegrated. The four layers weren't crushed at the same time. There was no debris, just some small rubles piled on the side. He crouched down to see how the rubles were formed. They're a mix of dust and some small stones. It's like how Hayato's flames work.

"Were the other gates the same?" He asked to Cementoss, his modern literature teacher.

"Yes. All were turned into something like that." The hero nodded.

"What are you doing here? You should be on your way home." Some hero with red costume questioned.

"Let him be." Nezu waved off before gazing at him. "What do you think, Tsuna?"

"Maybe we should seal them off for now." The brunet sighed. "This won't do though. It means someone did get inside the school and got some informations about us."

"How sure?"

Tsuna stared at the ruble before looking up to Nezu. "Seven..." He grimaced. "Seventy percent. Give or take, the main reason is the one the reporters were asking."

"You mean-"

He nodded. "We all should know why. But there's a thirty percent that it's not. But being careful won't hurt us, right?" He stood up. "I'll be going, Nezu-san."

"Thank you for the insights." The principal expressed.

"No. You shouldn't be taking my words very seriously. Who knows, I might be wrong." He gave a small smile before bowing. "I'll be going."

"I should warn All Might." Nezu hummed.

"Wait, Nezu." Vlad King said. "Why did you believe that student's speculation? He might be wrong."

"He won't be." He deflected. "That child had been right on certain things for five years."

"Do you know him personally?" Ectoplasm queried.

"His other identity, yes." He started to walk forward. "He has been out there for the entirety of his time, saving lives that most of us can't. Although some authorities haven't voiced their concern, they have voiced following some of his commands when he started to bark orders."

"Wait. Isn't that-"

He glanced back to see his staffs baffled. "The literal vigilante hero? Yes. Ishiyama, close off all gates like how Tsuna said. I'll go and warn All Might."

He left them wondering about Tsuna's capabilities. He has more things to worry, if the brunet's guesses were on point. Like how Aizawa and some of the heroes he had spoken had said.

Tsuna sighed as he waited for their Foundational Skill of Hero teacher. They just got back from lunch. All of his classmates are chattering about what they will do this time. With how quiet Katsuki and Midoriya were, he just hopes they won't get paired up again.

He also hopes that they won't do anything straining too. He has been kneading his head with how much it throbs. It's like every hours that passes, it gets more and more painful. He couldn't even sleep last night, and had the TV on all night to keep him company as he tried to be updated with what's happening.

Shouta stumbled upon him, laying on the couch like that on three in the morning.

"Good afternoon." He looked up to see Shouta walking in. "Did everyone have their lunch."

"Yes, Aizawa-sensei!" Most of them answered.

Black eyes surveyed the room, lingering on Tsuna for a sec before continuing. "For the Foundation Skills of Heroics we'll study today, it was decided that you'll be supervised by a three-man team comprising of me, All Might, and somebody else."

The brunet went alert, realizing that Nezu put All Might as their one of supervisors. He looked at head to see Izuku who looked excited. Maybe the greenet is another reason too.

"Sensei!" Sero called, hand raised to get their teacher's attention. "What'll we be doing?!"

"Be the hero everyone needs, whether it's a flood or any other disaster." Then Shouta showed them a plate with 'rescue' written on it. "It's the trial of rescue!"

Everyone murmured about their topic of the days.

"Don't get ahead of yourselves." Shouta admonished and clicked something on a small remote, causing the container of their costumes by the wall slowly get pulled away from its hiding. "As I was saying, this time, it's entirely up to each of you whether or not you wear your costume. Some of your costumes aren't probably adapted to the task at hand, after all. The training area is fairly far away, so we'll get there by bus. That's all. Go get prepared."

Tsuna stood up as well as his classmates. Before he got to his packet though, he noticed his Dad signing him to come. He did. When he got near, Shouta took his right hand and put something in there. A pair of gloves and a container of aspirin.

"How's the headache? Hizashi told me you were distracted in his class." Shouta questioned softly as the others started to go out for the locker rooms.

"Getting painful each hour passing." He answered truthfully before giving a small smile. "I'll be fine."

"Okay. The gloves were given to me by Power Loader. He already tested those with the highest density flames he got hold off. He even suggested to get Endeavor to do it. But he still wants you to have it a test later. He's rather having fun taking care of your requests."

Tsuna chuckled. "Then I should say my thanks later. I'm going. See you later, Sensei. Thanks for this."

He snickered when Shouta huffed before turning away too. He picked up his packet and followed those of his remaining classmates to the locker room. When he was asked what did their teacher told him, he raised the things that were given to him. He was asked what he needed for the aspirin, but he only smiled.

They were directed outside of the building, just where the bus was. Tsuna adjusted his cuffs and collars as he lined up behind Yaoyorosu as Iida told them to do it according to their seat number. When he was getting in, he greeted the bus driver and saluted at Shouta who looked shocked with his get up. He looked around as he tried to pick where to seat.

"Sit beside Half 'n half." Katsuki motioned to him.

Tsuna eyed the resting teen before tapping his shoulder. Mismatched eyes opened and glared at him. He shrugged it off. "May I seat beside you?"

"Hn."

The brunet settled by the seat near the aisle and was about to put his own headset on when Katsuki looked back. "Yes, Katsuki?"

"How's your headache?" The blond queried, making Jirou look back a little to check on him too. "That's two days already."

"Still at it." He answered, grimacing when a spike hammered him. "Don't worry. I already swallowed a med."

"Maybe you're sick?" Tsukoyomi opined, which Dark Shadow seconded. They were across from him. "Headaches are usually caused by fevers."

"My Dad checked my temp yesterday and this morning. No added number." He replied with a small smile before waving a hand to Dark Shadow. "Hey there, Buddy. Pleased to meet you."

Dark Shadow came close to his face. They did a stare off before quirk backed away a little.

Tsuna raised a hand and rubbed the bird's head. He suddenly remembered Kojiro and Hibird. "You remind me of two birds I'm close with."

Dark Shadow crooned. "I like you. You're pretty warm."

He chuckled as Katsuki exploded with Asui's jab. "You're welcome to sit with me whenever you want, Buddy."

"Thanks, Sawada." Tokoyami expressed, looking glad with his offer.

"Tsuna is fine." He insisted as Dark Shadow went back to his host.

"I heard Dark Shadow said you're warm." Sero pointed out from behind him. "Are you really okay, Tsuna? We don't want you collapsing on us."

"I'm not, really. You'll be the first to know if I am any sick, I promise." He vowed, earning nods from those who can hear him.

"Hey. We're almost there." Shouta announced from the passenger's seat. "Settle down already."

"Yes Sir!" All of them answered.

Tsuna pulled on his gloves and clenched them. His intuition is alerting him too, that something he won't like will happen. Well, he has to be ready for it then.
