"What happened back there Davina?!" was the first thing Genevieve said to her the moment the Elder Witch barged into her room followed by Monique, Abigail and four other witches of her Coven.

"Hello to you too Genevieve," Davina stated dryly as she turned around to face the interlopers.

"Davina, explain yourself!" The witch demanded while Monqiue, Abigail and the others watched the confrontation in silence.

"And why should I?" She arched a brow at them.

"Because you went against the treaty that I and the other Factions had drawn up when you attacked the Originals! Now, tell me why you did that!" Genevieve said.

"I was only defending myself Genevieve. If I hadn't done so, Klaus and Elijah would have kicked me out of the party,"

"And rightly so because you were acting reckless! What was that show back there Davina?! How were you able to stop a room full of people?! Is that what you have learned from our Ancestors when you were in a coma? We all thought you lost your power!" Genevieve asked.

"I was not being reckless! And my power is my own! I didn't learn it from the Ancestors!"

"Don't lie Davina! I know that you were nearly half-drunk judging from the way you acted earlier. And what do you mean 'your power is your own'?! Your power comes from the Ancestors like all the New Orleans witches!"

"Well, sorry to disappoint Genevieve but I'm not like the rest of witches here in New Orleans. I am far more different now than I was before….Now, I grow tired of this Genevieve. So kindly please leave my room before I make you do so," Davina told them.

"We are not done here Davina!"

"No, Genevieve. We are quite done," She said as she drew her power with a flick of her wrist and watched as Genevieve's eyes and the rest of the witches glowed red as her power took hold of their minds. They all froze simultaneously when Davina began to command them.

"I want you all to leave my room and don't even dare trouble me again. Ever." She ordered. "And Genevieve? Please tell the rest of the Coven not to bother me in the future. And also you need to invite me to the next Faction meeting without questioning my motive for being there. Now, you may go."

Thereafter, Davina watched as the red glow disappeared from their eyes and they regained their senses once more.

"We are leaving Davina," Genevieve said without remembering Davina's command a moment ago.

"Good," she replied, "Now, off you go then."

Genevieve scowled at her but did as she was told while Monique, Abigail and the rest of the witches shot glares in her direction.

Afterward, the Elder witch turned around and left with her entourage not too far behind.

Davina watched them go with a smirk on her lips.

"Good riddance," she muttered to herself.

For the next following days, Davina was left in peace which meant that Genevieve must have told the rest of the Coven not to bother her. So for the next five days, Davina spent most of her time drawing plans to contribute more to the supernatural community, which she would propose something during the next Faction meeting. Also, as the time passed by, Davina started to remember more of her memories as Davina Claire and her relationship with other people, like Josh, Camie and the others.

Apart from that, she continued to look into Genevieve's mind to discover more of her schemes and to find a way to promote peace within New Orleans. So on the third day, she learned that Genevieve was planning to hold the Feast of the Blessing for the witches in two weeks. She also finally got the idea of creating an improved Daylight and Moonlight rings from her, which Genevieve had learned from Klaus.

After learning this information, she started experimenting with her new found powers by creating an improved Daylight and Moonlight rings, which she planned to give to the Vampires and Werewolves of New Orleans. This would mean less bloodshed among the different species within New Orleans, most importantly the humans.

On the fourth day after the Faction party, Davina was able to create lapis lazuli and black kyanite gems from thin air with only her power alone, which she then enchanted to become Daylight and Moonlight rings with a lot of improvements. The improvements on her Daylight rings are to completely remove the thirst for blood in vampires, make them walk in the sun, enhance more of their senses, increase more of their speed and healing factor, strengthen their bodies from fire and other lethal variables, plus the ring provides complete immunity from vervain and werewolf bites.

As for her Moonlight rings, she created the rings with the purpose of completely removing the pain during a werewolf's transformation. The rings would also allow the werewolves to transform anytime they want, or not at all, and totally eliminate their aggression altogether. More than that, her Moonlight rings would allow its wearer immunity from wolfsbane, and similar to the Daylight rings, it would enhance more of the wearer's senses and increase their speed and healing factor exponentially. Lastly, her Moonlight rings would allow its wearer to become more conscious when they are in their werewolf forms.

Of course, the only way to see if her Daylight and Moonlight rings work was by giving it to the first person who volunteered. In this case, her friend Josh wanted to test the Daylight ring she created.

Hence, Davina found herself in the underground that day, where Josh was hiding.

"Did you really make an improved Daylight ring Davina?" was the first question Josh asked her when she arrived to meet him.

"Yes, I did Josh," She smiled at her friend.

"So do you want me to test it now?" He inquired.

"If it's alright with you Josh," She stated.

"I hope your ring works Davina because I've gotten really tired of hiding in the dark during day time," Josh told her.

"I know it will work Josh," She assured him as she handed the golden band with the lapis lazuli on it to him.

"Well, let's try it then," Josh replied while he took the ring and slid it into his ring finger.

"Ready?" Davina asked.

"Yes," was Josh's response.

"Let's go outside then," she said to him.

Thereafter, they walked up the stairs and towards the exit door.

"Perhaps you can expose your hand first to the sun, then your arm before you completely step outside Josh. Just in case," Davina suggested to him.

"That's a good idea Davina," Josh said as he opened the door outside.

Davina watched as Josh slowly let out his right hand into the sunlight and was relieved to see that his hand didn't burst into flames when sunlight hit his appendage.

"It's working Davina!" Josh exclaimed excitedly as he stared at his hand.

"Now, expose the rest of your arm Josh," She instructed and watched as Josh carefully followed her instruction.

Josh's arm remained the same. Tanned and still intact.

"Perhaps it's time for you to step outside," She said to him.

Davina could only feel apprehension when Josh glanced at her right before he stepped outside into the sunlight.

Soon, a grin appeared on her face when Josh didn't burst into a ball of fire even after being exposed to the sun.

"Yes, I can finally walk during the day!" Josh burst with joy.

Davina simply grinned widely at him and said, "We are not done yet Josh. We still need to test some other things like your immunity to vervain and fire."

"Alright. So do you have vervain with you?" Josh asked.

"Yes, I do. I have vervain-laced water," She replied as she pulled the flask out from her handbag.

She started to uncap it and said to Josh, "Are you up for the next test?"

"Sure."

"Give me your hand Josh," She requested.

Davina observed as Josh extended his hand to her.

"Ok, I'm going to pour the vervain-laced water into your hand. So brace yourself." She explained to him as she reached out for his hand while she moved her other hand with the flask.

"Ready?" She asked him.

"Yes,"

"Here it goes," she said and then tipped the flask down, where she watched when the liquid poured out on Josh's palm.

Josh's hand remained unaffected.

"Wow, Davina! You really created something new!" Josh gushed in wonder.

"It's not over Josh. We still need to test your immunity to fire," Davina reminded him.

"Of course," Josh responded while Davina placed the flask back into her handbag.

"Now, for the fire." Davina said as she raised her hand, ready to cast a hex. "Ready?"

"Yes, I'm ready."

"Here it goes," She warned as she flicked her wrist and cast a fire hex on Josh's arm.

She watched as Josh's arm suddenly burst into scarlet flames.

"The flames are not hurting me, Davina." Josh revealed to her as he moved his arm from side to side. "So does it mean that your Daylight ring is a success after all?"

"Yes, Josh. It means that my Daylight ring is effective, which also means that I can distribute these Daylight rings to the Vampires of New Orleans once the representative of each Faction approves of them during the Faction meeting three days from now." Davina replied as she waved her hand to extinguish the fire from Josh's arm.

"What about the Moonlight rings? Are you certain that you want to give them to the werewolves and give them an advantage? And who are you going to test it on first?" Josh inquired.

"The Moonlight rings are necessary for the supernatural community to thrive, Josh. It would lessen the aggression on werewolves. It would also allow the werewolves to control their transformation at will, where they will be fully conscious while they are in their werewolf form. This could mean no accidental deaths within the natural and supernatural community like it would happen with vampires once they eliminate their thirst for blood with my Daylight rings." Davina explained to him. "As for testing the Moonlight rings, I already plan to ask Oliver to do it for me."

"If you say so, Davina, but how do you go on to convince a werewolf to trust you? As far as I know, most of the witches, vampires and werewolves are wary of you now after what you did during the Faction party."

"Trust me Josh. I will find a way to test the Moonlight ring before the Faction meeting three days from now. More than that, I really do intend to promote peace within the supernatural community and I will start by giving gifts to the vampires and werewolves on behalf of the Witches of New Orleans."

"Well, good luck with that, Davina. I hope you are able to convince the rest of the Factions that you only have good intentions for the supernatural community."

"Don't worry Josh. I am sure that everything will be fine once I introduce my Daylight and Moonlight rings during the Faction meeting."

"I hope everything will go well for you…and thank you Davina for the Daylight ring," Josh added as he moved to hug her.

"You're welcome Josh." She replied as she hugged him back.

"So when are you going to cure Father Kieran from his hex?" Josh asked as he released her.

"We are going to head over to the Church after this, Josh. Don't you worry. I have no trouble removing the hex from Camie's uncle before his condition worsens even more." Davina assured her friend as they began to walk away from the underground entrance.
