Cami was really grateful when Davina cured her uncle of the hex and Davina was simply glad to have helped her friend.
"I'm glad your uncle is back to his usual self, Cami." was Davina's words as soon as she removed Father Kieran's hex.
"Thank you so much Davina for everything!" Cami replied as she hugged her tightly.
"You are very welcome, Cami." She responded as she hugged the blonde woman in return.
Afterward, Cami released her and asked her without hesitation. "So what now Davina? Josh told me that you created new Daylight and Moonlight rings. What are you going to do about it?"
"I plan to unite the supernatural community with my many creations, Cami. There will be no bloodshed, especially in the human community when I introduce my creations to the Faction Meeting, where I hope they will accept it." Davina informed Cami.
"And how sure are you that the leaders of the factions will accept your offerings?" Cami inquired.
"They will have to accept my offerings because of the many advantages that they will gain from it," She tells her.
"I hope for your sake that they will Davina," Cami says, smiling.
"I hope so too, Cami… The Faction Meeting is three days from now and Genevieve has already ensured that I will have an audience with the leaders of the Faction that day." Davina divulged.
"Are you nervous about the meeting?"
"No, not really."
"Well, good luck Davina."
"Thanks, Cami."
Three days later…
"Davina, this is a surprise. I didn't remember inviting you to the Faction meeting today," is Elijah's first words the instant Davina walked into the room alongside Genevieve.
"I apologize for not informing you and the others ahead of time, Elijah. I invited Davina into the Faction Meeting today because she has something to contribute to the supernatural community within New Orleans,"
"And what will that be?" was Elijah's question with a look of suspicion in his eyes.
"You will find out soon enough after we have tackled most of the important things that we must discuss today," Genevieve said as she sat on the chair while Davina followed suit beside her. "Now, shall we start our meeting now that everyone is here?"
Elijah regarded Davina and Genevieve for a moment right before he said, "Of course,"
Thereafter, Davina listened to the Leaders of the Faction discuss the state of affairs within New Orleans. For nearly two hours, Davina noticed the way others glanced at her with suspicion from the corner of their eyes, except for Father Kieran, who was there and had already acknowledged Davina with a smile.
"We must discuss the state of the Crescent Pack," Davina heard Hayley intercede. "We need more territory other than the Bayou."
"Now, it's not the time for that Hayley," Elijah interjected. "Perhaps we can discuss the division of territories some other time."
"And when will that be Elijah? A year from now? Five years?" Hayley hissed angrily as she stood up from her chair.
"I agree with Elijah…Hayley, we must address the enmity amongst the supernatural community before we can equally divide the territories among us. We must unite the community first with a strong allegiance among werewolves, vampires, witches and humans. And I for one know how to start uniting the others under one cause," Genevieve said.
"How so Genevieve?" Elijah asked coldly.
"Davina, my dear, why don't you tell them of your proposal?" Genevieve said as she nodded her head towards Davina.
"Sure," Davina slowly stood up from her chair and watched as everyone's attention was suddenly on her.
"I found a way to strengthen a natural allegiance among the supernatural community," Davina informed the majority within the room.
"And how will you foster allegiance among the community?" Elijah asked almost dismissively while he stared at his fingers with interest.
Davina frowned at Elijah's lack of interest and moved to take out the parcel full of rings she created from her messenger bag. Thereafter, she placed the parcel in the middle of the table, where the others heard the clinking of metal on metal.
"What are those?" Hayley asked, looking intrigue as she sat back down on her chair.
"Something that I recently created in the last four days," was Davina's simple reply as she slowly revealed the hundred rings she created. "An improved Daylight and Moonlight rings,"
"Improved Daylight and Moonlight rings?" Elijah repeated the words with a hint of curiosity as he examined the rings on the table.
"Yes, I created the rings with the many advantages for both werewolves and vampires," She explained to them.
"Tell them everything, Davina." Genevieve said.
"I made improvements on both Daylight and Moonlight rings. For the Daylight rings, when a vampire wears it, it will remove the thirst for blood in the wearer. More than that, it can make the wearer walk in the sun, enhance more of their senses, increase more of their speed and healing factor, strengthen their bodies from fire and other lethal variables, plus the ring provides complete immunity from vervain and werewolf bites." Davina explained to the shock of everyone in the room.
"And was this already proven effective Davina?" Elijah asked as he reached out for a ring from the parcel.
"Yes, my friend Josh volunteered to be the first to try my ring and has proven that my ring is effective. I also asked Oliver to volunteer for the Moonlight ring and he has also personally tested it himself. It is as effective as the Daylight ring."
"And does your Daylight ring really make the wearer immune to werewolf bites?" Hayley inquired, sounding completely shocked.
"Yes, it was proven effective when Oliver bit Josh two days ago. Josh's body didn't react to the bite and he doesn't need Klaus' blood for him to recover from Oliver's bite."
"How many Daylight rings did you make Davina?" Father Kieran asked her next as he ,too, took a ring from the parcel.
"I made fifty Daylight rings and Fifty Moonlight rings," Davina replied.
"That's a lot to make on your own within the last four days Davina," Father Kieran observed out loud.
"It was easy and I had no trouble making it, Father Kieran," was her only response.
"And as for the Moonlight Rings? What are the improvements you have made?" Hayley asked, almost looking forward to hearing the information.
"For the Moonlight Rings, I created them to ensure that the werewolf bloodline becomes activated without the use of human sacrifice. The wearer won't have to trigger their werewolf curse by killing any human. I also made the rings with the purpose of completely removing the pain during a werewolf's transformation. The rings would also allow the werewolves to transform anytime they want, or not at all, and totally eliminate their aggression altogether. More than that, my Moonlight rings would allow its wearer immunity from wolfsbane, and similar to the Daylight rings, it would enhance more of the wearer's senses and increase their speed and healing factor exponentially. Lastly, my Moonlight rings would allow its wearer to become more conscious when they are in their werewolf forms." Davina revealed the growing interest of the Faction Leaders.
"That seems a lot of advantages coming from one ring alone," Hayley remarked skeptically.
"But it is true. It has already proven to be effective from your own pack Hayley," was Davina's reply.
"And what of the witches Davina? Don't you have something to contribute to our Coven?" Genevieve looked at Davina with an arched brow.
"Of course, Genevieve. I am planning to create something new for the witches that will give us the advantages like the werewolves and the vampires. And also for the hybrid community if Klaus is still interested in creating more of his own kind," Davina addressed Elijah with her last statement, who looked exceedingly surprised to hear her words.
"And how do you go about helping Klaus create his own hybrid community?" Elijah asked doubtfully while he returned back one of the Daylight rings on the parcel.
"Klaus won't need a Doppelganger blood to create his own hybrid community. I have already found a way to circumnavigate through that. I can create a different kind of ring that will turn vampires or werewolves into a hybrid," Davina said to him. "Just give me a couple of days and I can create the Witch and Hybrid rings to even the odds within the supernatural community."
"What you have created here is admirable Davina," Elijah told her. "But why though? Why go to great lengths in creating these rings?"
"Because I only want peace within New Orleans Elijah. I no longer want to see bloodshed among the community and I can eliminate that by distributing the rings to limit the violence that will possibly erupt among us." Davina explained.
"I agree with you Davina. I, too, want to foster peace within New Orleans and I'm sure that your rings will be the start to unite the community under one goal. And I will be sure to pass along your good intentions for the community but not before testing your rings first. I apologize but I won't take your words for it Davina. We will only be distributing the rings to only those worthy among our kinds once the rings are proven effective." Elijah replied.
"I understand, Elijah. You can test them first if you want, but I'm sure my words will be proven true. Just call me if you need more of those for the community."
"Yes, of course and I hope you will have the supplies to make more of the rings, Davina." Elijah said.
"I have no shortage of supplies, Elijah. Don't you worry about it," was Davina's response.
"Of course," came Elijah's words. "So we have an agreement then?"
"Yes, we have an agreement. I will be supplying more of the rings once you have proven them effective for the vampires and werewolves." Davina smiled.
"That's good to hear," Elijah said with a smile of his own.
Afterward, the Faction meeting resumed, but now with a great degree of excitement after the others have examined the rings closely with their eyes.
Davina was confident that her rings would work and hopefully would improve the relationship among the supernatural community in the future.
