Ch.14: Welcome to Alola! Part 2
It's been several days since Ash came to Alola to check on Professor Sycamore, who has been checked on daily by Lucario. During that time a lot of things changed, one of them was the two new members to Ash's team, a new form of Lycanroc, Dusk–Lycanroc and the other had turned out to be a creature known as an Ultra Beast that was called Poipole that evolved into Naganadel. The professors, Chloe and Lillie were in shock when they just how many Pokemon Ash had with him. They learned a lot about and from him, especially Lillie. With the help of Greninja and Pikachu, Ash was making a slow process with her when it came to her fear. He had given her a Pokemon Egg to look after that hatched into an Alolan–Vulpix, which she named Snowy.
As for Ash himself, Lycanroc and Naganadel weren't the only changes for him. A few days after he arrived, he encountered one of Alola's guardians, Tapu Koko, who gave him a Z–Power Ring with which he can perform Z–Moves. It took him a while, but he eventually got several Z–Crystals – Fighitnium Z, Firium Z, Normalium Z, Grassium Z, Electrium Z, Poisonium Z, Waterium Z, Icium Z, Flyinium Z and a special crystal for Lycanroc – Lycanium Z. He learned a lot about Z–Moves from Professor Kukui and soon was able to perform them without much trouble, except for Lycanroc as the rock–type sometimes lost control of his power and that was seen whenever his eyes turned from green to red. Fortunately, thanks to Lucario's aura, it turned out that Lycanroc's strength increased when his eyes turned red and was soon able to control himself. However, Lycanroc and Naganadel weren't the only changes to his team as Charmander evolved into Charmeleon after an encounter with three people form Team Skull, and learned Dragon Breath in the process.
It may have been only a few days, but Ash already saw Professor Kukui as a father figure. The young professor helped Ash anyway he could when while he was helping Lillie and Chloe with their respective problems.
He managed to help Lillie get over her fear after he suggested they swap Pokemon for a while and it was a success after she managed to touch Yanmega without a problem, and soon she was able to touch every Pokemon without fear. Well, it took her a while not to fear the two dragons, but she eventually got over it and was able to touch them as well. Soon, Lillie and Snowy started to train with Ash and his Pokemon, who had to hold back to give them a chance.
As for Chloe, she may not have been a fan of Pokemon, but after seeing how much Ash and his Pokemon fun have, she decided to give it chance and received a female Eevee from Ash, and soon started training with Ash and his Pokemon.
The two girls clearly liked Ash and laughed when it took him 2 days and a Thunderbolt from Pikachu to remember that he hadn't called his friends to tell them the situation. However, when he called Serena through his Holo Caster, it was Leaf who answered and she was surprisingly calm about everything as she knew that something must've come up that needed his assistance. She also told them that they haven't done pretty much anything except train a little and were still in Celadon City and promised to try to calm Serena down until he came back. Even though they weren't related, Ash was glad to have a sister like Leaf. The nights were the hardest for the two girls as they tried to keep their hands to themselves as much as possible as they didn't want to get between Ash and Serena and ruin their relationship.
It's been 10 days since Ash came to Alola and both Professor Kukui and Professor Cerise noticed how much Chloe and Lillie have changed since Ash's arrival. Professor Sycamore woke up the day before just as Lucario had predicted, but still couldn't get out of bed. Unfortunately, the happy moments didn't last long as Ash heard about dangerous Pokemon Poachers being in the nearby forest, the forest where Lillie and Chloe have gone to and the boy quickly raced after them in case they got into trouble. He knew they can take care of themselves, but dealing with poachers was something they weren't ready for.
It took him around 5 minutes to find them and saw that they were cornered by two men with an Aggron and a Tyranitar that appeared to have Mega–Evolved. Aggron's trainer ordered him to use Flash Cannon on the two girls, Eevee and Snowy, but Ash quickly had Greninja use Water Shuriken that stopped the steel–type move.
"Lillie, Chloe, are you okay," Ash asked them as he approached the two frightened girls.
"Ash, you're here," exclaimed both Lillie and Chloe and hugged him in fear.
"It's okay. I'm here now and I won't let those guys hurt you," said Ash softly as he comforted them.
"Thanks for the safe," said Chloe as they pulled away from the hug and smiled at him.
"No problem. Now, let us handle them," said Ash as he and Greninja faced the two men.
"So very touching. Too bad you won't get out of here unharmed," said Tyranitar's trainer.
"You can't take both of us at once," said Aggron's trainer with a smirk.
"We'll see about that," said Ash as he and Greninja began mimicking their moves and Greninja was engulfed in a water veil that exploded and a shuriken was formed on his back, fully transforming into Ash–Greninja.
"Whoa," said Lillie and Chloe as they stared in shock at Greninja's sudden transformation.
"What the hell is that," asked Aggron's trainer.
"Does it matter? Let's take 'em down," said Tyranitar's trainer. "Tyranitar, use Stone Edge!"
"Greninja, dodge it and use Smokescreen, followed by Double Team," said Ash.
Tyranitar fired his Stone Edge, but Greninja avoided it with ease and unleashed a Smokescreen before creating copies of himself with Double Team.
"Get into the smoke and use Ice Beam on the field," said Ash and Greninja ran into the smoke before freezing the ground around Aggron and Tyranitar. "Aggron is gonna be tougher to beat so focus on him. Use back–to–back Night Slash!"
Greninja ran at Mega–Aggron and began to strike him with Night Slash fast and fiercely.
"Tyranitar, use Thunder Punch," said Tyranitar's trainer.
"Greninja, get back and use Ice Beam on Tyranitar," said Ash.
Tyranitar went for Thunder Punch, but Greninja avoided it and struck Tyranitar with Ice Beam, freezing it solid.
"Aggron, use Heavy Slam," said Aggron's trainer.
"Dodge it with Double Team and then use Water Shuriken," said Ash.
Aggron went for Heavy Slam, but Greninja avoided it and struck Mega–Aggron with Water Shuriken.
"Tyranitar, get yourself out of the ice," said Tyranitar's trainer in anger and small cracks started to appear on the ice.
"Don't give them a chance to attack. Greninja, use Double Team," said Ash and Greninja multiplied himself. "Send some of your clones after Aggron to keep it busy while you use Water Shuriken on Tyranitar."
Greninja sent some of his clones at Aggron while he grabbed the shuriken on his back and threw it at Tyranitar, hitting the rock/dark–type with a super–effective Water Shuriken.
"Aggron, get rid of those clones with Focus Punch," said Aggron's trainer and Aggron destroyed the clones with Focus Punch.
"Let's attack at the same time," said Tyranitar's trainer.
"Right," said Aggron's trainer with a nod.
"Use Flamethrower full power," shouted both men.
"Greninja, use Double Team and then Water Shuriken," said Ash. Greninja once again created copies of himself that got absorbed into the Water Shuriken, making it bigger just as Tyranitar and Aggron fired their Flamethrowers. "Block them!"
Greninja started to spin the giant shuriken as the two fire–type attacks hit it, but instead of dealing damage, the shuriken started to absorb the two attacks, much to everyone's shock.
"Let them have it," said Ash and Greninja threw the flaming shuriken at Aggron and Tyranitar, who could only watch as the shuriken struck them both, sending them colliding with their respective trainers before hitting some trees behind them, thus defeating them. "And that's how we do it."
Chloe and Lillie could only stare in shock as Greninja turned back to normal and couldn't stop themselves from blushing as Ash brought Lucario, Hydreigon and Primeape out to carry the unconscious men and their Pokemon after Greninja froze them with Ice Beam.
"Come on, let's get those guys to Officer Jenny," said Ash and the girls nodded with a blush.
The trio and their Pokemon exited the forest and saw Professor Kukui, Professor Cerise and Officer Jenny heading their way.
"There they are," shouted Professor Cerise as they approached the children and their Pokemon and stopped when they noticed Ash's Pokemon carrying the frozen men and Pokemon. "What happened? Are you okay?"
"We're okay, dad," said Chloe. "Those men tried to hurt us, but Ash saved our lives."
"Yeah, he and Greninja defeated them," said Lillie in agreement.
"That's a relief," said Professor Kukui with a sigh.
"It's good that you're okay, but what you did was very dangerous, kids," said Officer Jenny before Ash showed her his PokéDex and paled after seeing it. "You're an apprentice of Diantha!? I'm sorry, my apologies. I had no idea. Please don't report me!"
"Don't worry, I won't," said Ash with a smile. "Just take these guys with you."
"Of course, but could you unfreeze them," asked Jenny and Ash nodded before having Hydreigon use Flamethrower to melt the ice.
When that was done, Jenny returned the two rock–types to their respective PokeBalls and handcuffed the two men, and drove away.
"Ash, was she telling the truth? Are you really Diantha's apprentice," asked Professor Kukui.
"Well, Serena is also her apprentice. We're from Kalos after all and we met while we were working with Professor Sycamore," said Ash, shocking Lillie, Chloe and the two professors. "I don't like to use that to my advantage, but I will if I have to. Also, I didn't want you to treat me differently just because of that."
"We understand, Ash. Don't worry about it, we're not gonna treat you any differently," said Professor Kukui and Ash smiled. "Now, let's head back to the house. You've been through a lot and you need some rest."
"Yeah, I could use a break," said Ash and the girls nodded.
The next few days weren't that eventful, except for a Rotom getting inside Ash's PokéDex, turning it into a RotomDex, but Ash was happy for having a talking PokéDex that also understood what Pokemon were saying and used to translate for the humans, besides Ash.
It's been 15 days since Ash came to Alola and Professor Sycamore was feeling much better. His arms were healed up and could stand up, but he had to use a crutch to walk for a while. It was a sad day for Chloe and Lillie as Ash was leaving Alola now that Professor Sycamore was much better. Their sadness didn't go unnoticed by Professor Kukui and Professor Cerise, who came up with idea and really hoped that Ash would agree with them. As Ash was packing his bags, the two professors asked him if he could take Lillie and Chloe with him, much to his and the girls' surprised. Ash thought about it and finally agreed after discussing it with Greninja. Chloe and Lillie couldn't be happier and only hoped that Serena wouldn't be hard on Ash. The three bid farewell to the three professor and got their plane for Celadon City.

Hey, everyone. I'm back with another chapter. Now, this is the final chapter of the story for 2021. The next one will be upload in either January or February and that's a promise! Yeah, it might've been a little rushed and a little short, but that's how I wanted it to turn out, so I hope you liked it. It would've been a lot longer if I wrote what Ash did every day while he was in Alola. Don't worry, Ash will still have his Alola Pokemon from the anime, plus many more, but he'll get them when the time comes. Lycanroc and Naganadel are my personal favorite of his Alolan Team so I decided to add them to the team now. Below I'm gonna write the list of the events while Ash was in Alola in short.
