A/N:

@Lily3nna: Here is the new chapter(s). Thank you for reading!

@Amaryllis Flick: Hahaha! Tsuna has hero tendencies even if he says he's a vigilante. The good thing about his vigilantism is he can befriend those he shouldn't. Anyway, I'm sorry for making you cry. Hahaha. I feel bad, but I have to do it. Please don't cry.

@rozielrie: This is the problem with Tsuna. Gone with his anchor, either he explodes or implodes or both. So yeah. AFO didn't really expect that. And I'm so sorry for making you cry. Hahaha. Thank you though.

@Fragments of Imagination: Hahaha! Thank you! I hope you'll like the next chapters.

@ramamiss: Awtsu. I'm sorry for making you sad. And chapter 36. I hope these next chapters will make you feel better.

@Narutaard: Nope. It's really All Might who I'm pertaining there. It's as if All Might is assuring Eraserhead to trust Tsuna that he will be well and protect Bakugou.

@bbbk027: Uhm... hahaha!!

@Green Priestess: I have to admit the sky charm thing made me laugh. If Tsuna really went for the Villain Alliance, I don't think AFO will still be alive, nor the Villain Alliance will still exist. And I'm sorry on the last part. Hahaha. My bad.

@Lunary: You. Are. Godsent. You almost gave a heart attack with your reviews and I love all of them. Please don't be sorry for blowing up my inbox. It made me really happy. I hope these next chapters will make you happy! Thank you!!

Can I just give all of you a big virtual hug? Hahaha! Either ways, I'm so sorry for being a little late. A lot is going on with all the school stuffs and life, but I'm not making that as an excuse. You all are still my priority although I'm writing my stories for my satisfaction. Huh... The irony.

So yeah. They aren't proofread, so there will be a lot of eyesores like grammar errors that will make you think like I'm pertaining to something else and typos, and I hope you bear with them a little...? Sorry in advance.

In short, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

Anyway, go on. Shoo and enjoy!

Chapter Thirty-Seven

Tsuna stared at the two pictures in front of him. One for Iemitsu and another for Nana. He's just sitting there, admiring them. He suddenly remembered how his parents died in his original world. Nana died in Japan during Tsuna's forties, because of breast cancer. Iemitsu died a year after, due to heartbreak and blood loss from an attack in the base. However, Tsuna admired both for dying with smiles on their faces.

After the doctors declared both's deaths, Tsuna and Shouta scrabbled to contact Hizashi and prepare for the wake. The next day, Tsuna met the family sides of both of his parents. He didn't socialize and stayed with his Dad and Hizashi. Not one will even approach him with how he expressionless he made his face. Every time someone approaches him, he'll look at them coldly. He'll only smile when Shouta nudges him, or when Hizashi whispers something funny.

The funeral contains a lot of his parents' friends he knew for years. They come and go in the hospital, meeting him there with and without Shouta at his side whenever he visits. They hugged him and told them to never shy away if he and Shouta needed help on anything or something. He feels incredibly warm with how they love his parents. Not one have said bad thing about them, and he feels grateful for that. For the latest though, he didn't expect to see Endeavor. The man paid his parents respect and offered him a sincere condolence. Shouta told him that even though Endeavor sees All Might as his rival to being the number one hero, it's Iemitsu who he rivals against intensity of flames.

Hitoshi came by too. Also Shouto and his siblings. Since both of them saw him and his Dad standing side by side, they knew their relationship has been, more or less, mended. Tsuna thanked the two of them and hugged them tight. Both knew he meaned a lot of things but didn't mention anything. Fuyumi and Natsuo hugged him too.

After the funeral, the burial commenced. It was painful to see them get buried. The family members from different sides though have the audacity to try and get their own children's bodies, that it took Hizashi's intervention to get both and put them beside Oboro's. None said anything in complaint. After that, Tsuna invited Shouta to go home, not regarding any of them of attention.

It has been three days since then. But both he and his Dad haven't talked through things. The apartment has been quiet. They ate together, and that's that. He wants to talk to him, but he doesn't know how to approach. Maybe Shouta has the same problem too.

He perked up when he heard the doorbell ring. He stood up as he hears his Dad's footsteps. Both of them gazed at each other in curiosity. Just then, his intuition knocked on him, so he followed Shouta to the foyer.

"Yes?" Shouta questioned after he opened the door.

"Is this the Aizawa Residence?" A smooth voice queried with a little thick accent he can identify as Italian.

"Yes." His Dad answered.

"We are the Vongola, I am Enrico de Vongola. We are looking for Tsunayoshi Sawada." The man, Enrico, introduced.

Tsuna stepped forward. "Dad." His Dad glanced at him. "Let them in. I'll prepare the drinks."

"Alright."

Before he went inside the kitchen, he peered at how many are they. Four. Probably all of his Grandpa's sons. It's obvious the bodyguards are outside. No matter. If ever they attack, he can just incinerate everyone except for the civilians and his Dad.

Shouta came a second later, helping him. Since he knew Xanxus enough, even if it's the parallel version, he asked his Dad of his alcohol. He can't help the snicker when the hero stared at him with a mortified expression. Of course he knew there's an alcohol inside their home other than the usual sake and beer. He knows it like the back of his hand.

Going out, he placed the cups of coffee on the center table, and the glass with ice cubes and the bottle of scotch for Xanxus. A brow was quirked at him from the Wrath, but he didn't acknowledge it as he made his Dad sit beside him. Of whatever their intention of going here, his intuition knows he can take care of them himself, diplomatically and literally.

"Thank you for the drinks." The younger version of Enrico, albeit blond, expressed. "I'm Massimo de Vongola. That," He pointed at the other guy beside Enrico, who has black hair. "is Federico, while this," then he pointed at Xanxus who is starting on the alcohol. "is Xanxus."

Tsuna nodded. "Tsunayoshi Sawada, this is my Dad," He gestured to Shouta. "Shouta Aizawa."

"We want to offer our condolences, and to apologize for being unable to come for the wake or the funeral." Enrico stated, blue eyes darting from him to Shouta's. "Our flight got delayed."

"Understandable." He replied with a nod. He saw Federico and Massimo take a sip of the coffee he made for them.

"We would also like to talk about certain things." The eldest worded and eyed them carefully.

"Of what?" Shouta questioned.

"Vongola is not only a corporate, but a mafia." Massimo elaborated, putting his cup down. "In some cases, Iemitsu's parents have been working to us up until now, except for him who decided to become a hero instead."

"His parents have expressed to us how unapproachable you were in the wake and funeral. Even in the burial." Enrico added on. "They have told us to invite you to the mafia and serve under the CEDEF."

Tsuna put a hand on his Dad's knee and patted it. The man got incredibly tensed. "There's a reason why I didn't associate myself to them, or even to my Kaasan's parents. I knew they were working for you, and my Kaasan's parents want me to live with them and depart from my life in here. If I made myself amiable, you won't be here. Of course, that's not the only reason why you're here, is it?"

"Your hero name." Federico stated. Tsuna noticed the empty cup. "It has a heavy meaning for us."

"Which one?" He questioned, even if he knows what they mean. "The encompassing sky, or the Vongola Decimo?"

"Both." Enrico answered, blue eyes glinting. "I am the leader of my famiglia. The mafia boss. The Vongola Decimo."

Tsuna eyed the ring on the man's right middle finger. "I see. What of it?"

"Can't you see? You're endangering Vongola." Massimo explained like it's a fact.

He patted his Dad's knee again as he hummed. "I think you have misunderstood. My hero name has a different connotation to your title, Enrico-san. Encompassing sky is the sky that gives hope to those who see and remember it. Vongola Decimo is the greatest protect. No matter, I cannot change it for it is what my acquaintances and colleagues have started to call me."

Enrico sighed. "I cannot let you keep it if it puts doubt to the famiglie allied to mine."

"But isn't it the boss' job to assure those doubts?" He questioned, brows raised. He kept himself from smirking when Xanxus stopped mid gulp.

"Are you mocking my brother?" Federico accused with a frown.

"Does it come out like that? Well, if it does, it means you are guilty of charge. You're fussing over trivial things."

When Massimo and Federico were about to get up, Shouta tensed and edged, while he let a smirk form on his lips. It made the three stop, but they were high strung.

"For a boss, you cannot control your subordinates." He hummed, eyeing Enrico who became stoic. "Do you want them to die, Enrico-san?"

"What makes you think they will and not you?" The 'Vongola Decimo' rebutted.

He let his eyes flash orange, making the ring react to his flames as he smiled amicably. "Because I know so. I don't want a fight in my home. It's a mess. But if it can't be helped, I'll make you accountable."

When both Vongola stood up, Tsuna let his flames flow in waves. It made the room go hot and dry. Shouta visibly relaxed beside him, but still ready, while the others froze. Orange eyes gazed at the glowing ring that made the four brothers stare at it. He retracted his flames and huffed in dismay.

"Y-You..." Enrico stuttered, staring at him with wide eyes.

"You should ask Talbot about that." He waved off. "Tell my Tousan's parents to never come back. Even his siblings. I do not want to associate myself with the mafia. I have my hands full already. If they want custody, my Dad already has it."

"Under the wish of Nana Sawada." Shouta informed.

"If they persist, tell them I will not hesitate burying them." He gave them a leveled stare, the same looks he gives to his enemies. "I am not a hero. I'm a vigilante. I can kill if I want, if my Dad permits. If you have a problem with my hero name, then you better change yours instead. This is my title, my property. You have more years to prove yourself that you earn it, I have mine since then."

"You're that kid who called the hitman eleven years ago." Xanxus remarked, taking all of their attentions. "The kid who contacted the hitman and started to shoot off information about your whereabouts, the situation and the condition. I heard what you called yourself and how you threatened your attacker." Then the Wrath smirked at his brothers. "He had beaten you for five years, Enrico. And with the traditional flames in him? He almost owns the Vongola."

"Shut up." Massimo hissed.

"The ring can only be lit up and changed to its original form in one way." He informed, sighing in resignation. "One is the Boss trial where you must earn Vongola Primo's approval. Those who has the will can carry this out. Good luck getting it. Vongola Primo is a menace. Second is First generation Vongola trial where you must gain their seals." He suddenly remembered how did that go with them. "Then the Arcobaleno trial. Good luck finding the seven Arcobaleno, and gaining their seals."

"How did you know this?" Federico questioned skeptically.

"That's for you to figure out." He stood up and quirked them an eyebrow. "Now, if you must, you can go out now. I do not like insolence in my home. And keep the bottle, Xanxus-san."

After ushering them out, Tsuna cleaned up everything and excused himself to rest. He suddenly wants to bash Enrico's head for being stupid.

Vongola Secondo and his subnormal line.

When he woke up though, he can hear some yelling. He removed himself from his bed and went out of the room to see who is shouting. When he got to the dining room, he was greeted with Shouta staring blankly at the persons across from him in the table. They were Iemitsu's parents and three siblings.

"He belongs to us!" Iemitsu's mother shouted. "He is to live in Italy with us! In our mansion where he can be free! Not in this cheap apartment you can provide!"

"Clarita!" The husband admonished. "Do not insult the abode!"

"How can I not when everything doesn't fit Tsunayoshi's life?!" 'Clarita' shouted.

Caramel caught black, when the latter leaned away from the family. The brunet crossed his arms and leaned on the doorjamb. There's an almost unnoticeable shrug, that he replied with a roll of his eyes. His Dad's eyes showed mirth with his response before glancing down. Tsuna stood on his tiptoes to see what it is. Papers. Probably custody papers.

He waved his hand before forming an 'X' with his arms. He got a nod in response. He looked at the 'family' again. A pair of eyes were watching him. He rose a brow, causing them to avert.

"I do not care of Nana's wishes! I want you to sign these papers!" Clarita stated.

"Provide a pen." Shouta said.

"Nadia." The husband called.

Nadia, the owner of the eyes that were watching him, shook her head. "No."

The response got attention.

"The pen, Nadia." One of the boys gritted.

"No." The lady answered back, glaring at them.

"Do not make this harder." The other warned.

The husband placed a pen on the table. "Here."

Shouta took the pen and flicked it to Nadia. "Catch that."

"What?!" All of them, except for Nadia, shouted.

When Clarita started to shout and curse his Dad in Italian, Tsuna went over. He excused himself, went for Shouta's side, took the paper and let his flames burn it until not even an ash can be seen. He looked down to his Dad who is looking up to him. He greeted the man 'good evening'. Shouta smiled softly before reaching out for his head and kissed his forehead. He missed this.

"Did you start dinner?" He asked.

"Nope. Not yet." Shouta replied before facing the crowd again. "What was it again?"

"Tsunayoshi." Clarita uttered.

He stared down at the woman before looking at Nadia. He nodded at her. "What should I call you?"

"Aunt Nadia will be fine." The lady answered with a smile.

"Alright, welcome to my home, Aunt Nadia." He smiled.

"Tsunayoshi-"

"I will not come to you." He gritted, glaring at them. "You dared to enter my home and started to yell at my Dad. Who fucking give you the permission to do so?"

"Shh." Shouta shushed, trying to calm him down. "Relax. You're getting stressed again."

He took a deep breath to calm his nerves. He's seriously pissed. The Vongola, now them? Who's next? His Kaasan's parents?

"Tsuna will not come with you nor will I sign the custody papers you will conjure again." Shouta stated with finality. The usual voice he uses on his classmates. "My son has been with me for eleven years without any of you contacting him, even though you knew Iemitsu Sawada was in coma. He had stated his decision to the Vongola. He does not want any association with you, nor want me to surrender his custody to any of you. He is my son in anything but blood. If you want to take him by force, you have to go through me and the whole hero society he knows. Because none of us will give him up for you."

"You have no fight against mafia." One of the boys gloated.

Shouta smirked. "Don't say that, you don't know what a person can do with his dying will."

"If you want, I can clean the mafia again, Dad." He offered, wistful. "I know how every famiglia works. It won't even take a year for me to get rid of it. As long as you want me to."

"Not yet?" The hero hummed. "They won't have jobs if you do."

He shrugged. "Not my problem. They went here, they planted the seed, I'll make it grow while you do the bossing."

"Don't say it like that." His Dad chided. "We have our hands full. Anyways, we would like you to go now. We want to mourn ourselves. We do not want any kind of disturbance. I hope our words are enough to make you back away."

There was silence before the husband sighed. "Message was clear, Aizawa. I apologized for being mum while my wife insulted you and your home"

"Ietsuna!" Clarita shouted, only to earn a stern glare from the man.

"We must respect the child's wishes. He chose to stay, he is to stay. And even if we force it, you cannot break this kind of bond." Ietsuna gestured to them. "That is family. Even if Aizawa does not state, Tsunayoshi will burn everything that will stand in his way. Enrico has warned us. We did not heed. Nadia saw it, I saw it. It's in front of you, Clarita. Can't you not see it?"

Nadia stood up and bowed. "Nice to meet you, Aizawa-san, Tsunayoshi-kun. I will see you around." Then she walked out.

"Nadia!" Clarita yelled.

"If I were you, I will say my farewell, Mother." The lady advised as Ietsuna stood up as well.

Tsuna and Shouta watched them leave. Clarita was adamant to stay, but with a snap of Ietsuna's fingers, the two boys have their mother's arms and is guiding her out of the house. Ietsuna was nice enough to alert them that he'll lock the door. When the family was out, Tsuna let himself fall on his Dad's laps and hugged the latter who hugged him back. They stayed like that until both stomachs growled in protest.

Even when Shouta cooked, Tsuna latched on him like a koala on a bamboo. The brunet had his right ear pressed on his Dad's back, a hand on the beating heart while his other arm is encircled around the man's waist. He enjoyed and assured himself that his Dad is alive and with him and accepts him. The hero laughed when he groaned after the food got served.

After cleaning up and doing their baths, Tsuna sneaked inside his Dad's room and still did the same. Shouta didn't complain. If he woke up with his ear on the man's chest while arms were around him, he snuggled closer and never let go. They can talk tomorrow. He'll enjoy the small mercies he's granted to.

Clarita Alberto-Sawada is a family woman with pride. She was a CEDEF agent when she met Ietsuna Sawada, her husband for forty-five years and counting. As much as she values her work, she never abandoned her family. Ietsuna has the same philosophy. But it doesn't mean they couldn't cast away a child.

When their first child, Iemitsu, was born, they trained him to be an agent. A mafioso who can control his flame quirk. But they did not expect him to express his wants to become a hero. So they let him go as Daiya got born. For years they didn't hear anything from their first born. But they were aware of what he's doing.

When they heard that he married a hero who's name is Nana, they wanted to come. But they don't want to risk the couple. They were gifted of a family picture of three, a cute child between the couple. At the back was their names, and the name Tsunayoshi Sawada engraved its way to their minds. After three months, they were informed that the couple are in coma. For years they knew and didn't take any action of helping.

And when they died and wanted to take action, they're denied? Preposterous! They have rights to claim their grandson! But why can't they?! Why are they running away?!

"What the heck was that?!" Clarita shouted as the door gets closed and Shin started to drive. "We can just take him! He won't be able to win against the five of us!"

"Mom." Clarita turned to her youngest child, Daiya. The boy looks grim. "I think you're wrong."

"What's wrong? The fact that we want to claim our blood?" Clarita questioned angrily.

"No. There was something wrong with how he stated it, Mom." Shin added from the driver's seat.

"He said 'again'." Nadia disclosed, looking out the car's window. "He said he'll clean the mafia again."

"No one has cleaned the mafia." Daiya murmured. "So it pertains to that."

"Remember what Byakuran had said after Lal suddenly grew up eleven years ago?" Shin queried, black eyes looking back to them. "The greatest sky who purged the underworld has awaken. One bad step will turn him to the demon we will not be able to contain. One good step will keep him away from the safest haven."

"Tsunayoshi has no regards to consequences." Ietsuna added from the passenger's seat. "Even without Aizawa's help, he can take us on. Enrico said so himself, Tsunayoshi did not hesitate insulting him nor making a threat of killing his brothers right in front of him. He won't have any second thoughts of burying us like he promised."

"He's a teen." Clarita emphasized, earning sighs.

"Let's put it this way, Mom." Daiya patiently stated. "The leader of our family is you, but the final decision is on Dad. In Vongola and CEDEF, Lal is the leader, but it's Enrico who has the last word. It's the same with Tsunayoshi and Aizawa. Aizawa is the man of the house, but Tsunayoshi is the one who makes the vital call. It means even if Aizawa makes a move to stop him, he won't stop. No one can stop him from attacking any of us."

"Ah. Here." Nadia put a phone on Clarita's hand. There was a video playing. Clarita's eyes watched as a beam shoot off and a wall of orange flame appeared. "That orange flame is Tsunayoshi's." Then it went gone and the camera zoomed in to see the very brunet. "He's on par with pro-heroes. No one knows the limit of his power. Do you think we-" Her daughter made a circle, pointing at all of them. "-can take this kind of power on with our quirks only?"

Realization downed on Clarita. "You mean..."

"Yes." Ietsuna confirmed. "He will kill if it's for his freedom and for Aizawa. He knows what he's doing and what he's saying. If we forced him, we're good as dead. It's a good thing he didn't kill you by then, Clarita. Insulting his home and his parent, are as good as insulting him also."

Clarita closed her mouth and stared at the video.

The rest of their ride was quiet.
