A/N:

Didn't I say I'll be posting the rest of the updates this Wednesday? Yeah. Here I am. HAHAHA!

@BlankInk: Hahaha. Sorry about the cliffhanger. And nope... Reborn and Tsuna didn't harmonize. yie.

@Natsu Lucy1: When I was writing the chapter, I really considered myself cruel and I hated myself for awhile. BNHA Reborn deserves the love. Maybe he lived well enough and gained the love of family for him to accept his death like that.

@CalielRealm: I'm sorry.

@rama-miss: Let's not lose hope. I'm so sorry.

@rozielrie: Hey. Thank you!

@nailaazzahra742: Here it is.

@Lily3nna: Thank you. And yeah! Tsuna being possessive and Xanxus snapping at request and command is really... argh! Hahaha!

Anyone familiar with BNHA Class 1-A's first names? I hope you are. Hahaha!

Anyway, here you go. Happy reading two chapters!

Chapter Fifty

Shouta looked up from the paper he's holding and scanned the class, only to see an empty desk at the back. His brows furrowed and looked at Iida.

"Where's Sawada?" He questioned.

The teen looked back to the empty chair with a surprised look. "I thought he was here."

"He never came in, Sensei." Yaoyorozu answered, frowning worriedly. "I didn't see him in breakfast either."

"He didn't do his usual run too." Midoriya added, equally worried. "He's usually the first to get up and the last to finish his runs."

He turned to Bakugou who stood up and went to him. "What is it?"

"O-Oi! Bakugou!"

"Get him." The blond whispered to him, eyes glaring intensely. "He was shouting at three this morning. Then I heard him crying. What I heard is someone died."

He nodded and let the kid take his seat again. "Wait for Mic." Then he bolted out.

He quickly went for the faculty and damped his papers there before running out to the hallway. As he gets closer, he can feel the saturated flames in the Hero Alliance. No wonder Natsu wasn't with Eri this morning, he went for his owner. He quickly entered the dorm with his own key then boarded the elevator. It took time for him to reach the floor, but as he gets nearer, he can feel his heart wrenching in pain and sadness.

He walked for the room his son is occupying, and he can hear the sobs and hiccups. He knocked softly on the wood before twisting the knob to test his luck. The door was open. He swung it wider and took a step in. The room is dark, with minimal sunlight entering the room from the heavily covered balcony. At the chair is his son, curled and hugging his knees with his phone in hand. Natsu in his big lion form is on the side, staring worriedly at the brunet.

"Tsuna?" He called out.

The brunet perked up before turning to him. Red rimmed eyes, nose and cheeks, with tear, still flowing, stained cheeks. "D-Dad?"

He closed the door behind him. "What happened?"

The teen closed his eyes tightly, as if in pain. "Reborn died."

Shouta froze.

The greatest hitman, who has been with them for the past two months and had been teasing them, died? How can that be?

"Dad,"

He pulled himself out of reverie and took his shoes off.

"h-he said-" Tsuna hiccuped. "-h-he thought o-of y-you as a-a b-brother and h-he said w-we-we're his f-family."

Shouta went nearer and took the brunet off the chair. Natsu went for the bed, by the wall, and let him put Tsuna beside him. He quickly searched for the fedora he knew that came from Reborn. It was at the desk. He took it and the plushy replica of the hitman from the head board then put them to Tsuna's arms. The brunet curled and cried lightly. He slipped in and hugged his son with Natsu. Tsuna clutched on him tightly.

Still, his mind went back to the fact that Reborn died. An ambush? Reborn had told him that a lot of people, hitman, assassin, mafiosi, have grudges on him. It must be. But how did Tsuna know? Reborn called him like he promised? That man never breaks a promise. The two say gentlemen don't break promises. The fact that Reborn died and Tsuna knows, is because they had talk for the last time. Bakugou did say he heard him crying three in the morning. Three in the morning there in Japan, but... Eight in the evening in Italy.

He suddenly feels his gut contracting. Tsuna told him that Reborn never kills just for money. He has his own standard. He won't kill women if they are respectable enough, children because that's just low, and those who can earn his respect in just simple exchanges. He will only kill the 'scams' and 'trashes' of the world. Those who torments the weak. Reborn has principles, and even if it's not according to the law, Shouta respects that. So he accepted Reborn as someone who he sees as a normal person. Someone he sees as another family that Tsuna pulled along, like Shinsou. But brothers...

He looked down to Tsuna who is clutching Reborn plushy to his heart. He's still awake. Still crying. Should he make him talk? Or he should keep quiet? He shook his head and hugged the brunet to his chest. It was just in summer when Nana and Iemitsu died, and now Reborn.

What can he do to keep his son sane?

"Tsuna." He whispered, tucking the brunet's head to his chest. "I know you have cried a lot before I came. I know you know that I'll be here. But you can still cry to me. Dad is here. I'm here." He felt a grip on his back, he gripped back. "Everything will be alright, Tsuna."

His son let out a sob before he bawled to his chest. Shouta curled too and let his tears go. Because even for a little time they've been together, Reborn became part of their little family.

Class A looked up from their tests when the door opened. Present Mic went to the door and talked with someone in a hushed voice before letting someone come in. A tired Tsuna strode in, his bag on his shoulder and headset in his ears. What's so worrying on him was how red his eyes were and how dim those caramel eyes that shone bright just yesterday.

Present Mic closed the door softly and took a paper from the podium and walked for Tsuna who opted to wear a pair of wide rimmed glasses and a white face mask. They peered as the teacher put the paper on the brunet's desk. They made some quiet exchange, and before they knew it, Mic was chuckling and ruffling their classmate's hair in a fond way. As Tsuna started to write, Mic went in front.

They followed their classmate's example while thinking what happened to Tsuna while they were asleep.

In PE, they told to wear their hero costumes to practice their new techniques again. The boys were talking except for the usual three who are sensitive to the brunet's mood. Tsuna was sluggish but he was the first to finish, going out with his mittens clutched tightly in his hand. When they went for Gamma Gym, Tsuna was nowhere to be seen. The girls were huddled, talking about something in hushed voices. Sero tried to ask, but they only shook their heads.

The class was at it when they heard a loud explosion from the very back. Ectoplasm and Cementoss looked over with them, and they saw Tsuna fighting Natsu in his lion form. The two were burning that Cementoss has to put a barrier between them. They kept going at it, until Natsu admitted defeat and 'gao'-ed softly. The girls ushered the boys to back away and go back to their training when Tsuna started to walk for his cat. But they saw what they saw. Tears streamed as Natsu 'gao'-ed back softly.

"We kinda heard it. Me and Aoyama." Mina said softly while they were all huddled up in the living room and Tsuna went for the hospital. "A guy named Reborn died that three in the morning somewhere in Italy. It took a lot of time for him to calm down that's why he was only able to catch up to the last two classes. Aizawa-sensei said it was an ambush, and the last person he called was Tsuna. They seem pretty close too, since they call him as part of their family."

"Family?" Denki repeated.

"Tsuna is part Italian." Yuuga informed. "In Europe, dysfunctional family is quite famous, especially among the organizations. A friend is a family to them. It's like being adopted. For example, Aizawa-sensei adopted Tsuna, so they're father and son. Mic-sensei is a friend of Aizawa-sensei, so Tsuna calls him uncle. This Reborn must be someone who Tsuna really trusts that he even introduced him to Aizawa-sensei and Mic-sensei that they considered him as a part of their family."

"A family in everything but blood." Momo clarified, understanding what their classmate means to explain.

"But why did he went to class?" Kouji asked softly, curious.

"Mic-sensei asked the same thing, why Tsuna attended class. Apparently, it wasn't Aizawa-sensei's idea. Tsuna wanted to pull the thought out of his mind for a while because everytime he thinks of what happened, he cries." Mina added, looking down in sadness.

"It must have been really hard on him." Rikidou uttered. "He's one of those who can't sit still when someone needed help. If he was permitted to go, he could've flied to Italy himself."

"But it was an ambush, right?" Denki asked, looking at them. "Tsuna must have thought that it was impossible to do it, that's why he cried."

"Last moments are the most painful things to forget." Fumikage voiced.

"He must have been really frustrated that's why he and Natsu fought." Eijirou sighed. "I heard that guy helped Tsuna with the operation too."

"It was just yesterday that he was smiling." Mashirao sighed.

"Maybe we should do something that could at least cheer him up?" Ochako suggested, earning their attentions. "Even like a small thing? Whenever we're upset too, he's there to light up the mood for us. Like when I was worried for what I've done in the operation. Instead of texting me, he called me and tried to cheer me up."

"It's a good idea." Mezou seconded. "Even for a little, he'll appreciate it."

"Besides, without even saying it, Tsuna will know what we're doing and he'll leave it to that, ribbit." Tsuyu supported. "He'll tell us when he's okay."

"But we have to treat him normally, guys." Tooru informed. "According to Mina-chan, Aizawa-sensei asked Mic-sensei not to treat Tsuna like he's fragile. Remember when they talked a little? And Mic-sensei laughed? It will make Tsuna happy that we won't treat him like he's breakable."

"Even I will get pissed off if someone treats me like that." Minoru huffed, surprisingly intuitive. "Let's talk to him like nothing happened and be sensitive of some topic."

"Seconded." Hanta nodded.

"I'm gonna compile the topics he missed today." Tenya said, after a long time of staying silent. "Those who want to help, you can give your own notes that I couldn't write."

"I should make him a tea." Momo informed as she stood up. "To at least comfort him."

"I'll help." Kyouka offered, following in. "Maybe we can add honey? He likes sweets."

"Oh. I baked some cookies earlier. I'll give him some." Rikidou thought.

"Good idea." Kyouka nodded.

The three, who didn't say a thing, stayed at their spots. They know how hard it will be for Tsuna. Shouto knows that the brunet will have a hard time adjusting, since his parents had died not too long ago. Izuku's mind went back to how Tsuna had been cheerful the other day with his fedora, saying something about a friend of his who likes espresso, and he knows that Reborn is that person. And Katsuki felt stupid for not being able to comfort the other.

When Tsuna came back with Natsu on his shoulder and still wearing his glasses to hide his puffy eyes, they greeted him normally. Kouji offered the brunet a help to clean up the bento boxes, he was graced with a small smile and a nod. While they wash up, Tsuna praised the teen for being able to talk with the birds for their performance. Kouji blushed, and internally marvelled how strong the brunet for not letting his sadness get mixed to his everyday life. The brunet bid them 'good night' and went for the elevator.

It didn't take minutes for Rikidou, Momo and Kyouka to receive one message each, containing a simple 'thank you'. All three felt their insides warm up with the thought that they were able to make the brunet feel calm for a little while. When Tenya delivered the lessons the brunet missed, Tsuna thanked him wholeheartedly with a small smile. The class president noticed the dark room and the cookie on the right hand.

Izuku took it to himself to get Tsuna every morning for the morning run, and they'll be joined by Eijirou. At first, the brunet looked at him funnily and confused, but Izuku was able to persuade him. The greenet took note of the man with a black suit and fedora among the pictures in the wall. While running, Eijirou will ask pointers from Tsuna about fitness and things. At class, the teachers are indifferent since they do not know what is going on. When some teachers call out for him to answer, it's either he apologize for not being able to answer or get Shouto's or Momo's answers. He thanks them afterwards. Yuuga will sit beside him in the couch though, silently giving solace while watching a foreign news.

For the whole week, the class makes effort of making Tsuna smile for at least twice a day. Hanta will try to crack a joke with Denki, while Minoru will say his desire to peep on the girls, which took Tsuna's effort to stop him with a small chuckle. The boys will forever thankful of Minoru's pervert tendencies. Whenever he's alone and broading, Mashirao or Mezou will try to distract him by asking him of what he knows about fighting style. In some ways, they'll catch him smiling gratefully. In physical activities, Katsuki will be the one to guard over him. He will be very explosive when the teen suddenly broads, causing the latter to wince and try to placate the blond, who seemingly has a grudge on him when he's not paying attention.

The girls have this little mission though. They'll bake and make sweets for the brunet with Rikidou. Sometimes, Mina will enthusiastically offer it to Tsuna, which the latter will gladly receive. Tsuyu will give it to him personally with a silent comfort. Ochako will have her own gimmick, making a bag of chocolate float and let it land slowly in front of Tsuna with a small parachute, it makes the brunet snicker. Tooru will make it appear like magic with her invisibility. In some ways, Kyouka will be able to make him smile by asking him how to play video games. Fumikage will join them. They're dubbed as the emo group by Hanta and Denki while laughing whenever they play. They get roped to it, eventually.

"How do you even understand that?" Katsuki questioned to Tsuna and Yuuga who were watching an Italian news one evening, almost marking the fifth night of the week that they're progressing with their mission in making the brunet cheer up.

"Ha?" Tsuna asked, caramel hues getting prominent within the brown colors. "We listen."

"It's Italian." The blond emphasized. "We don't even speak Italian."

"My name is Tsuna." The brunet shoots off in no accent Italian. "Nice to meet you, Katsuki."

Red eyes stared at him blankly.

"Bakugou, Tsuna introduced himself and said it's nice to meet you." Yuuga translated with his French accent.

"You know what, say vaffanculo." Tsuna coaxed, turning the TV mute and facing Katsuki.

"What?"

"Vaffanculo." Tsuna said again, glancing at the amused Yuuga. "Va like vanilla in English, fa like fat, 'n' sound like nao, cu that is pronounced like cult, and lo as lo and behold. Vaffanculo."

"What does it mean?" The other questioned.

"I won't make you say something you won't like, Katsuki. Go on." The brunet coaxed.

The blond looked at him suspiciously, before saying it. "Vaffanculo."

The brunet's face lit up, making most of them hopeful. "Oh. Nice one. A little burn on the accent and you'll get it right. And it means 'fuck you'."

Those who were listening gaped while Katsuki barked a laughter with Yuuga.

"My Italian uncle used to say that to learn a new language, learn to say all the bad words first because when you use it on daily basis, you'll eventually want to say something in the same language." Tsuna shrugged before smiling angelically. "Say crepa, like cre-pa."

"Crepa." The blond obeyed then raised a brow. He honestly had it easy with how the brunet teach him how it's said. "It means?"

"'Drop dead'." Tsuna snickered, causing the two to laugh again. It lit up the whole dorm! "Try morire. Mo like more, and re-re."

The others whispered the word, trying it.

"Morire." The blond said calmly.

Caramel eyes sparkled in mischief. "Yell it."

"Morire!"

Tsuna hummed, impressed. "It means 'die'. Try bastardo. Bas like basalt, tard like tardy, then instead of 'e', end it with 'o'. Bastardo."

"Bastardo?" Eijirou tried out of curiosity, gaining Tsuna's attention. "Is that it?"

"Yup! Nice one."

"That was my line!" Katsuki shouted, making the redhead cackle. "Bastardo!"

Tsuna laughed, which took all of their attention. He was laughing at last! "That was so accurate!"

"It means bastard." Yuuga relied with an amused smile. It made Katsuki grin wider.

"Should I stop them?" Tenya asked to Momo, wincing although relieved that Tsuna had laughed. "I don't even know who's the bad influence anymore."

"Teach me something. A sentence." Katsuki demanded.

Momo giggled at the preening look on Tsuna's face after the demand. The teaching was effective. "Not yet. The others are enjoying the lesson too."

"Sono imbattibile. Sono like the thing beside me, im like important. Ba like Bakugou, ti as in tin then bile like bill-y. Sono imbattibile." Tsuna minced patiently.

"Sono... im... Imbatti-bile?" Izuku tried.

The brunet smiled encouragingly. "Almost."

"Sono imbattibile." Yuuga spoke perfectly.

"Eh! Not fair, Aoyama-kun!" Tooru protested.

"It's fine. It's fine." Tsuna mollified with a calming smile. "Take your time. Just think of how I pronounced the examples."

"Sono imbattibile." Momo tried, getting a nod of approval.

"Don't hurry, everyone." The brunet advised as he gets up. "We have an hour and a half more before I go for the hospital. We can practice more words if you want."

Along with the fact that Tsuna started to smile wide again, they discovered how good he is in teaching. Every time they're free, they'll try to ask the brunet of some sentences, and they'll be accommodated patiently. It's like he didn't mind at all. Bonus, it's a good distraction for him. In less than three days, they can actually form Italian words and laugh when they stumble on how to pronounce them.

One time in class, during their homeroom, they were so absorbed to their language lesson with Tsuna that one of them answered Aizawa-sensei in Italian. The teacher could only stare at Tooru, who blushed heavily in embarrassment, in confusion. But instead of feeling of wanting the earth to eat them whole, they kinda felt like they did the right thing when Tsuna started to laugh uncontrollably, and kept apologizing for laughing. They've never seen Aizawa so grateful to them.

Sunday evening, they were all doing a small meeting of their progress with their little mission while Tsuna was out when someone rang their doorbell. All of them eyed each other before Katsuki stood up. Izuku did as well as the others tensed up a little. No one uses their doorbell. The blond went for the door with Eijirou while Izuku is behind them. When Katsuki opened the door, he was greeted with a tall man in three piece black suit with a fedora.

Katsuki felt his body tensed up when onyx eyes stared directly at him. For starters, he looks like a foreigner. But there's this something about the man that makes the blond's danger warning goes off. It's not really the prestine suit, is it? However, at the same time, he felt, not look, familiar. Like he knows him somewhere.

"Good evening. Is my figlio here?" The man asked.

Katsuki's mind translated the word immediately. "Who's your son among us?"

"Tsunayoshi Sawada. Byakuran said he lives here, in the Hero Alliance." The man answered. "I want to see my son."

"His father is Eraserhead." He stated.

"Kacchan." They looked back to Izuku who is staring at the man with wide eyes. "Let him in. He knows Tsuna."

"Are you sure?" Eijirou questioned in a low voice. "He looks dangerous."

"He's one of those people in the wall of photos." The greenet replied in the same voice. "If he does something bad, we can just do something. It's one against twenty."

"Fine." Katsuki relented and opened the door. "Tsuna will be back in minutes. He went to the hospital to eat dinner with Aizawa-sensei."

The man nodded as he comes in.

All of them moved to the dining room since they ushered the man to the living room. Momo offered tea and snacks that the man did not decline. Kyouka helped her do it. They were all in high alert, waiting for something. It didn't take long for them to hear the familiar humming outside.

All boys incredibly tensed when the man turned to the door. Ochako and Tsuyu went for the door to alert Tsuna. Within seconds, the brunet bursted from the door, frantic. When his eyes found the man, he froze for a second before he teared up.

"Why..." Tsuna croaked as tears stream down.

"Is that the first thing you'll greet me with, Dame-Tsuna?" The man said as he stood up. "After so long of not seeing you."

"Give me-" A sob. "-a break. I lost both of you."

The man's eyes softened. "I know."

Tsuna sobbed and tried to walk, only to stagger. "God."

With big strides, the man got into the brunet's space and had a hand on Tsuna's arm to keep him steady. He sighed. "Clumsy as ever."

"I'm sorry."

"It's endearing, don't worry." The man waved off before putting a hand on Tsuna's locks. "You were his last thoughts before he died."

Tsuna whined as if in pain and sobbed harder. The Class A felt their hearts clench in pain with how hurt the brunet looked.

"He wanted to come back and have you welcome him." The man sighed. "But given the circumstances, he knew he couldn't. Your song really warmed him. He passed away with a smile."

"You two were my suns." Tsuna sobbed as he kneeled with the man's guidance, completely heart broken. "He was... Just there. He was never angry when I pull him in. He laughed. He loved my gifts. I-I thought I could surprise him again with my Christmas and New Year's gifts. He stayed even if we just met. God."

"You just really love confessing to me, don't you?" The other hummed, gaining a glare from the brunet. "What? You just did."

"I hate you."

"Oh no. You love me." The man picked Tsuna up in his arms before giving a genuine smile that dazzled the audience. "I'm home, boss. This is the only time I'm saying this, but I missed you too."

The brunet chuckled and tried to brush his tears away before beaming. "Welcome home, Reborn."

They gasped.

"Such a crybaby." Then 'Reborn' peered at them. "Can someone guide me to his room?"

"But Tsuna-"

"He passed out." Shouto cut off to Mina. "Bakugou."

"On it, Half 'n half." Katsuki scowled before going for the elevator. Reborn followed.

"Chaos." The man bid before the elevator door closed with a sleeping Tsuna in his arms.

"How could that happen?" Denki questioned, in shock and confused. "Reborn died on Monday morning. And it's coming to a week since then. And now, he's here?"

"No no." Momo shook her head, a hand on her chin. "Tsuna said he lost both of them, and the two of them were his suns. It means both died, and another... came back?"

"See! It doesn't make sense!" Denki protested.

"But it must be it." Izuku seconded, eyes narrowing as he analyzed. "He said Tsuna was the last thoughts of the other him, and he died happily after hearing Tsuna's voice. Maybe a split personality? Or a quirk?"

Silence.

"Let's just be happy that Tsuna is gaining closure." Tsuyu voiced. "Even if we kept distracting him, it doesn't mean he wasn't hiding his own pain. Who knows what he's thinking whenever he's alone in his room. He needed this, and we should understand."

"Tsuna will explain things to us." Kyouka added. "He always does."

The Class A agreed to wait.
