Percy is back at the table on the bridge, going through what files they currently have on Loki. He could feel everyone else's thoughts in the back of his mind as he tried to concentrate on the file.
From Coulson, there was excitement, mainly because he had just asked Captain America to sign his trading cards.
From Sitwell there was concentration on running the face-trace, although there was something dark lurking underneath that Percy hadn't liked once he had met the man.
From Director Fury there was. . . nothing, which wasn't really surprising. Fury had been teaching himself how to block Percy out.
And from Captain America, there was mild amusement. . . and also concern. But not for Coulson.
For Percy even being here.
Percy rolled his eyes and returned to his files.

Steve was trying not to think about the kid sitting at the table behind him as Coulson continued to talk about his trading cards. He didn't know how Fury could allow someone that young to be a part of SHIELD. The kid should be going to school and living his life. Not entrapped in a war between good and evil.
Coulson was a good distraction from that.
He was saying, "I mean, if it's not too much trouble."
Steve responded, using that to get his mind off of the kid, "No, no. It's fine."
"It's a vintage set," Coulson added excitedly. "It took me a couple of years to collect them all. Near mint, slight foxing around the edges, but. . ."
At that moment another agent called to Director Fury cutting Coulson off, "We got a hit. Sixty-seven percent match. Weight, cross match, seventy-nine percent."
"Location?" Coulson asked as the kid set down his files and moved closer to them.
"Stuttgart, Germany. 28, Konigstrasse," the agent said. "He's not exactly hiding."
"Captain," Director Fury said, "you're up."
Steve nodded and started to leave.
But then, "And Agent Jackson?"
Steve paused suddenly curious about what the director was going to say.
"You're with him."

Preparing for a fight was far easier than anything else Percy had done in his so far short life. Although with the way Captain America was looking at him, Percy thought that maybe Fury shouldn't have sent him on this mission.
Percy could hear the other man's thoughts.
And they told him that Captain America was going to talk to him about Percy being a part of SHIELD sometime during this mission.
Percy shook his head and leaned back in the Quinjet, against his bike. Nat and their pilot would drop him off a little ways away from the Stuttgart Museum and then Percy would make his way there.
While Captain America dropped in from above.
Percy was there to make sure Loki wouldn't get away this time.
And he was going to enjoy it after what the god had done to him during their last confrontation.
He glanced over at Natasha as she said, "10 seconds till your drop point, Percy."
Percy straightened up and climbed onto his bike.
"Ready when you are, Nat," he said brightly.
She glanced behind herself and said, "Good luck."
And then Percy was on the streets of Germany.
He drove through traffic, using his telepathy to track Loki down.
As he turned a corner, he saw him.
The god was standing in front of a crowd of people, with four of him materializing to block any escape.
Percy gritted his teeth together as Loki blasted away a cop car with his scepter. It flipped end over end.
"We're nearly above you," Natasha said over comms. "Keep an eye on him."
Percy nodded and stopped where he was.
He couldn't get any closer without Loki noticing him and tipping the guy off that SHIELD was coming.
Percy turned his gaze back on what was happening with the crowd of trapped people.
His superhuman hearing managed to catch exactly what was being said, even from the distance he was at.
The god shouted, "KNEEL!"
Percy narrowed his eyes, wanting nothing more than to punch the guy for daring to force those people down.
They kneeled and Percy continued to watch, silently, as Loki grinned and began to speak, "Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel."
Percy snarled at that, his anger building.
He began to search for certain things he could throw at Loki once Captain America had stepped in.
Percy almost missed that an older man had stood up. He turned his head and focused back in on what was going on.
The man spoke, "Not to men like you."
Loki nearly sneered, "There are no men like me."
"There are always men like you," the old man said.
Percy narrowed his eyes as Loki seemed to chuckle a little, "Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example."
The scepter began to glow, and Percy's eyes widened. His bike was moving before he even could realize that he had put it into drive. That old man would die if he just stood aside.
Percy realized that he wasn't going to get there on time. He started to reach out with his mind when, "We're on top of you. About to drop Cap."
"Hurry!" Percy hissed into the comm. "Loki's about to. . ."
He never got to finish what he was going to say because at that very moment Captain America dropped out of the sky just as Loki fired and energy beam at the man.
The blast ricocheted of Cap's shield and slammed back into Loki knocking the god down.
Percy let out a breath of relief as he slowed down his approach.
Captain America began to walk towards Loki, saying, "You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing."
Loki stood up, "The soldier. A man out of time."
Percy grinned and slammed to halt on his bike just behind Loki as Captain America said, "I'm not the one who's out of time."
From above Cap, the Quinjet appeared. One of the guns pointed at him.
Then Natasha spoke over the loudspeaker, "Loki, drop the weapon and stand down."
"You should really listen to her," Percy spoke up, causing the god to spin around to face him.
Loki stared at him for a moment, before turning back and firing two blasts at the Quinjet. It maneuvered out of the way, giving Captain America time to throw his shield at the god and Percy to start moving towards him too, as everyone else scattered.
Loki tuned then and fired at Percy, causing him to flip and just barely dodge the blast of energy.
He didn't really want to get hit by that again, after all.
While Percy was dodging that blow Cap was being tossed to the ground.
The other man threw his shield again, with Loki batting it aside.
Percy moved towards the god again as Loki knocks Captain America down again and points his scepter at the man's head.
"Kneel," the god hissed.
Captain America flipped and knocked him into the fountain with his leg, "Not today!"
And then Percy was there.
He stepped in towards Loki as Cap called to him, "Kid, stay back!"
Percy didn't know whether to feel insulted or annoyed.
But he still raised his hand's and focused his mind on the cars and other heavy objects around him. They began to rise off the ground.
Loki looked around, taking in the rising heavy objects for a moment before turning back to Percy.
"I should have chosen you and not Agent Barton," he said, a cruel look appearing in his eyes.
Percy gritted his teeth and everything he had lifted flew through the air directly towards Loki.
The god dodged several cars, actually leaping on top of one and then slammed to the ground near Percy.
Percy backflipped away, dodging the gods scepter which had been aimed at him.
It was then that Captain America hopped back into the fight, grabbing a hold of Loki from behind and attempting to twist and pin him to the ground.
The god kicked Cap in the chest and sent him sliding close to where Percy was crouched.
Percy glanced over at the super soldier who had a tight frown on his face.
As they started to turn back to the god and face him head on, a sudden sound came from above. Percy twisted his head and spotted something very familiar.
There was Tony Stark, in his Iron Man armor.
He blasted Loki back into the ground and then landed right in front of the god. He stood up straight and activated every piece of weaponry the suit had.
"Make your move, Reindeer Games," Mr. Stark said.
Slowly Loki put his hands up into the air and his armor materialized away, which made Percy narrow his eyes a little as he stood up from his crouch as well and moved over to Mr. Stark to glower down at the god.
"Good move," Stark said, disengaging his weaponry.
Percy moved closer pulling out the cuffs he had been given to put on Loki. He kept his eyes firmly fixed on Loki as Captain America came up and stood next to Stark.
"Mr. Stark," he said.
"Captain," Stark responded.
Then Stark turned back to where Percy was testing the cuffs firmness and said, "Sharkling."
Percy rolled his eyes at the nickname.
But he said nothing about it and continued to check the cuffs until Natasha came up from the Quinjet.
