Quick Note: This takes place as an alternative to the scene in season 2 where Luther throws Five over the side. I know there are a few stories similar to this one that were a prompt, so I wanted to give a shot at the prompt.
Viktor is Vanya here, since he had yet to come out, but I am planning on some one-shots of him properly being who he really is.
I do not own UA in any way, I'm just a big fan of the show
Luther threw him over the railing of the stairs.
In that moment that Five fell, he didn't see his large brother. He saw his father.
"Again Five." He would say as he shoved him off the roof of the building.
He would test the speed of his blinks in different situations. Timing and location. In Five's exhaustion and panic, his blinks would take longer.
"Five!"
He heard someone's panicked voice the moment he crashed into the ground. The back of his head had smacked the floor, which caused stars to dance around his vision. He thinks he let out a sound, but right now everything was ringing.
He rolled over onto his side, finding Klaus and Allison there. Allison ran her hands over him, looking for injuries. He was too stunned still to push her away.
To be completely honest he almost wanted to curl into her. He was tired. His glazed eyes looked around. Allison and Klaus were looking at him with concern. Diego and Luther were arguing, though he couldn't hear them. Vanya was at the second floor railing, watching these "siblings" of hers.
How nice it must be to not remember anything.
"Five-y…" Klaus was saying, placing a hand under his chin to pull him to look at him. His hearing was coming back, but he was still numb to his surroundings.
"He's alright, right?" Diego was asking.
"I don't know," Allison answered back, honestly. "I'm pretty sure that clap sound was his head hitting the floor."
Diego whipped his head back towards Luther. "What were you thinking?"
"That he would blink!" Luther said, in a manner that suggested it wasn't the only time he had stated this. "He always does."
"Guys!" Vanya yelled, as she made her way down the stairs. "None of this is helping."
Five struggled to stand, hands were gripping him by the shoulder and arms.
"I'm alright," he heard himself say, not convincingly.
"Are you sure?" Allison asked, lowering herself slightly to look at his eyes.
"Yes." He started to shrug her off, causing her to step back. "We need to get back to figuring out what to do."
He started to walk past everyone, and Luther stepped up to him, starting to spew a version of an apology. He cut him off.
"Look Luthor, I understand everyone's a little edgy, considering we keep trying to make things right. I don't need you to…" and that's as far as he got. He had turned to look at his giant brother, and everything started tilting.
"Five," Luther said sharply, as if he was trying to startle him out of his daze and get his attention.
Five stepped back to keep his balance, against the illusion his eyes were creating. Everything was moving too fast, spinning and tilting. He glanced around at the concerned faces and outstretched arms.
"I…I can't seem to…"
That was all he could get out before his knees buckled on him.
Luther reached out to grab him before he met with the floor again. He lifted him up in his arms, searching his face for any sign of consciousness. The others gathered around him.
"Five," Diego put his hand on his older-little brother's cheek. He wanted to yell at his bigger brother again. But that wouldn't help anything right now, and Luther looked like a broken puppy holding the results of his actions in his arms. "Let's get him back upstairs."

Five dropped into his room, stumbling into his bed. He cut it incredibly close to the ground that time. It was the 18th time he had fallen. He stopped jumping and had gotten to the point where he was being pushed. He was mentally and physically exhausted, his body beginning to feel like it was being tugged on in all different directions.
He couldn't take too long, however. His father would be waiting for him, and it would just be nothing but berating him.
He blinked himself back up to the roof, holding back the sting of tears that threatened to drop from his eyes. His father didn't even look up at him as he was continuing to write in his book.
"You're slowing down," He criticized. "You didn't teleport until the second floor."
"I'm tired," Five said simply. "I don't have another one in me."
-Please don't make me do it again. Not again-
"This will be the last one."
-Not again-

Vanya moved a few things on the couch so Luther could lay Five down. She looked down at the unconscious form of her brother. She understood he was, in a way, much older than the rest of them, even though he appeared younger. At this moment, he looked like the child his form physically was.
She noticed a redness and swelling behind his ear. She reached to touch it gently, running her fingers over it.
"Is there any ice?" She asked. "He's got a lump here."
Luther turned away at that in frustration as Klaus made his way to the fridge. Allison sat down on the coffee table and leaned over Five, feeling for what Vanya was referencing.
Five seemed to wince at the touch and groaned.
"Not again," came out in a whisper.
The siblings exchanged glances and looked back at him.
"Five?" Allison said softly, placing her hand to his cheek.
"Please…" He seemed to gasp. "Don't make me do it again…"
He knitted his eyebrows as he turned away from Allison's hand and then back into.
Klaus handed Vanya a bag of peas, which was all he could find in the freezer. She reached over Allison's arm to place the bag. Diego sat on the arm rest at Five's feet.
"Do what again?" He asked no one in particular.

You said that 8 times ago," Five was careful not to let his voice reveal his emotions.
"Reginald," Pogo said from the doorway behind them. "Let the boy rest, or…" He let the idea trail off.
The older man looked between the two and finally relented.
"Fine. You may go rest," Reginald permitted. He held out his book for Five to take. "Put this in the study before you do so."
Five felt the clench around his heart release, as he walked over to take the book from his father. As he took it and turned away, he felt hands grip his jacket and shoulder, pulling him backwards and sending him over the edge once more.
He screamed.

Five jerked up suddenly, crying out and blinking from the couch.
The Hargreeves panicked and glanced around.
He reappeared at the railing, landing and stumbling over.
There was a loud crashing sound before everything went black again. This time not because of how he landed, but because he was in and covered by Luther's arms.
Five blinked in the light as he took in the scene. The railing above them had a hole where Luther busted through. He then had turned himself under Five to take the impact of the fall. He looked at his "big" brother and gave a small smile.
"Thanks…"
Luther sat up, hardly phased and studied Five, looking to see if he had been hurt any further.
"I'm sorry," He told Five.
Five nodded at the apology. "It's alright."
"Five. Luther. Are you alright?" The others had made it down to them.
"I'm fine," Luther told them.
"I have a little bit of a headache, but I think I'll be alright," Five said, honestly. Klaus handed him back the bag of peas for him to press against his bump.
"Were you dreaming?" Allison asked. "Between the talking and the jump…"
Five nodded and left it at that.
"Why don't we take a few moments to relax and maybe grab some food," Klaus pitched. "Tacos? Who could go for some tacos?"
They started to collect themselves and head out the door.
Diego offered an arm to keep Five steady. The Boy considered, then took it.
"That wasn't a dream, was it?" Diego asked. "It was a memory."
Five took a moment and looked at him, nodding slowly. "I see I'm not the only one."
"Not by far," Diego reassured him. "You should hear some of the weird shit Klaus cries out."
Five kept in step with him as they headed out.
At least he wasn't alone, so there was nothing to be ashamed of.
And that's all for this one! Let me know what you think or if there is a "Five Whump" prompt you would like to give me!
