Hi! Thank you if you made it this far. Thank you for the support and suggestions. This came from someone on "Archive of our own."

"...was gonna ask if u could wrote one where allisons at one of her meetings in series two and five blinks in like beaten bloody or something..."

Well here is my attempt and hopefully you like it!

Dallas, 1963

Five stumbled through an alley, diving behind a dumpster. He peaked back out to the road. His whole body was trembling from exhaustion.

Or was it from blood loss?

Suddenly he saw them, the three blond men, coming down the alley. Five pressed himself, as much as he could, between the dumpster and the brick wall.

If only he hadn't left Diego in the asylum.

If only Luther wasn't a stubborn ass.

Those were the only two siblings he could find so far, before the new Commission agents tracked him down again.

He heard their steps coming closer and he looked ahead of him at the next road, his exit. He could see a hardware store that was closed (which made sense, it was getting close to night), and could see a salon with people inside.

He just needed to get in there and he would be safe. Commission never makes a scene, and a room full of people was definitely a scene.

He pulled the last of his energy to focus into this blink.

"We do what we need to do," Allison was saying.

"Right, we plan the sit-in," Ray said, smiling at her, "and we stay strong."

There were mumbles of agreements and exchanges of glances around them.

Suddenly there was a familiar, bright flash behind her, towards the back of the salon. Everyone turned as papers blew around and a battered Five appeared as the light faded.

"Five?" Allison inhaled

Everyone looked in shock at this "school boy", but she ran to him.

His eyes scanned the room and fell on his sister as she was rushing to him.

"Allison," he breathed out in relief, giving a smile as he took a step towards her. Then his legs gave out and he crumpled to the floor.

There was a collective gasp around them as she scrambled to his side, as did Nate, Ray's best friend. Ray came forward, but remained standing behind, taking in the scene.

"Five? Five!" She felt like she was reliving the scene, which was years ago for her now, when he collapsed in the attic.

"Allison, you know this boy?" Odessa asked her, as Allison was desperately gathering Five's crumpled form into her arms. Odessa dropped down near her.

Allison pushed back his hair, assessing any damage to his head and face."He's my brother," she answered, too busy focusing on Five to see the looks everyone gave each other.

Nate was helping Allison check Five over. "It looks like he was cut on his stomach and his arms. Like he was trying to block his attacker, who had a knife," Nate informed her.

And I can't just bring him to mom. Allison thought, biting her lower lip.

"We need to call an ambulance." She looked back at the people gathered around them.

There was an awkward pause.

"Allison," Ray said, carefully. "How is it going to look that we have this injured white boy here with us?"

"I'm afraid he's right," Odessa said softly, looking at "The Boy" with sympathy, "There's a good chance we'll all be looking at the inside of a cell if the police are called."

Allison looked at them, holding Five closer to her, protectively. She looked back to Nate. "Can you help him?"

He looked to Odessa, who glanced at the back room, and he nodded, "the table in the back. We can lay him there. Dottie?" He turned to a lady who was closer to the door. "I may need your help if the boy needs stitches."

Dottie glanced around, but seeing the pleading look on Allison's face, she nodded.

"Here, let me help," said Curtis, who is one of the more quiet men, stepped forward.

Allison opened her arms as Nate and Curtis gingerly picked Five up and Odessa led them towards the back.

Allison got up wrapping her, now empty, arms around her and felt a hand on her shoulder stopping her from following. She turned and looked at her husband.

"Your…brother?" Ray asked her suspiciously.

"He's one of my brothers," she confirmed. "We were all adopted."

Ray studied her. She had, on occasion, mentioned her brothers and sister. That they were adopted by an eccentric man. That was about it. She didn't have anyone at their wedding.

There was a low hum of the rest of the people in the salon talking all around them. Ray positioned himself in front of her.

"He appeared out of nowhere." He said it like a fact, but the question that was clearly on his tongue lingered in the sentence. "Actually he appeared out of a bright light."

Allison just shrugged, not sure what to say. She looked towards the back room, biting her lower lip. She hadn't told anyone about her ability. In fact she hadn't even used it just yet, if she even still could after healing.

She turned back to her husband. "All I know is my long lost brother is here. He's hurt. I need to be with him…" she gave Ray a look, and swallowed hard.

Please don't make me say it.

Ray nodded and moved out of the way so she could join the others in the back.

Dottie was putting a bandage over an area she had just stitched in Five's side and Nate was checking his pulse when Allison walked in.

Curtis was cleaning some things, and Odessa was dabbing a cooling cloth on Five's head and face.

By the immediate silence Allison could tell they were just talking about her, or at least the situation.

"How is he?" Allison asked.

"He's going to be in pain," Nate said, honestly. "But he'll make a full recovery."

Allison walked on the other side of the table to get a better look at Five.

He always looked so small in these moments. She took his hand in hers and ran her hand over his forehead and cheek.

"I just got you back," she whispered, looking for any sign of consciousness.

The others in the room glanced around at each other. Odessa stepped closer and put a hand on her shoulder.

"He seems like a strong boy," she said, encouragingly.

"He is," Allison responded. You don't know the half of it.

Ray looked around the room. "Why don't we give them some space. We'll take care of the rest of the group."

The others left the room, but despite his words, Ray stayed at the door. Allison kept her focus on Five, his hand clutched in hers.

"Al…" he started.

"We need to take him back with us," she interrupted.

"We will," he said. "But when we know it's safe to. We can't risk being accused of kidnapping or hurting him."

I'll get us out of it, she thought.

Five groaned and then let out a pained whimper.

Ray stepped closer to check on him from the other side as Allison leaned to get a good look at his face.

"Five?"

"Allison?" Came a low inquiry as he weakly opened his eyes. He winced as he tried to shift.

Allison smiled down at him. "I'm here. I'm right here." He looked over at Ray and looked back at her, worried. "This is Ray, my husband," she explained.

He tilted his head slightly. "How long have you been here?"

"2 years."

He gave her a pained look. "I'm sorry my calculation was off…"

There was something in his voice. "How long have you been here?" She asked him.

"Two days…" he closed his eyes again for a moment.

"You came right from the apocalypse?" She whispered to him, unsure if Ray heard her or not.

"There's another…" he whispered back. "I don't know how to stop…Commission sent…"

"You need to rest," Allison told him.

"We're going to take you home, son," Ray said softly to him, eyeing Allison. "You'll get better rest there."

Allison looked at her husband and smiled, her eyes grateful.

"I…we need to…"

"We'll do everything we need to once you have a chance to rest."

He didn't respond, as he lost consciousness again.

Ray walked by the door, "I'll ask Curtis to help us move him again."

She gave a smile, feeling comfort that she will be able to care for her brother.

"Allison?" Ray stopped at the door and turned around. "'Five'… is that short for something?"

"I'll tell you everything. I promise."

I hope you enjoyed the read!

Not going to lie- I may need to write a new fanfic of Ray and Allison being Five's "parents". Seemed like an interesting idea.

As always- if you have an idea- please feel free to submit!
