"Could you possibly write something where Five's severed arm is acknowledged? Maybe someone (Diego/Vikto?) could run up to him and help him tie it off while the fight is going on"

This turned into a short one-shot as I couldn't really think further than the scene itself, so I was a bit maintained.

I still hope you like it though!

"Do you think you could keep it down to a dull roar?" Klaus was saying.

Five looked down onto the lobby floor from the landing of the stairs above, realizing pattern in the stars on the floor matched all the drawing and the tattoo.

"Hey! I found the sigil!" He called down to them. "It's on the fl-"

Suddenly there was a shattering from the skylight in the lobby as one of the guardians crashed through, whipping its sickle side of its chain out at Five, slicing his arm right off.

Viktor got chills at the scream that he heard Five give. It's hard enough to mentally remember that he wasn't a child, due to how he looks and the fact that they lost the years to grow up with him. Hearing Five cry out in his 13 year old voice ripped at Viktor's heart.

Diego glanced up the stairs, then to Viktor, and then to the Guardian making its way towards the group.

"Go!" Diego commanded, nodding his head towards the stairs. "We'll cover you!"

The guardian whipped the sickle side back out again, but the others stepped in the way as Viktor dashed for the stairs. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Klaus drop.

He stumbled up the stairs to see part of Five's arm on the ground, and the rest of Five leaning up against the railing, desperately tugging at his tie.

Viktor ran over and dropped down to his knees in front of him, also gripping at the tie to help pull it off.

"Five, hold on," he told him. "Let me help." He could see a glaze over the eyes of his little-older brother. "Five!" Viktor yelled sharply at him.

At that, Five looked at him, realizing he was there, and trying to help him. "Help me tie it," he said. "I need to slow down the bleeding."

Viktor nodded and swallowed, gripping the tie and wrapping it around his arm.

He could see the adrenaline from the moment was wearing off, and Five's eyes were growing distant.

"Stay with me!" Viktor demanded, pulling the tie as tight as he could make it, before wrapping the neck of the tie around Five's arm again for good measure.

"The sigil…" Five was saying.

He must be going into shock, Viktor realized, finishing off the second tie.

"Come on." He helped the boy to his feet and started for the stairs.

Looking down they could see Luther, being summoned by an injured Klaus, throw the guardian.

They started down the stairs as Luther and Sloane got a final, touching, moment.

"The sigil," Five called out. "It's on the floor. The stars are the points!"

"Quickly children! Step on a star! Ben, my boy, now is your chance."

The Guardian started to stand, putting itself back together, just as Klaus also jumped back to life.

Viktor left Five on the steps, counting the stars and realizing that Five wasn't needed. He stepped on a star and looked over.

Allison started forward but was stopped by Reginald. "No, not you." His instruction sounded more like a warning.

The guardian was getting closer.

"Number Five!" He called to him. "Hurry!"

Five struggled to stand and eyed the star, his eyes also moving to Allison.

He made the decision and blinked forward, completing the design.

And then pain…

Thank you for reading! Please feel free to suggest things for me to write! I still have a handful of suggestions I'm working through.
