It was as Team Avatar was leaving the town itself was left in uproar. All because they had under estimated just how much Toph should have been taught about how to act within a town beforehand. Everyone included Aang and co was amazed at just how Toph acted within this town. It was shock to them all but for one person however the shock was not so much over what she had done but merely Toph herself.

This person just look at Toph and looked as if they had seen a ghost. Even though this happen to be the very first time they had seen her in person. Her image however had been burned into the their mind though it was not as her current age however. Their image of her was based off pictures that they had been shown seven years ago. One which even though it was now pretty old pictures the connection and she looked very different now. They were just able to tell it was her as they were the girl that had screw up their life

The person was Xin Fu who clinched his fist incredibly hard still recalling that day even now. His desire to make money by building a underground pro earthbending arena came to screeching halt. The floor of his still being built arena seem to collapse only to reveal that there was tunnel underneath them and all them were arrested on the spot. The trial was a joke as rich people with money, influence, and connections are able to get want they want yet this was also how he managed to get off. The others that worked for him not so much but not Xin Fu cared. Thanks to the Bei Fongs not paying enough attention to their own kid, he almost got life in prison without the hope of parole.

Six years later, someone that owed him a favor visited him in jail with some good news. His trial at least had been thrown out because corruption was discover when the judge and his lawyer took bribes to give whatever outcome you wanted and make it look realistic. Of course the Bei Fongs were not mention in the details when he sentence was over turned but he knew it was them along.

So finding out that the Bei Fong's precious daughter had been alive all this time and also seem to be in perfect health as well really made his blood boil. Her being with the Avatar got him thinking as well about a stories that were floating around. The Avatar should be looking for a Earthbending master having managed to find one for Waterbending.

Asking around about what was going on in this town, Xin Fu learned that Toph was a earthbender herself. Thus he managed to put two and two together coming to the conclusion Avatar's next master was more then likely her. Why unless would he have someone like her around with him. Causing the ex-con girded his teeth as he knew could not have been just some helpless blind girl. What in the world would a blind girl doing underground that far away from her home in the first place though that argument almost seem to work for a moment. Having caught everyone off guard yet his inability to explain himself properly just cause to be turned against him in the end

Toph was clearly capable of looking after herself and easily getting around as she was not receiving no help for those with her. That scowl he had gain on his face quickly change into a smirk as he realized something. Her parents never seem to expect the fact that their daughter was dead even know he heard stories of how they were searching for her. Since she was with the Avatar it was very clear they still had no idea where she was at the moment.

Xin Fu thought that if he could get Toph himself and then offer her back to her parents for a huge sum of money. Using their own kid as bargaining chip and then as possible bonus he could sell off the Avatar to the Fire Nation. After all how hard could it be to capture a group of kids even if one of them was the Avatar.

A few days later…

Xin Fu was done getting his stuff together as he might have been wondering around after being release from prison. Not really have a place to stay that long as even seven years later the effect of the Bei Fong's ruining his life was still bothering him. Certain business would not hire him and others would seem to fire him once they learn of his past.

Getting ready to leave he had another run in with someone he did not expect to see or even deal with ever.

"Hey you, answer my question" a Fire Nation girl demand.

Looking her over he noticed she was not a typical Fire Nation person either who are rarely seen outside of the cities their nation has taken from themselves. It was also clear that she was not typical military type either as it was just her and two other girls. Then realized another rumor running through the Earth Kingdom must have been true. That there was another Fire Nation noble running around looking for the Avatar, saying it was the princess who was now after the Avatar. That she was nothing like her brother or that other guy people say cause the moon to vanish that one night a few weeks ago.

"What's the question" Xin Fu asked as decide to gauge how different she was from the story of her precursor.

Azula the Fire Nation Princess was not in the mood for this as she had been attempting track the Avatar and his group since they first met in Omashu. However the trail had gone pretty cold ever since that one night where their mongoose dragons fell into a pit. She had also abandoned the highly advanced Fire Nation tank train she bought as well.

Coming across an merchant crying about his produce being stolen again and strangely enough cursing the Avatar for it. She had come to this town where she overheard them talking about it first happening. This person before her was the first that she had come across since arriving in town.

"I am looking for the Avatar and possibly their earthbending master as well" Azula said.

Xin Fu and Azula then went about talking for some time as each saw a chance to use the other to get to what they wanted.
