Badgermole Toph

When Toph was learning how to earthbend from badgermole something happened. When she was about leave a rock fell from the ceiling bashing her in the head it knocks her out cold. When she wakes up without her memories and comes to think she is herself is a badgermole. Seven yrs later a certain bald head boy manages to find her by accident.

Katara was lying there on the ground with her brother unable to really move not just because of Ty Lee's chi blocking but the shocking events that just kept happening to them one after another. She had heard the stories from Aang about how Toph was when he had first met her but did not think that she could really be like that at all. Even if she was seemingly raised by badgermoles she was still human so she could not have been that how Aang told her.

Though looking at how the younger girl truly looked like she was merely an animal and nothing more. The look in her eyes she see notice the two of them there one the ground. Toph had claimed she was hungry while they were flying and she was told to wait as they could eat when they landed. However she just kept asking until Aang had to step in and get her to stop.

Katara had heard about this look she had from various people back in their village in the South Pole. She was looking at them as if they were her friends, the blind girl was looking at them as if they were her prey. Ty Lee was also seen in this same way as not only was she viewed as threat but also possible food as well.

Then again she saw again that she thought she would not see yet again. The closeness of it to the water tribe siblings brought back the memories of that one time. Hands being burned for Katara and the cries of his sister for Sokka. While Aang once again not really aware he was firebending as the only thought on his mind at the moment was return Toph to how she was before. Not leaving her in this feral state again as she had made too much progress. He was not going to let just regress fully into how she was went they first met again.

Managing to dodge her strikes as she focus her attention on him rather then their friends still lying on the ground.

'I wonder if this is what I am like when I enter the Avatar State' Aang thought.

That was state where he was not fully in control of himself and Toph at the moment did not seem to be fully in control either. This was not something she willed herself into as it was something someone else had forced her into. A state brought about through her body reacting to an outside force. A defense mechanism almost thus in that sense making this no difference then how the Avatar State was for him currently.

However thinking to the times that he was brought out of the Avatar state. Such methods probably would not be that helpful for being Toph out her feral state. So what ways would he used to get Toph back to normal before she does something she would not have wanted to otherwise.

Merely letting Toph tire herself out was not a option either as if she pass out like this what if she got stuck in this state as result. Getting pinned to the ground as Toph snapped at him he recall what happened during their first encounter. What seemingly cause her to stop attacking like she nothing more then wild animal.

Waiting for the right time and hoping this would work. Aang bashed his head against Toph's as hard as he could. Causing Toph back off of Aang and stumbling backwards before falling to one knee. Holding where Aang had managed to strike her.

Raising her head to where he noticed he was, Aang notice that for some reason that tactic had worked and she was back to how she was before. While still hold her head with one hand she used to the other pound the ground trapping Aang.

The Water Tribe Siblings able to fully move again were about to rush to his aid thinking Toph was still feral but stop them. He saw that she was back to normal but was preparing just in case he was wrong.

He was as his Earthbending master were drag him over to her to yell at him for what the hell was that head butt was for, why they were on the ground, and what happen to them being attacked.

Wanting to know what really happened as everything was a blur for a awhile as she could not really recall her most recent memories from the moment they were attacked until right now. However before she could get her answers from Aang the two were split apart as there were some other things that Katara and Sokka wanted to discuss with the two themselves.
