Chapter 43: An Entertaining Party
"I didn't think I would be good at this game." I said.
As time was winding down for me to head to the party, I was playing a game on my phone (something different) called Random Dice. I discovered this game and I thought why not try it.
It's kind of a tower defense game where you use these dice to attack monsters which are also dice depending on the type of dice you have. Any type of dice has a spell that deals damage to those monsters and any monster killed can be entered into the enemy's turf. It's really fun. I have been enjoying it ever since I downloaded it. Which was a couple of minutes ago.
To be honest… I know I focus on Pac-Man so much, but it was time for me to get a little change of scenery and I have a phone that has apps on there in which…

W-Why are you looking at me like that?! I'm not lying at all! All I ever did was read books— I even read stuff online. Sports… well sometimes, but not a lot of it.
I have lots of time to spare outside of reading books every week. Not every single day because mostly I would just read books for fun. It helps me be intelligent also.
Anyway, it was surprisingly me alone several minutes after I got home from taking care of things. I didn't know where Mom was going. She told me it was a secret for me. I didn't want secret surprises in my mind, but I just accepted it afterwards.
I just hope it's not anything too embarrassing. I don't want to steal the limelight from anyone in the Royal Rally.

Speaking of anyone, I want to ask Blue something. Because Gemma caught my attention about Blue by having friends that are not Lucas or Xavier.
I stopped playing my game for a second and went through my messages. Well… Mom, Dad and Blue are who I have so far. I haven't gotten Xavier or Lucas. I just went ahead and texted Blue…
"Hey. Besides Lucas and Xavier, I heard from Gemma that you also befriend other people. Is that true?"
I honestly remembered their names but I just don't want to say them at the moment. It'll have to wait until once we arrive at the Royal Rally. But I don't know who they look like. Or Blue didn't even mention them.

Well, mainly because important things were getting in the way.
This feels like to me this is Primp Town all over again. Ok, I don't know why I'm bringing up Primp Town, Raffina, Amitie, Arle, Ringo, etc. That's thousands of times I've done that. Maybe I should just move forward already. Although these are memories of course. *sigh*
*NOTIFICATION CHIME*
"Yes. I actually do. In fact, I got their phone numbers. It's just that I focus more on both Xavier and Lucas. But what Gemma said is true. Their names are Cheyenne, Wendell, Aidan, Juniper and Emily. Xavier and Lucas get along with all five of them actually. Especially myself."
"Oh. Ok. I really thought it would only be Xavier and Lucas that you are friends with." I texted.
Hopefully once school comes back, we'll be able to attend altogether. Otherwise, it'll be back to how it all was for me. Being alone. It's understandable that it was intentional because I didn't want anyone knowing my secrets.
*NOTIFICATION CHIME*
"Xavier also informed me that all five of them are coming to the party. Probably because of the rematch between Candace and Gemma."
Huh. I guess a lot of people have an addiction to this stuff. I'm glad I didn't get dragged into it unlike what happened a couple of days ago.
*NOTIFICATION CHIME*
"I can introduce them to you if you want. They aren't weird or crazy. Except for one, but not all the time."
"That would be appreciated." I texted.
Looks like my reputation is going to be growing and growing. But… It looks like more people are going to be swarming in on me too. Hopefully I don't go overboarding it.
*NOTIFICATION CHIME*
"You know, when you ask that, it feels like you are going overboard when it comes to making friends."
Did she just see right through me?!
"I guess you can put it like that. I didn't want to be considered a celebrity since it's making me blush nowadays."
*NOTIFICATION CHIME*
"I honestly don't know why. I thought you were gonna be more of a recent person that is trying to reach the higher rankings in the Royal Rally. But it doesn't concern me now that we're friends. Anyway, I have to take care of some things. I'll see you at the party."
"Ok. You too."
*sigh* Looks like I'm gonna have to give other people a chance here instead of Blue. She shouldn't be the only person I'm talking to But I haven't got in contact with both Lucas and Xavier. On the flip side, I'm starting to experience some confidence that I have with everyone. Maybe Ciel's words were spot-on.
*DING* *DONG*
I heard the doorbell ring as I went downstairs to grab the door.
I know, everyone. That was a crazy amount of thoughts I've put inside my head. It's to help me figure out what I want to say. Otherwise, I would've said some things that I shouldn't have said without putting too much thought on it. It would actually be a bad look for me now that I'm thinking about it.
I was now downstairs getting the door and as I opened the door…
"G-G-Great Timing… my shoulders hurt." Mom said as she was looking exhausted carrying the bags.
But I didn't think she was exhausted.
"Oh really? The bags are filled with light stuff." I asked with a sweatdrop as I was looking at the bags.
"S-So you've noticed, huh?"
"Yup."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Really?"
"Really."
…
"Really?"
"Are you gonna keep asking that?" I asked with a bigger sweatdrop and looked annoyed.
"Ok. I've had my fun now. Just teasing you made it better." She said as she acted normal and went inside.
Wowie. What a shocker.
"Where did you even go? I was getting even more curious since you told me it was a secret."
"Well… I suppose I'll tell you. I bought you some nice clothes, and some face paint because I'd figure I'd help you look nice for the party."
"B-But that means everyone is going to be spreading love rumors! My goodness, this is really going to be the end of me!" I said with a shade of blush.
"Oh relax, Kaze. I just want you to look nice. You are going to a party after all so I'd figure I want to be creative with your appearance."
"C-Crud…"
"And besides, Anyone can be creative during parties right? I thought I would love to go above and beyond."
"But that's also getting ahead of ourselves at the same time."
"No it's not. Just trust me, Kaze. I'll help you look very cool and stylish.
"*sigh* Ok… I don't want to be a party-pooper anyway." I said as I didn't want to make this worse for myself.
"You'll be fine. We only have a couple of hours before I drop you off, so I'm gonna prep you up in a little while."
Looks like people are going to start taking notice of me. This is going to be so embarrassing… but I just need to have fun at the same time.
"Did Blue text you or anything?" Mom asked.
"Well I texted her first. I just asked her if she had any other friends besides Lucas and Xavier. She told me she interacts with five people."
"Oh, that's nice. Are they all going to the party?"
"Yes. All five of them actually."
"That's cool. Everyone would love to see your cool side."

"I… I don't have a cool side." I asked with a sweatdrop.
"Yeah. Another joke. But, hopefully they can interact with you. That way, it's not always me you can talk to. Even though I want to talk to you as always."
"I agree. I might be able to get my hands full with the amount of people I have on my side. It is quite the experience for me so far." I said.
"It sure is. It'll get even better at the party."
"I honestly don't know how this is going to go but…"
"You'll be fine. I just know it." Mom said with a smile.
"R-Really?"
"I-Is this ok? I'm not into fashion, but… are you sure about this?" I asked as I looked at myself in the mirror.
As we were minutes away from heading to the party, Mom showed me in the mirror what I'm going to be wearing. I had a face painting of light-blue moon crescents with purple stars and clouds on the sides of my cheeks, arms and legs. I was also given a crescent moon hairpin. For clothes, I had on a sky-blue shirt with black stars on the bottom, white jean shorts with a sky-blue letter K on the side, similar to the other one I had on at the party at Suzuran and in school, and white ankle boots with sky-blue laces on each of them.
"Trust me, It'll work. Everyone's going to love your outfit, especially Blue. I believe this best fits you." Mom said.
"You sure do have a lot of fashion sense, don't you?" I asked.
"Not really. I can look fabulous… sometimes. People at work tell me that too."
"I see… Well, I guess this is ok for now. I haven't thought about what I was going to wear anyway. Th-Thanks."
"Anytime. I know you haven't gone to parties before but hopefully you'll get comfortable with the amount of people that are there."
Hopefully. Because this is going to be even worse for me if I'm surrounded by lots of people complimenting me so much. More like, I'm gonna be a celebrity which I don't want.
"I agree. Anyway, we really should go. I don't want to be late." I said.
"Ok, let's head out then."
After I grabbed my envelopes for both Candace and Gemma as well as my money to enter, we headed straight to Vander Hearts Street with about a few miles to go. I'm a little nervous about this since there's gonna be a lot of people in attendance. I'm just hoping my heart doesn't go beating fast. I just want to talk to the group that was there for me since day one when we first met.
But currently, as Mom and I were driving…
"I see something's getting you addicted over there." Mom said.
Yup… I was still playing that Random Dice game.
"I couldn't resist. It was getting so good and I thought about trying something new for once."
"I see. It's nice to see you trying some new things on your phone."
"Th-Thanks. I was thinking about it recently. But I didn't think this would brighten my day."
"So what you're currently doing over there brightens your day, but having many people squeal crazy about your cute appearance doesn't?"
"I-I told you it doesn't. Sure I'm open to anyone that wants to talk to me and I'm very reliable to others, but if you're talking about fashion, I'm not into that sort of thing. I… just want to be myself."
"True. It's just… hopefully you'll have fun. I know I'm not gonna be in it, but I'm sure you'll do something out there."
"Well I'll know when I get there. I haven't been to a Royal Rally before so hopefully it'll be interesting to watch. But now that I think about it, I'm surprised that Blue was even… into this sort of stuff."
"Me too. For a girl that does the similar things that you do, I'm also surprised that she is friends with Candace. Is she a tough nut to crack?"
"I haven't got a feeling of her yet, although I know what her personality is like. We've only met one time so I'm sure the second time will be the same story." I said.
"Understandable. But I'm asking, is she hard to get along with?"
"Well based on what I remember, Yes it was easy, but I don't know if I'm gonna get another pass on this one because I shouldn't invade her privacy. Blue gets along with her, Lucas… I don't know if he does get along with Candace, and Xavier seems to give Candace problems due to him being a firecracker and jumping the gun. If that's what Blue said."
"Is that so?" Mom asked.
"Probably… and I think that issue might continue heading to the party and Royal Rally. Hopefully this doesn't vex Candace once more. Even though Gemma was the one vexing her due to her latest appearances."
"Well I'm sure these two won't spark a melee since they are heated rivals after all."
"No no. Gemma told me she was never hostile to Candace. Gemma's actually the opposite of Candace."
"Ah. I see. Sorry, I was just daydreaming about that Royal Rally poster and I thought it was gonna get intense between the two. But even still, I'm very shocked that you are gonna recruit these two on your team. Those two are famous, y'know?"
"Well I have to trust in my gut. After all, I think those two are the chosen ones and I think I could have Blue talk it out with her and maybe I could pass this letter to her. I think I can do this solo with Gemma as well."
"*sigh* I hope you get good results, Kaze." Mom said.
"Yeah. I hope so."
After driving a few more miles, we've now arrived at Vander Hearts Street where the party was literally around the corner. As I was looking out the window, there were tons of people there. Lots of them were probably the same as my age, and some of them were older than me.
"Wow… lots of these people didn't forget about this party." I said.
"I can see that. Most of these people are Gemma stans I think." Mom said.
"Candace wouldn't have appreciated that." I said with a sweatdrop.
"But they still are older than you. Are you gonna be ok with this?" Mom asked.

"Well, yeah. Now I'm thinking they may not know me, so thankfully I can join my time."
"Oh so you've switched to cool, calm and collected Kaze." Mom said with a smirk.
"A-As long as people around me aren't attempting to make love towards me. Or are becoming fans of me. Otherwise, this could be a huge turn of events."
"I'm just pulling your leg. Anyway, just have fun out there. Text me when it's all over."
"Alright, mom. See ya." I said as I got out of the car and was walking straight to the party.
As I was heading there, it looked like there was a line ahead and it looked like there was a gate along with a scanner which confused the heck out of me.
So… no one is in charge of the entry? This is… odd. Now I'm starting to feel nervous since I'm the only person here.
…
But at the same time, I'm looking at other people having romantic relationships with each other, which also makes me feel comfortable at the same time because of the fact that I don't have to worry about finding a boy to date. Even though I don't feel comfortable dating a boy.
Dating aside, I'm just gonna have fun. Just like I did at the Suzuran beach party.
I waited in a single-file line as I was ready to donate my money for entry and get checked to see if I'm old enough to get in. And luckily I saw a sign that says people aged 16 and older are allowed entry so I should be fine since I am 16.
It feels like elementary school the more I'm looking at this line. I felt myself blushing a little bit because of this. I know there are some boys and girls standing in front of me but it feels like we're still young again.
But knowing that this is my second time attending a party in just one month, I'm starting to get this feeling that I'm really having a good time. This is obviously a good vibe for me. Otherwise, I would've been on the wrong side of where I am today.
After waiting a couple of minutes, I was the next person to enter the party. With my £11.33 in my hand and my two envelopes to give to Candace and Gemma, I was getting ready to make my way inside… or rather outside since it looks like a stadium or a carnival but it really isn't. I'm really about to head inside something very special which is pretty cool.
I wonder how this works.
As soon as I inserted my money inside the booth…

I shielded my eyes to prevent myself from a laser that was pointing at me. I had no idea what it was for, but I then stood straight to let the laser detect me.
What was that all about?
I let that laser… thingy— more like a scanner I believe, detect my whole body and I looked a little confused about this whole situation of getting inside. And at the same time I looked a little nervous.
Moments after scanning my body…
*AGE 16! YOU MAY PROCEED! HAVE FUN AND PLEASE BE VERY CIVILIZED TOWARDS OTHERS!*
The gate then opened, allowing me entry inside the party. But as soon as I was getting ready to move…
*I LOVE THAT PURPLE PONYTAIL AND THOSE CLOTHES OF YOURS!*
I knew something like this was going to happen! I knew it!
"Th-Thank you! Whoever said that!" I said with blushed cheeks.
I now made my way inside the party where there were lights, tables where people are sitting, a stage, food, and even games. It seems like everyone is enjoying their time together which is quite the advantage for me. I can easily take this time to enjoy the moment.
I explored the area to see what there is for me to do. I know I am more worried about Candace and Gemma right now, but I'm really eager to learn about this place and the events that are happening.
People are really having fun here and are not worried about me. Despite that unexpected event, this gives me the time to…
"HA!"
"*gasp*"
I felt something touch my waist and I panicked very hard.
And it was not something, it was somewho.
"*giggle* Y-You got scared?!" Xavier said, coming from behind.
"A-Anyone can be scared of what you did! W-Why did you do that anyway?!" I asked, looking a little upset.
"Cause I was on my way to get me something to drink and then I saw your face so… I figured you might get a welcoming surprise."
"Well someone's waiting for me to kick him if that's the case." I said with a huge sweatdrop.
"Ok that would be a little unexpected. You came here by yourself?"
"Yeah, I just got here in fact. I wanted to see what it's like until you out of nowhere popped up."
"Oh ok. Well we went down lots of tables back. We just trying to find our peeps."
"Your… peeps?" I asked, looking confused.
"You know… well Blue haven't told you we have other friends, right?" Xavier asked.
"Y-Yeah."
"Well I'll introduce them to you. Just follow me real quick. I have to get me soda and then we'll get right to it."
"Ok. If you say so."
I followed Xavier so that he could grab himself something to drink. I still couldn't believe why he scared me like that. It almost felt like I was gonna get abused for a second.
Dear god… my heart was pounding from that.
"Anyway, you look pretty cool and cute. You did this yourself?" Xavier asked

"T-To be honest, My mom planned this but she was only doing the face painting and all that other stuff. I just picked out my clothes." I said. "I-I'm glad you like it."
God… I don't know why I said that. But…
"But… I think it's better than your outfit."
"Eh… I don't know about that, ma'am." Xavier said with a disgusted look.
What he was wearing was a black shirt with a purple car that is above the fire underneath and a fiery font that says "You'll burn faster!" all in the middle. He was wearing black cargo pants and black and orange sneakers. I liked what he was wearing, but I'd rather seek revenge for what he did to me minutes ago.
"Says the person who scared me earlier." I said with a smirk.
"Tch! Alright… fine. Since I'm looking at it, I guess it does. But I look cool too and you can expect nothing more from me."
"Alright. I don't have lots of fashion sense but what matters is that I like our outfits."
"Yeah. It may be better than everyone's clothing. It's honestly debatable though since everyone loves to fight over who has the better design. I wouldn't go on the offensive though because that's how people are going to spark beef with you."
"Yeah. But I'm surprised that Gemma is not uncomfortable with Candace intimidating her. She's more like a rookie trying to win her first championship or something."
"Yeah, you could say that again. Candace can be a tough nut to crack when you're trying to win her respect, but when you give her the attention she deserves, she'll notice you as a fan which is going to affect her."
"But… I still don't see why she shows her disgusting personality towards Gemma. I feel like any more of this would lead to mayhem between the two."
"Well… Gemma's not the violent type, I'll give it to you straight, but there were some events that made Candace angry towards her which you may have already remembered."
"Yeah but… doesn't she have a history with other people?"
"That… I do not know. I think it's only Gemma that she has history with."
"Oh. Then I have a strong feeling that this is going to last forever." I said.
"Well I think it'll be all over soon… but Candace has a lot of spirit so she isn't gonna back down from doing these types of stuff." Xavier said.
We now have reached the table where there were sodas and juices.
"I can also get you something if you want, Kaze. It's on me." Xavier said.
"Uhh… Th-Thanks, but I'll pass. I've eaten and drank already." I said.
"You sure? You staring at the types of drinks there are." He asked as he grabbed a cup and a soda and started pouring it onto his cup.
"They taste good, but I don't want anything. I don't want to have my stomach full."
"Alright. They all are free so it's not too late." Xavier said. "Man, I'm trying to find Cheyenne but all these people here make it so complicated to find her."
"Well, what does she look like?"
"She has long black hair, similar to your mom but different, brown eyes that almost look blue as hell, and yeah."

"You see her?"
"I think you might be… talking about her? The one with the long black hair and blue jean jacket…"
"Oh yeah that's her! Geez, how'd you figure that out?!" Xavier asked.
"I honestly didn't know. I was randomly guessing and I'm seeing lots of people with lots of long hair."
"Dang… well… I'm gonna introduce her to you but I'm also gonna give her a welcoming surprise so… let me do the honors."
"O-Ok."
I then followed Xavier to meet up with this Cheyenne girl. I didn't know what he was about to plan, but I was predicting he might do the same thing that he did to me.
Still a shocker that he scared me earlier. But I wonder what he's gonna do this time.
A few more miles in, we were getting closer to that Cheyenne girl. Xavier was getting ready to prepare for a welcoming surprise.
"Are you sure your plan is really going to work?" I asked.
"Trust me." That was all what Xavier said.
He then inched closer to the girl who is not knowing that Xavier is behind him and focusing on her phone. Then out of nowhere…
He was pouring a little bit of his drink on that girl's hair.
"Wha…"
The girl then turned around for a second and saw Xavier…
*WOOSH*
Then she swung her arm aggressively, aiming towards his stomach…
*BUMP*
But as soon as Xavier avoided her attack, he bumped into me and I made sure he didn't stumble.
"G-Geez!" I said to Xavier while looking surprised at his motives.
"Dude, why do you always have to be an asshole?!"
The girl yelled as she was getting a napkin and started rubbing her hair with it.
"Don't you want a welcoming surprise?" Xavier asked the girl.
"No! Not with you just did! Don't be surprised if I get payback for what you did."
"You having trouble finding us? We've been looking for you in this big area." Xavier said.
"*sigh* I was but now I just gave myself up and sat here. Grr… now I have to clean my hair because of you!" The girl said. "And who's that next to you?"
"Oh yeah… this here is Kaze. Me, Lucas and Blue have all met her recently and we promised we wanted to keep her company. Kaze, this is Cheyenne. She can be a complete hater, but she's mature and nice at the same time."
"Pleasure to meet you. Sorry if I snapped out of nowhere like that. This idiot here can be a huge pain."
"It's fine. I know it was unnecessary, but I kinda liked how you were being aggressive towards him." I said with a small smile.
"Don't do that. She still missed me." Xavier said with a sweatdrop.
"Umm… n-no problem. Was he doing this to you?" Cheyenne asked.
"It was in a different way. I got spooked." I said.
"Oh. But you know, befriending someone who looks… cute is like finding the rarest treasure chest or something."
And… Here goes another one. Saying that I'm cute.
"I mean, duh, look what I set up. But you can thank Blue for getting this girl to our side. No wonder you can make friends on your own." Xavier said.
"I know how to make friends, you dumbass." Cheyenne said in an annoyed tone. "I had some in middle school. But they've transferred. Still a shame how they've left."
"I mean at least you got us. Hell, if I'd ever transferred, I'd still would've asked you to not remember me. It's like a wife watching her husband off to war."
"Yeah. I see where you're coming from… but my past friends were much like me. They were like big sisters to me."
"Yeah. Maybe you might get lucky. It would be best to travel the world if I were you."
"No, it would still be too much. I wouldn't want to do that anyway." Cheyenne said with a sweatdrop. "Anyway, speaking of friends, do you know where they are?"
"We are all the way in the back. I can lead you there if you want. Just to get you out of your boring environment."
"Yeah, uh… what you said." Cheyenne said with a bigger sweatdrop.
"Sheesh. About time. Now the gang's all together. Well plus one."
"Who are you guys rooting for in the Royal Rally?"
"I'm voting for Candace." Xavier said.

"I honestly don't know. It's a tough decision in fact." I said after thinking about it.
"W-Why? It's not like no one's gonna hate you for voting for whoever, right?" Cheyenne asked.
"No no. It's just…"
"Well we just heard from her that she just met Candace and Gemma both face-to-face. Both of them were nice to them."
"You met both of them, Kaze?!" Cheyenne asked.
"That's right. But now it seems I have to sacrifice a friendly relationship because of this heated battle between the two. But I don't know if I can keep up this momentum much longer."
"Hm… You know, Candace has always been tough
as nails against Gemma, no matter how many times people are rooting for Gemma. And Candace's hatred for Gemma has always heated up…" Cheyenne said while thinking about it.
"I mean it's Candace. She's the one that contains a lot of power." Xavier said. "But I wonder if things could go into an unexpected outcome if Gemma beats Candace. That's the question I never thought about."
You know… I was wondering that too.
"Candace shows a lot of emotion when other participants try to ruin her fame by performing better and interacting with others. It seems like she's just trying to claim Liverpool and make lots of people look at her. I wish to hear what others think about this."
"Yeah, I don't want to hold up the others. We need to get a move-on." Xavier said.
"Ok. Let's go."
The three of us… Well technically Cheyenne and I, since we both were the ones that were having trouble finding Blue and the others, followed Xavier to the spot that they were in, trying to get through lots of people that were in the way. This is a really big place. Really.
And not only that, I'm shocked that there's a lot of people in attendance. All for two celebrities that have been talked about for so long. Of course, I am staying focused on getting these two to join me on the search for the stones but with that many people here, It's going to get harder to reach them.
I'm just hoping I can stay ahead of the game. Blue and I are the only ones that have signed up to become HGUs and now we need three more. Badly.
Hopefully Candace doesn't turn her back on me. According to Xavier and Cheyenne, she can be a tough nut to crack. And I think I might find Gemma easy to work with. Since she is friendly and all.
"So, I was wondering…" Cheyenne said, trying to grab my attention towards her. "Were you the only person that had no friends? Like, at all?"
"Well… I had my reasons for not having friends at all." I said to her. "Let's just say… they are the ones I wouldn't recommend listening to as it'll get kinda boring."
"I see. You know, now that I think about it, it seems we both are on the same side."
"But, I thought you said that you knew how to make friends."
"Yes, I know how to. But sometimes… I get this strange feeling that minutes after I start having nice and friendly conversations… it's just me being back to square one. It almost sounds questionable."
"Questionable? What do you mean?"
"I just think of myself as… not entertaining— I can be mature, but I feel like everyone sees me as… boring. Kinda."
"Oh… well, I don't think that's true. You are who you are. And I don't think that you're boring either, although we haven't got to know each other in terms of information about ourselves."
"*sigh* I was just so glad I was able to make friends with Xavier and the others. Although Xavier can be a clown these days. Along with Wendell."
"I suppose you've got history with those two." I said to her.
"Yeah. We were friends at age 13 or 14 if I may recall. He used to be the annoying one at school, but somehow I've gotten used to him amid his change of personality. But his antics never stopped there. Stuff like that still pisses me off in a way."
"I understand your drama with him. In fact… I've kinda had that similar drama when I was younger… WAY younger in fact."
"Oh really?"
"It was… *sigh* It was really despicable. I couldn't stand the bullying I've gone through in the past."
"When did that happen?"
"2nd grade. However, I can't tell you right now since it'll put so much stress on my body."
"Wow… boys are so annoying, don't you think?" Cheyenne asked with a sweatdrop.

"Well, I would say yes, but I don't really put too much thought into it."
"Ok… *sigh* The more I'm looking at you, the more that I'm thinking that you should've been an anime character or a participant in the Royal Rally. It's just… I don't know how people don't find you attractive."
That made me blush… a little bit.

As Xavier led us to a huge rectangular table, there were 6 people sitting at the table. There were three boys and three girls.
There was Blue along with Lucas, a boy who looks almost similar to Lucas in a way but with normal brown hair, another boy with curly blonde hair and blue eyes, almost if that hair was a wig or whatever, a girl with long brown hair with blue eyes, and a girl with short black hair that looked… kinda… I don't know how to put this… goth-like… I'll put it that way. She had brown eyes as well. This is what happens when I don't learn about new things, not that I'm a big fan of fashion or anything.
"Alright, y'all. I brought our pets back. They've been wandering around like hyenas." Xavier said.
W-What?
"Do not make this sound so stupid." Cheyenne said with a sweatdrop.
"Geez, Cheyenne, we've been looking for you! Where were you?" Blue asked.
"I was gonna ask the same thing. This area is so packed that none of you said anything or texted me."
"Because I thought you were gonna search the whole entire area." The blonde-haired boy said.
"I did. And guess what? No result."
"You can say she's still Cheyenne. Doing things that Cheyenne does." Xavier said.
"Shut up! Ugh. Look, just either one of you text me next time. Or rather… I'll ask either one of you."
"My phone was gonna die so I could've taken over." The brown-haired girl said.
"Damn, Emily! Your phone always dying! What's up with that?!" Xavier asked.
"My bad! It's just…"
"Just that you always watch anime, 24/7. I can smell that." The black-haired girl with a smirk.
"God, you guys are all over my head!" Emily shouted in annoyance.
"Emily, it's a fact." The blonde-haired boy said. "I can see right through you. In fact, everyone knows your motives.
"*sigh* Forget it… I'm not gonna bother it."
She seems to be going through a lot, I assume.
"Wait, you don't have a portable charger with you? It's also something you can bring with you." Lucas asked the girl.
"No. I don't own one. Of course, I charge my phone all the time, but I've never discovered anything like that."
"Well, maybe it can resolve your issue, but for one condition. You have to charge that as well." Blue suggested.
"I didn't know you were into technology as well, Blue." Emily said.
"I-I've been into technology before. I just don't talk about it that much."
"Ok ok ok. Anyway, Everyone except Blue and Lucas, I've brought in a new friend that looks like the perfect Royal Rally participa…"
"Hey." I whispered to Xavier, then gestured to him not to take it a step further in which he complied.
"…scratch that. A new friend that you might like. She's someone you'll want to talk to. Her name's Kaze. Not Kate. Kaze."
I'll give him that one since he made my name clear for everyone.
"So y'all better show this girl some respect, Wendell."
"Don't do that." The blonde haired boy said with an exasperated look. "Don't put this on me. I know how to talk to girls."
"I'm just playing. Chill. Anyway… *cough* Go ahead, Kaze. Introduce yourselves to these idiots."
"Xavier…" Blue said with a serious look on her face.
"Unbelievable." I mumbled. "It's nice to meet you all. I've heard about all of you and I hope we can get along well. I'm very open so please don't be afraid to talk to me anytime."
"Mmm… ok, ok. I see. I see. Alright… name's Wendell. I'm, of course, Xavier's right hand man and best friend. Yeah, I hope we can get along well."
"That's more like you're gonna embarrass her with your antics." The black-haired girl said.
"You know what, I'ma throw that phone all the way into your home planet!"
"Dude, that's not my home planet!"
"Yes it— alright, you are gonna make this worse… you know what, why don't you introduce yourself then? To her?"
"Mmm… *snickering* Ok let me stop goofing off. How do you do, Kaze. Name's Juniper Richards. People call me June— not the girl from Little Einsteins. I hate when people call me that. I don't mind you calling me that or Juniper. Whatever floats your boat. But all in all… it's nice to meet you."
"And we call her Jupiter as…"
"It's not Jupiter! Oh my god, y'all are annoying." The girl named Juniper shouted as she was lifting her shirt and cutting Xavier off.
"Th-That's what I call her. Don't get it twisted." Xavier said to me with a cheeky smile.
"More like you are bothering her." Cheyenne said with a sweatdrop.
"Shut up! Juniper's also my best friend. She tends to be half-girly and half-tomboyish. We both have a strong relationship with each other."
"I-I see…" I said with a sweatdrop.
This seems to be a… weird, but very interesting group.
"Nice to meet you. My name's Emily Mitchell. I'm very open to talking to others as well." The brown-haired girl said.
"Oh yeah my last name is Underdown if you were wondering." The boy named Wendell said.
"*sigh* If everyone's saying their last name, then my last name is Reyes. Cheyenne Reyes." Cheyenne said.
"And Uh… yeah, my name's Aiden King." The other brown-haired boy said.
"Wait… are you two twins? You and Lucas?" I asked.
"Well… you could say that we're twins and all, but no we weren't born together." The boy named Aiden said.
"I'm glad you brought that up because I wanted you to know how insane this is. Knowing that we look-alike but we are not actually twins." Lucas said.
"You are not alone, I was shocked that this actually happened. Aiden meeting his doppelgänger. You know how insane that is?"
"It's pretty shell-shocking." I said after nodding.
"You don't sound too surprised." Xavier said.
"What? No, I am surprised." I said. "It's just… I was being quiet."
"Oh. Well, tell everyone your last name. Everyone shared their last name. Now they want to hear your last name."

"Ok… my last name is Mastuzaki."
"Matsu… dang that's a mouthful." Wendell said, looking shocked.
"Yeah, it really is." I said with a sweatdrop.
"I wonder if it's Chinese or something." Aiden said.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." Emily said. "There are a lot of us British people here with… English names. I guess we learned something rare for once."
"Well my name is all Japanese. I didn't know how that happened in the first place either."
"That's because people be watching anime 24/7." Wendell said. "And come up with names like those. I know I watch anime all the time, but we were born and raised in the United Kingdom. They gotta come up with more common names."
"But it's just rare. And that's fine with me." Blue said.
"Yeah, not everyone has a common name." Lucas said. "Maybe it's much to the parents' liking."
"I know that but still."
"It can't be just common names." Blue said. "It can be anything as long as it's not… weird and it's in English."
"Well… I guess you can put it that way."
"Alright, everyone! Welcome!" I heard one person say on the mic. "Please have a seat at any table! We will get started shortly! There is food and drinks on the other end of the area so if you are hungry, it is free so please get something right now before it will be too late! Also, t-shirts and clothing cost £7.36, so bring in that amount of pounds if you want to purchase clothing! Again, we will get started shortly so take a seat at any table!"
The three of us (Me, Xavier and Cheyenne) now sat in an open chair at the table. I sat next to Blue (I wonder if they kept that spot just for me.) while Xavier sat next to Wendell and Cheyenne sat next to Lucas and Emily.
"Look at this! We've got a full house this evening!" Wendell said. "Just the way I like it!"
"Looks like someone's happy. Even though this table sounds quiet." Cheyenne asked.
"No it's not. We were just talking to one another about some things."
"Like what?"

"J-Just the Royal Rally." Xavier said.
"That's all we could think of." Aiden said with a sweatdrop.
"I didn't have anything in my sleeve." Emily said.
"Doesn't this Kaze girl look a little bit like Candace?" Juniper asked.
"U-Uhh…" I wasn't sure how to respond to that until Blue stepped in and said…
"No, Juniper. Their appearances and personality are different. She's the more laid-back one. Candace just acts like a princess with lots of pride in this event."
"But I still don't like her cringy-ass princess laugh." Juniper said with a sweatdrop. "It's like the tone sounds like she became exhausted or something."
"Wow… that's cold, dude." Xavier said while shaking his head.
"W-What? It's a fact. And I still stand by what I say no matter what you say. If anyone in this "knights of the round table" can do a better laugh than her, then it's gotta be Emily and Cheyenne."
"I… I would try, but it would still feel embarrassing at the same time." Emily said.
"And… "Knights of the Round Table"? We're at a square table. And imagine if Candace was here right now. She would definitely insult you for that comment." Cheyenne added.
"Pfft! I have respect for her, yes, but that laugh… uh-uh. Too cringy." Juniper said.
"See, now I think most of y'all are siding for Gem." Wendell said.
Gem? Oh… Gemma.
"I don't honestly know." Blue said.
"I think I'm gonna have Gemma for this."
"R-Really?! Oooh, you freaking traitor! I knew you had that in your sleeve!" Xavier yelled at Lucas.
"My bad! I was thinking about her and maybe I can give her some life and… you get the idea!" Lucas yelled back.
"Wow, so you really gonna vote for that overrated blondie?!"
"I mean… yeah!"
"I'm done talking to you. Yup. Shutting off. Goodnight. Goodbye." Xavier said as he was attempting to leave by getting up from his seat, but then eventually faked it afterwards.
"I thought you were a Candace stan, Lucas." Blue said.
"Yeah, what made you become a Gemma stan all of a sudden?" Aiden asked.
"I liked Gemma. I never looked away from her. I just wanted to balance things so that I can lay off Candace for once."
"She's gonna come after you next just for that remark." Xavier said.
"No no, I always have respect for her. I just have respect for both."
"Well, I can respect that at the very least." Blue said with a small smile.
"You siding with him?!" Xavier asked Blue, looking shocked.
"I'm not taking sides. I'm just saying that I respect him for having respect for both and just trying new things."
"Well, technically it's not trying new things." Cheyenne said. "It's just… he's trying to vote for the opposite, I guess."
"You guess?" Wendell asked.
"I mean… Tch! Never mind."
"Kaze, what do you think? Don't tell me you're gonna join Lucas on this too." Xavier said.
"Oh, Kaze. We haven't paid much attention to you lately." Blue said.
"It's fine… I don't really know…" I was looking at the two envelopes I got. I was really stuck on this. Something tells me that I have to push for Candace but I don't want to miss out on Gemma either. Candace, of course, is going to be tough, but when I tell her everything, and me and Blue agree to this along with Candace (if she's going to listen), hopefully she'll understand where we're at and likely, we'll be in a great spot.
"You ok? Are you… sad?" Blue asked, looking worried.
"Oh no no. I'm fine. I was just thinking about something."
"About what? What I said about Gemma?" Xavier asked.
"No, that's not it either. In fact, I'm more worried about both."
"Wait, what are those envelopes for?" Blue asked as she was pointing at the envelopes I have in my hands
"It's for both of them." I said.
"Both of them?" Blue asked.

All of the lights around the area were turned off and the stage lights were turned on, sparking the beginning of something very big.
"We'll talk about this later." Blue said with a sweatdrop.
"This is it y'all! Get ready to make some noise!" Wendell shouted.
"Yeah we need y'all to bring the energy because it's about to be loud!" Xavier shouted.
I don't know… it's like a sporting event so I can get used to that… but I'll just spectate.
Everyone started clapping and cheering as a man with
long white hair, almost as if he was in his 40's or something, walked up to the stage and grabbed the microphone.
*BOP* *BOP*
"*cough* AHEM!"
Oh my goodness! Why would he do such a thing?! These people are going to give me a heart attack!
I then saw some people were laughing at him due to his little comedy act. I didn't find that funny, but I did at the same time. I'm in the middle.
"The Royal Rally… continues once again!" The man said on the mic. "With the two fashionable princesses duking it out once again! PART 4! Current three-time reigning Royal Rally champion, Candace Maxey vs. Gemma January!"
Everyone was clapping and cheering on that remark. I was just only watching as I haven't gotten a feeling of this just yet.
"Now, I know we have seen these two battle for the past 18 months with Candace winning all three of the Royal Rally events with some spellbinding moments that we will never ever ever EVER soon to forget, but something might change tomorrow or
things will stay the same. That will depend on what happens. Hopefully Gemma has all the tools this time to stop a dangerous Candace, but the question is, will Candace still be able to overwhelm Gemma and still defend her title for the fourth consecutive time, and the become the first to do so and end her Royal Rally career in grand-style! Some people might say she would qualify for the Big Leagues for Fashionistas once she grows 18, but it will be decided by the organization itself even though she has been sensational in all 36 months of her time being here. As for Gemma, 18 months and she still hasn't managed to beat Candace yet. Qualifying for the Royal Rally is enormous, but what's worse is she lost thrice against Candace which is REALLY not a good look for her heading into the Big Leagues, but for the fourth time, she still refuses to give up in front of Candace as she wants to prove to the world that she's the woman of the people including us."
Wait a minute… so this Candace's LAST time being in the Royal Rally?! And she's likely eligible for the Big Leagues for Fashionistas or whatever at age 18?! Sheesh! But what is this Big Leagues for Fashionistas?
"So… before we introduce to you our competitors for tomorrow, let us hear the National Anthem and then the events are going to be played for tomorrow! LIGHTS!"

All of the lights were being turned off and there was a screen showing the flag of our country. I'm surprised that they are doing the national anthem for our country so I took the time to close my eyes and listen to the music.

Everyone, including myself, clapped on the national anthem basically due to the loyalty that we have in this country. I mean I have learned about what it's like here, but not all of it. *sigh* Just thinking about my country makes me wanna be in the spotlight.

"Alright. *giggle* United Kingdom forever! Anyway, let us introduce the events. The rules remain the same as always. It will be a best-of-5. No fan interference allowed! We have security cameras that will tell if you are cheating or not, so please do not interfere with the participants."
"I mean some interference would be nice. Just for the one time." I heard Xavier whisper.

"Now… the first event. Question And Answer Rush! Two participants will answer a maximum of 10 questions. Each answer correct is worth 10 points. The points will be multiplied after 5 questions. These topics talk about the Royal Rally and fashionistas! The competitor with the most points, wins!
Second event, Capture The Flag! So this is about team strategy. It is a five versus five matchup. Each team will have three flags and five teams will have to seperate from one another. The goal is to capture the enemy flags before the enemy territory does. The team that captures all the flags, wins! You cannot retrieve your own flag back once your flag is captured. You can only retrieve your flag if you tag the person who has the flag. If you have the enemy's flag you can either one: release your teammates from prison or two: steal the flag back to your base. But be careful: if you get tagged by an opponent, you'll be in prison, meaning you have to step outside the playing field until a teammate captures a flag and puts you back in. Make sure to capture those flags.
Third event, Picture Perfect! This is where two participants have to paint and design three mannequins that were posted on the screen shown. Once the screen shows the designs of the mannequins, they have to create those designs without the screen now. Each competitor will have 20 minutes! The judges will decide on who designed the mannequins better. The player with the best design wins!
Now… for the fourth game if neither one competitor can win the first 3 games… is— I know some boys would love these types of games, I may not be sure, but that's what I predict… Tug-Of-War! Second team-game! Everyone knows how this works, right?! Two teams pull at opposite ends of the rope until one gets dragged over?! Alright, I guess we all know this one! *giggle*
And now… for the fifth and final game of the Royal Rally, if these competitors split the series, then they will play— drumroll please!"
*DRUMROLL*
I then heard drums banging as I was getting ready to hear the final game of the Royal Rally. My heart was pounding for some reason but I had to maintain my composure.

"Whoa!"
"Wow!"
Huh. This seems interesting.
I heard some oohs and aahs from the crowd that were reacting to this game that seems very fun. It looked very interesting to me.
"I'm not gonna lie… this game is so cool!" Wendell said.
"Yeah, this totally works right there! It's a test of their ability!" Xavier said.
"That's right, everyone! Kartathlon! It's a contest where two competitors drive in go-karts and run all the way to the finish line. Obstacles will be added onto the track so make sure to keep those eyes peeled. *giggle* It will be a sprint to the finish line so the first to reach the goal, wins the Royal Rally and the title! This will be very interesting if this goes to 5 games so I hope you all attend the Royal Rally for this!"
Kartathlon, huh? It feels similar to Roller Rocket Racing a little bit.
"I haven't ever seen Candace drive before. I wonder how she is going to take it." Blue said, looking a little worried.
"I agree. All she ever does is have her little comrades drop her off in green limousines. Speaking of green limousines, I bet she might show up in one anyway." Wendell said.
"She doesn't… drive?" I asked. "Then I wonder how she's going to defeat Gemma in this."
"You can't judge her driving skills." Cheyenne said to us. "She knows how to drive. It's just… she's rich and she wants anyone to do what she says. I think that's what… princesses do."
"O-Oh…"
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen!" Said the man on the mic. "Now that we have played that national anthem and we have all the events prepped and ready to go, I will now present to you… THE COMPETITORS FOR THIS YEAR'S ROYAL RALLY!"
*INTENSE CHEERING, CLAPPING AND BANGING*

"Now… Firstly, we have… the challenger, who will play in the Royal Rally for the fourth consecutive time of her career… the bright. The beautiful. The entertaining. The energetic. The one and only… Gemma "The Gem" January!"

As Gemma was walking towards the… well skipping towards the stage, she had on a yellow fluffy coat over a yellow dress and black and yellow sneakers. She also had a sun tattoo on her right cheek.
Is she really ok wearing this?
"Wow… Gemma looks… I'm about to drool, man…" Aiden said with complete shock.
"Dude, why do you always have to drool?!" Xavier asked.
"Alright, c'mon, Aiden. Back to your senses please." Lucas said as he gave a napkin to Aiden.
"Ack… sorry, it was… she was…"
"It's fine." Lucas said with a small smile as he padded Aiden's shoulder.
"Hahh… Always so lovable. How are you on this wonderful evening, Ms. Gemma?" The man on the mic asked Gemma.
"I'm totally awesome as usual! It's nice to see everyone coming out here and supporting me! It really makes me… ecstatic!" Gemma said with excitement.
"Boo! Rotten Tomatoes!" Xavier shouted, not feeling
Gemma at the current moment.
"Haha! Dude said rotten tomatoes." Wendell said, while giggling.
"Do you really have to overrate Gemma?" Juniper asked Xavier.
"Yes! Well, I like her generally, but in this… this ain't gonna cut it."
I wonder how those two met to begin with.
"And now… ladies and gentlemen… the moment you have all been waiting for… I now introduce to you… the current three-time Royal Rally champion who has been a major threat to opponents that stand in her way… playing in her fifth consecutive Royal Rally… she's like a princess who wants people to pay attention to her more… she's very elegant and she's very dangerous to go up against… ladies and gentlemen… I present to you… THE CHAMPION, CANDACE MAXEY!"
*EXTREME CHEERING LIKE SOMEONE JUST SCORED THE GAME WINNING SHOT AT A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME*
I can't explain the noise from this crowd. So I guess I'm gonna have to clap for this one. I'm sorry Gemma.
As Candace entered on the opposite side of the stage, what she had on was an emerald-green dress that was so glittery, she even had a golden sash ribbon around her shoulder that said "Royal Rally Champion" around her. She had on what looked like an expensive tiara on her head, and to top it off she was wearing green high-heels that made her look a little taller. She must've been really prepared. She even blew a kiss in front of the crowd which is so… unexpected.
"You see this y'all! She's the truth! Oh my god… I'm in love." Xavier said in full excitement.
"I love her dress! It looks pretty!" Emily said while looking at Candace's dress.
"I know she's going to do that cringy ass laugh. I just know it." Juniper said with a huge sweatdrop.
"You just got to get used to it one of these days." Cheyenne whispered to her with an annoyed look.
I can definitely hear my friends in the back. Please bear with me. That's just a habit.
"There she is! The sexiest fashionista has arrived! Oh boy, oh my! And how are you on this wonderful evening, Champ?!"
"Ohohohohohoho! Almighty enough to end this thing once and for all!" Candace said pointing at Gemma.
That's Candace… or rather Rulue for you. I had to substitute that.
"As expected from the champ. Now, for the fourth consecutive season, you two will be playing for the title and Candace, you have still refused to give up the throne. What are your thoughts on the events and how well do you think you'll do out there?"
"Oh, I'm very confident, you know." Candace said. "This is my fourth consecutive time defending something I love very much. But my opponent knows I'm the more talented fashionista so I'm not gonna let the mixed-up strategies and improvements from Gemma stop me. Or rather, not anymore. But as far as events go, I'll probably do alright out there."
"Isn't "alright" the reason why you're too lazy to show some sportsmanship? Or is it your feelings that get the best of you?" Gemma teased with a cheeky grin.
There were some oohs from the crowd. Shocked at what Gemma said. Then an annoyed Candace says…
"You know you shouldn't be speaking insults towards the champion, right? Oh wait, you should've been doing so last 2 rallys ago when I beat you."
"*giggle* Look at these two. Getting along pretty well." The man on the mic said.
Who is that guy anyway?
"I-I'M NOT! You think I would be friends with this blonde rascal?!" Candace asked.
"Yeah!" Xavier, Wendell and Juniper said.
"Why do you three gotta answer for her?" Blue asked with a sweatdrop.
"I'm just joking, Candace. Geez. Anyway, Gemma, you still haven't claimed the title from Candace, yet you are still here trying to prove that you are one of the hottest girls in the United Kingdom. This is your fourth consecutive time facing her. Tell us about it. What did you do to reach here, and how will you be able to finally beat her?"
"Well… it's all about loyalty and maintaining your relationships." Gemma said. "I'm one of those people that brightens everyone's day with my cute appearances, funny quotes, a giga amount of energy, and everyone wanted me to do this so that I can prove myself that I belong. And I never thought Candace has that amazing potential in her although she's trying to resist admitting her feelings towards me. It's really exciting to take her on and…"
Gemma was then looking at me… or rather staring at me. So I took the time to perform a small smile and padded my chest a little, trying to get her to speak within her mind.
"…I'm gonna bring in the same energy that I had from yesterday! Because one time… I've had a friend recently who I thought… she would be one of Candace's sidekicks in a way… I figured she was a fan of Candace in which she told me, but she told me she wasn't one of Candace's sidekicks and her kind words and friendliness has given me high spirits! And I'm not gonna lose that confidence for tomorrow! I know most of these events and I'm bringing in that hard work in that Royal Rally! For the people that love me!"
There was some normal cheering and clapping and I decided to clap for this one because I was really happy that she's going to be bringing that confidence.

Wait a minute! I should also be focusing on Candace as well! That's my assignment!
"Hmph! One, that doesn't sound like it! And two, you always say that, but you have never corrected your errors. Is it because you were never watching the last three films? Oh wait, I don't care. I won those three. You will never be a better fashionista than me no matter what the people give you or what you do." Candace said.
Well… I think these two aren't that bad together. But I'm thinking Candace still has her issues with Gemma. Well… I'll see if Blue can still rope her into my side. I'm gonna see if I can also grab Gemma's help.
"Those words don't affect me at all. I have an infinite amount of confidence for this one."
"You better watch what you're saying, blondie. It's time to put the dog back in its cage because it's caused too much trouble."
There were some oohs from that one.
"Ok. Now, we're ready to present to you… the voting! But let's give it up one more time for these two ladies who will be participating in the Royal Rally!" The man said.
*INTENSE CHEERING*
Aside from recruiting, this is really special. One more season from Candace and Gemma getting another opportunity whatsoever… I still don't know who I'm going to vote for. It's not really that easy.
"Alright, now remember! You can only vote one time! You cannot vote for both! We want to see your prediction on who's gonna conquer the Royal Rally!"
I guess there are no other options now… but… who should I go for?
Author's Note: I had to stop there. Thinking about what to write was just too difficult and I'm not gonna make this chapter even longer so I'm gonna leave this on a cliffhanger. I took a while to update and I'm sorry… I went off on a bad foot to start off 2022… It's just… I know when writing party chapters, the words are so long and for this… I didn't want to do a "long story" of this chapter if you know what I mean. So for now… I'm just gonna take this as if it was part 1 so that I can keep you guys posted and not take up so much time to update.

I promise, it's just… The thinking process for me takes so long, and I'm just really hoping I can the United Kingdom era completed so that I can move on to the Stone-Searching era.
