Reimu looked out faintly to the voice calling her. Nothing but a white void on her side. Unaware that Nahumar and Marisa are trying to break down the illusion on their end like a one way mirror. Their voices fading in and out while what remained of Reimu's sanity held on. That or she probably was just bored out of her mind. Marisa and Nahumar on the other hand started pushing through and knocking over the various creatures standing between them and Reimu.
"Reimu!" Marisa called out after smacking another of those shadowy beings aside. Each one trying to grab and restrain the duo. Nahumar's shield repelled the majority of the group behind them.
Finally they reached the building and Marisa soon shook Reimu out of her state. "Hey get up! We gotta go!"
"Marisa? Got any food?" Her stomach growled. Her face was more bored out of her mind than sad or afraid. In her usual fashion, she was not letting the realm get to her. Nahumar on the other hand looked back at Marisa and Reimu while warding the creatures off. "H-hey! Think you guys could speed this up!? We're going to get overwhelmed."
"Right. Hold my hand, Reimu." Marisa grabbed Reimu's wrist while holding onto Nahumar's shoulder to start taking off. Left and right dodging the odd beings spawning before them and looking for the exit.
Reimu slowly began to focus and helped boost the trio out of the sphere with one last burst. A white light engulfed their eyes...
The moment they left the sphere, Reimu and Marisa awoke from the odd space to see Sanae and Yukari in the room still. "Reimu! You're back!" Sanae showed her care as the barrier was taken down allowing the Nighthare to leap into Reimu's lap to snuggle. Then she looked around before noticing Yukari picking up a black sphere.
"Where are you taking Nahumar?" Reimu asked as the portal opened. Yukari with her back completely turned to the group told her "Far from his brother so you can do your job and eliminate him." and as she vanished it was Reimu trying to get up from her seat but the fatigue of just waking up stopped her.
"Yukari wait. Explain to me what-" And once it closed she clenched her fist. "...Nevermind."
Slowly, Nahumar started to open his eye. He felt a soft cushion under his body yet when he opened his eye he saw a white haired girl in green clothes...He groaned in slight pain which alerted the passing gardener.
"Oh, you're awake? Hold on, I'll go get Lady Yuyuko." Youmu, the half ghost gardener was at the Hakurei Shrine? No. He was not there...instead when his vision fully came to, one look out the open sliding doors to a rock garden and an ominous sky with spirits freely floating around. Soon another door opened to a pink haired lady that Nahumar vaguely remembered seeing at the Flower Viewing Party.
"Wakey-Wakey, Nahumar! I asked Youmu to grab some food for your temporary stay!" a bright and joyful woman despite the aura of death Nahumar could sense that took a seat at the table. He turned around to face Yuyuko with a few blinks. He was in his orb form after aiding Reimu and Marisa. The amount of energy it took out of him forced this form to emerge.
"Y-you don't understand. I have to go help my brother-" the sound of a large plate hitting the table stopped his talk. Piled high with food of all kinds. A chicken rice bowl- no two large chicken rice bowls with eggs for Yuyuko and a normal sized portion for Nahumar to eat.
"Don't worry about your brother, he will be taken care of." saying it with lack of empathy.
"Taken...care of? You don't mean-" His eye dilated in horror. "No! You can't just kill him!"
Though Yuyuko chuckled. "No silly. Reimu won't kill him unless he poses a real big threat. But never mind that! You are hungry and so am I." Thus she started to feast on one of the bowls while Youmu offered a pair of chopsticks for Nahumar with a confused look.
"How do you exactly eat in that form?" she asked him.
"Oh, Well like this." The chopsticks floated in the air with a mild use of telekinetic power. The same kind that can cause him to hover in his true form as he started to pick at the bowl and let it absorb into his body. Though delicious, his mind wandered to his brother and what his fate might be.
"I just need one chance..."
Reimu changed back to her shrine maiden attire and fixed up her bow before taking a few steps out of the shrine with Marisa and Sanae in tow.
"So looks like Deimos is still out there." Reimu scratched her head looking far more annoyed than usual. "A cheap shot and aggressively attacking me first. I should just exterminate his brother for good-"
"I wouldn't if I were you." The voice of Hecatia before them. She stood with a firm stance as Clownpiece popped from behind with a grin.
"Hey hey! Figured i'd get master after hearing the commotion." to which she received a pat on the head from Hecatia.
"And you did excellent. Now if you want, you're free to come along and watch." but as Clownpiece celebrated to see Hecatia fight someone her gaze locked onto the three humans before her.
"Deimos from what I can guess is going through the same motion as before after his father's death. You need to find a way to seal up and suppress his ability or he will be in a constant motion of self-powered Terror."
Reimu nodded "Got it. Deal with him like Junko." this caused the goddess of hell to laugh at the comparison. "You might be onto something! If you're able to stop Junko then you already have an idea how to stop Deimos." A few taps of her feet and Hecatia was already lifting off with Clownpiece in tow.
"Follow me. I have a vague idea where Deimos might be now. It's faint but family blood is strong." having Reimu, Marisa and Sanae following close behind Hecatia to the north area of Gensokyo would be the smart choice. Out there, a barren section untouched by humans reside. In the distance they could see both Yuugi and Suika battling the spear wielding twin brother. After a few more blows the two Oni would break off to find the approaching group.
"Looks like she's right on time!" Suika noted and the two hopped backwards. Deimos was about to charge but odd marble pillars came down from the heavens to surround him. Creating an area just for him and Reimu to fight. Deimos turned to the small crowd joining them.
"Aunt Hecatia." His snarled silently just as Reimu cleared her throat for his attention.
"Okay. Let's just settle this right now. I'm hungry, tired and pissed off." Though she raised her Gohei up she heard the God cackle.
"So you're going to seal me up this time? Go ahead and try! I think it was easier back when that Gap Youkai tossed me in the underground." Clearly this was not the first time anyone fought this person. Reimu though showed no care as she tossed a curtain of danmaku his way. Forcing him to dodge.
"Normally i'm the one who likes to chat before a fight but you've done nothing but cause problems. For that-" and again she held her stance. "As the Priestess of Hakurei, It's my duty to solve the incident!"
Nahumar, now no longer in his sphere form sat on the porch of the mansion to stare out at the rock garden. A cup of tea and sweets left beside him for a while. His mind fading back to the day he was sealed...
Nahumar many years ago was relaxing in his shrine when a priestess in long black hair, red and white clothing and warm eyes descended upon his home.
"Hm?" he looked up to find the Hakurei Priestess with talismans in hand. "Welcome Priestess. Do you require my-" And before he could finish, the Priestess tossed the charms to bind his body down against the back wall of the interior.
"W-what is the meaning of this!?" He tried fighting but his whole body was numb. Frozen. The priestess walked closer and bent down to his level. Tears of sorrow in her eyes as she told him the situation.
"I'm sorry, Nahumar. Your brother has been causing issues. We need you to...fade away for now."
"F-fade!? No you can't do this! Where is my brother? I can fix this, just give me a chance-"
"Your brother is being handled by Yukari. He will be sealed in the underground like you..."
The more he saw the tears the more Nahumar knew this was painful to a friend.
"Please...Forgive me. I'm sure someone will free you in time when things are calmer."
The last sight Nahumar saw of the old Priestess of Hakurei was placing the final talisman on his forehead. On the verge of breaking down to perform it on him...
When Youmu went to check on the god she noticed his reluctance to enjoy his snacks. Just focused on the rocks.
"Nahumar-san. Are you still worried about your brother?" Youmu asked openly. Politely taking the time to sit beside him.
"I am." He replied. "Deimos is probably still in his constant state of fear over what happened with father. I have to do something. He still clings to the past..." Then as he reminded himself of the shield he owned...
"That's it! Youmu. Think you can try and get Lady Yuyuko to contact Yukari somehow? I have a plan!"

Nahumar emerged from a gap as Yukair appeared alongside the other spectators with Marisa, Clownpiece and Hecatia.
"Now tell me what your plan is, little sphere?" Yukari wanted to be entertained at the idea that Nahumar even had a plan in the first place. He summoned the round shield to him and simply said "Open a gap."
Yukari sighed. "Alright. I like surprises."
With a gentle point of her umbrella to the open gap, another came out between both Reimu and Deimos mildly interrupting the fight.
"Reimu! Catch!" With his might, Nahumar hurled the shield through the gap. It emerged before Reimu as she caught it without issue. "What do I even do with-" When the gap faded, Deimos felt his eyes shrink and focus on it. The spear trembled as did the arm holding it.
Reimu took that note and charged forth with the shield first. Deimos had no time to dodge with the speed Reimu was showing, instead opting to strike at the shield to try and deflect...
then a bright light shined, shattering both the spear and shield at once. The final link to the outside world they had...gone. Marisa was confused as was Reimu.
"What in the hell?" but it was Hecatia who finally caught on to what Nahumar did and though it hurt her inside...
"Those weapons were given to them by their father. The same one Deimos is unable to admit he killed in the line of fire due to his rage." She took a seat and patted Clownpiece's head to ensure to the fairy she was alright.
"I hope this is a wakeup call to Deimos..."
Reimu extended her Gohei. "Do you give up now? Set aside the past already. I'll go easier on you if-"
"NO!"
The God of Terror snarled as he drew a spell card he had in reserve. "I'll defeat you here and now! To my dying breath!" He raised the card high. He shouted the name of this one last ability for Reimu.
"SEVEN LAYERS OF BULLET HELL!"
From up high, the arena they were closed in became littered with danmaku. A massive wall of the stuff prevented easily passing as it started to approach her. Some of the bullets like most of the patterns were fake but the narrow passage was winding and constantly in motion. A timeout card unseen before...
