Decided to run some of these through Word to fix some of the spelling and grammar errors. I know it didn't get all of them but It got most of them, so I decided to upload the fixed and edited versions now.
if I missed anything let me know lol.
Now, I do NOT Own Fairy Tail or its characters.
On with the show!
She didn't know or remember how she ended up in the situation but she did and now she couldn't move. Somehow, Laxus had ended up with his face buried in her lap. It was like one second, she was reading her book, and the next thing she knew Laxus' face was face down in her lap. His soft snores were the only thing that proved he was still alive.
She had her head laying in one hand that was propped up by her elbow on the armrest of the train seat. She was softly running her fingers through his hair. When she first did this, he sort of purred and then growled telling her that this did not leave this train car. But not long afterward, he had fallen asleep, now and then he would nuzzle his face into her lap and grumble incoherently.
She was officially bored. She couldn't read because anytime she would stop her fingers from going through his hair, he would be making a noise that sounded like he was ready to puke. So, she decided it would be safer and cleaner for her to just keep doing it.
She let out a sigh and dug her portable communication lacrima out of her bag that was on the opposite side of the dragon slayer that was face first in her lap. She was silently grateful Warren even invented these things, they came in handy that was sure.
She decided to take a picture of the sleeping dragon slayer that lay in her lap. She then sent the picture, in her opinion, to probably the worst person possible, Cana with a message.
"Why me?! Why does this only ever happen to me?!" ~ Lucy
It wasn't even two minutes later when she got a reply from her and she honestly was dreading it. But she was the one who started this so she had to suck it up.
"Is your lap that magical?! Holy shit! I know you taste magical but damn. If your lap is that magical, I wouldn't mind taking a nap there either. Just think I'd even get dessert when I would wake up! Mira would be so pissed right now!" ~ Cana
Lucy rolled her eyes at all the laughing faces that she decided to add to the message.
"Perv. Don't show Mira! She'll kill me!" ~ Lucy
"You should let him have a taste. I heard from Mira that he's A-fucking-mazing." ~ Cana
"NO! Mira would definitely kill me if I had him do that! I do NOT have a death wish!" ~ Lucy
'Why did I even think that it was a good idea to send her that?' Lucy groaned internally dreading the reply from the guild drunk who also happened to be one of her best friends.
"Honestly girl, I don't think she would even care at this point. She said she has a feeling they're going to be breaking up again soon." ~ Cana
"Still. I wouldn't do that. They're still together. That would be wrong. I'm not Natsu. I actually care about how other people feel." ~ Lucy
Lucy was fuming. She didn't understand why she was suddenly angry. But Cana's comment set her off. How could she even think that she would do anything with Laxus when he was with Mira? How could she think that she would do anything with Laxus in general? It sounded ludicrous. Not to mention Laxus wouldn't look at her like that.
Right?
"Lu, I'm sorry. I forgot. I could get Mira's permission for you if you'd like?" ~ Cana
Lucy rolled her eyes.
Only Cana would think of something like that. Lucy should have known, Cana and Bickslow were the guild's swingers after all. It seemed that they really didn't care if they slept with other people as long as the other knew and could possibly watch and or join depending.
That's when something struck her.
"You didn't tell Bickslow about earlier, did you?" ~ Lucy
"Of course! The only one he doesn't know about is the one with Mira. And that's only because none of us including Mira wanted Laxus to find out. Also, I told him you could teach him a few things. He said he was game for a lesson or two as long as you joined in with us." ~ Cana
Lucy couldn't stop her face from flaming.
"You can tell him no. I'm officially turning into a lesbian. Men are cheating ignorant assholes!" ~ Lucy
Lucy felt like she was on the verge of tears. Why? She had no clue. For some reason, the thought of another man besides Natsu touching her made her irrationally angry.
For a while it was silent. It wasn't until about twenty minutes later when she got a message back from Cana.
"Not all men. Most yes. But not all. Don't worry you'll find one, one day. Until then we can share Bicks." ~ Cana
"He said he's game for it." ~ Cana
After that Cana added some winking faces to the message.
"Pass. Natsu hasn't even... Well, you know... We never got that far." ~ Lucy
"Wait. So, you're telling me you're still... HOLY SHIT! NO WAY!" ~ Cana
"Yeah." ~ Lucy
Now Lucy felt extremely embarrassed. She had no problem going practically all the way with Cana or even Mira but her own boyfriend, or should she say now ex-boyfriend since when she returns, she's ending things with him, and doesn't want to touch her.
All she wanted to do right now was curl into a ball and cry. The thought of Natsu with Lisanna hurt a lot. She would have given him whatever he wanted. If he didn't want to be with her, why would he have asked her out only to turn around and be sneaking around with Lisanna?
Suddenly she wanted off the train. She felt sick just thinking about it. She was going to get up and run to the bathroom until she remembered she had a dragon slayer sleeping on her lap. And it wasn't the normal dragon slayer she'd normally have laying on her lap either. She had to bite her lip to keep from sobbing and breaking down completely.
A ding alerted her to a message.
"We'll be back tomorrow. I can't wait to see you. I miss you. I have something I need to talk to you about that's super important. Love you." ~ Natsu
She froze.
She continued to stare at the message not realizing that her other hand that was soothingly going through Laxus' hair had stopped moving. She didn't even hear the sickly groan that came from the sleeping slayer in her lap.
Laxus suddenly felt sick. He couldn't describe it. He knew he was on the train but something had blocked it and he could finally get some peace from his rolling stomach. But something happened that made that peace now go away.
He didn't want to move. He stayed still long enough to assess the situation. He remembered something softly brushing through his hair that, he'd forever deny, felt incredible and soothing. He felt something soft under his head and face.
Was it a pillow?
No. It didn't smell like a pillow. In fact, it smelled absolutely delicious. And if it wasn't for his stomach rolling, he would have definitely had a taste. He went to move his hands and felt that they were hugging something. He was just hoping it wasn't a person. That would be completely embarrassing to try to explain to a random person that he didn't mean to hug them while he was sleeping.
But it was the choked sob that caught his attention and made him alert. His stomach be damned. He bolted up to assess everything and to check for threats. But he then noticed he was still on the train so he relaxed a bit. He looked down and saw that he was hovering over a barely covered lap. His hands on either side of the lap held him up.
He was slightly afraid of what he would find if he looked up. Would they scream at him? Would they want more? The bare legs, thick thighs, and short skirt told him it was definitely female. He was just hoping whoever it was would understand he didn't mean to sleep on them.
He slowly moved his eyes up, he saw the exposed mid-section between the white skirt and pink top, it was flat and creamy and looked smooth. His eyes traveled higher till he came face to face with a very large chest.
He gulped to keep from drooling. He saw the black lace that was sticking out from under her pink top. He wanted to groan and bury his head in between them. They looked soft and squishy.
He swallowed before moving his eyes further up and the face he saw had him remembering everything that had happened. And why he was even on a train, to begin with.
There under him sat Lucy, her hand over her mouth and tears in her eyes looking at something in front of her. He turned his head and saw a pink portable communication lacrima in her hand. If he wasn't a dragon slayer, he probably wouldn't have been able to see the writing on the screen from this distance.
But he could.
He saw a small picture of Natsu grinning like an idiot in the upper corner. And he saw the message. The message had him annoyed and seeing red.
"We'll be back tomorrow. I can't wait to see you. I miss you. I have something I need to talk to you about that's super important. Love you."
Is what the message said.
Laxus wanted to go find the fire freak and beat him senseless. But right now, he couldn't, he had bigger issues. Ignoring his rolling stomach, he sat up and snatched the Lacrima Comm out of Lucy's hands startling her out of her frozen state.
"Laxus..." He heard her whisper, her eyes were wide and still filled with tears.
"He doesn't deserve your tears..." Laxus grunted as he began typing.
"Sorry on a job. Won't be back for a while. Have fun with Lisanna." ~ Lucy
Laxus typed out the message and before Lucy could snatch it away, he hit the send button.
Lucy snatched it back from him, hoping she made it before he sent anything, but to her dismay, she was too late. He had sent something to Natsu. She wanted to be mad at him. But for some reason, she couldn't be. In fact, she was thinking of sending something just like that to him herself. Just without the part about Lisanna. She didn't know whether to be pissed or grateful to Laxus at that moment.
But the sickly groan told her to deal with it later.
She sighed and grabbed the collar of his fur-lined coat and pulled him back down onto her lap where she began running her fingers back through his hair.
"Lay down before you get sick all over the train car and me... I would rather not deal with Dragon Slayer puke today..." Lucy scolded lightly.
Laxus didn't need to be told twice. He was happy to lay down so he didn't have to deal with his stomach rolling anymore.
"Thanks..." Laxus grunted a grumble before he settled back into her lap.
Lucy shook her head as she lightly snorted. "Yeah, yeah, you owe me..." Lucy said laying her head back and holding the lacrima comm back in her hand.
"Natsu just messaged me." ~ Lucy
She decided to message Cana. She needed some girl-type advice. And she didn't want to involve Levy since she was having her own Dragon Slayer issues.
"What did he say?" ~ Cana
Lucy opened Natsu's message and swiped her hand over it taking a picture of the screen and sending it to her so she could read it for herself.
"He has some nerve! Nice reply though! Maybe he'll finally wake up and realize his mistake." ~ Cana
"Doubt it. He hasn't replied. Not to mention I didn't send that back to him. Laxus did." ~ Lucy
It was about ten minutes before Cana replied again.
"What do you mean Laxus sent it? How did he get his hands on your Comm?" ~ Cana
"He woke up and snatched it from me. Before I could get it back from him, he had already hit send. So, there's no undoing it now." ~ Lucy
"How do you feel about that? Come on. Tell Cana everything." ~ Cana
Lucy rolled her eyes. She could just imagine the teasing and the fake pout on her face now.
It was typical Cana.
"Honestly? Numb. If that makes sense. I feel nothing right now. And frankly, I don't want to." ~ Lucy
Cana didn't respond after that. She was slightly relieved but she was still nervous. Only because it was Cana. With Cana, you never know what's going to happen next or what will come out of her mouth next.
~~Guild Hall~~
Cana sighed as she put down her lacrima comm. She didn't know what else to say. What could she say? Turning off your feelings and heart isn't healthy? She didn't know.
"What's wrong Cana?" Mira asked as she walked over-drying the glass in her hand.
Cana looked up and sighed. "Just talking to Lu... She's still on the train and it seems Natsu messaged her..." Cana explained with a shrug.
"Oh... How did that go?" Mira asked her tone holding concern.
Cana shrugged. "According to Lu, Laxus snatched her comm before she could even reply and he replied for her before she could get it back..." Cana said.
Mira's eyebrows shot up. "He did?! On a moving train?! How!?" Mira asked shocked.
"How would I know I didn't ask..." Cana said grabbing her mug to take a drink only to find it empty. She pouted and held it out to the barmaid. "Please!" Cana whined.
Mira rolled her eyes. "Alright fine..." Mira grumbled taking the mug to go refill it.
"How is Lu doing?" Levy asked as she sat next to her at the bar.
"Don't know... She said she feels numb..." Cana replied.
"Numb? That's not exactly healthy... Especially when it's Lu..." Levy said her eyes wide.
"I know... But what can I tell her?" Cana shrugged with a sigh. "It's not like I have the greatest love life... Bicks and I are always hot and cold..." Cana explained.
"We never see you guys fight... In fact, it's the opposite... You're both always all over each other..." Mira said returning with Cana's filled mug.
Cana took it with a grin as she downed half of it in one go. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand as she set it down on the bar.
"Between me and Bicks, it's pretty much just sex... Nothing more... We both know it and we both agree... But Lu isn't like us... Not to mention! Did either of you know that Lu is still a virgin?!" Cana said drunkenly.
"Wait... But her and Natsu were together for how long?!" Levy asked as her jaw dropped.
"That's what I said! Natsu's never touched her that way... Like ever..." Cana explained with a burp. "Excuse me..." Cana said sheepishly.
"It's no wonder..." A gruff voice said from behind the girls. The girls looked only to see Gajeel standing there glaring at Levy with his arms crossed. "The demon's sister is Natsu's mate... It's no wonder why the flame brain hasn't touched Bunny like that..." Gajeel explained.
"So... Natsu has been stringing Lucy along this whole time?" Mira asked her voice shifting to her Satan-Soul voice as her eyebrow twitched in anger.
"It seems so... I overheard the idiot telling the demon's sister that he needed more time to tell Bunny... He didn't want to hurt her... She doesn't want to hurt her either, it's not like it's something we slayers can control... It's either you are or you aren't our mate... It's like fate had already chosen who we were meant to be with before we were even born or some shit... I don't know how it all works..." Gajeel explained with a shrug.
"I don't understand why Natsu just wouldn't tell her... I mean it's Lu, she'd understand..." Levy whimpered with a pout. "Natsu should have just told her right off the back... What they are doing is wrong!" Levy snapped tears gathering in her eyes.
Cana, Mira, and Gajeel all raised an eyebrow at her outburst. "Lev? What's wrong?" Cana asked cautiously.
"Nothing! This isn't about me! This is about Lu! Damn it! Why didn't we go with her?" Levy said bursting into tears.
The others around began glaring at Gajeel. Gajeel looked around and scoffed.
"I didn't do it! Don't you look at me for this! If you want to blame anyone blame the stupid flame brain for causing this whole mess!" Gajeel growled in annoyance before stomping off.
~~On The Train~~
It was hours later when the announcement went over the loudspeaker that they were approaching the Clover Town station. Lucy stretched her arms over her head. Laxus stirred and groaned at the loss of Lucy's fingers in his hair.
"We're almost at the station... Time to get up..." Lucy said as she stretched when she heard the sickly groan from Laxus.
Laxus grunted as he sat up holding his head. He felt like he got ran over by the said train. His head was pounding. It was strange, to say the least, this had never happened before.
"I feel like I just got ran over by a train..." Laxus grumbled with his head in his hand.
"That's weird..." Lucy mumbled but her eyes were looking out the window.
Laxus looked at her and then followed her line of sight.
It was definitely weird. A heavy fog covered the area. It didn't look like just any fog. In fact, this fog was slightly purple in color. No one could even see anything in front of them.
"You can say that again... I know this town, once we're outside I'll port us there..." Laxus grunted as he fought the urge to hurl.
"You couldn't have done that in the first place? Save yourself the train ride?" Lucy asked with a raised eyebrow.
Laxus shrugged. "That distance would be a huge drain on my magic... I needed to conserve it... Now that we're closer, a lot closer, in fact, I can get us there without using much magic..." Laxus explained.
"Uh-huh... Sure..." Lucy muttered with a roll of her eyes.
Laxus heard but ignored the comment.
The train came to a stop, the screeching of the brakes the only sound that could be heard. When Lucy and Laxus left the train car, the train was deserted. Not a person in sight.
"Can we just go back home? I'm not getting a good feeling about this... The train was full of people not long ago..." Lucy said as they walked out of the completely empty train car.
"I'd be inclined to agree with you, but we can't just leave this place like this..." Laxus said as they stepped out onto the platform.
"Fine to the mayor's place then?" Lucy asked with a sigh knowing she didn't have much of a choice.
"Yeah... Hold on tight Blondie..." Laxus chuckled when she squealed as he wrapped an arm around her waist.
And just like that, they disappeared with the sound of a thunderclap.
When they landed outside a giant mansion, Lucy staggered a bit to regain her balance from the dizziness. Laxus held her upright until she was able to stand on her own.
"What hell, Laxus?! What do you call that?! Was that really necessary?" Lucy asked with a huff as she crossed her arms over her chest while she glared at him.
Laxus chuckled. "Not really, but it got us here quicker... And away from the station which was, do I need to remind you, was giving you the creeps not that long ago?" Laxus asked with a raised eyebrow.
Lucy groaned with a huff but dropped it. "Fine, you win... Let's get this over with, shall we?" Lucy asked while rubbing her temples.
"Sure..." Laxus said before bowing and putting his one hand out. "After you, Princess..." Laxus teased making Lucy roll her eyes.
"Ha ha, very funny..." Lucy grumbled before she started walking up to the house.
Once they got to the front door Laxus knocked and they both waited. Lucy leaned against the railing and looked up at the sky before turning her head towards the town. The purple fog looked thick, to the point of not being able to see through it. She stared at it and thought she saw a person getting dragged but she couldn't be sure because as soon as she turned towards Laxus to say something the door was opened.
"How may I help you?" A young-looking girl with black hair that was pulled into a bun, gray eyes, and was dressed in a maid's outfit greeted them with a smile.
Her eyes instantly went to Laxus as she licked her lips.
Laxus held back a snort. "We're from Fairy Tail... We're answering a request that was sent to us by someone at this address..." Laxus explained.
"Oh! Of course! Follow me!" The young girl said bowing slightly while holding her hand out.
Laxus held out his arm to Lucy for her to take. Lucy saw his arm and sighed before linking her arm with his. They both walked in passed the young girl who was now glaring at Lucy.
"Stay close..." Laxus whispered.
"Well, no shit... I'm getting a bad feeling about this place..." Lucy whispered lower knowing full well he'd be able to hear her.
She gripped his arm tighter while moving slightly closer to him. To say she was scared was an understatement. Something was definitely off about this place.
They walked down the hall following the young girl. They stopped at the end of the hall where a large set of double doors stood. The young girl knocked before opening the door. They stepped inside what looked like an office of sorts.
Behind the desk was a short bald pudgy man with a mustache that curled at the ends. He was wearing the typical black suit.
Lucy had to fight the urge to gag from the smell of cologne that surrounded the office. If she was having a hard time with the smell, she could only assume Laxus was having a harder time with it.
"Welcome!" The pudgy man said in greeting. "My name is Max... And I would like to thank you for accepting the request... Not many guilds were willing... In fact! You are the first! Oh! And have you got a Celestial Wizard with you?" The man asked looking between the two blondes.
Lucy held an expressionless look on her face. One from many years of living with her father. And Laxus held his normal face. Which to Lucy was scary on its own.
Lucy raised her free hand. "Yes, sir... I am the Celestial Wizard you requested..." Lucy said boredly.
"Wonderful! You have a spirit that can track right?" The man asked, his eyes wide with glee.
"Yes... I also have my partner..." Lucy said gripping Laxus' arm now with both arms. "This is Laxus Dreyar... He's also a Dragon Slayer and has one of the best noses around..." Lucy said narrowing her eyes slightly as a smirk appeared on her face.
The man's eyes grew wider and his smile fell as he moved his eyes to the taller blonde. Laxus could sense and read the fear on the man's face.
Why was the man scared? They didn't know. But they would find out sooner or later.
"A-A-A Dragon Slayer?!" The man stammered. He gulped before clapping his hands together and forcing a smile. "That's wonderful!" The man exclaimed. The man coughed and put on a serious face. "Now, onto the request and the reason why I have asked for your help... The town's people have been disappearing, some have turned back up but not in the same shape they first disappeared... Some turned up dead, and some have turned up different... Magically different..." The man said.
Lucy looked at Laxus out of the corner of her eye while Laxus squeezed her one hand that was on his arm with his. Lucy was slightly trembling as she tightened her grip on his arm, digging her nails into his skin. She had a really bad feeling about this.
"Go on... Anything else you can tell us?" Laxus asked.
"Yes... They all have disappeared near the forest on the outskirts of town... No one dares to enter them, and we have no way to track a person so that is why I sent the request... If I knew Fairy Tail had a Dragon slayer I would have just requested one of those! But I only thought that Celestial mages had spirits that could track..." The man said.
Lucy took a deep breath. "What about that purple fog that's in town?" Lucy asked.
"Purple fog? Oh! Yes! Don't mind that... That's normal around here..." The man exclaimed waving his hand dismissively towards the comment.
"Very well, we've had a long trip, we're going to go get set up in a hotel and we'll start first thing in the morning..." Laxus said.
"Right! Of course! Here!" The man said as he held out a piece of paper. "Hand this to the person at the front desk everything has already been arranged for you..." The man said.
Laxus nodded and took the paper before both he and Lucy turned to leave. Once out of the office and away from the man Lucy's grip relaxed.
"Sorry..." Lucy muttered.
"For?" Laxus asked, knowing full well why but he wanted to hear her say it.
"I didn't hurt you, did I?" Lucy asked.
Laxus chuckled. "No, you didn't... It's fine don't worry about it..." Laxus said as they reached the front door where the young girl was standing. Laxus wanted to groan seeing the girl whose eyes sparkled when she saw him. "How about some dinner dear?" Laxus asked looking down at Lucy with a smile.
Lucy looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a smirk. "Sure darling..." Lucy said fighting back the urge to snort.
The face of the young girl fell and turned into a scowl but she quickly recovered. "You're leaving already?" The girl asked refusing to look at Lucy.
"Yes, sorry but we have work to do and my wife here is hungry..." Laxus said walking past the girl not sparing her a glance.
Lucy bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from laughing as Laxus' face never gave anything away.
The young girl was fuming. She was angry beyond angry. Lucy and Laxus felt a rise of magic for a short second before it disappeared as the girl calmed herself down.
As the blondes walked away from the mansion Lucy let out a breath. "So, when did we get married, and did you let Mira know?" Lucy asked in amusement.
"Shut it... That girl gave me the creeps... And that's saying something... I had to say that so she'd stop looking at me like that..." Laxus explained with a sigh.
Lucy giggled. "Uh huh sure..." Lucy said as they continued to walk, still arm in arm. Not that either one of them noticed that. "So, the hotel then food or food then hotel... I am actually hungry..." Lucy said.
"Let's get checked in and I'll go grab us something to eat..." Laxus said as they enter the town again.
The purple fog was lighter and barely there but they could still see some of it lingering.
"That's odd... It was really thick earlier when we got here, now it's not..." Lucy muttered out loud.
"Yeah... Funny it's like this after we mention it to that man..." Laxus said.
"He wasn't the mayor, was he?" Lucy asked.
"Nope... The mayor is taller and thinner... And the Mayor doesn't give off a magical presence... This guy did..." Laxus said.
Lucy nodded. "Both of them did... Any idea what's going on?" Lucy asked.
"Nope... But we'll figure it out..." Laxus said as they stopped in front of the hotel.
"I really don't want to be alone in the place... It gives me the creeps..." Lucy mumbled under her breath but Laxus heard her loud and clear.
"Come on... Let's get settled and then we'll go have dinner..." Laxus said changing his original plan.
Lucy nodded. "Alright..." Lucy said not catching onto the change.
~~In The Hotel Room~~
"Really only one room? Seriously!" Lucy whined.
"The lady at the front desk said that's all the mayor set up... What do you want me to do?" Laxus asked with a chuckle as he lay on the bed with his legs crossed and his hands behind his head.
"I don't know! Use that famous Laxus glare of yours! Something! I don't need Mira killing me when we get back!" Lucy huffed sitting cross-legged and crossed-armed next to him on the only bed in the room
Laxus sighed. "Fine... I'll take the couch..." Laxus grumbled.
"You're too big for the couch..." Lucy grumbled before getting up and moving to the couch.
"Are you calling me fat?" Laxus asked feeling insulted.
"No... But seriously look at you! You take up most of the bed! You're a freaking giant!" Lucy said plopping down onto the couch.
Laxus chuckled. "I can't help that... It's how I'm built..." Laxus grumbled the last part.
"I really don't see how you or Ivan are related to Master Makarov..." Lucy said randomly.
"What do you mean?" Laxus asked sitting up.
"Okay, look at your grandfather... Even Asuka is almost taller than him... Then look at you and your father... Explain that to me..." Lucy asked laying her head back with her arms laying across the back of the couch.
Laxus blinked. "Gramps can get big..." Laxus stated dumbly.
Lucy snorted. "Yes... With his magic only..." Lucy said. After a moment Lucy looked over at him. "From all the pictures I saw of your grandfather he's only gotten shorter and smaller as he got older..." Lucy stated.
Laxus looked to be in thought. "I can't deny that..." Laxus finally said after a moment shaking his head.
It was quiet for a moment before Lucy's stomach growled breaking the silence. Lucy's face started to turn red.
Laxus chuckled. "Hungry there, Blondie?" Laxus asked with a smirk.
Lucy huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I told you earlier I was hungry..." Lucy said refusing to look at him.
"Alright... Let's go get some food..." Laxus said standing up and walking over to Lucy. He held out his hand to her. "Come on, then..." Laxus said.
Lucy looked at his hand then to his face then back to his hand before shrugging and taking his hand. Laxus helped her up to her feet before leading her to the door. Laxus placed Lucy's arm around his.
"We don't have to walk around like this you know..." Lucy said.
Laxus shrugged. "Keeps other females away from me... So, I'll make the sacrifice to pretend to be your husband for the time we are here..." Laxus said in a serious tone.
Lucy raised an eyebrow. "You're going to make the sacrifice?" Lucy snorted and shook her head. "Whatever you say Sparky..." Lucy said as she walked alongside him with her arm linked with his. "Just don't let Mira know... I really don't want to be killed when we get back..." Lucy mumbled.
"She won't care... Not to mention she'd kill me for not making sure you feel safe..." Laxus said with a sigh.
"No, she wouldn't... I wouldn't tell her that I was scared..." Lucy said as they reached the restaurant. "I'm a wizard... I shouldn't be scared..." Lucy muttered.
Laxus chose to ignore the comment because of how low she said it. Meaning she didn't want him to hear it. But you normally can't hide anything from a dragon slayer's ears.
When they entered the restaurant, it was like a ghost town. It gave Lucy a chill making her move closer to Laxus and grip his arm with both hands again. They looked around and saw no people. No workers. No guests.
Lucy started to tremble. Laxus pulled her closer against his side as he slid his arm out from her hands and wrapped it around her. Even he felt uncomfortable in this place. Lucy gripped onto his shirt tightly. Laxus rested his hand on the small of her back and rubbed his thumb in circles soothingly to calm her down.
Outside the fog became thicker as it flowed into the restaurant. It flowed around their feet and up Lucy's legs.
He never loved you.
"Laxus..." Lucy whispered tightening her grip on his shirt.
He hates you.
Her eyes were wide in fear. "Laxus..." She tried to say louder but it still came out as a whisper.
He chose her over you.
"You were just her replacement Luce... I'm sorry but I love her... I've never Loved you... I don't want you..." She heard Natsu's voice whisper in her ear.
Laxus looked down and saw the fear in Lucy's eyes. He picked her up bridal style before bolting out of the place not caring if he scorched the place or not. They landed outside the hotel where Laxus pulled her inside and up to their room. So far it looked like the fog couldn't reach more than the first floor. Luckily, they were on the third.
Laxus placed Lucy on the bed as she was still trembling. "Shh... It's okay..." Laxus said still rubbing her back. Lucy looked at his face. Laxus noticed her eyes were tinted purple. "Lucy are you alright?" Laxus asked.
Lucy gulped but nodded. "Yeah... It felt weird... Like it made my skin tingle..." Lucy whispered. Laxus nodded urging her to keep talking. "I heard whispering all around me..." Lucy said a bit louder as tears welled up in her eyes.
"What did they say?" Laxus asked softly still rubbing her back.
Lucy thought about it and decided to shake her head. "I d-d-don't remember..." Lucy said looking away.
She lied. But she had to. There's no way she could repeat what she heard them say. She pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She hid her face in her knees.
Laxus knew she was lying but didn't press. He sat down behind her and pulled her to him while he rested his chin on her head as he slid his hand up and down her arm.
Their hunger was now forgotten. All that remained was fear and concern.
"Let's try and get some sleep..." Laxus suggested softly. Lucy nodded but didn't say a word. "You can have the bed..." Laxus said as he was about to get up.
Lucy grabbed his arm before he could move. "Stay... Please..." Lucy pleaded, her voice small.
Laxus sighed but nodded. "Alright..." Laxus said laying both of them down.
He knew if Mira found out about this, she would definitely kill him. But right now, his partner for this mission needed the comfort. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close until he felt her stop shaking. He listened as her breathing evened out, confirming she was now asleep.
After about an hour he slowly and carefully removed his arms and himself from her. He needed to call the guild to inform them of what happened. He wasn't sure if it was a good idea to continue this mission with Lucy alone. Whatever she heard had her terrified. It unsettled him greatly.
He grabbed the lacrima comm and called the guild hoping someone was still there to answer. But the call wouldn't go through. There was too much static. Which was odd. He tried a few more times before giving up. He looked outside and saw that the purple fog was still thick and thought maybe that had to have something to do with why the Comm weren't working as they should. He'd let it go for now figuring to try later.
Laxus walked over and noticed Lucy still had her keys attached to her belt. He unhooked them and placed them on the bedside table. He sat on the bed in thought. His eyes drifted to Lucy's sleeping form and then to her keys. He touched the pouch.
"Loke..." Laxus called quietly.
He hoped the spirit would come out. And thankfully he did.
Loke's eyes were wide. "Laxus?" Loke asked in confusion.
Laxus put his finger to his mouth. "Shh... Loke..." Laxus nodded in greeting before motioning with his eyes to the sleeping girl beside him.
Loke raised an eyebrow. "Do I even want to know why you're with my master in a hotel by yourselves?" Loke asked in a whisper.
"We're on a job... So, it's not what you were probably thinking... Something happened earlier..." Laxus explained.
"I know... We could feel her fear... But something was blocking us from coming out... And it wasn't Lucy... It was something else altogether..." Loke said.
Laxus nodded. "There's some kind of purple fog floating around the town... She said that she heard people whispering in her ear but she said she didn't remember what they said... I know she was lying... But whatever it was, it terrified her..." Laxus said looking back to Lucy.
Loke nodded. "I'll stay with her if you want to go..." Loke said.
Laxus nodded. "I just need to grab a shower quick... I don't want to leave her alone though..." Laxus said.
"Go ahead... I'll stay with her..." Loke said.
"Oh! Before I forget... When I come out can you get both of us something to eat? It seems there are no people here and I would rather not take her out again..." Laxus asked.
Loke nodded. "Of course..." Loke said.
Laxus nodded and stepped into the bathroom. He turned on the water before stripping and stepping in. Surprisingly he was hard. He had no idea what caused it. But he was and it was getting painful. He wanted to groan in annoyance but he knew he couldn't go back out there like this.
He let the warm water run over him. He grabbed a hold of his hard-on and began to stroke. He thought about Mira on her hands and knees spread wide for him. He thought of her moans and screams as he pounded into her from behind. He stroked himself harder and faster typing to find his release. But for some reason, it wasn't working.
Suddenly his thoughts turned to the creamy thighs and mid-section that he saw on the train. Then the chest with the black lace that stuck out. He saw himself rubbing the soft skin of the thighs. His hand went higher pushing the white skirt up revealing a black lace-covered damp center. He pictured his thumb sliding up and down the black lace, pressing his thumb into the slick folds.
He groaned as he rested his head against the cold tiles on the bathroom wall. He continued to stroke himself picturing himself rubbing the black lace-covered clit as he slid his tongue across the exposed mid-section and the tasting sweet juicy strawberries coated in whipped cream.
"Fuck..." Laxus groaned as he felt himself getting close. "Just a little more..." He chanted in a whisper to himself.
He pictured his other hand sliding up the side on the slender waist that was covered in pink. His hand stopped at the round mounds that were covered in pink and black lace. His hand wrapped around one mound and massaged it in time with his other hand as it rubbed the soaked black lace-covered clit. Thick thighs squeezed closed around his hand trapping it causing him to press harder onto the swollen soaked clit.
"Please..." He heard a female voice beg.
He pulled the pink shirt and black lace down freeing the bouncing mounds with rosy pink hard nipples. He pinched the nipple between his thumb and forefinger and rolled it before latching his mouth onto the other. He heard a female moan as his thumb pressed and rubbed the soaked clit harder. The female's hips ground against him in time with his thumb. He felt a hand in his hair gripping and pulling his hair as he sucked on the hardened nipple.
"Cum for me..." He pictured himself saying before attacking the creamy smooth skin of a slender neck.
The earth-shattering scream of the girl, who he thought sounded a lot like Lucy, had him exploding onto the tiled wall of the bathroom.
"Fuck..." He panted as his eyes shot open realizing what he had just done. "Fuck!" Laxus groaned as he now felt ashamed that, not only did he picture Lucy but he got off on it.
How could he face Mira after this?
~~Back In The Room While Laxus Was In The Shower~~
Lucy felt a burn and itch in between her legs. Her core was throbbing for attention. She squeezed her thighs together as tight as she could rubbing them against each other. It wasn't enough. Nowhere near enough to get the release she craved at this moment.
A small moan alerted Loke to his sleeping master. His eyes went wide when he realized what she was doing. He watched her hand inch slowly over her chest and down her stomach.
"Please..." He heard Lucy softly whine.
Loke gulped as his face turned crimson. "L-L-Lucy..." Loke called out putting his hand on her arm to shake her awake.
Lucy's back arched with a small moan at the contact making Loke quickly remove his hand. Lucy's hand reached for the end of her skirt she pulled it up as her hand slid up her thigh to her soaked center. Her thumb rubbed her clit hard causing a moan to escape. Her hips moved in time with her thumb. She felt herself getting close.
Loke could only watch as his master got herself off. He fought the urge to touch her and himself. It was wrong to witness what was happening and even more wrong in wanting to join.
Aries would definitely kill him.
"Cum for me..." She heard a whisper in her ear.
That's all it took. She came with such force it caused her to scream out. Loke quickly covered her mouth with his hand to try and make sure that no one else heard. Lucy was panting a bit before she calmed down and curled into a ball.
Loke was shocked he had no clue what happened.
When in reality what happened was Lucy's Dream and Laxus' mind were one. What he was thinking was what she was dreaming.
But neither mage knew that.
Laxus stepped out of the shower and dried off. He couldn't get his mind off what just happened. He didn't understand why he pictured Lucy of all people or why that got him off better than being with Mira did before. It was mind-boggling that was for sure.
Once he was dressed, he exited only to see a sleeping Lucy and crimson-faced Loke who refused to look anywhere but the floor. Laxus tilted his head slightly in confusion. He didn't know what he just missed.
"Good! You're done! I-I-I'll have Virgo bring you both food!" Loke squeaked before disappearing.
Laxus blinked in confusion. "What the hell was that about?" Laxus muttered to himself.
But he shook his head and walked back to the bed before sitting on it. That's when his nose was hit with a strong smell of arousal. His eyes went wide as he whipped his head towards Lucy. The smell alone had his mouth watering so much that it was almost choking him.
He was itching for a taste. Something that he never even considered with Mira. Sure, Mira smelled good but not to this extent. He was at war with himself, he wanted to touch, taste, and devour every single inch of the blonde. He unconsciously licked his lips as his hand twitch to touch. The smell of her was hypnotizing and luring.
He looked her over and saw her skirt pushed all the way up to where he saw the black lace that covered her most precious hidden treasure. She was soaked. Her juices were dripping down and over her thigh.
Just one taste. What could it hurt? Just one small taste.
It was like he was in a trance as those words drifted into his mind. Warning bells were going off in his head and his gut but for some reason, his body wasn't listening. His hand inched slowly to the soaked center his fingers itching to touch and run his fingers through the wetness that was laid out for him.
The thought of Mira's smiling face flashed quickly through his mind but even that didn't have the power to stop him.
You don't love her. You don't want her. You want the one in front of you.
He heard the words go through his mind. And they were true, he didn't love or want Mira. But he did promise to make her his. Even though it's not really what he wanted.
Taste her. Touch her. Take her.
He didn't realize it when he started rubbing himself with his other hand. He was hard again. Painfully hard. The image of Cana and Lucy flashed in his mind making him groan. How badly did he want to join at that time? He would have to.
The sound of a doorbell stopped him in his tracks making him pull back from her and remove his hand from himself. He tried to control his breathing once his thoughts were no longer clouded. He looked up and saw the pink-haired maid.
Laxus cleared his throat. "Virgo, right?" Laxus asked.
Virgo nodded. "Yes, that's correct... I have brought food for you and my Princess..." Virgo said with a bow as she motioned to the table.
Laxus nodded. "Thank you... I'll wake her so she can eat..." Laxus said.
Virgo nodded. "Would that be all? Would you like to punish me for anything?" Virgo asked with a tilt of her head.
Laxus' eyes snapped to the pink-haired maid. "Um... No?" Laxus said with a raised eyebrow.
Virgo sighed in dejection. "Very well... I'll be taking my leave then..." Virgo said before disappearing.
Laxus shook his head and turned to face Lucy. He sighed before shaking her.
"Come on Blondie... Food's here..." Laxus said causing Lucy to groan in annoyance.
"What time is it?" Lucy asked her cheeks flushed as the remembrance of her dream was still in her head.
"Time to eat... You've slept for a good couple of hours Blondie..." Laxus said walking to the table and sitting down in one of the chairs.
"Only a few hours?" Lucy asked as she stretched her arms up.
Her shirt rose up with her arms exposing more of her mid-section that Laxus remembered running his tongue over in his own imagination when he was in the shower. He wanted to do that in real life so much.
He looked away. "Yeah... I think we should head out after we eat to get to the bottom of this... The purple fog and the missing people are strange and we need to figure out what's happening..." Laxus said taking a bite of a burger.
Lucy brought her arms down and nodded. "Okay... Can I get a shower first though? I feel sticky..." Lucy grumbled the last part.
Laxus had swallowed before he could choke on it at the comment. "Yup... Go head..." Laxus choked out.
Lucy nodded before getting up and grabbing a burger. She ate slowly trying to process what her dream was about. Never in her wildest dreams would she ever imagine That happening to her. And by Laxus of all people. She was seriously considering finding a psychiatrist to help her out with these thoughts.
She noticed her Lacrima Comm blinking meaning she had a few messages. She grabbed it from the bedside table and opened the one from Cana.
"Everything will be fine and will work out for the best don't worry. Enjoy the mission you're on and forget about that jackass for a while. You deserve a hell of a lot better than that douche." ~ Cana
Lucy smiled and snorted quietly while she shook her head.
"Oh, I'll try. But damn I have a lot to tell you when I get back. I feel hella dirty right now because of it." ~ Lucy
She then went to a surprising message from Gray. Which was weird since Gray never messages her. But what the messages contained had her gasping and dropping her comm.
"I'm sorry. But this is what I walked into and I thought you should know." ~ Gray
There under the message was a picture of Lisanna riding Natsu. Nastu had his arm around Lisanna's waist and one in her hair pulling her head to the side baring her neck as Natsu bit into it.
Tears welled up in Lucy's eyes as she covered her mouth. The picture was on full display on her screen. Lucy was shaking trying to hold back her tears. Never in her dreams would she actually have to see Natsu's betrayal with her own eyes.
Laxus looked over at the sound of her gasp as he saw her Comm drop to the floor with the screen facing up. He was confused until he saw what was on the screen. He ended up spitting out the drink that he had just taken before grabbing the Comm off the floor. He growled before sending it to himself. He knew exactly what he was going to do with it.
Laxus put the Comm on the table after turning off the screen. He kneeled next to Lucy and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Go get a shower... Don't worry about this right now... Remember what I said, he doesn't deserve your tears..." Laxus said motioning with his head towards the shower.
Lucy was mute but nodded slowly getting up and making her way to the bathroom. Once Lucy was out of range, Laxus was furious. He looked out the window to see the purple fog was barely there. He decided to send the picture to Mira. He was going to let her deal with her sister now. He would deal with Lucy.
To his surprise, Mira answered back.
"What the hell!? How did you get that?!" ~ Mira
Laxus snorted.
"Gray sent it to Lucy. I sent it to myself and then sent it to you. You can deal with your sister now. I've got a horrified Blondie to deal with now." ~ Laxus
"Oh, Dear! Please take care of her Laxus. This must have really upset her. Believe me, I'll be talking to my sister about this. What she just did was wrong on so many levels." ~ Mira
"Good. I won't be able to contact you in a while. There's a purple fog that prevents communication from time to time. If you could send back-up that'd be great." ~ Laxus
After he sent that message, he put the comm away. He now had to deal with a really upset Celestial mage. And he had no idea how to do that.
~~With Team Natsu – Hours Earlier~~
"Natsu! Come on! Please mark me..." Lisanna pouted.
"I can't Lis, not until after I talk to Luce... This isn't fair to her..." Natsu said as he slumped on the sofa in the hotel room.
"Why did you even ask her to be your girlfriend if I was your mate?" Lisanna asked.
Natsu sighed and rubbed his temples. "I didn't know you were until recently... And when you came back from the one job with Juvia, I had already asked her... Once you came back is when I realized it... I was going to tell Luce then but she was so happy, I couldn't... The last thing I want to do is hurt her and make her cry..." Natsu said.
"This is unfair to me Natsu, it's been months now..." Lisanna said crossing her arms over her chest. "You need to tell her... Or or or..." Lisanna was shaking with anger. "Or I'll reject you..." Lisanna snapped.
Natsu looked horrified. "Lis! You know what that would do? That would not just hurt me but hurt you!" Natsu growled.
"I don't care right now... You promised to tell her and you haven't... I've waited and waited, I'm done waiting! Either mark me or I'll reject you... Your choice!" Lisanna snapped.
Natsu gulped. "Fine..." Natsu said before getting up to get his comm. 'I'm so sorry Luce...' Natsu said internally.
"We'll be back tomorrow. I can't wait to see you. I miss you. I have something I need to talk to you about that's super important. Love you." ~ Natsu
He knew he couldn't tell her through a message, that would be more than wrong. He would tell her in person and Lisanna would have to just wait till they returned for it to happen.
That's when his comm dinged.
"Sorry on a job. Won't be back for a while. Have fun with Lisanna." ~ Lucy
He didn't realize Lisanna was looking over his shoulder at the time so she saw the message he sent to Lucy and the message that she sent back. The message seemed cruel in a sense to him. He couldn't understand why he felt that it was more a snap at him than just a simple comment.
"Wow... That sounded harsh..." Lisanna commented. "Well, I guess we don't need to wait now do we?" Lisanna asked.
Natsu felt conflicted but he guessed Lisanna was right. If Lucy did know then there's no reason to wait or hide it anymore.
Natsu nodded. "I guess you're right..." Natsu said even though it didn't feel right to him.
"The others will be back within the hour... We don't have much time..." Lisanna said dropping her dress to the floor.
Natsu's eyes widened and he couldn't fight the urge once he saw the full nakedness of his mate's body. Natsu growled before he pounced on her making her squeal in surprise. He crashed his lips onto her before his tongue invaded her mouth. Natsu lowered his pants to around his knees as he sat down with Lisanna on his lap. He lowered her onto him as he entered her easily.
Lisanna felt so full as she lifted herself and lowered herself down over and over on him. She went faster as Natsu thrust upwards harder every time she lowered herself down onto him. He ripped moans and screams from her lips. He snaked his arm around her waist to hold her in place as he pounded upward hitting her deeper and deeper, harder and harder.
His one hand threaded through her hair before he gripped it tight. He felt his balls tighten, he knew he was close. He pulled Lisanna's head to the side to bare her neck to him. Just as he was sinking his teeth into her neck the door opened. His eyes lifted as his jaw clamped closed on the exposed flesh on Lisanna's neck.
There stood Gray and Erza. Gray's face showed disgust and anger as Gray lifted his Comm and snapped a picture before typing something. Erza's face showed anger and disappointment.
Even though Natsu's heart felt like it was going to shatter because he knew, he just knew, Gray sent that picture to Lucy, he couldn't stop himself. The dragon part of him took over sending his magic coursing through Lisanna's veins as he emptied himself inside her convulsing core.
Natsu unlatched his teeth from Lisanna's neck as she was panting and sweating from the burn of the Fire dragon slayer magic that was released into her. She rested her forehead against his shoulder. Not realizing the company that was behind them. Lisanna finally felt whole.
So did Natsu, but at what cost?
"Finally..." Lisanna whispered as she felt herself drifting off to sleep.
"Finally, what? You're finally happy that he destroyed someone else's relationship for your own selfishness?" Gray spat startling her.
She whipped her head around to see the rest of Team Natsu standing at the door. She felt horrified at getting caught. She didn't want everyone to find out like this.
"It's not what you think!" Lisanna tried to plead.
"Don't worry, I informed Lucy for both of you..." Gray spat turning around and leaving the room.
Natsu paled at that. "You didn't..." Natsu asked even though he knew it was true.
"He did... He sent the picture he just took of both of you to Lucy just now..." Erza said shaking her head in disappointment. "When we return, team Natsu will be no more... Well, at least I won't be a part of it anymore and I doubt Lucy will either... You should have really considered other people's feelings before your own..." Erza added before turning away. She stopped and turned back to face them. "I'll be getting a new room... Both of you traitors can share this one..." Erza said before walking fully away.
"What have I done?!" Natsu whispered in disbelief.
Lisanna felt ashamed but not that ashamed. "What are you saying Natsu?" Lisanna asked tears welling up in her eyes.
"I'm saying we should have waited like I originally wanted to..." Natsu said pushing her off him and onto the floor.
"Natsu... You were going to tell her anyway... So, what's the big deal?" Lisanna asked grabbing her dress before standing up.
"I wanted to tell her... Not have someone send a picture of us fucking to her! Do you know how hurt she will be?!" Natsu snapped.
"Who cares!? It's been months! You should have told her right away! Not let it drag out like this! This is your fault, not mine!" Lisanna cried.
"No... You should have listened to me..." Natsu said walking to the door.
"Where are you going!?" Lisanna cried.
"Out... I need to clear my head and think..." Natsu said before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.
He really got himself into a hole this time that's for sure.
Lisanna sat on the bed and cried for some time before her Comm went off. She didn't want to get it but she knew whoever it was wouldn't leave her alone till she answered them considering it went off 3 more times after that.
"What the hell do you think you are doing! Do you even care about your guild mates?!" ~ Mira
"How could you hurt Lucy like this?! What did she ever do to you?!" ~ Mira
"She had to leave on a mission because of what you and Natsu were doing to her! How could you!?" ~ Mira
Then there was a picture of Mira's screen with the picture that Gray sent to Lucy. But what was weird was that it was sent from Laxus' comm to Mira.
"Is this how you respect your guild mates? Steal their boyfriends and help them cheat? I can't believe how shameful you have become! I'm disgusted with you!" ~ Mira.
Shameful. Disgusted.
This is how her own sister felt about her right now? What has she done?
She never meant for this to happen but she was tired of waiting. Natsu said they were mates. But he was still sleeping at Lucy's some nights. And still acting like her boyfriend in front of her. She was just tired of it. Natsu was hers. Now she had the mark to prove it.
And there was no way that anyone would take him away from her now.
~~With Lucy and Laxus~~
Lucy stepped out of the bathroom in new clothes and her hair still dripping wet. She looked like she was in a daze. She walked to the bed and sat down still staring at the floor lost in her own mind. She couldn't get that picture out of her head. Nor the whispers she heard earlier.
"Hey... Are you okay?" Laxus asked placing a hand on her shoulder that startled her out of her thoughts.
Lucy snapped her head to his once she heard his voice. "Y-Y-Yeah... Why wouldn't I be?" Lucy said with a forced smile.
"Don't do that..." Laxus growled. "Don't act like you're fine when everyone knows you're not..." Laxus said with a sigh.
Lucy nodded. "I'll be fine... I shouldn't have reacted that way honestly... I've known for a while... I guess seeing it means it's real and I can't lie to myself about it anymore..." Lucy said with a shrug.
Laxus sighed. "They were wrong... They shouldn't have done this to you but... From what I saw, it looks like she's his mate..." Laxus explained.
"I guess it makes sense... Levy said she was Gajeel's mate but he was being a complete asswipe about it..." Lucy said.
Laxus chuckled. "It's Gajeel, what do you expect? He's not exactly the gentlest guy out there..." Laxus said nudging her with his elbow.
"I guess you're right..." Lucy said pushing a piece of her hair behind her ear.
Laxus got up and grabbed a towel before walking over and sitting behind Lucy. He dropped the towel on her head and began gently drying her hair.
"If we're going outside, it's better for your hair to be dry instead of wet..." Laxus said.
"Since when do you dry people's hair?" Lucy asked amused slightly.
"Evergreen and Mira both have long hair... Oh and Freed... They can't always reach the ends of their hair... So, I'm stuck helping them half the time..." Laxus explained before taking the towel from her head. "There that should do it..." Laxus said getting up to throw the towel in the dirty laundry pile.
Lucy nodded shyly as her face flushed. "Thanks..." Lucy said.
"You're welcome... Now let's go get some bad guys... What do you say?" Laxus asked.
Lucy nodded with a smile. "Yeah! Let's go!"
Okay, so that's the edited version. Hope you enjoyed it!
