The team arrived in Vietnam that night. They immediately went up to the monestary that Hetty pointed them to.

'Is this woman here? We're here to see her.' Calen asked when he showed a picture of Hetty to a monk.

'Yes, she is. She's asleep right now and cannot be disturbed.' The monk replied.

'Is she okay?'

'She's ill, running a fever, and an upset stomach, she'll be okay, but she needs her rest.'

'Can we at least see her? We've been traveling all day so we can find her and bring her home.' Callen asked.

'You can, just don't disturb her, and she won't be able to go home until she's feeling better.' The monk replied.

The monk led the team to Hetty's room.

'Oh wow. She looks so weak.' Kensi whispered.

'She's been resting most of the day, and she's slowly getting better. But it may be a few days before she's better.' The monk said.

'Thank you.' Callen replied.

Then the monk left and the team went to sit next to Hetty.

'Hetty, I'm here. And everyone else is as well.' Callen whispered.

At 1 point, Jack came in.

'Oh! You must be the calvery.' He said.

'Depends. Who are you?' Callen asked.

'I'm Jack. I've known Miss Lange for a few months. If you all want to step outside, I'll tell you everything that's happened.'

They stepped outside, and Jack told them everything that happened.

'Oh my gosh.' Callen gasped.

'Yeah, it's not pretty. Your friend is a real fighter, the strongest I've ever seen.' Javk replied.

'Just out of curiosity, why were you even in that camp anyways?' Deeks asked.

'I've been there against my will for years, I was only kept alive for so long because of my nursing ability.'

'Is Keane here also?' Sam asked.

'Yes, he's in another room.'

After their conversation wrapped, the team went back to Hetty's side.

'Oh Hetty.' Holding her hand. 'I'm so sorry about all of this.' Callen unhappily thought.

The next morning

Callen awoke to see Hetty moving about.

'Hetty?'

'Callen?' She sleepily said. 'You're really here?'

Squeezing her hand. 'Yes, I'm here, Mom!'

Then they shared an emotional hug.

Resting her hand on his shoulder. 'I've missed you so much!' Hetty softly said.

'I did too. Sniff. I did too.' Callen emotionally replied.

The whole team stayed close to Hetty that day, giving hugs and kisses, squeezing her hands.

Callen stayed by her side all day. He helped her eat (actually, she could eat on her own just fine, she just liked the thought of her surrogate son feeding her.), comforted her when she had to throw up once, and even sang to her to help her go to sleep.

Callen finally went to take a break to let Kensi sit up with Hetty. One of the monks noticed Callen relaxing and went to talk to him.

'You seem very attached to Miss Lange.' He said.

'Oh, she's very important to me and my friends. Me especially.' Callen replied.

'Must be tough to see her like this.'

'It is. But helping to make her feel better feels very good!'

'Hmm. You have a good heart. Miss Lange does too. I can see why she looks at all of you with such love and affection.' The Monk replied.

Callen chuckled. 'Did Hetty teach you all to be as wise and all knowing as she is?'

'No. We teach ourselves that. But yes, your friend is very wise. She deserves friends like you all.'

Hearing those words made Callen feel very good inside. After a bit, he went back to Hetty's side, and saw she was still sleeping peacefully.

'Sleep well, Mom.' He thought, happy. Then he went to sleep.
