After a few more days of recovery, Hetty was able to go home with her team.

When they got back to LA, Callen asked her where she would like to go.

'Home. Please take me home.' She replied.

On the way to Dovecote, Callen noticed her happiness and slight sadness at seeing all the sights.

'Feels nice to be back on familiar ground?' He kindly asked.

'Yeah. Some part of me didn't think I'd ever be here again at some point.' Hetty replied.

Rubbing her arm. 'Hey. You're here now. Everything's okay now.'

Giving a soft smile. 'I know, I know.'

At Dovecote

'Feels almost surreal to be back home.' Hetty said when she saw her home.

'Wait, you live here?' Keane asked.

'Yes. I've had this place for many years.'

'Who did you have to play poker with tio win this place?'

Hetty giggled.

'Well, you'll be glad to know that I had Nell and Eric clean up this place. They'll be by for a visit in the next couple of days.' Callen replied.

'That was nice of them.'

When they got inside, Hetty noticed the bag of fruit and a nice note attached.

'We're so relieved that you're okay! We hope to come see you soon, Take care, we love you! Nell and Eric.'

'Ohhh. How nice!' Hetty said, touched.

'Your room is still the same. Nell even had a few of your outifits pressed.'

'Oh, it will be so nice to have something clean to wear! And to finally have glasses again!'

Then she went upstairs to her room.

'This bed feels so soft.' She thought as she ran her fingers across the bed. 'How I've missed it.'

After she changed her clothes, she went downstairs and went out to her yard. Her tables and chairs were still there, and her pool was still clean.

'I hired someone to keep your garden growing. It still looks pretty good.' Callen said.

'Thank you dear.'

Hetty went upstairs to check on Keane.

'You adjusting okay, dear?' She asked when she peaked her head into the guest room.

'Yeah. You gonna tell me how you got a house this big?' Keane asked.

'Some day. I have lots to tell you over time. In the meantime, just get comfortable.'

As the day progressed, Hetty walked through her mansion, feeling happy to be back home.

That night, Callen even made her and Keane dinner.

'Well, your friend certainly has good cooking skills.' Keane said, admiring Callen's cooking.

'I like this guy.' Callen remarked.

Hetty smiled.

Then Keane asked if he could eat in the other room.

'Don't mind him. It'll take him some time to adjust to eating with people.' Hetty said.

'You like my cooking?' Callen asked.

'Yeah. It's very good.'

'Then, if I may ask, why the sad face?'

Hetty heaved a deep sigh. 'It's, been a bit emotional for me being back home today. A part of me thought I'd never make it back here, and being here, you cooking for me. (sniff). It's making me a bit emotional.'

Callen knelt in front of her, brushed her hair to her side, looked at her softly, and said: 'Having you here has been a bit emotional for me as well. I'll help you out in anyway throughout this emotional time. And, I never stopped looking for you.'

'I know you didn't. (sniff).' Then they embraced each other in a big hug.

'I love you so much.' Hetty sniffled.

'I love you too, Hetty.' Callen replied.

'Can you do me a favor? Can you sleep next to me tonight?'

'Really? You don't mind?'

'You've been sleeping on a chair or couch for the last week, you deserve a warm bed.' Hetty insisted.

Callen appreciated her warm bed. And the fact that she seemed to be sleeping peacefully.

'Looks can be deceiving though.' He worridly thought. 'Just hope she can have an easy readjustment period.'

Then he noticed her slightly shaking. He then gently squeezed her hand, quietly shushed her, then she stopped shaking.

'Whew.' He sighed, relieved.
