Middle of March
Evening, Hetty's house
'Today was my first day back at work.' Hetty said.
'How was it?' Granger asked.
'Okay. Miss Hidoko is very nice, though. I can't really say the same for Miss Mosely.'
'Can't get used to having a new partner?'
'Not just that, it's a few other things. 1, Her new office is literally right above mine! I could hear her shoes clomping from down below! 2, she sees my team as, well. Troublesome in a way. I see them as a family.' Hetty replied.
'In other words, she's worse then me? (snicker).' Granger asked.
'Ha ha. In a way, she is. I got caught up on the last few months of case files, and listened to my team's opinions on her, and. She actually talked about breaking them up.'
'Oh dear.'
'You know, I was actually going to just hang around for the day. But now I see, they need me more then ever.' Hetty replied.
'Well, given how well we worked together, I'm sure you can handle her.'
'Yeah.'
Then Hetty went to sit on the living room couch.
'Something else up?' Granger kindly asked.
'Sigh. I guess I miss getting to call you my partner. You wouldn't hint that my team was troublesome, or that them acting like a family was a problem.' Hetty unhappily replied.
'I'd probably still think of them as delinquints, but yeah. But, you can start calling me your boyfriend, if that helps.'
Smiling. 'Mmm. Maybe in a month or 2.'
