Hello everyone, here is another one shot
This is from Roses in the Waves. Luffy is back to being 7 months old in this
I'm also trying a new format with more paragraphs, as I've gotten some feedback that it's hard to follow who speaks. I would love some feedback on how this feels, if it's easier to follow

Marco was walking through a store with a few of his family members, just checking it out. And as they were moving, Marco saw Ann moving over to a stroller, a hand moving to touch and feel it. She had a smile, and it had him move over. "Do you like it, yoi?"
Ann gave a small nod, still looking at the stroller. "I would love to have one, to just walk on the ship, on islands, and such. But, I can't afford it. But it would have been nice to not always carry Luffy, make it so he isn't dependent on being held." That was true, and it was quite expensive, but strollers were expensive. So, they continued to look around at things. Ann checking the stroller out one more time, before they left. She really wanted it, that was for sure, and he would bring the idea past Pops. Ann did have a good reason for why she could use a stroller. Luffy hated not being held, and having a stroller would mean he could be moved around without being held.
It would benefit Ann in the long run, and it also meant the baby could sleep in the stroller, so he could sleep outside, which was good for a baby, and Ann didn't need to head to her room when he needed to sleep. She needed to be away for many hours each day, alone, when Luffy slept. Yeah, she actually really needed a stroller. So when they got back to the ship and Ann left for Luffy's nap, he brought the idea up to Pops and some other commanders that were out. And, they agreed it was a good idea, especially when Marco explained why she needed it, not that it seemed he needed to do any reasoning as everyone was with him, but it made them more sure of it. So he asked Rakuyo and Izou to join him in buying it. Rakuyo since he had experience with this, more than him when it came to strollers, and Izou since he would pick the right color.
Half an hour later, they left the shop with a dark stroller for babies, which would last for a year or two, which was perfect. When they got on the boat, they quickly hid it in the meeting room for now, Izou going to wrap it a bit and put a card on it. When Ann came out an hour later, she seemed to be in a good mood, and he knew it would be even better soon. As Ann was out, Izou moved to take Luffy, so Ann had both her hands, and Marco sent Rakuyo to get the surprise. And as he was on his way, he looked at Ann. "Ann, we have a small surprise for you, yoi."
Ann blinked. "What is it? Why?"
Marco chuckled. "Because you had good reasoning, and think of it like an early birthday present."
Ann blinked. "I don't have my birthday for another half year."
Marco knew that and nodded. "I know. But it's an early one, from all of us." He knew many would still get her a present when her birthday rolled around, even him probably. They all liked Ann.
Rakuyo then came from around a corner, pushing the stroller they had bought, the top being wrapped in a blue wrapping. He was pushing it slowly so it didn't make any sound, and when he was a few feet behind Ann, he stopped, and Marco moved a hand out to it. "We bought you this, yoi."
Ann blinked, before she turned around, blinking when she saw the obvious stroller. "You- you bought me a stroller?"
Marco nodded. "We did. It's not the one you looked at, but it's what we felt fit, yoi. Check it out."
Ann nodded slowly, before she moved over and took the wrapping off. When it was, she frowned. "I didn't see this in the store."
Marco nodded. "It was in the back. But we explained what we needed, and this fit the best, yoi."
Ann nodded, moving to look at the card, which had her smile. "To the most amazing mother, from the Whitebeards. Thank you, everyone." Everyone nodded, and Ann moved a hand to push it a bit, and it was soundless, and then she checked it out inside. "It has a sleeping bag…"
Marco nodded. "We are at cold places at times, yoi. And it went with it. You need that too."
Ann nodded, moving a hand to her cheek. "I can't believe you got this for me. Thank you."
Marco chuckled. "You and Luffy are a part of our family. We want you to be comfortable here. And if you need a stroller, you need a stroller, yoi."
Ann nodded, eyes blank. "You- I- thank you."
Marco chuckled again. "It's nothing. Why don't you let Luffy try it out, yoi?" Ann nodded and moved to flick her hair over her shoulders, before she moved to grab Luffy from Izou, before she moved towards the stroller again, before she slowly moved to put Luffy down.
"Please don't cry, please don't cry." Said Ann, before Luffy was down in the stroller, and as Ann let go, Luffy started crying, and Ann hung her head with a breath, before she moved to lift Luffy again.
Rakuyo took a step forward with that. "Just put him down. He will cry for a bit, but he will stop."
Ann nodded and put Luffy down again, and he started crying the instant Ann let go. And Ann stood still for about 5 seconds, before she sighed, moving to lift Luffy again. "I don't like him crying. I'll just wait until he falls asleep."
Rakuyo nodded. "That's fine." Marco knew Rakuyo was right, but Ann clearly didn't want to have Luffy crying, which he got. So they just needed to wait until he fell asleep.
It took 3 hours, but Luffy was asleep, and Ann moved to put Luffy down in the stroller, and this time, he didn't cry, and slept on. Ann then did a bit of movement with the stroller, just to test it out, and Luffy stayed asleep. Ann then moved to take a few rounds on the boat with the stroller, having a huge smile as she did. When she got back to the main deck, she looked at them. "Thank you for this. Makes this so much easier."
Marco nodded. "I know, the reason we got it for you, yoi." Ann nodded. "Thank you, I mean it, thank you all." Everyone nodded and had a smile, seeing Ann so happy.
Luffy was asleep for 2 hours, before he woke up and started crying, and Ann moved to lift him. "Are you hungry?" Luffy still cried, and it seemed Ann took that as a yes as she moved to rest against the railing, moving her shirt up, before she started nursing Luffy. They all had gotten used to it, and no one minded it, which was good. Ann shouldn't need to hide to feed Luffy.
When Luffy was fed, Ann moved her shirt down, before she rocked Luffy and burped him, before she moved to put him down in the stroller again, but he started crying, which had Ann lift Luffy with a sigh.
But as she did, Rakuyo moved over. "No, see here." Rakuyo then took Luffy and placed him down, Luffy crying instantly. "You just place him down, place his plushie against him, pacifier in mouth, and slowly rock it a bit. And, he should calm down." Amazingly, Luffy did calm down after a minute. He was still awake, but not crying.
It had Ann move her hand to her mouth. "How did you do that? You need to teach that to me."
Rakuyo chuckled. "I just did. Just, don't overthink and let him cry for a minute."
Ann nodded. "I will try." Ann then took over rocking the stroller, Luffy awake in it as he looked around. After about 5 minutes, Rakuyo said to stop rocking it, and Luffy kept silent, even though he wasn't moving in a rocking manner, which had Ann smile. "It worked. He is silent."
Rakuyo nodded. "He is. Just let him be a baby and cry a bit. Everyone does."
Ann nodded slowly. "I don't like it. I feel so bad for him."
Rakuyo nodded. "I get it. But let him be a baby. They cry."
Ann nodded. "I will try." Rakuyo nodded, accepting that.
The rest of the day, Luffy was mostly in his stroller, Ann letting him cry a bit a few times, sometimes Luffy calmed down, sometimes he didn't and Ann lifted him up and held him until he fell asleep again and was placed in the stroller. Rakuyo also said Luffy would get used to the stroller after some days, it would take a bit of time, but it would go fine. Ann looked to be ecstatic, which he got.
It was a good day.
