Hello everyone, here is another one shot, this time from Roses in the Waves
This is Ann giving birth to Luffy

They were in the midst of a battle, and it wasn't going too well. They were doing their best, but the enemy was many and they used dirty tricks. Ann really hated that she didn't have her devil fruit, the pregnancy disabling it to not harm the baby. She was much stronger in reality. But as the battle was going south, a pain started in her abdomen. It had happened before, but please, not now. Not during battle! She needed to push through. They then, somehow, she was unsure on how, managed to win, or make the enemy flee. That had been rough, and she had taken more than one tumble and hit, and that hurt as well, but her abdomen was starting to hurt more and more.
As the battle was over, Ann moved a hand to the railing, the other to her abdomen, hoping the pain would go away. "Ann?" She heard Deuce say, and Ann just shook her head, not able to speak as the pain spiked. "Biggie!" Yelled Deuce, and the doctor was soon by her side, asking what was wrong, and Ann used a second to gather herself, before she took a shuddering breath. "It hurts!" She managed to get out. Biggie gave a worried look. "Let's get you to your room." Ann shook her head, she couldn't walk, she was in too much pain. Biggie gave a more worried look at that. "Okay, okay, just, sit down, and I'll check." That she could do, and slid down on the deck. When she was down, Biggie moved her a bit and did his best to check her lower region, before he looked shocked. "You're in labor! But the water hasn't broken! The baby is not prepared! You're early!" Oh God, was the only thing going through her mind, thinking something was wrong with the baby.
Decue moved a hand to her shoulder, looking at Biggie. "Will she be fine?" Biggie looked to be panicking, which didn't sit right. Biggie swallowed. "I don't know. I have delivered babies before, but then things were normal. This is not. I think, I think she might need a c-section. I have no idea how to perform that." That wasn't good, not at all. Ann took a breath. "Please do something!" She got out in pain, and Biggie nodded. "Okay, okay, just breathe. Deuce, take her to my room, and I'll get a book, and we need to get this baby out. Or else, she could die." That wasn't good at all, and she hoped Biggie would manage, at least save the baby. She wasn't as important.
Deuce then got her to the bedroom, before she was in the bed, and Biggie came after some minutes, which felt like hell and years, but when he got there, he had a book, and got some equipment. They didn't have a medic bay, but Biggie's room was prepared for her to give birth, the closest they had to a medic bay was this room. "I need to knock you out. You'll be fine. When you wake, you'll be a proud mother." Ann hoped so, and it wasn't long before she fell asleep with some drug, the pain slowly fading.

Ann opened her eyes, blinking. She was lying on her back in a bed it felt like, and looked around. What had happened? When she saw her slim belly, she remembered and felt her heart race as she sat up. Which was a bad idea as that hurt. And it hurt a lot. She moved a hand to her abdomen, closing her eyes in pain, before a hand was on her shoulder, looking up to see Deuce there. As she was about to speak, to ask about the baby, she noticed Biggie, who held some blankets. Was that? Before she could speak, Biggie moved a bit and showed a tiny face, and Ann felt tears in her eyes as the baby was so, just so, beautiful.
Biggie smiled at her. "It's a boy. A little healthy boy. He is early, he is, but he is fine." Ann nodded, moving her hands out to him, and Biggie walked over, handing her the baby, and Ann looked at the little bundle, feeling her heart swell in happiness. She had a healthy boy. "What will you call him?" Asked Deuce, and Ann chuckled. "Luffy. Yeah, little Luffy." Ann gave Luffy a kiss on the forehead, before she hugged him tight. Which also hurt so she gave a small whimper. Biggie moved a hand to her shoulder. "You're in pain still. I managed to do it, but the wound is not healed. Hopefully, as the baby is born, your powers will come back and heal it, as you've said you heal fast as you cauterize" Ann nodded, that sounded good. She would heal, she always had as a child and before she got pregnant and her powers disappeared. She would heal just fine, Luffy was safe and healthy. Or as healthy as Biggie could see. She knew Biggie wasn't the best doctor there was, but he was the best they had. He was good with a lot, but not pregnancies that went foul, just pregnancies that went well. But it had gone by fine, now, she just needed to heal and protect her baby, which she would do with all her might.
Luffy was just beautiful, he was her world. She had waited for this for so long, and she was happy. "You're on bedrest for a couple days," Started Biggie. "Just so we are sure you're starting to heal." Ann nodded, she could do that. Luffy was here, and that was all that mattered. Luffy was fine.
She was happy.

This was a bit short, but was what I had in mind for her birth. I am glad people like this story and want more of it, as I really like it as well
