A/N: One of the characters, Volleygun, had to be rewritten and changed in terms of the regiment of origin. Their lore doesn't feel like it matches well how I written it so I changed it to Iotan Dragons from Lambdan Lions. However, her personality and thinking will remain the same.
Apologies for the inconvenience of the sudden changes.
And enjoy the crossover!
In the 41st millenium, there was only war. No peace between the Imperium and the foes it encounters. The Astra Militarum or some would say the Imperial Guard, is the first to respond to a defense of a planet world. This can be said for the early and middle stages of the Third War of Armageddon where hundreds of regiments were deployed to defend the world against the Ork invaders initially. However, in the later stages Armageddon was cut off by the Noctis Aeterna and daemonic entities as well as Heretic Astartes joined the fight to worship their gods through wanton slaughter or use of forbidden powers.
In the midst of the fighting, four unnamed troopers banded together as they were separated from their squads or were the last one left from their decimated squad. One from the Cadian Kasrkin, one from Catachan Jungle Fighters, one from Armageddon Steel Legion and one from Militarum Tempestus, specifically the 43rd Iotan Dragons. Each had their own specialties of combat and personalities, but they fought the incoming daemonic horde as if they were brothers-in-arms.
They tried to fall back to a position to avoid getting overwhelmed but soon realized that they were surrounded. So, they start shooting the daemons that were the closest to them.
Understanding that they will not be rescued nor will they come out alive, they choose to hold their ground and fight to the bitter end rather than surrender to the enemy.
"Ave Imperator", the troopers shouted the warcry, excluding the Tempestus Scion who choose not to say anything but continued to fire his modified hotshot volley-gun at the targets.
The Steel Legion sergeant fired a few shots into the closest daemon with his bolt pistol taking down one before it got into close quarters. The others fired their weapons as well with varying results as they weren't bringing down their targets as fast as they were approaching them.
"Tch!" The Iotan Dragon mutters as if he was not sure whether to be annoyed with the not so good shooting from the others or the targets not going down after a volley of shots. He could've taken down more than a dozen of them by now, although he shouldn't even be in this situation in the first place.
"If you have enough energy to express your annoyance, by the frakking Emperor's will, fire your damn weapon.", the Kasrkin barked at the scion, as he kept on shooting his plasma gun. Any targets that he aimed his plasma gun at were vaporized by the explosion of a plasma ball that comes out of the gun.
The Iotan Dragon reluctantly grunted as if he had no other choice.
Meanwhile, the Catachan kept on shooting his lascarbine at the targets wounding one while he threw grenades all over them. It didn't kill them but they did slow them down.
The daemons charged at them and while some were cut down due to overwatch from the plasma gun of the Kasrkin and the volley-gun of the Tempestus Scion.
Three of the Khornate daemons managed to get into close combat and inflicted mortal wounds on the Steel Legion Sergeant before he could strike them with his chainsword.
Before he surrendered himself to death, the Steel Legion made one more surge of strength and lashed out at a daemon with his chainsword in pure rage. The chainsword went through the daemon and seemingly killed it. The sergeant collapsed and let out one last breathe before he finally stopped breathing.
The Kasrkin and the Scion took out their knives, bayonet or pistols in an attempt to perform close quarter combat on the daemons which it had little to no effect on the daemons. It was all for naught as the Kasrkin was stabbed 3 times a few seconds later which kills him instantly while the Scion was struck by unholy powers of the warp from Tzeentchian daemons.
The Iotan Dragon let loose a few shots from his hotshot laspistol before being struck by a psychic power from the daemon. The shots flew into two daemons, one that was charging and the other that casted the psychic power. It killed the one that casted the power while it wounded the other.
He was struck by the psychic power then collapsed, not a second later, as half his body was turned to ashes.
The Catachan, seeing as he is next to die, grabbed every grenade he had on him, prepared to set them off and shouted, "If I die here, I will take you down with me!". The daemons charged at him, and he set the grenades off. Before the daemons could inflict any wounds on him, the grenades exploded, killing the Catachan and the surrounding daemons. A cloud of smoke and dust settled in a few seconds after the somewhat sizable explosion.
After the smoke and dust cleared, there was nothing left of the Catachan nor the surrounding daemons. The remaining horde was temporarily dazed but recovered quickly.
They proceeded to move out to search for new prey to slaughter for their gods. However, someone woth a golden-like aura had a plan in the making and so with a few words spoken, a psychic force is casted. The war-gears and equipment of the troopers disappeared to a different reality.
The fallen troopers were left alone to finally rest. Perhaps, the God Emperor let them rest after their service or their souls were in damnation to Chaos.
They were never heard of again nor were they accounted for while the war raged on around them. Nevertheless, they were listed as killed in action with the others that have fallen and were honored as a part of the many unnamed heroes of Armageddon.
Tales of how they fought side by side against the daemonic horrors rose and at the same time raised the morale of the deployed regiments to fight their daemonic enemies while fighting or reluctantly allying with the Ork.
11:50 AM in another universe
It's another busy day for I.O.P Manufacturing Company.
The present researchers in the were mostly upgrading or fixing certain issues with I.O.P cores. The workers on duty now were performing maintenance or operating machines that needs to be operational. There were T-Dolls or Tactical Dolls in different part of the facility being tested to see if they were back to fully operational status.
They were going to be sent back to Griffin & Kryuger, a Private Military Company, as a rebuilt echelon after some their cores were salvaged not so long ago. For now, they'll just wait until the evaluation process is done before they can go back. Some even have to be rebuilt due to extensive damage to their cores that requires a complete replacement.
It was in the middle of rebuilding more T-Dolls that were lost in a costly operation in Talinn.
A pink-haired scientist researcher from 16Lab with cat ears seems to be overlooking the new batch of T-Dolls being manufactured and reprogrammed with a few researchers on duty. The rest of the researchers went off to having a lunch break
The name of the researcher named Persica, who happened to personally create the Anti-Rain Team which is a team of elite T-Dolls high operational performance and a greater degree of autonomy compared to other T-Doll teams.
She is a Tactical Doll as well as a founder and director of 16Lab, in which they are responsible for developing most of the advanced technology used by modern T-Dolls.
She is currently overlooking the new batch of T-Dolls. She choose to stay behind to continue working on the new batch rather than have a lunch break with her colleagues or her fellow researchers.
She prefers working on dolls more closely than socializing with her peers. Although she does take time off from her work to talk others either personally or through video calls.
Some prefers to be isolated to their workplace than be social.
Persica lazily stated to herself, "I cheeecked each and every machine to be sure that they are following the specific specs, I might need my third cup of coffee so-."
As if Murphy's law decided to act now, four of the machines started to malfunction and the specifications set by Persica were changed to a foreign specification. She stopped her sentence to notice the four machines beginning to malfunction and tried to readjust it on a device, but it didn't work. She went to the control panels to halt the machines a few times, but it proved unsuccessful as they went out of control.
"Turn off the generators powering the machines, now.", Persica ordered as her lazy mood changed to a serious one.
As soon as she said that the nearest I.O.P employee flipped the switch off but it did not stop the four machines from continuing to work until it started powering down a few minutes after. Some of the I.O.P employees and researchers including Persica approached the machines to investigate what went wrong and some were shocked to see the result of the malfunction.
A few T-Dolls that have been recently reprogrammed from civilian purpose have entered the scene first with the closest I.O.P employees, with their weapons, as there was an emergency and luckily for them, nothing bad happened. However, it did leave them confused as they noticed the strange looking T-Dolls as they looked like they didn't belong here.
The first T-Doll that showed up is P90. She has light brown hair that is short. The way she tied up her hair into buns almost gives her the appearance of a squirrel. She wears a tube top clothing, short pencil skirt, big jacket and a lot of tactical rigging. Her attitude upon seeing the new T-Dolls is full of excited curiosity.
Second, a tall golden brunette T-Doll went beside the first T-Doll to see what is going on. This is Grizzly MkV, the leader of Echelon 4. Her hair was short above her shoulder. She wore a fur-trimmed blue jacket vest over a white high cut blouse. Brown work boots, jean shorts along with leather accessories on her were a part of her outfit. Her face was more focused on analyzing the new T-Dolls with her mind focusing on them.
Lastly, is a long silver T-Doll with red eyes was behind the first two T-Dolls. She's G36c who happened to be peeking at the ongoing gathering. She has a strip of hair on her left that is tied into a braid. She wears some aspects of a German military uniform such as the color, the pocket layout and her coat. The expression on face is more on hesitation and some sense of trepid upon viewing the the new T-Dolls.
"Hey, look at them," P90 excitedly states. "They look like a rag-tag group of military T-Dolls," she added.
"Look at the dark green one, she looks heavily armored and bulky as well.", A T-Doll with a Grizzly MkV remarked, as she points at one of the new T-Dolls. "So much equipment on her, I wonder how she became that," she added, like there's more to them than meets the eye.
"A-Are we going to have to work with them?" G36c timidly spoke with utmost concern as she looked at the new T-Dolls then at the T-Dolls beside her.
Unfortunately, none of the present T-Dolls could answer her question. This made her a bit more nervous as some of the strange T-Dolls looked intimidating as they were taller than her.
A few more people and T-Dolls entered the vicinity and had mixed reactions upon seeing the strange T-Dolls.
First T-Doll is AUG, who has long bleached hair, tightened up to the side by a large flower ribbon. She has a beauty mark below her right eye and her golden-colored pupils. She wears a dark themed outfit which suits her appearance. Her facial expression at the ongoing event is emotionless but she gives a pointed stare at the source of the confusion as if there is something up with the new T-Dolls.
Second is T-Doll that was fairly taller than the other T-Dolls that showed up. She had long snow colored hair and a pair of blood red eyes. She wore a white military style outfit, an officer's jacket and a trench-coat with black and white bows tied at the hem. She looked like she came from the bright glory days of Austria-Hungary. She is known as IWS 2000, a visually imposing T-Doll if it weren't for her being an absolute klutz.
Her facial expression seemingly changed to that of a nervous one when she looked at where everyone was looking at.
The last doll in the next batch is K11, the grenadier of Echelon 4. She looks like she was the most chaotic in the group. She has blue hair, tied into a messy ponytail using a battery clip, and violet tinted eyes. The overcoat she poorly wears, a glove on one hand, unzipped short shorts and unbuttoned white dress shirt makes her appearance scream of chaos. Her slightly unhinged smile appeared on her face as she looked at where everyone is staring at.
AUG didn't react much or care about the strange new T-Dolls, but she took some glances at them as if she was wary of them.
IWS-2000 was partially shaking as she was unsure what to think. "W-W-What are they?", IWS-2000 timidly asks, still looking at the new T-Dolls.
"Military type T-Dolls.", AUG responded with no emotions.
"Oh sweet, those newcomers look like they can have fun destroying stuff." K11 excitedly states. "Even their weapons look like they can destroy stuff. This. is. going. to. be. awesome.", she adds in as she points at the unknown weapons.
Some personnel went to check on the machines that malfunctioned earlier, while some went to chat with others about what just happened. The present T-Dolls either talked to each other while glancing and looking at the unknown T-Dolls or went close to poke, inspect the equipment and check if they have a presence in the neural cloud.
They discovered that the four dolls that were made looked as if they didn't belong to the current time. Even one of them has muscles with a tattoo of a skull on the left arm. The weapons and insignias were unknown to the present I.O.P personnel, including Persica.
Persica researched a bit into the symbol of the aquila and skull with wings using the device on her hand. She couldn't find the meaning for the latter except a phrase, "Memento Mori," which she suspects isn't the true meaning of that symbol. She did however find a twin-headed symbol that looked like the Austrian version of it.
Except that this symbol had one eye open on its left, while the other had none on her right. According to some sources that she looked around, she assumed that these T-Dolls were from one of the factions of the Imperium of Man.
Further research led her to know that A.I. were banned and these T-Dolls were modeled after some regiments of the Astra Militarum or Imperial Guard which the skull and wings symbol represented. She decided to keep that information to herself as she didn't want anyone else but her to know that, for now.
While the T-Dolls check out the new T-Dolls or chat with each other. Persica went up close to inspect and to check her device if these strange T-Dolls have anything weird in their neural clouds.
The one thing that stood out is how imposingly tall they were. If her height measurements were right, they were around 6 foot tall. This makes them the tallest dolls that she encountered.
She checked the first T-Doll. Her clothes and armor in which one of them reminded her of RO635 MOD3, a T-Doll from Anti-Rain, with the difference is the color tone in which the trench coat is a classic yellow while RO's raincoat is normal yellow.
RO635 is an SMG T-Doll that has orange and yellow heterochromia eyes. She has a long black hair with a strip of white hair at the right of her face. She has a name tag, hooded coat and speaker phone in her possession. She has a half-face gas mask with her at all times and also carries a sling bag.
This T-Doll has short blonde hair and has a slightly pale skin. She also has short eyelashes and a fairly young face even though she's a military T-Doll. Persica sighed a bit before moving on.
"Who could've wanted them to be made here?". Persica softly asked herself, hoping that someone could give her an answer. No one can give her an answer.
The T-Doll also came with a dark grey helmet with goggles on it. A gas mask, leather gloves and boots were also a part of it.
Persica deducted that this T-Doll was used to living in a polluted or gas filled environment where inhaling the air is toxic and can suffocate someone to death. It could be that these were the standard uniform of a regimen she never heard of.
She checked the weapons and was interested that it came with two weapons, a large sword with a sharp row of steel teeth as if it were a chainsaw.
She asked one of the present T-Dolls, Grizzly MkV to carry and activate the melee weapon. Grizzly complied with her request and carried the weapon, in which she didn't find it heavy.
She touched and looked for the switch to turn on the strange weapon. When she did so, she pointed it at a direction that no one will be hurt.
She turned on the switch and the sound the weapon makes is that of a chainsaw. Starting from a soft purr to a loud roar.
She deactivated it after a minute of operating it. She placed the weapon back to where she picked it up and walked away back to the group of T-Dolls. Such a weird but effective weapon when used in melee.
Persica looked at Grizzly and said, "Thank you!". Grizzly gave her a thumbs up and a smile, as she was happy to help her. She also happy to get the chance to try something new for once in a while.
Subsequently, Persica moved to the next weapon that came with the strange chainsaw like weapon.
It is a large boxy pistol that she finds a bit too heavy after trying to carry it on one hand. It came with large rounds that she didn't know what they were, but it looked like 40mm grenade launcher rounds used by M4 SopMod II, another member of Anti-Rain.
She assumed that this T-Doll is meant for leading a squad or is close quarters focused based on the weaponry.
Next to the first T-Doll, this T-Doll made her and some people uncomfortable. There was still some lingering memories of the atrocities committed by the KCCO.
Persica was reminded of the dark green armor of KCCO even though the one that she is looking at is different by its looks. The armor for the chest, torso and hips seem to protect all sides of the user. In contrast, the armor from thighs to legs only cover the front portion. Most likely to not slow down the wearer.
The facial features were a bit sharper and she had braided brown hair. Her face looked like she has seen a lot in her lifetime before being ending up here.
The fatigues she wears from top to bottom were of a tortilla brown color scheme. There was a chest-plate armor with rounded pauldrons to cover the shoulder. Persica noted that there is additional armor for the front thigh and knee, in which they're attachable and served to protect the user from getting immobilized if a stray shot hit the legs.
She grabbed the helmet and inspected it. It looked like a motorcycle helmet except that it felt sturdier. It also looks like it had a breathing module on it should it be used for deploying into dangerous zones. Maybe it can useful for safely entering contaminated areas such as red zones.
One important detail she also noticed on the helmet is that it had a targeter on the left side of the helmet. It looked fairly advanced and it seems to aid the doll in aiming.
Persica evaluated the weapons and was astonished to see a laser gun. It has two wires attached on where the mag is supposed to be, it leads to what seems to be a external battery pack on a backpack. Another weapon that she was inspecting is what seems to be a plasma gun of unknown design, function and origin. It is different to the design and function of the Sangvis Ferri versions of a plasma gun. Last but not the least, a laser pistol as a secondary weapon.
She checked the contents of the backpack and deducted that they were spare parts for the main weapon and extra mags as well. There were some field supplies in there should the mysterious T-Doll be deployed for long periods of time.
Persica initially deducted that this T-Doll is focused for anti-elite or secondary anti-tank fire support based on the secondary weapon.
She honestly thought that this doll was a born soldier with all the equipment on her.
As she proceeded to the next mysterious T-Doll, she could feel the chilly tile of the floor with her bare feet getting colder as she got closer. Its almost as if the T-Doll that came out of the machine has a cold aura around her even if she hasn't been activated yet.
Usually, Persica would be unaffected by the personality of a T-Doll. However, this one exudes a very cold aura that Persica never felt before.
Unfortunately for her, she isn't the only one feeling the aura. Some of the I.O.P employees and T-Dolls tried to approach it but the aura that was exuded was too overwhelming for them. It's like they can feel fear from it.
For that reason, she slowly approached it to evaluate what it has and what it could be.
In contrast to the armor used by the previous T-Doll, this one is more rounded and is mostly colored with a dark grey blue with light silver on the edges. Underneath the armor, the doll wears a dark black-ish grey fatigues.
This T-Doll has dark raven hair, tied into a ponytail. This one has a scar across the left cheek and a round face. For some peculiar reasons, a red beret is given rather than a mask or a helmet.
Perhaps she one in her backpack.
She also noticed the symbol of a white and red pattern shield on the right pauldron. Persica thinks that it could be a symbol of a possible smaller military organization from within the 'Imperium of Man', that the T-Doll originated from. It could be possible what someone was from their previous lives but it sounded ridiculous as a theory.
The equipment she noticed, that they are weapons meant for an elite special force. One of the weapons which looks like a specialized machine gun that fires a volley of lasers and is attached by external wires to the external battery on the backpack. The other weapon is what seems to be a laser pistol as a secondary weapon.
Persica initially deducts that this T-Doll is the 2nd specialist gunner except she is geared for anti-infantry since her weapon shoots a volley of lasers and can suppress light infantry. Similar to the role of a machine gun T-doll.
Whereas the previous three had more clothing or armor on them, the last T-Doll wears the least amount of clothing. Probably to be better at stealth.
She noticed that it is wearing bottom forest fatigues while the top is a light grey tank top.
This T-Doll has short redhead hair and a face that could have been someone from the US. This one had a noticeable feature is that she had a bit more muscle than the previous T-Dolls. It is also wearing a bandana on the forehead and has a tattoo of a skull with wings on the left arm.
She inspected the weapons and concluded that this T-Doll seems to focus on ambush and brute strength. Her muscles were a bit more than the average female bodybuilder.
A standard issue laser rifle of what she assumes is the primary weapon for the non-elite troops or only for her.
A large and sharp combat knife. A deadly weapon that she unsheathes whenever she gets into close quarters or ambushes someone.
Persica feels bad for whoever is the receiving end of that large knife.
There was also an unknown sack that was part of her equipment. Persia, to her curiosity, carefully opened the sack to find demolition charges and a lot of frag grenades in it.
She immediately closed the sack back as if she shouldn't have opened it. Thankfully, no explosives were triggered when she was closing the sack back up.
This made her think that this one is modeled after Vietnam War Americans. This T-Doll however, looks to be gung-ho in her approach of close quarters.
After Persica checked the neural clouds of each T-Dolls, she was shocked to find out that their neural clouds are completely different. They don't seem to match the neural clouds of the ordinary T-Doll nor are they the same to Anti-Rain.
It was almost rare for her to see new T-Dolls that have better neural clouds or advanced systems. Apart from the new elite team of T-Dolls that was made by a not-so-likable creator, these brand new T-Dolls look fairly advanced and it'd be a shame to not look into them.
In her perspective, the neural clouds look like a much more complicated when looking up close. They contain a lot of info that could really benefit her and G as they can be used to improve or create better T-Dolls.
"I miiiiiight need to contact GnK for this and I think I need more coffee." Persica stated, as she rubs her eyes and yawns. She brings out her phone and immediately dials a call number she knows very well.
The phone call sound plays for a few seconds until the person she is calling responds. "Hello Persica, is it not a bit too early to call me and did you find something to mess around with?". The other person with a British accent asked professionally.
"Helian, I think G & K needs to have an important meeting at this time, now.", Persica stated in a serious tone.
Author's Notes:
Hello everyone, this is KnightlyBlade. It's my first time making a fanfiction crossover. I apologize if I got any details wrong, I might've been incomplete with research into some lore of Warhammer 40K. I did try my best to make a crossover with GFL and Warhammer 40K. For now, this will be a side project for me but if I enjoy it, I'll make another chapter.
Peace out, everyone. The Emperor Protects!
