When Rose arrived in the common room after waking up, Harry had already gone to breakfast but Fred was waiting for her, like he had promised her and like he often did. Sometimes his brother was waiting with him but this time, he had gone down with Angelina and Lee.

"Why do you need to talk to Harry so badly by the way? You looked pissed at him last night. What did he do?" he asked her.

"It's not what he did, it's what he's about to do. Cho. She's wrong for him and if he really goes out with her, he'll only end up making a fool of himself or getting hurt, or both. She's playing him." Rose replied.

"You'd rather he dated Ginny?" Fred asked her with a small smile.

"Wouldn't you rather see Ginny with Harry rather than Michel Corner or the other idiots pinning for her?"

"You have a point. I at least like Harry, I wouldn't feel the urge to hex him 5 times a day and he would make Ginny much happier." Fred nodded.

When they entered the Great hall, Rose could see Harry sitting by Ron's side, facing Cho Chang and smiling at her. Just when she arrived, Cho waved at Harry, taking a fake shy face and Ginny looked about ready to commit a murder or vomit (or both).

"Harry James Potter! We need to talk! Now!" She exclaimed, getting a few looks her way as her voice boomed through the Great Hall.

She realized that she must look like her mother when she was angry at that moment and remind her brother's godfather of old times because he smirked, just like Hagrid, Dumbledore and McGonagall. She brushed it off, right now, she had a mission: help her brother make better dating decisions, even though it probably shouldn't concern her that much. Was it even her place to get involved? Well, she decided to make it hers.

"What did you do?" Ron asked Harry, worried.

"I don't know, but she looks angry, I should go see what it is about." Harry replied while Fred gave Rose a quick kiss and went to save her a seat.

As he walked past Harry, Fred smiled and whispered "Good luck!" to him.

.

"She looks like Lily when she's angry." Sirius declared with a nostalgic smile.

"Yes, she does. There's no denying who her mother is." Snape muttered, thinking that he'd do anything to have Lily back, even if it was so she could look at him this way.

"I wonder what he did to anger her so much." Albus whispered.

He hated not knowing and none of the portraits or ghosts reported anything to him about this. He was curious. Probably more curious than he should be.

"10 Gallions that she ends up hexing him." Sirius offered to the headmaster.

"Sirius!" McGonagall complained, rolling her eyes before she added: "You're supposed to be a responsible adult!"

"Whoever told you or gave you the idea that I was ever responsible?" Sirius smirked, making the teachers around them chuckle.

"I'm sure they'll both end up solving this situation, whatever it is, without any hexing done. You're on." Albus replied, ignoring Minerva's scandalized look.

"Albus! You're the Headmaster of this school!" She protested.

"I'm in. I bet that whatever is going to happen, Potter is going to get himself in trouble one way or another." Snape offered.

"I'm in too. I bet that Harry will end up hexing Rose." Hagrid replied.

"Seriously, you're supposed to be the responsible ones, here! And Potter is a very chivalrous boy, he wouldn't hex a girl, especially not his sister!" Minerva complained.

"You want in?" Sirius asked her.

"No, of course not!" She exclaimed.

"I do, 10 on Rose hexing her brother. She's quite skilled and as Minerva said, Harry might hesitate because it's a girl and his sister." Flitwick added with an excited smile.

"Seriously! You should all be ashamed of yourselves!" Minerva shook her head as more teachers started betting.

.

"What is it, Rosie? What's wrong?" Harry asked her as soon as he joined her.

Instead of replying, Rose grabbed her brother's arm and dragged him in the corridor so they could speak alone. The few students that had been around hurried away when they saw the look in Rose's eyes, afraid of what would happen to them if they dared be in her way.

"I'm sorry to do it this way but it had to be done, and quickly. It's about Cho and before I start, this has very little to do with the fact that I don't like her. She doesn't like you, she doesn't care about you. Hermione and I heard her last night in the library, she was telling her friend Marietta that she didn't have any feelings for you, she's going out with you because you're famous and she's lonely. This has nothing to do with the fact that I don't like her or that she's very rude to me, if you still want to go with her, then fine, go with her. But you could do much better and you need to know why she's going out with you." Rose told him quickly and as calmly as possible.

"You heard her say that?" Harry asked her with a frown.

"I'm sorry, Harry, but I didn't want you to grow attached and see her true face too late. It might not be my place to tell you this but I love you and I don't want you to end up getting hurt or humiliated." Rose shook her head.

"I… I believe you, Rose. And it's totally your place to protect me from bad decisions, just like I would do for you." Harry told her and she could see that even though it pained him, he trusted her.

"You can do better than her, Harry. Go out with a girl who knows you and likes you for who you are, not because you're famous." Rose replied.

"Like who?" He rolled his eyes.

"Like Ginny. I know she's Ron's little sister but she never stopped liking you, Harry. She even broke things off with Michel because he kept on insulting you. I'm not saying go out with her tomorrow, but maybe take things slow, let her know that you could be interested. I know you Harry, she's your type and I've seen how you've been looking at her since this summer. She likes you for you, not because you're The Boy Who Lived, but because you're Harry."

"I… Things have changed a little over the summer… She's different…" Harry whispered with a blush.

"Just… Don't be mad at me, I just hated the idea of you going out with this horrible and hypocritical Cho girl."

"I know, thanks. I guess I'll tell her that I've changed my mind later today. And… Maybe I'll talk with Ginny after practice." Harry smiled and he followed Rose back to their table.

"You could start by asking her if she'd like to join Hermione, Ron and you in town Saturday. Or if, during that day, she'd like to join you for a drink at some point. Leave things open but let her know you're thinking about it." Rose advised him.

When they walked back into the Great Hall, Ron frowned and gave Hermione something and, at the teacher's table, Dumbledore was getting money from several other teachers while McGonagall shook her head at the headmaster, like he disappointed her. By the look on the transfiguration teacher's face, she was hoping she'd be able to give the other teachers detention. Rose smiled in amusement when she saw some money exchange hands around Draco too.

"What's going on?" Harry asked him.

"I was so sure she'd hex you that I bet with Hermione. I lost." Ron frowned.

"Hermione knew what I had to talk to Harry about, she knew I wouldn't hex him." Rose smirked.

"You fooled me!" Ron exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at Hermione.

"It was easy enough. And don't point, it's rude." She replied.

Ron's anger at Hermione didn't last long and he soon cheered up at the prospect of getting her back, which Harry suggested to calm him down.

What did you think of the teachers betting? I thought it would be fun. I loved writing this part lol
