Frieda had definitely fallen down. That much, she could be sure of. But what where the circumstances of that fall, remained a mystery.

She was also hurting. It felt as if every muscle in her body was torn, every bone was broken, and her insides burnt with the wildest fire known to man. Her head was feeling as if it had been split open and formulating even the most basic of thoughts was extremely difficult. However, above all else, her neck hurt the most. It almost felt like her spine had been severed, because even though she was desperately trying to move, her body seemed not to be listening to her will.

What was the cause for all this? Frieda didn't really remember. One moment she was flying and then she fell from the sky. This memory didn't sound feasible though. How could anyone be able to fly by their own volition? It wasn't a widespread ability, so where was all that coming from?

"You've lost."

As if by some miracle, hearing the voice brought her out of this weird, vegetative state. Slowly, she felt that her strength was coming back to her, the pain seemed to be subsiding and even some memories were flashing around her mind.

Frieda opened her eyes.

She was laying on a desert. Above her, passageways made of stars were lining up towards some unknown point. The peace of this place brought about a very particular memory.

The one, when she took back her freedom.

The female slowly rose up. Even though the pain was almost gone by now, she was still feeling sore, so trying to sit up, proved to be quite difficult.

Eventually, she managed to look at the only other person who had been here.

"You've lost" she retorted at the small blonde boy, playing around in the sand "at least I'm still alive…"

"Be that as it may" Zeke Yeager responded, not bothering to look at her "do you recall what was your mistake?"

Frieda thought back to the events that had transpired, right before she had regained consciousness.

Just when she thought she was close to getting the two Ackermans, Frieda was violently pulled out of her titan's neck.

With horror in her eyes, she turned her head around to face her perpetrator.

'That girl…' she thought, asserting the oriental girl's features from up close 'I remember her from somewhere…'

She knew that the girl was an Ackerman. Her earlier probe into her mind, ended with a failure, so she had to be somewhat related to that family.

'Damned Ackermans…' Frieda said to herself, once she felt that they were falling from the sky.

The aerial attack was definitely something she would have never expected. Once she saw the strange machine approaching, Frieda was sure that it couldn't be of any good, however the real danger had been lurking within it, all along.

They were approaching ground faster and faster. She could make out the stunned MPs, looking at the sky, and the rebel forces, using this moment of lethargy to strike.

"Mikasa!" She suddenly heard Kenny yell "the parachute!"

Frieda could see that the girl holding her, pulled some kind of string from her backpack. Was it a parachute? The queen remembered reading a report about them, though she never even imagined what they really looked like.

All of a sudden, a strong force pulled her upwards, as the female witnessed a giant sheet of material unfold from the backpack.

However, that particular force was simply too great and too unexpected, for Mikasa to keep her hold of Frieda.

"Damn it!" She heard Levi cry out, when her form slipped out of the oriental girl's hold.

'Is this how I die…?'

With a loud thud, she crashed on the ground.

"Mikasa Ackerman" Frieda finally said, after recollecting the whole sequence "at least, I think that's her name…"

"Wrong answer" Zeke chuckled, looking up from his pile of sand.

The boy was starting to get on her nerves. Why of all people, did she have to bear with him? Why couldn't it be Ymir Fritz? Or Grisha Yeager? She could even imagine that the first king, Karl Fritz could be less of an annoyance for her.

"You've lost control" the blonde continued "this time for good."

"I hate you" she admitted.

Though, she had to give him the due. He was right. She had been successfully overthrown, and right now, she couldn't do anything about it. The future of this island, maybe even the entire Eldian nation, was uncertain.

"Think back to what started all this" Zeke spoke, still looking at her with a small smile.

"You mean your pathetic invasion?" Frieda asked with a sneer "you're trying to tell me that your downfall led to mine?"

"No" the boy responded "think about…"

"What I did with Eren has nothing to do with that" she interjected defensively.

The blonde tilted his head at her sentence.

"Oh, really?" He asked, "if that's the case, what about Historia…?"

"Historia…?"

"You…"

Suddenly, Frieda noticed that she was no longer within the realm of the coordinate. Instead, it felt like some kind of underground. The dimmed lights and dry air were giving this place a very unpleasant, yet familiar feeling.

She was lying on a bed, in a small cell. Looking towards the candles that illuminated the dungeon, Frida saw that indeed, this was a prison.

And from behind the bars, she could see the very person that she had been thinking about, just a few moments ago.

Historia was looking at her with an emotionless expression. The silence that filled the air, ever since she first spoke, started to scare Frieda as the female realized that apparently her little sister utterly despised her.

"Historia…" she started slowly "…please, listen…"

"No" came a sharp response from the blonde "this time, you listen."

That behaviour startled the overthrown queen. Was Historia planning to eat her? Was her imprisonment some sort of a waiting period, before her little sister could overtake her powers?

"Kenny explained your plan to us in great detail" the blonde spoke, with the same tone as earlier "it's because of that you are still alive…"

"Huh…?"

"I proposed that after my coronation, I would take over the coordinate, however we couldn't be sure if I could utilize its power to the extent of finalizing the plan. You will continue on with what you have been doing…"

"What…?"

"Shut up!" Historia exclaimed with fury.

Upon that Frieda closed her mouth and cringed away. She had never seen her sister this angry.

"Don't think that you have anything to say" the blonde continued, after collecting herself "I will take over your power immediately, if I even have the slightest suspicion that you're not doing your job properly."

To hear Historia, spout out such threats, really filled the fallen queen with fear. Never before, had she seen her sister in such a state.

"I will remain close" Historia spoke "until the plan is finalized. Then I will take away your power."

Frieda looked down. So, it was going to be like this… She would die in infamy, alone, even though she would save her whole nation…

Did she really deserve this? The female recalled Zeke's words. Was it all about Eren, after all?

"I'm so…" she started.

"Just shut up!" Historia cried out, furiously "you want forgiveness? How about you kneel down and pray?"

Her sister angrily turned around, and walked over to the door, leading towards the exit.

Just as she took the handle, the blonde took a moment to look back at her.

"To think, that you could be so full of yourself that you told me to pray to the so-called god that actually turned out to be you…" Historia spoke, squinting her eyes in hurt "I hope that someday, you will meet the actual gods. Maybe then, you will finally get what you deserve…"

And just like that, she slammed the door behind her, as she left.

Frieda slumped down to her bed. She had to comply… She needed to comply… If there was even such a thing as redemption for her, she would have to give it all she could.

The look on Historia's face when she was leaving, told her more than enough. People have been hurt because of her. Even her own sister hated her now.

But… could she even truly redeem herself?
