Hello everybody.
Following a recent PM conversation with Stand with Ward and Queen, alongside my dislike of the immature portion of the Batman fanbase, or the Laurel Lance fans among other winy brats hating Oliver Queen alongside attacking anyone trying to defend him I wrote this.
Now, this is a crack fit meant to be fun along with pointing out the utter BS of Oliver Queen is a Batman rip-off in Arrow. It's a bit more complicated than just black and white views thought up by haters.
I can't say I'm shocked as not even the Arrowverse showrunners like Oliver Queen.
Just go look at the Elseworld's crossover or Arrow's seasons for proof.
Basement underneath the Verdant
Oliver in his Hood suit is near the desk containing his mutations trunk while looking at Bruce Wayne wearing his Batman outfit.
"You know Oliver Queen we are just the same, all your show has done is rip me off from day one. You're just a poorly done version of me from an emotionless actor who just murders bad guys" Batman says.
Scoffs "Why, because I'm not a quippy Spiderman and sprouting liberal nonsense? Instead shown suffering with lifelong effects of PTSD that the people from your fanbase have a narrow-minded vision of any character who broods for six seconds is ripping you off. Besides by that logic your nothing more than a rip-off from Zorro and Shadow" Oliver says, "Plus I'm based off Mike Grell and the GA Year One stories which are darker in nature with me killing."
"You began off in the comics having an Arrowplane, sidekick, and a car," Batman says.
"When I first started off, but I don't see you using a handgun anymore like you originally carried" Oliver points out.
"You stole my storyline with Ras al Ghul as he wanted you as an heir when it's always been me," Batman says.
"They took inspiration from the storyline true only when you think about it Ras al Ghul wanting me as an heir makes far more sense given, I have shown I'm willing to kill compared to you," Oliver says.
"You rip my villains off," Batman says.
"Oh, tell your fans to go do their research. Malcolm Merlyn whose Arthur King in the comics was always my villain and a former member of the League of Assassins. I've faced Deathstroke in the comics with him becoming a main enemy of mine, and unlike you, I actually lasted in a fight against Slade Wilson. I faced Riddler in the comics to" Oliver says "What is disgustingly hypocritical is your fan base has zero problems with you facing Lex Luthor or other hero's villains yet the second any villain of yours's looks at another hero they act like it's a major insult to their existence. Or maybe they just hate me that much, don't know."
"Your motivations are the same as mine," Batman says.
"No, they are not. My father killed himself so I could live and left me a mission to fix his mess. Even then I remained from the beginning equally motivated to help the people of Star City. You're motivated by the death of your parents for originally preventing further tragedy from falling on innocents but anymore in modern times, it's to make yourself feel better by punching others" Oliver says.
"You still lost your parents to evil like mine, you are ripping me off," Batman says.
Shaking his head in disgust "You realize how many heroic or antiheroes have lost their parents or guardians to crime as motivation for centuries upon centuries of telling stories long before Bob Kane even was born?" Oliver asks rhetorically
"You rip me off," Batman says.
"Here's the final three major differences between us. One I'm not an abusive scum bag although the Laurel, Felicity fans, or others will disagree. Unlike you who has punched Dick Grayson in the face after arguing with him over Jason's death, beat up Dick Grayson all while he was still suffering from the emotional trauma of dying just so you could send him as an uncover operative, kept him being alive as a secret from everyone else, made Timothy Drake nearly go insane by spying on his friends and family thinking one of them was going to bring about a bad future, and that's not even getting into hitting him in the face, or letting Damian keep trying to kill or abuse him without consequences. Beating Jason Todd for severe injures just from shooting the Penguin, among countless other things as an abusive control freak" Oliver says furiously.
"You rip me off" Batman replies as a tiring, broken record.
"The next is DC itself has you avoid consequences for everything you do, never calls you out on any of the behavior and your blindly loyal fan base filled with stans will make up endless excuses to justify your actions, or how they viciously attack others for calling any of this out. Even praise you for acting like an abuser" Oliver replies icily "Meanwhile I get massively hated on to the point of show retconning me into a monster by my own writers and countless fans in the Arrowverse."
"You just rip me off," Batman says.
"And finally, if I was you, I wouldn't have had my spine ripped out of my back so Felicity, Diggle, Thea, and Laurel along with the new recruits could utterly walk over me to the point of verbal abuse despite their less than stellar actions. Neither would I have been made into an ineffective fighter at times, especially in my fourth season just to prop up other people like Laurel or Thea who are less effective fighters" Oliver replies.
"You rip me off, we are the same," Batman says.
Suddenly a voice from nearby sounding familiar yet colder, inhuman "No we are not."
Both Oliver and Batman turn seeing Oliver as The Spectre with his eyes glowing green.
"You cannot stop me. I have the power by DC and my fans do anything I want. I am the Dark Knight who is the greatest hero ever created by DC and people have failed copying me or my dark tone out of success for what I can do. I am DC's only lucrative character and have a fan base of countless fans, you will not stop me! Because I am invincible" Batman says.
"There are no people or authoring this story who like in DC or your fans allowing you being a massively OP writers' pet that can override a Green Lantern ring when your parents die out of sheer willpower to kill the mugger among countless other actions including your abuse" The Spectre replies.
Without warning Batman bursts into green flame while yelling in agony until nothing remains, not even ash while Oliver and The Spectre look on for a few moments. Eventually, Oliver moves to the computers while his other self vanishes into thin air, his work now complete.
Near the top of the stairs is an older man with bushy white hair, and glasses who looks on the scene in remorse.
"It is a shame what they did to my friend's character and even how Dennis O'Neil wrote Bruce Wayne upon leaving Marvel. A man who while motivated by the tragedy of losing his parents yet still was a good, caring person at heart that just did dark things. A person who could find love and even marry as Earth 2 Batman with Selina. How on Earth-One Dick Grayson and Bruce left under peaceful terms for Dick leaving for college as growing up with Dick happily passing the mantel of Robin onto Jason Todd. Not the constant arguments, and abusiveness in modern runs" Stan says sadly "Ever since Frank Miller touched you, Bruce, in 1986 during his The Dark Knights Returns tale you forever have become caught in this Flanderization character that I don't ever see you escaping from. Nuff said."
Stan Lee quietly turns around fading through the door as if was never there at all.
Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you think.
Yes, Bob Kane and Stan Lee were friends with each other, and Dennis O'Neil did work for Marvel for a time.
The idea of a Stan Lee cameo proved to be too good to resist.
Until next time.
