AUTHOR'S NOTE: THIS IS NOT A NEW CHAPTER
My apologies if I haven't uploaded a new chapter after yet another five years. For that I apologize, for a varying number of reasons.
First would be the lack of motivation due to newer interests taking over in real life. Ever since I got my new smartphone, I was addicted to the games there than other items like my Nintendo DS. Some of them cost quite a bit, and I really must save more! Though I enjoy reading fanfiction on the road, I gotta get back to reading books for real – hence in 2017, I got my first pair of prescription glasses. Also, reading books is what expanded my writing skills for fanfiction in the first place!
Second would be that I'm thinking of rewriting this fanfic. I thought I'd shaken off making Setsuna more than just your ordinary 10-year-old without overpowering him too much like with my past OCs in my deleted fics. I would have taken reviewer Warbard's 'advice' if not for his fic getting as many reviews to justify his 'criticism'. He could have least given me proper advice, that githead, which is one of the many factors for my slow updates!
Thirdly, due to losing my reviewers over the years, I'm thinking of updating my rewritten fic not just here, but also to other sites that would be hopefully gain more reception of the positive kind.
Forth of course, involves real life, since my sister recently got married, and had two kids, so I'm assisting in looking after my nephews as an uncle. Plus, with how crazy COVID-19 has gotten, it's hard to socialise. Speaking of crazy, after going through many a computer and losing some important links, I really wished relocating my favourites would be easier to find if not for unwittingly finding disgusting content like h-stuff! I need a bloody cold shower, therapy, ANYTHING!
Finally, I gotta find a more suitable program for typing my fics due to Microsoft Office becoming too expensive to use! I missed the good days when it was free to use – so what would be a more suitable substitute? Google Drive, or something else entirely.
I really gotta get round to watching the other Digimon series, like tri (I swear the writers really hated 02), Last Evolution: Kizuna, Adventure 2020, and all that jazz!
I really hope the rewrite would become something special altogether. There are some pics (that I commissioned admittedly again, I gotta save up more) honouring the fic on Deviantart (I go by Blackvegetable), especially involving Setsuna-kun and friends. Look up Art Special in favourites.
Hope to see you guys soon, even though I missed getting good reviews and not flames. It's time to get my groove back!
