"Captain! They are overwhelming us!"
"Our engine is destroyed and our sails are burning! We are dead in the water!"
"To the escape boats now-GAHHHH!"
"What do we do! Captain Bloodwater! Captain!"
Silva could only watch in horror as the Demons boarded her ship after going out on what was said to be taking out a barbarian vessel. However, after reaching the coordinates provided her vessel was assaulted immediately by the hellspawn. Her crew tried to fight back as they swarmed the upper and lower decks of her ship. She cleaved through the horde with her energy Sabre however her blade was halted by the shield of what she thought was one of her own.
"No…It can't be!" Silva backed away at the sight of one of her people now transformed into a horror of hell.
"Silva Bloodwater…Your services are no longer required. Be grateful as you shall become reborn in the the Khan Maykrs grace…" The hellified Sentinel warrior said as if he was doing the god's work.
"No, No, NO! You're lying! The holy beings would turn against us." Silva held her blade forward.
"My orders come straight from the Khan Maykr. Resistance is pointless…as you have already failed your crew…" The Floor below her then disappears and Silva falls into a black abyss, Landing in a pool of blood-red water.
"*Cough* Where am I?" Silva said as she stood herself up in the shallow water. Looking up she could only find a black void other than the endless shallow sea of blood.
"...you…" Silva turns around to find a zombified member of her crew walking toward her while she is stricken with fear.
"Failed us…You let us die…" More of her crew burst out of the water, surrounding their captain as they all seek vengeance against her.
"I-I'm sorry! I was a fool to believe their lies! It is all my fault! I will avenge all of you I swear." Silva pleaded as the undead surrounded her and started to laugh at her.
"You turned your back on Novik, our sacred ways because the false angels demanded it….Yet, Now you seek forgiveness? Lord Slayer should've blasted your head off the moment he saw you!" The twisted remains of her crew started to laugh even louder as slive fell to her knees and covered her ears.
"S-Stop…P-Please! I-I don't know what else you want…Please Stop!" She cried.
"Silva? Silva!" Ritsuka shook the woman as she found the Sentinel woman tossing and turning in her sleep which was bad for her wounds. Silva woke up gasping for air as tears were running down her eyes. Looking around she found herself in the captain's quarters of the Golden Hind with Ritsuka taking bedside vigil.
"Are you okay? It looked like you were having a nightmare." The redhead said as the ex-captain steeled herself back together.
"I-It nothing for you to be concerned about…It's a burden I have to bear for what I had done in the past." Silva said while looking away as Ritsuka's innocence was too much for her.
"It's because you supported the maykr's right?" Ritsuka said and Silva looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I talked to VEGA." She answered.
"...Yes, supported those false angels for a time. Thinking that Novik was insane in calming that the Maykr's were using the elixir known as Argent Energy to corrupt us. That they had made a deal with the dark ones in order for the Khan Maykr to remain in power." Silva with great shame in her voice.
"But now you are working with Novik, what caused you to switch sides?" Ritsuka asked.
"My crew was attacked by a small army of those Marauders while out at sea. My crew tried to fend them off only to be slaughtered right in front of me and my ship sent to the bottom of the ocean." Silva said with a pained look in her yellow eyes. Ritsuka felt sorry for the woman as Silva and a great number of people were lied to resulting in the collapse of a once-proud civilization.
"I am sorry for your loss." Ritsuka said genuinely.
"Don't be, I will pay for my mistakes by killing everyone of those hellspawn in the name of the Slayer." Silva said as she tried to get back up on her feet only for her to nearly collapse on the floor due to her injuries.
"Whoa, Whoa! Easy Hektor did a number on your." Ritsuka quickly helped her back onto the bed.
"It's nothing, I should get back to GAH!" Silva grunted as pain spiked in her lacerated torso.
"Not until you heal up." Ritsuka said.
"No, It will take too long. I sense the final battle approaching and you will need all the help you can get." Silva argued while her bandages were getting saturated with her blood.
"Then let me ask you this: are you a servant?" Ritsuka asked.
"Yes, why would you be asking…" Silva paused as she figured out what was the young one about to say next.
"Then how about a contract with me to speed up your healing? Don't worry, I can handle multiple servants." Ritsuka said while showing her command seal. Silva was surprised at the offer, she'd never thought that the young one would even consider such a thing with a traitor like herself.
"Are you sure you are alright with this? Even after what I told you?" Silva asked and Ritsuka remained unbothered by it.
"Yep, I am fine with it! " The Novice master of Chaldea said
"But what would my lord-"
"He's been ok with contracting Heroic Spirits we've fought before. So he can't complain now of all times…Well actually, I don't know if he had ever complained since he doesn't talk much….Y-you get the picture! " Ritsuka tried to portray an image of a proud master, however, it was about as convincing as a child trying to impress her parents. The whole sight caused the military woman to start laughing at the sight which brought a very unamused look from Ritsuka.
"H-hey! What's so funny?" Ritsuka said, crossing her arms.
"N-Nothing. I am just amazed at your...Tenacity. *Ahem* Well, if it's all good with you and Lord Slayer, then I will accept a contract with you" Silva said and Ritsuka smiled before getting to work on the Contract Spell.
"...I, Silva Bloodwater, Rider Class. Accept you right as my master." After a few minutes, Ritsuka and Silva completed the contract which allowed the servant to start recovering faster.
"Rider Class huh? I had you guess as an archer because of the gun." Ritsuka said as she placed a hand on Silva's shoulder to use her mystic code to heal the servant.
"I believe my class reflects my time as Captain of the Coast Spear. However I don't believe I have a Noble Phantasm." Silva said her physical wounds started to heal up.
"Well, It'll probably show up eventually. Hey, what was Valen's class?" Ritsuka asked, curious about the commander who assisted Nero in the Roman Singularity.
"Novik mentioned that he would be summoned as a 'Foreigner' due to him being the first Sentinel to step foot into your world, Master." Silva answered and Ritsuka raised an eyebrow as she only knew of the seven classes plus the extra Ruler class. A few more minutes go by and Sliva is nearly combat-ready once more.
"Ok, with a little more rest you should be ready to go. *yawn*" Ritsuka yawned as it was getting late for her and she just expended a lot of mana supplying both Asterios and Doomguy.
"Master Ritsuka, you should rest. I will be fine thanks to you." Ritsuka agrees and decides to turn in for the night and leaves the room. Now healed, Silva gets up to stretch to get a proper feel for how her body is doing. She then notices something off about her jacket that was hanging on a nearby hook.
It was now the white of the sentinels that stood with Novik instead of the Green of the Maykr separatists…
Argonauts of Okeanos
A new day dawns on this oceanic singularity as the Golden Hind reaches landfall on a new unmarked island via odd means. Orion got hit by an arrow from the west which further humiliated him as he couldn't pull it out on his requiring, once again, the assistance of Orion.
"...A Shocking revelation has been discovered, master." Mashu stated to Gudao, leaving the others to question if that was her first attempt at sarcasm or if she was being genuine. After a few moments of Artemis gushing over the fact that she loves being useful to Orion, the arrow was removed.
"There appears to be a message attached to the munition," VEGA said and Artemis opened up the small letter that was attached to it. After a few minutes of reading the moon, the goddess lets out a smile.
"Hehehe, it's from someone I know. So stiff, as usual! Perhaps because she's a pure girl who's never known love?" Artemis said bubbly while Doomguy was still the only one on guard for more arrows. He wasn't taking any chances when it came to a sniper.
"Would this person happen to be Atalante?" VEGA asked, Causing Doomguy to flinch a bit due to their last experience with the Greek Archer back in Orleans.
"Why yes! How did you know?" Artemis asked.
"The arrow matches the ones used by her back when we encountered her in the Orleans singularity." VEGA said.
"By 'encounter' you mean on friendly terms right?' Orion hoped as Artemis had a special bond with the girl.
"Sorry, she was our enemy back then. She was summoned by an unfortunate witch and was given the madness enhancement trait." Ritsuka said recalling the deadly battles of Orleans and her demise by the Stalking Dragon Kiyohime.
"Oh my! I hope she didn't use the Calydonian Boar hide on you! I have always told her to avoid using that as she can easily lose control if she doesn't focus her mind well enough." Artemis said with a voice of concern for her pupil.
"Uhh no? She was just using her Noble Phantasm: Phoebus Catastrophe." Gudao said as Mashu rubbed her shoulder, remembering the ordeal of shielding her allies from that anti-army trump card.
"Oh, Good she must've been resisting the urge to use it on you or the Madness Enhancement made her forget that she even had it in the first place." Artemis breathed a sigh of relief and held no ill will about Chaldea striking down Atalante. Doomguy finally lowered his guard after a few more minutes of watching the horizon for a second strike.
His mind focused on the mentioned possibility that the madness enhancement trait could make servants forget details about themselves. Was that the reason he can't remember the important parts of his past life before the sentinels? Doomguy shakes his head and puts those thoughts on the back burner as they weigh anchor and depart to explore the new landmass for anything that could assist them to get the grail back. They knew that Hektor was making a move for Euryale however they don't know why before they retreated away from the unknown ship.
"So, what's the plan now? We got another group of rogue servants to deal with that we know nothing about." Gudao said as their feet touched the sandy shores of the new Island.
"Our best interest is to take a defensive position as I predict they will be coming after us." VEGA said.
"Why's that? They have the Holy Grail so why bother with us?" Romani asked curiously.
"I believe they still have interest in Lady Euryale and were just using Edward Teach as a means to capture her due to his…Odd obsessions." VEGA stated.
"Great! More Losers are after me and I guess you want to use me as bait…Fine." Euryale relented as she was summoned to help humanity and would prefer her group to win over whoever started this whole hunt for her.
"That was fast." Mashu said, surprised as she thought the gorgon sister would need some convincing.
"Doesn't need many convincing thanks to our growing numbers. We got: Two Masters, several servants, a souped-up ship, The bane of Hell itself along with his AI bud, And the only demon to grow a conscience ." The Wretch said while counting off each of their advantages with his skeletal fingers. Mashu nods agreeing with the ex-demon and understands they had the power to have the final fight on their terms.
With that in mind, the group then begins to explore the Island to find Atalante and then figure out their defence plan. Silva, Asterios and The Pirate Duo will guard the ship until they return with hopefully some new allies.
"Aww man! We wanted to go out and see that Hunk in action!" Anne said with a pout.
"...Unfair…" Mary mumbled while Silva pinches the bridge of her nose. Anne and Mary seemed to have grown rather fond of her Lord. It was not a new experience as she heard many women swoon over him during his days in the arena, yet hearing it from those two was irritating for some reason.
The ground team digs deeper into the forests and deals with small group monsters along the path.
"Combat Complete, we should keep moving Senpai." Mashu said.
"Halt!" A voice calls out, stopping the crew in their tracks while Doomguy Reloads his Super Shotgun.
"Are you the one who sent that arrow?" Drake asked
"That's right!... Are you foes of the Argonauts? Or have you already given up and submitted?" Ritsuka and Gudao then step forward, still looking around for whoever was talking to them. VEGA on the other hand was searching the Chaldea database for the history of the Argonauts due to the sudden mentioning of the historic group of heroes.
"We are their foes." Gudao said
"And we haven't given up." Ritsuka said.
"...Very Well! Then I shall show myself!" Right then and there the famous Greek Huntress appeared from the tree branches above!
"...Forgive my questioning. I already knew the answer, but I still had to ask. We are, after all, the last hope in these seas." Atalante said revealing herself in a much less violent persona compared to their first interaction back in Orleans. Speaking of which, Ritsuka did a quick check on Doomguy to make sure he was alright. Her trusty berserker nods to her as he could see that she was in no way hostile towards them.
"We already know who you are but just to make sure, Atalante, I presume?" Mashu asked just to be safe.
"Indeed. My True Name is Atalante. A hunter in service to the goddess Artemis…Oh, come to think of it, we ran into each other a bit in France, didn't we? I was affected by Madness Enhancement back then…but this time I've been summoned as a normal Archer. For now I perceive you all as allies." Atalante said, introducing herself.
"It is very nice to meet you. My name is Mashu Kyrielight…" Mashu then introduced everyone to the huntress who was surprised to see her very goddess.
"...Artemis?" Atalante looks at the woman with a raised brow.
"Yeees!" The goddess of the hunt said cheerfully.
"Mashu, was it? You can stop joking. Lady Artemis is the goddess of hunting and virginity. There's no way she could be summoned as a servant." The huntress could not accept the woman in front of her was Artemis or the fact that the plush toy was Orion.
"Hey, Darling? Atalanta doesn't believe me. What's wrong with the goddess of virginity living for love? Right? " Artemis said with a frown.
"Hah-hah-Haha. No comment! No comment!" Orion said, laughing at the situation.
"Miss Atalante, We have confirmed that this is the same goddess that you have been worshipping your entire life. I understand that the idea of a divine spirit becoming a servant is foreign, however I am afraid that rule might no longer be in play." VEGA said
"I-I see, Well. I won't let finding out that the goddess I worship is hopelessly romantic break me!" Atalante steeled herself as her lion ears perked up before she aimed at The Wretch.
"Whoa-Whoa! Friendly, Friendly!" The Wretch raised his hands as Doomguy stood in front of him. The boar hunter paused as memories of her berserk self flashed in her mind, reminding her of this man's power.
"Don't worry about him. He may look like a demon but he's practically harmless. Take it from the Demon hunter himself." Euryale said while Pointing at Doomguy.
"You…I remember you from France. I take it that you are not a usual run of the mill servant like me?" Atalanta asked and Doomguy just shrugged.
"To sum it up. He got summoned from another dimension and has been sticking with us ever since." Ritsuka answered as Atalanta just accepts it without thinking about it too much as she needed to get things moving along
"...Anyway, I would like to introduce you to another servant. The servant in possession of the "Ark" In other words, the man Argonauts seek."
"Argonauts…Ark?" Mashu said with a questioning look.
"I believe Atalante is referring to an ancient Greek band of heroes led by Jason, the son of Aeson and the King of Ioicus." VEGA said, appearing beside Mashu.
"Strange, I thought you'd all know him already." The huntress pondered.
"Well certain circumstances happened along the way, we will fill you in later. You were going to introduce us to another servant that could help us?" Mashu asked as a young man appeared from the bushes
"Hey, I've been waiting a long time for you guys. The name David by the way." a green-haired man in blue and light brown attire said.
"Normally I'd hold a feast with food and drink, but first, let me explain about the 'ark'" David said.
"Fine with me. I like men who get to the point." Euryale said, happy to avoid unnecessary talk.
"Thank you. I am David, King of israel. The "Ark" is my Noble Phantasm." David said, revealing his full identity. Which brought up a major question among the Chaldeans due to their hypothesis of Solomon, a child of David, being the cause of the incineration of humanity.
"Is there something on my face or what?" David asked due to the odd look on both of the Master's faces.
"No, it's nothing. Don't worry about it." Mashu said as they were sure yet that Solomon was truly the mastermind of it all other than the involvement of the 72 Demon gods.
"...Senpai's. While it would be a perfectly valid question to ask. Let's hear him out first." Mashu whispered to her senpai as she had the same worry about his connection to their possible enemy.
"Fou." The little one barked while sitting on top of Ritsuka's head.
David then went on to talk about his third-rate Noble Phantasm called the Ark of the Covenant and how it will instantly kill anyone who touches other than himself. An item of great power that unfortunately could be used for evil if it fell into the wrong hands. David and Atalante believe that Jason wants to use the ark for his purposes, thus forcing them to remain hidden until either servant summoned to protect humanity were summoned or a master appeared. Atalante revealed that she was at first summoned by Jason due to herself being part of the Argonaut legend herself but she broke away.
"...Maybe because I never liked Jason in life, or because I was summoned as an Archer who can act freely. I was able to break free from his command, unlike Hercules who he unleashes whenever things don't go his way." Atalante revealed that the Greek Demi-god himself was summoned to these seas. A top-class servant according to Romani and posed a significant risk to Chaldea.
"Did you happen to see Hektor with Jason's crew by any chance?" Ritsuka asked.
"Yes, I instantly recognized him among the various servants under his command." Atalante answered.
"So that must mean Jason is also after Euryale as well…" Ritsuka pondered while the petite goddess came up with a horrible possibility.
"...David. May I ask you something?" Euryale asked.
"Sure, ask me anything!" David replied.
"If I were to be sacrificed to this 'Ark' what would happen? If nothing else, That would appear to be their goal." She said and Jason rubs his chin thinking about what could happen.
"Euryale, right? You were originally a Divine Spirit. If you were sacrificed to the 'ark'...Yeah, this whole era would 'die'." He said.
That caused some cold sweats among the Chaldeans. Jason must not know the effect it would cause if he went through with his plans and is most likely under the influence of a Demon God pillar. Destruction of this era would spell an irreversible victory for Leff and the end of the human race. This whole situation started to look bleaker as the conversation went on to discuss how they would take on Heracles.
"...Jason has total faith in hercules, he mentioned that the Berserker has a total of twelve resurrections. Each death nufflying the previous means of death meaning that we have to kill him with multiple types of attacks." Atalante mentioned.
"Multiple resurrections from the Twelve labourers. And above all else, His prominent combat techniques…"Mashu said.
"We, on the other hand, are full of fighters with varying combat capabilities. Mostly long distance, but still we do have a number on our side." Orion pointed out.
"Don't forget that Ritsuka has a walking arsenal of berserker as a servant." Romani said, referring to The Slayer. He was right, Doomguy's expanded arsenal allowed him to possibly kill the demi-god multiple times. Ritsuka agreed with that option but then remembered that she was down to one last command seal and She promised Doomguy to use it to call him in case of emergency.
"Really? That's good to hear. However, we won't have to worry much. If we can get him to touch the Ark, we might be able to obliterate him. " David offered up the plan and it seems to be the best option.
"That would be the best option, if Hercules falls then the remaining servants under Jason's command will fall under our numbers. Which only leaves one remaining variable." VEGA said and then explained the secondary threat of the Demons of hell to David and Atalante, much to their shock.
"...Demon's from hell, yet not the one from our world's legends and faiths. That is very disturbing. Well that only reinforces our need to defeat Jason and secure that grail." David said with determination in his voice.
"Aye, Those bastards are the real threat if you ask like a sickness or something, even I get chills just thinking about the slaughter they can cause." Drake said. Doomguy could, however, as she didn't know half of the chaos they can bring to a world, be it death or corruption.
"Then we better get moving then! The faster we beat Jason, the faster your world gets cut off from hell." The Wretch stated and the two masters started to get to work on a plan on how to deal with Jason.
Clash of Demi-Gods...Round 2
Meanwhile, on the Argo, Jason is very displeased that they have lost their chance at Euryale. They got caught in a storm before they could catch up with the Golden Hind and send in their trump card to finish them off.
"How can you let one wench push you back?! Aren't you a hero of the Trojan war?!" The blonde man in golden garbs said.
"Hey, I was routed the moment I got on the ship. Furthermore they seem to have Hercules of their own." Hektor defended himself.
"Yes, Yes this man in green armour. I highly doubt he has even a fraction of Hercules's power." Jason said while leaning back on his luxurious chair as his ship sailed.
"Medea, do you still have their whereabouts?" He asked a younger version of Medea that calls herself "Medea Lily."
"Yes, I may have lost Euryales divine signature, however there is a much stronger one among them that is easier to track." She said, bringing a smile to Jason's face.
"Ah good, as expected of you. This time I will get hercules on them immediately."
"Yes, lord jason!" She said with a bow before walking away.
"Are you just going to ignore the fact that there is a much stronger divine signature among their group?" Hektor deadpanned.
"Again, I have Hercules. Even those demonic beasties haven't attacked us at all. As long as I have him we are invincible." Jason said with
confidence while Hektor didn't like the idea of blind faith in one servant, sure he was a demi-god but Chaldea had that mysterious armoured fella on their side. It was only a few hours at sea before they found an Island that Medea Lily was able to confirm that's where they were hiding.
"That's the Island." Medea Lily
"...Ah, I see. Euryale hasn't been killed yet?" Jason asked.
"Yes, she's still alive." She answered, much to her lord's delight.
"...Even though they know they're being targeted…I question their judgement…Well whatever, I'll leave the decisions here up to our captain." Hektor relented as victory was still in their grasp.
"All right! The luck of the gods is on our side. Heracles, Medea, Hektor! Land on that Island and seize both Euryale and the 'Ark'.I-" Jason was then interrupted by Hektor deflecting an arrow aimed for his captain's head.
"Whoa!" Hektor said, deflecting two more arrows.
"Huh, arrows?...What fools. As if these flimsy arrows would work against Heracles-" Jason was again interrupted by Medea Lily erecting a barrier in front of him.
"Lord Jason, They're-aiming at you!" She warned
"What?"
At the Shoreline, The defenders of humanity fire their arrows and bullets at the Argos. Now that they have their attention it was time to fire off some Noble Phantasms to get Jason to send the big guy out.
"I dedicate this to Apollo and Artemis-Phoebus Catastrophe!" Atalante unleashed her hail storm of arrows!
"Here is my song of love! Tri-star Amore Mio!" Artemis fires an arrow fueled by her love for Orion!
"Eye of the Euryale!" The purple-haired goddess lets her divine arrow fly at her pursuers!
"Hamesh Avanim" David Slings the stones he used to slay the giant Goliath from his legends!
Sounds of Argent power bolts of energy screeched through the air as Doomguy fired his tried and true Ballista. The weapon that defended the city of Illkana for ten days and ten nights.
Both Silva and Anne were providing assisting the fire with their rifles due to their limitations. Silva didn't have a Noble Phantasm to her knowledge and Anne needed Marie to be up on the target's flank for it to work
"Now this is exhilarating! Ha! I like being on a Good guys side for once!" The blonde marksman said.
"We have little time to idle talk, keep focusing on your fire." Silva said as cycled a new round into her gun.
"Party-pooper. Well at least your style got an upgrade. That white jacket looks good on you." Anne complimented which caused Silva to pause for a moment.
"T-thanks…"
The bombardment shook the very ship and forced them to get into defensive positions. According to Atalante, Jason wouldn't risk sending all of his goons after them to avoid leaving him defenceless. So the expected action would be him sending the demi-god to do his dirty work.
"Magical and Divine energy spike detected One servant has left the Argos and it's heading for our positions!" VEGA warned.
"Here he comes! Do everything in your power to protect me!" Euryale said as she was Heracles main target so wherever she went, he would follow. She was to be with Gudao and Mashu at all times to keep her safe while the others focus on defeating the demi-god.
"You guys should be able to run a marathon with your suits. Just keep running and follow VEGA and he'll lead you to the kill zone." Romani said as he had already done a scan of the Island and plotted the best path for them to take.
Within seconds the roaring titan of a man caught up to them and forced a confrontation. Revealing the grey-skinned demi-god that was tall as a Baron of Hell and the strength of thousands of those bastards.
"Target identified. This was the Berserker servant back in Fuyuki." VEGA stated.
"You fought that thing before?!" Mary asked as dodged a strike from Heracles.
"Yes but he appeared to be in a corrupted state. Instead of resurrections he got extreme regeneration." VEGA answered as Mashu used her class skills to draw the attention away from the shooters as they ran up ahead. Doomguy had to remain calm and not go all out just yet, Ritsuka only had one command seal left and that needed to be saved for absolute emergencies. He needs to keep his shit together for this to work.
Mashu held her ground but could barely get any hits but thankfully Atalante was supporting her as Doomguy got ready to strike.
"Alright! Slayer, you are up!" Drake said as Mashu and Atalante ran up ahead. Doomguy ignites his crucible while triggering both Quad Damage and Overdrive as he needed to be swift for this fight. With Blazing speeds he dodges the demi-god's attacks, however, it seems that the enemy Berserker was adept when it came to combat rather than a destructive force. This partially pissed Doomguy off as he used to be like this before being afflicted with this broken anger.
"Count to four…inhale…Count to four…Exhale."
The Slayer parry's Heracles club, creating an opening and bisects him followed by decapitation. Heracles falls…But then his skin pulses red and his sliced up body starts to reassemble itself.
He has never seen a bastard resurrect themselves after getting cleaved by his sword and all he can think is that this world has some bullshit magic.
"We gotta move! Let's go!" Drake said.
With this window, everyone retreats to prepare for the next phase of the plan. Drake runs with Mashu and Atalante while Doomguy picks up Ritsuka under his arm. Doomguy carrying Ritsuka sped by the others which was expected by Drake and the others while Atalante seemed to be bothered by it.
"Is something wrong Lady Atalante?" VEGA asked.
"N-no, it's nothing." She answered as they reached an open field where Artemis, Silva, Anne and Mary had set up a firing line.
"Okay Artemis! Let's do this!" Orion said, hyping himself up as that is all he could do.
"Yeah! I won't pull any punches here!" Artemis said the squad fired upon the roaring Heracles, the barrage forcing him to pause his chase after Euryale! Doomguy takes his chance and tries again with the crucible.
He goes to stab him through the chest, only for the blade to bounce off Heracles' grey skin.
"Your Crucible is no longer effective against him. Scans indicate only A+ rank or above attacks can kill him." VEGA stated and The Slayer mentally cursed as he knew if he had his true power this wouldn't be an issue. Mashu and the others catch up and quickly re-engage the target to buy more time for the plan to work.
"Re-engaging the enemy!" Mashu yelled as she was reinvigorated by her master using a Command Seal to give her a much-needed boost.
"I'll keep my distance, Just keep hammering him down!" Drake said as Atalante joined the firing line to keep the Berserker suppressed. Both Doomguy and Mashu were giving it they're all against the berserker. Mashu again was holding her ground against the Club as Doomguy
Delivers a skull shattering blood punch to the enemy's face followed by a spin-kick from Mashu. The force of the duo's hits knocks Heracles and Doomguy blasts him with an ice grenade, holding him in place for a brief moment.
"Artemis, Slayer! Hit me now!" Drake yelled.
"On it! TRI-Star Amore Mio!" Artemis fires off her Arrow once more while Doomguy unleashes the power of the Unmaykr upon him. Once the dust settled, the demi-god was on the ground without his head and body riddled with smouldering holes.
Another red pulse followed and he started to regenerate again while everyone scattered to their next positions. Doomguy picked up Ritsuka again, his anger still at manageable levels, and ran towards the ruins out in the badland region of the Island.
Once the Demi-god was put back together he roared and ran after Euyrale, Leaving the others alone.
"Ok, Bloodwater, head back to the ship with Anne, Mary and Artemis. Once we send that bastard to Davy Jones Locker we are going to assault the Argos immediately. I need you to keep things ready." Drake said Before running off with Atalante and Mashu.
"Aye, Captain." Silva said.
"Well that was fun! I hope they make it out ok." Anne said, slightly worried.
"It all fringes on if that box works the way we wanted it to. Anyways, did anyone see that Atalante seemed a little bothered by something" Mary said as she noticed some of the bowman's shots were a bit off target?
"Yeah, that's not like her at all," Orion said as he himself was a hunter himself before turning into a plush toy.
"Oh! I just figured it out! She's bothered that he got here before her and…Let's just say legitimately being more fleet footed than her had meaning." Artemis stopped herself as she didn't want to bother her disciple behind her back.
"Enough chattering, we need to get to the ship!" Silva ordered and they all ran back to the Golden Hind, leaving the last part of the plan to her lord.
Heracles roared and echoed in the distance as Gudao and Euryale were approaching the entrance to a pagan temple that housed their trap.
"I'm impressed, you barely broke a sweat with all that running." Euryale said as Asterios stepped forward, ready to do his part.
"You can thank Doomguy, this Mystic Code is really awesome." he said as the man himself showed up carrying Ritsuka.
"Alright! You made it. Is Mashu and the others okay?" Gudao asked.
"They are just right behind Heracles. Don't worry, she's alright." Ritsuka assured her fellow master.
"Okay, Asterios you're up. Remember to let our guys through." David said and the Minotaur nodded.
"Wander…Lost…Die!" He shouted as the badlands were converted into his infamous labyrinth that engulfed Heracles and put his rampage to a standstill. Within seconds a portal on their side opened up and Mashu, Atalanta and Drake appeared through the shortcut Asterios provided.
"Great work Asterios!" Euryale complemented which brought a big goofy smile to his face. Only to be interrupted by the sound of many walls being torn down.
"Not…gonna…last…long…" Asterios could sense the Berserker tearing through his maze.
"Ok, Mashu, Doomguy. Just like we planned." Gudao said.
"Yes Master!" Mashu said and Doomguy nodded.
Gudao placed a hand on Mashu's shoulder to overcharge her with mana as she raised her shield over her head. Doomguy then Jumps on top of the shield and Mashu uses the extra energy to launch Doomguy's way up in the air.
"Heave…Ho!" Mashu yelled as she pushed The Slayer away into the sky and gave him a bird's eye view of Asterio's Noble Phantasm. He instantly spotted the path of destruction the son of Zeus was causing and he quickly took action.
As the force of gravity retakes him, he swaps to the BFG 9000 and aims.
Within a few seconds, he fires an argent fueled energy pellet that is sent zooming down to its target and it is directly hit as a massive green explosion rages within the labyrinth. Now if that big monster survives the BFG he will fully accept that this world had some magical bullshit and he wanted to punch whoever was in charge.
"Such power in one attack. It makes it hard to believe that one could even survive it." Atalante commented on the raw power of the BFG as Doomguy landed back down on his feet.
"As much as I want to believe Heracles is dead after that, unfortunately we can't risk it. Into the undercroft everyone!" David said and everyone entered the pagan ruins without wasting any time.
As they got ready, they heard the roaring and the stomping above them as they realize that Heracles was still alive.
"Enemy approaching, ETA.-" Before VEGA could finish, The son of Zeus came crashing through the ceiling.
"-Quickly get him to the 'Box'!" David yelled as Euyrale and Gudao ran down the halls of the catacombs with Heracles right on her tail.
"Come on, Come on! " Gudoa grunted as they ran into the main Chamber, Where The Ark was waiting.
"NOW!" Gudao Shouted.
"RAAAAAAH!" Asterio's Shouted as he shoulder tackles Hercules towards the box.
"Keep going! Push him in!" Drake shouted as she fired her pistols.
"You…Will…Leave…Euryale…ALONE!" Asterios pushed Heracles, ignoring the pain of Heracles lashing out at him.
"He's so close….NOW DOOMGUY!" Ritsuka shouted and Doomguy jumped in and Punched their titanic foe right in the face followed by a blast of buckshot from The Super Shotgun.
Asterios then lets go of the headless body and both burly servants deliver a haymaker that pushes Heracles right onto Ark. It was almost instant, one could've blinked and missed it.
Heracles was no more…His body faded into dust…
There was silence…As if everyone was waiting for the man to get back up…
"Destruction of Heracles Spirit origin: Confirmed." VEGA said and a wave of relief washed over the group. Mashu instantly ran over to her Senpai to check up on him as they were separated for most of the plan.
"Senpai! Senpai! Are you ok? Are you hurt?" Mashu said as she frantically searched him for any injuries.
"H-hey! I am fine. Terrified, but not hurt." Gudao said while placing his hands on her shoulders.
"...We were all terrified. But, I'm glad you're not just some savage hero. You both knew your own weakness, and still did what you could, you did a wonderful job, Masters." Euryale said while tending Asterio's wounds with Ritsuka.
"It'd definitely be harder without your help, Big guy." The redhead complimented.
"Friends…Help…Friends…" Asterios said while looking at Doomguy who gives him a nod back. The Minotaur Helped protect his master, so The Slayer protected his friend.
"Hey, Where did The Wretch go?" Euryale asked as the Ex-demon was missing.
"The guy told me that he needed to check something the moment you guys killed Heracles. Could be anyone's guess where he left. Oh great job by the way! You guys are so close to fixing this singularity." Romani said over comms.
"Now, The only one left is Jason and his crew. Let's go free the seas once and for all!" Drake said with mighty confidence with their numbers. It was agreed that they would seal off the main chamber with explosives so that no one else could take the Ark behind their backs. After some quick demolition, they were on their way to The Golden Hind, until VEGA noticed Ritsuka seemed to be slowing down her pace as they ran back to the ship.
"Master Ritsuka, is something wrong?" VEGA asked as he did a quick Diagnostic on her suit and found no errors.
"I'm fine I just-" Ritsuka then trips and nearly falls over but Doomguy catches her.
"Ritsuka-Senpai!" Mashu called out as they all stopped to see what happened.
"Medical systems indicate extreme amounts of exhaustion from extreme amounts of Mana usage." VEGA said.
"...Which is most likely caused by contracting two Berserkers at once. Chaldea does its best to support you guys but Berserkers are the most taxing class for a master." The Doctor said very worriedly.
"I just thought if I could handle Doomguy I could handle another one," Ritsuka said feeling embarrassed about her mistake.
"Don't worry about it, Ritsuka. Everyone makes mistakes. Can she continue, Doctor?" Gudao asked.
"Yes, VEGA, give her a dosage of the Mana Booster. This will recover the excess mana used and should last long enough for the final battle. Next time, Don't stack two berserkers on one of you. Neither of you are ready for that kind of servant load. Doctors orders." Romani said as VEGA dispensed a vial from his drone. Doomguy quickly grabs it and pops the vial cap off and lets Ritsuka drink it.
"...ew...It's gross." Ritsuka said while reluctantly swallowing the substance.
"Good medicine tastes bad." Romani countered and Ritsuka stuck her tongue out at Romani before getting picked up by Doomguy once again.
"H-hey. I can walk!" She said but her protector was not having any of it. She needed some rest before the battle and he was gonna be damn sure she was going to get it. With that little pitstop out of the way, Chaldea reaches the Golden Hind and sets sail for the Argos.
Rim of Okeanos
"...T-that can't be possible! How could a rag-tag team of servants defeat him!" Jason said as he expects his trump card to be back by now.
"I am afraid so...I just checked with my familiar it would seem that one of the servants had multiple A rank Noble Phantasms," Medea said before their ship was fired upon by cannonballs.
"Hey Jason! Can you hear me! 'Cause we are coming for you!" Drake shouted from her ship which was rapidly approaching them.
"...Impossible Heracles! What happened to Heracles?!" Jason shouted.
"Oh, Come on. You really need to ask?" Drake then gestured to all the servants on her ship.
"H-how did you get so many servants on your side!?" Jason said.
"Well, I am under the command of two kick-ass stargazers, who have courage burning in their hearts. Something which you clearly lack. Haha!" Drake said.
"So yes, we did send off your biggest and baddest lackey without losing any of our own; you are now outnumbered. Surrender now or suffer a humiliating defeat at the hands of Captain Francis Drake!" She continued.
"Grrr…The Gall of that wench…What do I do?! Even with grail I can only summon so much…" Jason mumbled.
"I am afraid I am going to have to accelerate things." Medea Lily Said.
"Gah!" Jason screamed as Medea Lily stabbed Jason with a dragonbone shard.
"I swore to that 'king' that I would protect you until the end. Unfortunately, Jason you cannot reach your ideal nation. You cannot become invincible without destroying this area. You cannot make your dreams come true. Not in the manners you desire…" Medea said as Jason felt his body twist and contort.
"...You…You Wench! You've been lying to me this entire time! I should've never trusted you-GAHH!" Jason falls to his knees and coughs up blood as Hektor backs away.
"I was born the son of a king, but my uncle robbed me off my throne! I was forced into the care of a centaur! Even while suffering that indignity, I became resourceful. I built the Argo and gathered a crew of heroes! Don't you DARE tell me that I can never reach my goal after going through all that BULLSHIT-GAHHHH!" Jason screamed as he dropped the Holy Grail.
Medea remained silent as she picked up the powerful artefact.
"O Holy Grail. O ultimate vessel granting my desires. Manifest. Remember. You're one of the 72 Demons gods! I shall give you the strength to fight. I shall give you the strength to rise up. Let us fight together for the sake of destruction." Jason's body melted into a purple goo as dark mist engulfed the ship.
"Now then, rank number 30. Sea fiend forneus. Use that power to put an end to your Journey." Medea said as she summoned the Demon God Pillar that was in charge of the Okeanos Singularity.
"Holy crap! It's another one! So that means all of them are real?!" Romani said.
"Rank number 30, 'Forneus?!" She's talking about Solomon's Demon Gods!" David said as he just realised that one of his kin was behind all this chaos.
"Will we-Be able to defeat it?" Atalante said, but Doomguy loaded up two fresh shells into his super shotgun.
"Hey Slayer! You got enough ammo for that thing?" Drake asked with a smirk.
He gives her a thumbs up.
"Yeah! Mashu and Doomguy floored the last one and we can do it again!" Gudao said with overflowing confidence.
"Now that's confidence! Lets get em Anne!" Mary said, unsheathing her blade.
"Heck yeah! Kick ourselves a monster then we can split the loot afterwards!" Anne cheered.
"I Like the way you are thinking-"
"Stop the ship!" Silva shouted, interrupting Drake. Silva quickly dashes toward the bow of the ship as she knew something was coming.
"Oi, Bloodwater, this ain't the time for jests. What gotten into-"
"There's a Titan in these waters!" Silva said, ceasing the cheers and bringing all the attention to herself.
"You mean…the monsters you fought on your homeworld?" Anne asked.
"Yes, I've been hunting those bastards for most of my life. Captain, I know it seems crazy but we need to return to the Island before-"
"Guys watchout! I am detecting something BIG in the water near the Argos!" Romani alerted as his underused sonar was suddenly picking up a massive entity within the vicinity of the ground team.
Everything fell silent, even Forneus sensed something was approaching.
"Haha! Look at you all! Just insects battling for scraps! Now you removed the annoyance of that so-called Demi-god. I think it's time to unleash my greatest creation!" Ranak's voice echoed and the waters around them started to swell as something was about to breach the surface.
"All hands on deck! We need to get this boat turned around yesterday!" Drake ordered as now her senses were telling her to retreat.
"Senpai, Hold on to me!" Mash said as she summoned her shield.
Ritsuka instinctively ran back to Doomguy and he kept her close to him as storm clouds started to form in the skies above. VEGA did a quick scan of the waters around them and confirmed…
"It's heading for the Argos!" VEGA said.
As the thunder crashed in the skies, a giant maw came crashing through the Argos from the depths below. Destroying the Argos and presumably killing all who were aboard the ship
"By the Pits, it's a sea-strider!" Silva said as the beast took the Demon god pillar in its jaws. It wiggled and squirmed, trying to escape from its demise but it was no match for this titan.
"Hahah! I knew it, you call us lesser and yet you fall to a mere titan! Now. I shall destroy you all and take that Grail in the name of the Dark lord." Ranak cackles as bits down on the Forneus, snapping the demon god in half like a twig as it rises out of the sea revealing its reptilian body. A sea-strider was known for its preference for water territories and its more monstrous appearance compared to the humanoid looking titans. Not only a perfect match for the current era but it was also cybernetically enhanced by Ranak himself! The Argos was obliterated and the Servants on board were killed instantly.
"Now, your turn!" Ranak said as the beast opened its jaws to charge up its primary weapon.
"Everyone hang on!" Drake said as she steer the ship as a massive beam of argent energy grazes the ship. Peeling off the dragon-plating and shook the ship causing Silva to go overboard!
"Silva!" Ritsuka called out but it was too late as the waves pushed the Golden Hind back towards the island. She tried to find her among the stormy waters, however, there was no sign of her.
"What do we do now!?" Orion shouted, scared for his life.
"You need to return to solid ground if we have any chance. If we send Doomguy out hold him off then we could-"
"Negatively, Ranak will still target The Hind and The water will hinder the Slayer's ability to take the Titan down swiftly." VEGA shut down Romani's idea.
"Hahaha! It's hopeless for you Slayer! I have outsmarted you and now your pets will suffer for it!" Ranak taunted.
"You sure about that, pea-brain!" The Wretch said and The Titan froze in place.
"Gah! How is this possible?!" Ranak cursed.
"The Wretch!" Everyone said.
"The one and only! I have uploaded a virus to Ranaks little pet. It won't last long but I brought something to even the odds a bit." He pulls out an orb-like device and tosses it to Doomguy.
"What is it? Mashu asked.
"A transfer device and I would not recommend activating it while on the ship. You will need a lot of room to use it if you catch my drift, Slayer." he said and Doomguy instantly knew what The Wretch had brought him.
He looked at Ritsuka, She was frightened after seeing the titan. He placed a hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes.
"Count to four…Inhale" He said
"Count to four…Exhale" Ritsuka responded as she did the breathing exercise.
With that reassurance, Doomguy dives into the stormy sea and uses his enhanced strength to gain distance away from the ship. Swimming through the swelling seas with the speed of hundreds of Olympians against the chaotic sea caused by the mere presence of the Titan.
"Beach us if we have to, I am not letting anyone else fall into that chaos!" Drake said as they managed to return to land safely.
"Dammit Silva…Why didn't you stay by my side…" Drake whispered to herself, feeling guilty for letting her fall into the sea like that...
"Well, We are back on land. What happens now?" Atalante asked The Wretch.
"Watch the fireworks. Now, Slayer!" He said and another massive being rises from the sea, this one of pure metal and mechanical might!
"Holy…Shit…." Romani said gobsmack.
"Such engineering…It's marvellous." Da-Vinci said, suddenly appearing in the control room.
"Now that's Awesome!" Orion said.
"In all of my life I have never seen such a thing!" Atalante said in awe.
"I sure wish I had THAT when I fought the Goliath…" David added.
"Where can we get one!" The Pirate Duo said simultaneously.
"Wow." Asterios said, speaking his words of wisdom.
"Fouuuu!" Fou Cheered.
"No wonder Stheno was scared of him…" Euryale whispered to herself.
"VEGA…is that an Atlan?" Mashu asked as she had read about them in the texts he provided.
"Affirmative. This one customised but is based on the Night Sentinel Class Atlan used against the titans of hell." VEGA stated
"You and Doomguy are just full of surprises," Gudao added with much respect to their help.
Ritsuka, well the situation was utter amazement to her as she watched the two Titans square off. She never thought she would witness something that seemed way too crazy to happen outside of anime or comics.
"...Two Titans meet-as it was written." Samuel Hayden's voice echoed in Ritsuka's mind.
"Oh look, The Wretch has come to save you with a lowly Atan. Bah! My cybernetic might shall be proven superior-"
Doomguy then punched Ranak in the face with a right hook to the jaw to shut him up. Followed by a combo of an uppercut and a roundhouse kick, knocking down the Cyber-Strider into the water. The Slayer blasts at the beast with the Altans twin shoulder cannons, an attack that should've sent bits of titan flesh flying...
"Haha!" The titan comes leaping out of the water and bites down on the mech's arm.
"Tremble before my might!" Ranak then tries to pull him down into the water. Doomguy counters by triggering the energy repulsor built into the mech's gauntlet and blasts the oversized cyber-lizard's jaws open.
"I will crush you!" Ranak fires his Argent beam from the beast's gullet, forcing Doomguy to block it with the Atlans arms and causing the shields to take a hit. As the battle rages on, the others watch as the titans of Hell and metal trade blows. The Slayers combat experience was winning as the Titan's cybernetics started to spark from heavy damage.
"Haha! Ranak thinks giving himself a titan body gives him a chance against The Slayer. Has he not read The Slayer Testaments? So much for being a hell priest." The Wretch cheered as the Atlan he prepared had the upper hand against Ranak's monstrosity.
"So, You just had a mech ready to go for Doomguy-san this entire time?" Mashu asked.
"Well, putting one together for a while because who the heck doesn't want a giant robot. There were lots of abandoned Atlan wrecks outside of Nekravol that I scavenged and repaired. But I was missing a functional torso for the longest time…" The Wretch grew quiet at that last part….
"You took the Atan Torso from The Slayer's base of operations I presume?" VEGA asked and The Wretch nodded as there was no point in hiding it.
"...It's now his Atlan, and i'll be happy to maintain it-"
"Guys! Something is happening!" Gudao said as Ranak's titan unleashed a pulse of energy that has caused Doomguy's Atlan to malfunction, opening him up to attacks.
"He-y the-signal-is-" Romani tried to tell them that the comms were going on the fritz as well.
"I am detecting surges of electromagnetic pulses emanating from the Cyber-titan." VEGA said.
"I guess that's bad for our metal giant?" Drake asked.
"Yes, the coward Ranak is using it to get an advantage since he's getting his ass kicked. I just did a scan and the source of the pulses are on its back." The Wretch cursed as he rushed to get it operational for this fight. He never thought that Ranak would resort to using an EMP on an Altan.
"So then let's do our part and shoot at it! Surely our archers can help that way-" The captain's words were then interrupted by the sounds of Demons screeching as they started coming out of the waters in front of them.
"Looks like we will have to deal with these bastards first! Time to kick some ass!" Drake shouted as the Demons charged at them, hungry for their souls.
"Engaging the enemy! Master, your orders!" Mashu said as they fought off the demon hordes. The red-headed master then thought of Silva who fell into the water, the idea of her being helpless haunted Ritsuka. She tried to refocus as she needed to worry about herself Doomguy was too busy dealing with Ranak, but then heard Asterios run up behind her with Euryale on his Shoulder
"We…Protect…You" He said.
"Don't worry, Just focus on the battle at hand." Euryale added. Ritsuka nods and calms herself down to do the best she can right now. VEGA was trying to remotely help the Slayer but his drone would get fried if he flew out there to provide more support. He was still functioning due to the Praetor Suit's systems being immune to EMP attack so the AI was still able to transmit to the Drone.
Back out of the sea, Doomguy is struggling against constant EMP blasts forcing him to reboot the Mechs systems. It leaves many openings for Ranak to bash him around and deal extensive damage to his mech. Looking back at the shore he gets a sense of dread as Demons invade the Island.
"Look at Slayer, See what destruction you have brought to this world! Your pets will die and their souls will be used to fuel my power!" Ranak laughs before getting blasted in the face as The Slayer manages to get the cannons to fire for a brief moment before getting hit with another EMP.
"The source of the EMP is on the Cyber-strider's back. I am currently trying to find a solution." VEGA said, trying to find a weakness to exploit.
"Gah! Squirm all you want! You can't defeat me while I have my EMP. You won't even be able to eject to go save that worthless little girl!" Ranak laughs while firing another Argent Blast that severed the Atlans left arm at the shoulder. Doomguy grunts over the surge of pain from the Nerve-link that allows precise control over the Atlan. The pain would cause many Pilots to pass out yet he endured as he has suffered worst…
Much worse…
"Left arm severed, rerouting power systems…Slayer, I am detecting an incoming sentinel transmission. Shall I retroute it to your personal comms?" VEGA asks and Doomguy nods.
"Atlan…This is The…Spear…Do you read…?" The EMP field was making the transmission sound static and choppy…Yet the voice was familiar.
"Boosting the signal…" VEGA said.
"Unknown Atlan! This is The Coast Spear! We are coming up on the enemy's flank to assist! Please respond." The voice over the comms was none other than Siva Bloodwater.
She immediately went unconscious as she got hit by the argent beam that grazed the hind. Silva woke up sinking into the abyss as she could feel the damage to her spirit origin taking its toll on her body.
"I see…This is what is like…The pain…The hopelessness. I should've been with you all that day…I…Deserve it…"
"Not entirely…"
"What?"
"You have made a grave mistake. However you are not the only one…I, King Novik should have known of the Angels temptations. A failure that will forever mark my soul…Yet our people still believe in me…Through that faith I remain as a guide for those lost after our grand society was fractured… I will not let more innocent souls fall to the pits of hell."
"Lord Novik…I failed them, I deserve to be punished"
"Your crew's souls are lost, but their memories remain. As a servant you can crystalize those memories into reality."
"You mean…"
"The Slayer may not agree with it, but all free thinking Sentinels deserve a chance at redemption…Even you…Captain Bloodwater."
"Coast Spear! This is VEGA, the titan is equipped with a device that hinders Atlan systems. The device is located on metal plating on its back and pulses when it's about to fire." VEGA said.
"Understood, we will fire from a safe distance and draw its attention. Bloodwater out" Silva confirmed as her ship shifted into attack positions.
"Lower the sails and switch to engine power! Load the cannons with Titan-scorch rounds. Ballistas, hit it in between the armour plates!" Silva orders and her Noble Phantasm, The Coasts Spear, responds.
"A Sea Striker? Where did that come from!?" Ranak words only got the response of burning cannon fire and piercing heavy bolts.
"Lord Slayer, I will draw its attention. Once Ranak turns his back on you, take your chance to strike. Don't worry about me, focus on Ritsuka and her friends." Silva said, as a Titan hunter herself she knew how to fight those things without an Atlan. Doomguy respected the assist and prepped his mech for a swift counter-attack.
Back on the shore, Chaldea was holding their ground against the endless demon horde.
"Senpai! Watch out!" Mashu yelled as she stood in the way of a charging Pinky. It crashes right into her shield and dies on impact.
"Man these things are relentless! I doubt even Hades could handle these monsters!" Orion commented as Artemis shot down a Pain Elemental.
"Uncle Hades would be revolted by these things!" Artemis said as she shoots down five cacodemons with one shot. David and Atalante were focused on keeping Drake and her crew safe while The masters directed the rest.
"RAAAAAAHHHHH!" Asterios was on a rampage as he carved through Hellspawn after Hellspawn with his twin battle axes while Euryale sat on his shoulder.
"There you are…" Ritsuka turned around to find a Marauder approaching her. She fires gandr shots at him but his shield absorbs the spell.
"You will-WAH!" The marauder's right leg was grabbed by Asterios and was now smashing him about, Dying within seconds.
"Puny…Demon…" Asterios said as he drops the corpse.
"Thanks for the save. Hey Look!" Ritsuka said, pointing out to the sea.
"Another ship? I have never seen a ship like that in my life." Drake said while kicking a Zombie to the ground.
"Little eyeball, you got any idea what's going on?" Mary asked
"That is Silva's Ship, The Coastal spear, her Noble Phantasm. She is currently assisting The Slayer in defeating Ranaks Titan." VEGA said as he fired upon some hellhounds with his drone's onboard shock attack. Right when he was done talking a roar was heard as The Coast Spear fired everything it had at Ranak, causing much frustration for the hell priest.
"Gahh! I know that Ship! Bloodwater! You were reported dead, nonetheless a Maykr loyalist. How in the world are you with The Slayer?!" Ranak yelled as he fired another laser at the ship which barely dodged it.
"I learned the truth Ranak! I will pay for my crimes with your destruction! Hard to port! RAMMING SPEED!" Captain Silva shouted with determination as her ship turned around to face the Titan head on! It was time for her to have The Spear claim another Titan to the abyss as all power was diverted to the engines and the primary cannon.
"YOU SHALL THEN PERESH FOR YOUR HERESY! DIEEE" Ranak shouts as many rocket podes open on the Cyber-strider's body and launch their payload. Silva's ship takes a beating yet sails forward regardless of the damage as this was the ship's purpose to kill Titans!
"On my mark, fire the Particle Cannon!" The bow of the ship splits open to reveal a Maykr-made weapon of mass destruction.
"An Ultra Class particle beam generator!?" Ranak recognized the piece of holy technology.
"Is that fear I see in your eyes Ranak! This is the prelude to your defeat! FIRE!" The ship unleashes its primary weapon at maximum power. Ranak responds with a fully powered Argent beam with both beams colliding with each other. Both destructive forces pushed at each other, a seeming stalemate. The Cyber-Strider then steps forward to force the surge towards Sliva who doesn't falter.
"Keep Firing! This time I will stand with you in our final moments!" Silva shouted as the surge engulfed the ship in a massive explosion.
"Silva!" Drake shouted.
"I'm sorry…She's…gone." Ritsuka said as she felt her contract with the Sentinel warrior end.
"Her sacrifice shall not be in vain." VEGA said
"Such a fate will follow all who defy-" Ranak then felt something grab at his back, without even guessing it was Doomguy who snuck up behind him. Grabbing onto the EMP Emitter with full power and started pulling.
"No! No! It was a Trick! Let me go!" The hell priest tried to shake The Slayer off but his efforts were in vain. Doomguy pulled hard on the EMP with the Atlan's remaining hand. Ripping it from its socket and pulling out cables and flesh as many of the titan's systems are going haywire!
"He's ripping out the EMP Thanks to Silva distracting Ranak long enough for him to get close!" Mashu said as Ranak fired missiles in all directions in a panic.
"Mashu! Shield up!" Gudao said as some of those missiles were heading at them!
"LORD CHADLEA'S!" Mashu quickly deployed her shield to protect the group from the argent fuel munitions.
"YEAH! SLAYER! MAKE THE BASTARD PAY!" Captain Drake shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Show that oversized lizard whose boss!" Anne said as Doomguy ripped the EMP Emitter off the Titan causing catastrophic damage to the towering beast.
"No! No! No! Work you useless piece of slag!" Ranak shouted because all of his weapons systems were now offline. He was now completely vulnerable and don't you think that The Slayer didn't see those stray missiles fly at his allies.
"Master Ritsuka! Your final Command Seal!" VEGA said.
"On it! By order of the command seal, give Berserker the power to destroy Ranak and free this era from Hell!" Ritsuka cast her last command seal and Doomguy felt the surge right away. Using that extra power he activates Quad-Damage and transfers the boost to his Atlan. Causing it to glow purple with lighting surging throughout the mecha.
"No! You can't! I had everything planned!" Many explosions engulfed Ranak's titan as ripping the EMP made all the cybernetics unstable. Only to look in horror as the Atlan charges up its twin, Quad-Charged, cannons.
"AHHH! EJECT! EJEEEEECCCT!" Ranak screams as The Slayer fires twin beams of pure weaponized wraith-fire that bring total annihilation to the titan as it explodes in a blinding blue light that pierces through the clouds.
Once the smoke had blown away in the sea wind and the sunlight broke through the separating storming clouds.
"All Demonic activity has ceased. It would appear that the titan was being used as an anchor for Hell's forces. Ritsuka and the others are safe with no casualties other than Silva Bloodwater…I will commence the search for the Holy Grail and then we can truly finish our mission." VEGA reported as Doomguy leaned back in the pilot seat…Another victory…at the cost of one of their own. Silva's sacrifice will not be forgotten, even if he couldn't accept her…She came to the defence of Ritsuka and Gudao's world.
He had to respect that at least.
Once Doomguy returned with the heavily damaged Atlan, everyone congratulated him on blasting Ranak to bits while also mourning the loss of Silva.
"Silva went out like a badass…We would've been more in trouble if it wasn't for her." Drake said, saddened, yet was happy to see her first mate in action as a Captain.
"Silva…Protected…Euryale…Forever…Friend." Asterios said as everyone searched the Area for the grail.
"Yes, It is all thanks to her and Doomguy-san that this victory was swift. I'm sure you both agree, right Senpai?" She said while standing beside her master.
"Yep. That was one heck of a battle." He said looking over to Ritsuka and Doomguy who were searching the shoreline for the missing Grail. The Holy Grail went flying somewhere nearby according to VEGA but he can't pinpoint its exact location.
The Wretch would've helped but he insisted that he focused on assessing the repairs of the mech so he could have it combat-ready again in case they needed it. Doomguy gave the green light and now the Ex-demon went off looking for the severed limb to speed up the repairs.
"Man…things got really crazy there eh?" Ritsuka said as they walked. Doomguy agreed as he should've expected the Hellpriest to resort to more of his cyber-necromancy. He was glad it wasn't the Icon of Sin he cyberized and just some run-of-the-mill lizard titan. That would've caused some real mayhem that would've risked the lives of everyone.
"Hey, Thanks for trusting me with Silva. I know you have your issues with Maykr Loyalist so I am glad that you put your faith in me." She said with a bright smile. Doomguy nodded as he commended her ability to form contracts without issue. She just needs to learn her limits and share the burden with Gudao. It was the only criticism he had of her, everything else can be passed as she was only just a kid. One of three very brave and strong-willed kids that are about to restore another foundation of humanity.
"...What's that over there?" Ritsuka said pointing out an object sticking out like a sore thumb at the beach. Both walked up to it to find it was a cowboy hat, which was completely random for the area they were in.
"Weird, why would this be here?" Ritsuka said as both heard a small metallic thud at their feet. The Holy Grail they were looking for fell out of the hat! The hat then shortly poofed into nothingness which only raised the eyebrows of the master and servant.
"...Ok. Well. We got The Grail now! Come on, let's go tell the others!" Ristuka then picked up the chalice and ran back to the group with Doomguy. VEGA confirmed it was the Grail they were looking for and at the moment communications were restored with Chaldea.
"Awesome! I watched the whole thing from here and I was at the edge of my seat. The Singularity has already started to collapse and I will rayshifting you shortly." Romani said as Drake approached them.
"Ah. I guess I won't be taking you around the world then." Drake said.
"Sorry about that, Captain Drake. We are still thankful for your help in taking us on your ship." Mashu said.
"No problem! It was one hell of an adventure. But I can still tell that you have one issue lingering in your mind, Mashu." Drake said.
"Well…I just wonder why Jason even wanted to sacrifice Euryale in the first place. He made a band of heroes yet he sought out an evil deed." Mashu said, confused about Argo's captain's choices.
"Well, let me tell you this: Wrongdoers do good deeds at times, and good men do evil deeds at times. That's how humans are. That's why there is hope in everyone." Drake stated. Those words seemed to resonate with Mashu as she started to learn more and more about how to be human. A concept that she just started to be in tune with each singularity restoration.
Now as again it was time to say goodbyes as everyone but drake started to fade away. Even her crew was returning from whence they came and they all said their thanks to drake for leading them to this victory. As all the servants faded away and the Chaldea trio was Rayshifted back to Chaldea, Doomguy was once again the last one.
"Hey, Slayer. Before you go, I just want to say thanks again. You are one of the biggest bad-asses I have ever seen and I wish you luck in your quest. I would like to say I want to join you, but I think I'll stick with helping the stargazers. Exploration is more of my thing rather than conquest." Drake honestly said as the battle with hell really drained her and now she just wanted some rest.
Doomguy nods and offers a handshake which Drake accepts. He understood that this Francis Drake wasn't a servant, but just a human using her grail to keep up with everyone.
"Thanks, May you have fair winds on your journey!" Drake smiled one last time before finally the Slayer was taken back to Chaldea.
In the distance, watchful eyes would see two familiar faces watching the captain return to her ship.
"The entire time she was using the grail to give her servant-like abilities. She's not a servant so we can't take her with us. Well at least Bloodwater got her noble phantasm." Jeanne Alter said, donning her customized black sentinel armour.
"Umu. it is unfortunate yet I commend her abilities as a human. I only wished we would have joined in the final battle. It seemed glorius" Nero Claduis said, wearing a new white coloured outfit.
"We confirmed Novik's suspicions. It's only a matter of time before Chaldea gets attacked if Ranak is involved…" Jeanne Alter said as she opened a portal.
"How long until that happens?" Nero asked.
"According to Novik's visions, It will happen after the sixth singularity is resolved. But I know we are going to kick their asses back to the hellhole they crawled out of!" Jeanne Alter boasted.
"Umu! In the meantime let's try to find one more servant to help us out!" Nero said as both entered the portal to their next destination. As the portal closed a man with a shrouded face appeared and took a swig of whisky.
"Man, Slayer, you know how to bring a party together. " The lonesome Drifter said.

AN: ...ANOTHER SINGULARITY DONE! Damn it feels good to finally have the first few singularities done part of me wanted to just skip the earlier parts of FGO but I choose to take on the challenge of doing it from the start. I wanted my first Grand Order fic to cover the entire storyline rather than just skipping to say the later parts of Arc1 or just going to Epics of Remnant and The Lostbelts.
So yeah this was a BIG BOI chapter as I wanted to move on to London and get another At Chaldea's Gate going. Big thanks to Darklord331 for Betaing this one.
Hopefully, I didn't take too much out for the sake of the final fight of Okeanos that I had planned since Rome. Hugo Martin worked on Pacific Rim so I HAD to a Mech v Kaiju fight in Sea-Based Singularity. Before anyone asks, Ranak can't remove the Crucible blade on the Icon of sin or they would've revived the titan back in Tera's Nabad a long time ago. So I made an OC titan that Ranak cyber-ized to suit his crazy needs. Regardless I was having so much fun in making this one so I hope you all enjoy it!
Finally, It looks like Jeanne Alter and Nero are still looking about for servants to join their little Slayers Club(I am Sorry). Who'd be joining next...? You'd have to wait to find out!(Muahahaha!)
