20th CHAPTER! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! HAPPY 2019 EVERYONE!
IMPORTANT UPDATE NOTE 6/28/2019: It has come to my attention I used WAY too many Kaiju for this battle and a lot of people have brought this up and they're absolutely right. So I have decided to complety nix the Monster Hunter monsters and Ralph for this battle and replace them with two classic Kaiju to give it a Destroy All Monsters feel. But don't worry, the MH Kaiju and Ralph will appear again for another battle. I also changed up Rodan and Mothra so be sure to look up their new updates in the encyclopedia section.

Prehistoric Renaissance

MT. ELBRUS-SOUTHERN RUSSIA
Within the tallest mountain in the European continent, something began to stir. The very tip of the mountain began to shake until its left half crumbled off completely. The dust settled to reveal a massive alcove…and something within it.
Poking his head out, he stretched his wings and took note that this area of Earth was unnaturally humid. It was a reminder of what The Great Cataclysm had done to this once beautiful planet. But then he sensed something. Concentrating, he could feel the life energy of two of his friends, one of which was very, very weak.
Not wasting any time, he took flight and headed east while praying that he wouldn't be too late this time…
AYERS ROCK-NORTHERN AUSTRALIA
Once a popular tourist destination and sacred to the Aboriginal natives, the largest rock monolith in the world now resembled a giant glacier than an actual rock. The 2nd Impact had plunged the entire continent of Australia into a state of permanent snowy winter, killing off countless species that were never suited for sub-zero conditions and forcing almost the whole country's populace to evacuate.
This left nearly the entire continent a lifeless, frozen wasteland. But not for long. The area around Ayers began to rumble as a hairline crack began to snake its way up the frozen rock. The rumbling increased in volume until something burst forth from the top of the rock, the result of said thing burrowing right through it!
Shaking the snow off of him, he looked around at the endless sea of white before him and the icy cold wind whipped around him. There was never any snow on this continent! The Great Cataclysm must've been worse than he originally thought.
Suddenly snapping his head up to the north, he could sense two familiar life energies, one of which was heading towards the other two at high speed. Recognizing what those energies belonged to, he leapt off the rock and began to burrow deep into the earth…
SOUTH PACIFIC-SKULL ISLAND
From atop Fairy Mothra, the Shobijin were intensely focused on their objective as their steed flew towards the entrance to the Iwi capital city. As they flew into the cave past the murals adorning the walls, one of the Shobijin looked behind her.
"Did you feel that?"
"Yes, but we must make haste. Those four will not be enough to defeat this one."
After flying through the city, they reached the destroyed the remains of the gateway that connected Earth to The Lost Land. Fairy Mothra landed a few feet away from the base of the gateway while the Shobijin quickly disembarked. Kneeling, the Shobijin extended their palms as their eyes closed in concentration. A blue aura began to flow from their hands like water and they opened their eyes which were now a glowing light blue.
Then, pieces of the gateway began to glow blue as well and began to levitate…
NERV-GENDO'S OFFICE
Gendo and Fuyutsuki started up at the ceiling. The two of them had heard a loud rumbling sound followed by another sound they couldn't make heads or tails of. Whether it was the Angel or something else, it had the both of them on edge.
Gendo's phone started to ring and he immediately answered it, bringing the receiver up to his ear.
"Commander Ikari speaking….what?!"
After a few seconds he shot up from his desk, slammed his fist and roared, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S ANOTHER ONE?!"
MT. FUTAGO
Everyone continued to stare in shock at the massive dinosaur before them. It towered over them like an angry god about to go on a warpath. Nobody dared to move an inch, fearing that they might catch the beast's attention.
Shinji however, felt his shock slowly turn into awe. 'Another dinosaur…there's actually more them!'
Anguirus shook his left hind leg to ease the discomfort. He was supposed to wake up from his hibernation sooner but once again, overslept as usual. It appeared as if the humans had disturbed him, he didn't exactly care if it was accidental or intentional. Then he spotted something he didn't think he would see again in a million years: a Dark One.
One of the demons responsible for The Great Cataclysm floated above the city with a thin portion of it sticking downward. Anguirus could sense that this one was much different than the ones he fought during the war against them millions of years ago. It was also apparently much stronger.
As Anguirus weighed his options on how to combat this abomination, he noticed something out in the distance. In a large crater near a large strip of woodlands that had been blasted away…was Godzilla. His king…his friend…reduced to such a deplorable condition. He could feel his life energy; it was incredibly faint.
Sheer rage clouded his vision as he turned his attention to the Dark One that was now fully deserving of his wrath. The people below could've sworn they saw its eyes turn red. With a mighty bellow, Anguirus launched himself from his position and thundered down the mountain like a runaway train! More debris flew everywhere and everyone scrambled away for dear life! Ritsuko noticed Maya trip over her feet a little and saw one of the excavators slowly began to fall over towards her!
"MAYA!" Ritsuko shouted as she ran over and tackled her out of the way of the falling excavator just in time as it crashed to the ground. Maya was screaming hysterically, tears of fright streaming down her eyes as Ritsuko helped her up.
Misato scrambled over to the surveillance van which was thankfully undamaged and turned to the survivors. "EVERYONE GET BACK TO NERV HQ ASAP! RITSUKO! YOU AND THE OTHERS ARE WITH ME!"
As the Nerv staff ran to the nearest source of transportation, Ritsuko, Shinji, Rei and the Bridge Bunnies ran into the van while Shigeru jumped into the front seat. "DRIVE!" Misato shouted as Shigeru slammed his foot on the gas! The van roared to life and it drove down the mountain pathway as the creature charged towards the Angel.
TOKYO-3
(Final Wars-Godzilla vs The Three Monsters, starts 0:32)
Ramiel was starting to feel annoyed. He was making excellent progress on drilling down to his objective and then another one of those revolting creatures shows up. He had heard the creature's call and now it was charging straight towards him in rage. But he wasn't worried. The second this thing came within range, it would fall just like the last one.
Anguirus continued to charge through the forest, dead-set and making this monster pay for what he did to Godzilla. He was nearing the city when he saw the Dark One start transform into a different shape and began to charge up for an attack. The Dark One then fired an energy beam straight at Anguirus!
But then, in a move that clearly wasn't fit for a beast of his size, Anguirus leapt away from the beam before it could hit him! He began to run around the city as the beam followed him but he was rapidly picking up speed until he was actually outrunning the beam!
Four of Ramiel's panels flew up to his top and formed into turrets; pelting the creature with energy blasts but due to the creature's armored hide, it didn't even slow it down or hurt it one bit! Anguirus continued to run around the city, avoiding the beam and shrugging off the blasts until he turned on a dime and bolted right towards the Dark One!
Ramiel began to panic. He wasn't suited for close range combat and while his AT-Field protected him, it did not extend to his drill. As the monster plowed through several buildings, Ramiel shifted into his cross shape and fired a stronger, bigger version of his Particle Cannon at the monster! Anguirus quickly curled himself into a ball as the beam hit him dead on, once again engulfing half the city!
After a few seconds, Ramiel stopped his attack; knowing that it couldn't have possible survived that. But the Dark One would find itself eating its own words as Anguirus torpedoed himself out of the cloud like a giant cannonball!
Anguirus slammed into Ramiel, creating a gong –like noise that reverberated throughout Tokyo-3 as he bounced off the AT-Field. Landing on the ground, Anguirus rolled out of the way when the Dark One attacked again and he circled around, slamming himself into the Dark One again. He bounced away from the Dark One while flattening small buildings in his path as the Dark One fired wildly at him, a sign that it was frustrated. Exactly what Anguirus wanted.
The Kaiju knew that this one was incredibly powerful but it seemed to be rooted to the spot and it's attacks were meant to deter him from getting any closer. Ricocheting off a building, he was about to slam into the Dark One again but then its panels formed a shield and bounced him back to the other end of the city.
Undeterred, Anguirus began to spin in place, gaining speed as he did so, while Ramiel's panels liked up in front of him as he charged up another beam. Anguirus shot towards Ramiel just as he fired his Particle Cannon. The beam was close to hitting Anguirus but he had a trick up his sleeve. He unfurled himself at the right moment so that he went under the beam and he charged towards Ramiel!
Rapidly closing the distance, Anguirus saw the Dark One frantically stop it's attack and try to counter with its panels again but he powerslided away from the attacking panels to the left side of the Dark One and then swung his clubbed tail at the drill, snapping it in half! Anguirus let out a victorious snort, steam billowing from his nostrils.
TOKYO-3 OUTSKIRTS
The surveillance van drove down the highway as a series of rumbles shook the area. Within the van, Shigeru and Misato sat in the front seat while Shinji, Rei, Ritsuko, Hyuga and Maya sat in the back. Maya had managed to reprogram the monitors to show camera footage of the fight between the Angel and a second MSC. Needless to say, they were amazed to see this one turn the tables so quickly.
"It did it! It destroyed the drill!" Maya exclaimed, excitement in her voice.
"Unbelievable! How can something so big move like a freakin' cheetah?!" Hyuga questioned as the ankylosaurs swiftly dodged out of the way of the Angel's Particle Beam weapon.
"Or bounce around like a pinball for that matter." Shinji added as the monster curled up into a ball again and hurled itself at the Angel's AT-Field.
Rei silently watched the battle, giving no comment.
"We need to rethink our strategies now. Misato, what's our next plan of action?" Ritsuko asked.
"Yeah, where're we heading, Captain?" Shigeru turned to Misato as he drove.
"I dug up another one…" Misato mumbled, seemingly in shock as she stared ahead wide-eyed. "I dug up another MSC! How could I have let this happen?! Oh God, Gendo's going to use me for target practice!"
"Woah, woah, woah!" Shinji cut in. "How were any of us supposed to know we would end up waking up another dinosaur?"
"He's right! If anything, it's my fault!" Hyuga confessed. "I was the one who picked out the mountain!"
"It's not anybody's fault!" Shinji reasoned.
"Captain? Mitsuo Katagiri from CCI is on line 1. He's sounds disgruntled." Maya informed. Cursing under her breath, Misato got up went over to the console.
"Put him on." She begrudgingly ordered. Maya pressed a yellow button on the console to activate the intercom.
"Captain Misato, this is Katagiri. Why am I getting reports of the Positron Cannon in pieces and another monster fighting the Angel?!"
"We were excavating Mt. Futago for Operation Yashima when we inadvertently awoke a 2nd MSC that just so happened to be inside the mountain and the Positron Cannon was destroyed in the process. The odds of something like this happening are a million to one-"
"I knew it! I knew you of all people would find a way to botch this operation and make our current predicament worse! You'll be the captain of subway toilets by the time I'm finished with you! I am taking full control of this situation as of now!"
Misato knit her eyebrows in frustration and annoyance. "Control of this operation still belongs to Nerv, Katagiri! Stand down and let us handle this-"
"LET YOU HANDLE IT?! DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH HARDWARE THE JSSDF BROUGHT OUT HERE?! YOU JUST BLEW BILLIONS OF THIS COUNTRY'S YEN OUT OF YOUR BUTT!"
It was at this moment when Shinji strode up to the console and pressed the yellow button, cutting Katagiri off mid-rant.
"Wha-Shinji!?"
"We've got bigger things to worry about than listen to some jerkbag scream his head off. We have to get back to Nerv and get a plan going." Shinji stated with importance.
Rei went up to the front behind Shigeru's seat and pointed over his shoulder. "There is an access point that will take down to headquarters up ahead. Turn left, then make a right and follow the dirt road up the hill."
"Uh, r-right." Shigeru replied, thrown off by her sudden advice. Misato and Ritsuko looked on, surprised at the Pilots level of maturity.
TOKYO-3
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Anguirus dodged out of the way of another beam attack and ran through the buildings of the city. The Dark One's force field was incredibly powerful and hit was still holding after taking such powerful blows but sooner or later it would break. He just had to land in a few more hits to shatter it.
Ramiel was royally ticked. It would take him weeks to reform another drill from his body and was tired of these constant interruptions. Aiming for the monster's legs, Ramiel fired a quick shot at its front feet. It hit the creature in the left leg, causing it to trip and tumble through a row of buildings. Anguirus tried to get up but was met with an energy beam to his side, hitting one of his unprotected spots! He howled in pain as he was hit by another blast to his side as the panes fired more shots at him!
TOKYO-3 OUTSKIRTS
The Nerv crews flinched when they heard the sound of the 2nd MSC's agonized yowls. Circled around the body of the MSC, the crews previously saw Mt. Futago explode to reveal another monster. They were all understandably scared when they heard the battle and even more worried about the possibility of others monsters hiding out in the world.
Another roar of pain echoed from Tokyo-3, causing all those present to become even more frightened. But then some of them noticed the MSC's hand began to twitch. And then its eyes snapped open! Everyone began to flee in panic as the MSC got up, charred skin flaking off to reveal unblemished scales.
Weakly standing to its full height, everyone saw the MSC's eyes widen as it looked towards Tokyo-3 as the second monster howled again. It then ran towards the direction of the city, its swinging tail creating a gust of wind that blew away the perimeter Nerv had established around it! The MSC was covering ground at an unreal pace as it shed more and more of its burnt skin.
NERV-CENTRAL DOGMA COMMAND CENTER
Misato, Ritsuko ,Shinji, Rei and the Bridge Bunnies had just arrived in the nick of time at Nerv as they hurried into the command center. The Bridge Bunnies immediately went to their stations while Misato and Ritsuko stood in the middle, watching the 2nd MSC get blasted again by the Angel on the main screen.
Shinji and Rei stood near them while Gendo and Fuyutsuki watched from their usual spot, the former in a particularly foul mood. Before Misato could give out orders, the loudspeakers suddenly blared out a frantic message.
"THIS IS SURVEY TEAM 5! THE MSC IS AWAKE! I REPEAT, THE MSC IS AWAKE!"
The roar of the MSC resounded from the loudspeakers and the monitor showed the dinosaur charge into Tokyo-3 in fury. The Angel backed away from the downed 2nd MSC and fired its Particle Canon at the MSC but the dinosaur actually tanked the beam and continued to advance towards the Angel, roaring loudly as it began to charge up its Atomic Breath! The 2nd MSC got up and rolled itself into a ball again, this time heading right towards the 1st MSC as the Angel formed its panels into a shield.
Everyone held their breaths as the MSC began to close the distance to the Angel while the 2nd MSC bounced ever closer. Everyone tensed up as they got closer and closer, fearing that they now had three creatures of mass destruction to deal with and they had no plan at all, instead to just simply wait who would be left standing in the end.
But what happened next threw everybody in for a massive loop.
The MSC instantly canceled its Atomic Breath just as the 2nd MSC unfurled its tail mid-bounce. The MSC then grabbed its tail and swung it right into the Angel's shield like an oversized mace, shattering the shield!
TOKYO-3
(Avengers Infinity War-Thor arrives in Wakanda)
SKKKKKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH
The panels shattered apart like glass as the armored, spiky hide of Anguirus slammed against with astounding force applied by Godzilla! He swung Anguirus again against the Dark One, inflicting massive damage to its force field and sending it skidding away from the two.
Godzilla set Anguirus down and the two of them prepared to fight once again. As much as they wanted to show how happy they were to see each other again, Godzilla feeling immensely overjoyed that he was reunited with another Kaiju and his best friend, they needed to focus on eliminating this Dark One first.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
A high pitched noise entered their eardrums as the two kaiju looked up to the sky to found the source. But the Dark One had already picked itself up and changed its shape into star to fire at them again-
EeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
A red blur suddenly streaked down from the clouds above and swooped over the Dark Once, creating a massive sonic boom strong enough to launch the dark one into a building! The blur swerved around and fired a purple beam of pure uranium at the Dark One, knocking it back down! The blur then swooped up and landed on top of one of the taller buildings, creating a small cloud of dust around it. A large pair of wings unfurled itself to blow away the smoke and reveal another one of Godzilla's comrades: Rodan!
Rodan was a 90 meter tall pterodactyl with dark red skin, a horned crest and his general appearance made him look like he was seemingly made out of lava while the bottom portion of his wings were aglow with fire. The pterodactyl Kaiju screeched loudly into the air, windows shattering from the volume.
The Dark One began rise float itself up from the ground-
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLL
The hillside behind the Dark One exploded and a 95 meter, allosaurus-like creature with blue and yellow scales charged forth, jumped up and delivered a kangaroo kick so powerful that it destroyed the Dark One's shield! The force of the kick sent it careening through Tokyo-3's solar arrays and into Lake Aishi! It was Gorosaurus!
NERV-CENTRAL DOGMA COMMAND CENTER
Everyone's mouths were wide open. Now there were four MSC in Tokyo-3 and they had succeeded in destroying the 5th Angel's At-Field. The city had been turned into a giant prehistoric petting zoo.
The pterodactyl flew in close and perched itself on a smaller buildings while the allosaurus lumbered up to the others. Then, they started making short roars, low growls and other animal like noises to each other.
"Are they…talking to each other?" Shinji asked the questioned everybody was thinking and was just as confused as everyone else in the command center.
"Interspecies communication…..!" Ritsuko whispered in amazement.
TOKYO-3
Through his own language, Godzilla express his deepest relief that his friends were alive and well, with Anguirus, Rodan and Gorosaurus feeling the same. He then asked what had happen to them after The Great Cataclysm.
Anguirus and Rodan revealed to Godzilla that the both of them were coming to assist him but they were instantly caught in the blast radius of The Great Cataclysm. They were greatly weakened from that horrible experience and were forced to go into hibernation in different parts of the Earth in order to recuperate.
Gorosaurus explained that he was at Skull Island when The Great Cataclysm occurred and he, along with other Kaiju quickly started to evacuate back to The Lost Land to regroup when the ecosystem was rapidly deteriorating before everyone's eyes. He and Nemesis were the last ones to go through the gateway but an earthquake and unnatural energies created by The Great Cataclysm destabilized the portal, causing it close shut on Nemesis in a sudden explosion! Like Anguirus and Rodan, he too had to go into hibernation.
Godzilla lamented the loss of Nemesis and his inability to prevent the prophesized cataclysm the previous Shobijin foretold. His friends assured him that that he was not at fault and that Nemesis' soul would've most likely sought out a human host and they could concentrate on finding her. Godzilla agreed and perked up, happy that he was no longer alone in the world.

The sound of splashing water caught their attention and saw the Dark One rise out of the lake, its appearance more jagged and spiky looking to reflect its anger. Godzilla and the other stood side by side, ready to do battle. For him, it was a sensation of nostalgia: He and his comrades fighting together against a malicious foe to protect their homes.
Just like old times.

The Kaiju charged towards the Dark One as it fired its beam at them, the group dodging out of the way as it floated into the city and grew sharp, curved appendages out of its body. Fury coursed throughout Ramiel's form, he had completely forgotten about his mission and he just wanted these things to die.
Gorosaurus lashed out with his tail, the pointed stinger at the end striking the Dark One in its "arm" as Anguirus rolled up into a ball and bounced towards it. The Dark One swatted Anguirus aside as fired its beam weapon just as Godzilla unleashed his Atomic Breath, the two beams colliding against each other. Rodan swooped in and dive-bombed the Dark One, his diamond hard beak penetrating its crystalline hide and ripping out a sizable chunk. This distraction gave Godzilla enough time to overtake it's beam and hit the Dark One just as Rodan dislodged himself and Gorosaurus jumped back.
Stumbling backward, Ramiel transformed into a cannon-like shape and blasted Rodan out of the sky! Watching his friend plummet to the ground, Gorosaurus roared furiously and charged the Dark One, ducking underneath a swing of its limb and clamped down on it with his powerful jaws. Anguirus recovered from the last hit and rolled towards the preoccupied Dark One that was about to hit Gorosaurus with one of hits hooked limbs, he unfurled himself when got close and swung his mace tail at the limb, snapping it off! At the same time, Gorosaurus ripped its other limb off with a heave just as Godzilla and Rodan rushed in and began slugging/clawing the Dark One viscously.
The Dark One suddenly sprouted spikes all over its body, causing the two to quickly back away from him just as hexagonal column shot out of it and slammed into him. The Dark One began rapidly spinning around, firing energy blasts everywhere, destroying the city further and tearing apart the landscape! The Kaiju dodged away from the blast though they were eventually getting pelted!
Anguirus charged and rammed the Dark One, interrupting its attack and allowing Rodan to hit it with his Uranium Beam while Godzilla and Gorosaurus recovered and moved in.
SOUTH PACIFIC-SKULL ISLAND
The Shobijin had just finished reassembling the gateway and were now visibly straining from the massive undertaking but they couldn't stop now. Increasing their concentration, jolts of azure energy began crackling around the gateway as a small orb began to form in the center until it expanded into a bright, shining light exploded from it! The Shobijin finally collapsed, winded and exhausted as Fairy Mothra helped them up.
Looking to the portal, they saw a swirling vortex of blue and green within the gateway and their expressions were that of tearstained joy as several massive forms stepped forth from the portal…
TOKYO-3
Godzilla kicked Anguirus while he was curled up right towards the Dark One! He hit it dead center and ricocheted back towards Gorosaurus who kangaroo kicked him back to the Dark One! It attempted to blast Anguirus with its weapon only for Rodan to fly behind it and clap his wings together; creating a sonic boom that launched the Dark One right into Anguirus! He crashed right into the Dark One, sending it tumbling across the wrecked city.
The Dark One recovered almost instantly and began shooting a hailstorm of crystalline spikes at the Kaiju! Some of them were painfully embedded in their skin but Godzilla swept his Atomic Breath across the ground, creating a smokescreen. The Dark One fired wildly into smoke, hoping that he could hit them but it was too thick to see the silhouettes. The team had moved back from the smoke out of the Dark One's line of fire. Pulling the deeply embedded spikes out of their hides; Godzilla began to formulate a plan…
Ramiel stopped firing and moved in closer as the smokescreen cleared away. When it finally dissipated, the creatures were gone save for a large hole in the ground. Nearing closer to the hole, something flew out of it and Ramiel looked up to see one of the flying monsters carrying the 2nd monster by the tail while it was stilled curled up! Before the Dark One could react, Gorosaurus exploded out of the ground and kangaroo kicked it just as Godzilla emerged from the hole and slammed his fist into it, following up with a tail whip and sending it skidding backwards.
Rodan dived down towards the Dark One and released Anguirus like he was a jet dropping a bomb! Anguirus cannonballed into the Dark One, creating a massive crack in its diamonded skin and stunning it. Taking advantage, Anguirus and Gorosaurus flanked behind it and the two of them tail whipped it towards Rodan and Godzilla who blasted it with a combination of their Atomic/Uranium breaths.
The Dark one tumbled across the city and skidded to a halt on the ground. As the four Kaiju regrouped and readied themselves. Godzilla warned the others that these Dark Ones were able to transform into more powerful forms so they had to finish this thing off as soon as possible.
KRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM
The Kaiju turned around behind them to see the side of a nearby mountain crumble away to reveal a large, cavernous opening. Suddenly they heard the sounds of the Dark One morphing and turned back around to see the Dark One had taken on a star-like shape, charging up another beam attack. But this one was different; Godzilla could sense the sheer power emanating from the Dark One as let out a high pitched wail!
Godzilla got in front of his friends and charged up his Atomic Breath but the Dark One was already at maximum power! The core glowed brightly, a sign that it was only seconds away from firing-
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
A stream of rainbow colored beams and three bolts of lightning-like energy rained down from above the clouds, hitting the Dark One and interrupting its attack! Looking up to the sky, Godzilla and the others were astounded at what they saw.
Descending from the clouds was Mothra, an enormous moth with white, red and black fur along with spectacular wings with mesmerizing patters adorned across them and dazzling, sapphire colored compound eyes! Following beside her was Ghidorah, a three headed dragon with dazzling golden scales and two tails ending in pointed spikes!
"CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRNNNTTT!"
"RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRNNNNKKKK!"
As the four of them stared up into the sky in amazement, three other forms emerged from the mountain cavern and ran past them towards the Dark One. They turned their attention to the Dark One and saw three more of their comrades: Varan, Manda and Ceaser! Varan was an orange colored monitor lizard-like Kaiju with razor sharp quills running down his head to his tail which resembled a rattlesnake rattler with spikes jutting out of it. Manda looked like she was ripped straight out of East Asian mythology, resembling a chinse dragon with aquatic features. Caesar's appearance was that of a mythological Komainu/Shisa with terracotta-like skin!
Varan whipped his tail towards the Dark One, unleashing a flurry of razor-sharp quills at while Caesar unleashed his solar powered Heat Beams from his eyes as Manda fired a jet of highly pressurized water from her mouth. The quills deeply stabbed into The Dark One and corroded it's hide as the beams and water jet blew off a chunk of its body.
Then, the ground in front of it suddenly exploded as two Kaiju emerged from the earth! Baragon, a red colored Kaiju with massive claws, huge ears, and a single horn protruding from his head and Zilla, a velociraptor-like Kaiju with curved dorsal spines and a whip-like tail! The two of them breathed gouts of red and green colored flame that bathed the area in front of the Dark One in a sea of flames and setting the abomination itself ablaze!
As the Dark One tried to shake the fire off of itself, a bipedal turtle with tusks and a giant gorilla leapt forth from the flames, their fists wreathed and crackling with fire and lightning! Gamera and Kong punched the Dark One so hard that it shattered most of its body and hit the core! The force of the dual haymakers sent the Dark One flying towards what was left of Mt. Futago like a bullet while covered in flames and electricity!
THWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The entire mountainside collapsed upon the Dark One, burying it underneath tons of rock!
NERV-CENTRAL DOGMA COMMAND CENTER
Words failed them. There were literally no words to be said for what everyone was witnessing.
Gendo could steadily feel his anger and frustration beginning to boil over.
TOKYO-3
Godzilla was absolutely dumbstruck. He thought he would never see the rest of his comrades ever again. The other Kaiju went up to, visibly relieved that he was okay. Mothra let out heartfelt chirps as Kong happily beat his chest while hooting and panting. Gamera, Zilla, Baragon, Varan, Manda and Caesar expressed their relief while Ghidorah on the other hand, not exactly sharing everyone's enthusiasm, made a noise akin to a scoff.
Godzilla asked where they all came from and Gamera was more than happy to inform him of probably the best thing he had heard in a while: The Shobijin had repaired the gateway to The Lost Land! Godzilla was absolutely overjoyed! He could finally revisit his home after so long and the rest of his comrades could join the fight! They now finally had gained the upper hand against the Dark Ones.
But then Kong informed him that it wouldn't just be his generation that would be fighting. He, Gamera and the others had been training the newest generation of Kaiju for 15 years after The Great Cataclysm and the destruction of the gateway. They were ready and committed to the cause.
VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM
A giant column of light erupted from the mountain where the Angel crashed into! Sensing the threatening aura that emanated from it, the Kaiju got into combat positions and prepared for a long battle. But none of them were worried for they now had strength and numbers on their side. Godzilla steeled himself alongside his old friends. This time, he would not fail again.
The light dissipated and mass of large tentacles covered in crystalline outcroppings blossomed into an emaciated torso with four lanky and powerful looking arms ending in hooked talons. Massive dragonfly-like wings sprouted from its back though it was doubtful that it could carry its bulk. It had grown two elongated, dragonish heads adorned with twisting horns and eyeless, skeletal faces with gnarled reptilian teeth. Standing at 375 meters tall, Ramiel cast his murderous, hate filled gaze towards the congregation of revolting vermin. He was going to make them all die in the absolute worst way imaginable.
"HHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
None of the Kaiju were unnerved by its hollow, nightmarish wail and Godzilla, Gamera and Kong unleashed their roars to the challenge!
"SSSSSSKKKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKK!"

The other Kaiju let out their own roars too, ready for battle!
The Dark One surged towards them, using its multitude of tentacles and its massive arms to drag itself as it radiated hatred and malice! The Kaiju charged, some of the winged variants taking flight! They bulldozed through what was left of the city as the Dark One drew nearer!
Godzilla charged up his Atomic Breath.
Gamera's shell opened up to reveal two organic jet boosters that rocketed him straight at the Dark One.
Kong scaled an intact building and jumped off it towards the Dark One, his fists covered in electricity.
Time seemed to slow down to a crawl as the combatants were seconds away from clashing, signaling the beginning of the 2nd Kaiju/Dark One War.
Nothing would ever be the same.

Folks, I can't tell you how long I've waited to do this chapter. You can only imagine how happy I am that I got this out as it has been on my mind for a while when I first started this story. And now it feels more uplifting since I've released it on the 20th chapter. Thanks for sticking around all this time, you guys. I hope the wait was well worth it. Before I make an important announcement, here are some important notes.
-The part where Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan and Gorosaurus charged was directly inspired by Matt Frank's art piece titled, "Kaiju Team EAT YO FACE". The ending scene where the Kaiju and Evolved Ramiel charge at each other was inspired by that last bit in the 2nd King of the Monsters trailer. You know what I mean!
-Ramiel's forced evolution was based on Seath the Scale less from Dark Souls. Albeit he now has way more tentacles, has two heads, four powerful arms and generally way stronger than his videogame counterpart. He was originally going to be a scarier version of the Ice Titan from Disney's Hercules but I felt that would be too silly.
-Ramiel will be the first of the "Richter Scale Event" Dark Ones due to their sheer power and size, usually requiring a bunch of Kaiju to defeat (Roughly fifteen). This battle will most likely be a 4 to 5 part battle.
-Kaiju from the movies, videogames and others works represent the very 1stGeneration and are all in their early 60's. Kaiju strictly from the Monster Hunter games are the 2nd Generation and they're roughly in their mid-20's.
-The reason why I chose the Monster Hunter monsters is because they look right at home in a monster movie. Also, when I played the games, I felt really bad for killing them as I was mesmerized by their designs and grew to care for them and eventually stopped playing the games because it hurt me emotionally to slay them. The monsters from God Eater and Toukiden deserve all the death in the world. Those things are f***ing horrifying and need fire. LOTS of fire.
-There will be no subspecies of Monster Hunter Monsters.
-All of the Kaiju in this fic are not the last of their kind. They are living, breathing avatars of Mother Nature and the wrath of God himself. Their massive size, powers beyond imagination, intelligence, healing factor, and unlimited lifespan makes them appear as gods. In the event that they actually die (which is unbelievably rare since Nemesis is the only recorded case) their soul will seek out a human host to inhabit and that host will have the ability to transform into a Kaiju. Kinda like the Maiden powers in RWBY.
-When I say unlimited life span, I mean they age, but they will never die of old age.
-Kaiju communicates to each other in their own language, though to us it would only sound like animal noises.
-Gamera and Kong serve as Godzilla's Generals, friends and 2nd in command.
-I will address the most controversial choice I made: making Ghidorah the good guy. There is a very good reason or this and let me explain. Ghidorah makes a fantastic villain and I always loved his role as one. GMK was an amazing change of pace for his character and I remembered being completely gob smacked when he fought alongside Mothra. Also, I wanted to avoid any similarities Hail to the King so that's why I made him a good guy. I made his personality similar to that of Dinobot from Beast Wars. He's rude, confrontational and thinks he should've been King instead of Godzilla. But beyond all of that, he still adheres to his sacred duty as a guardian of Earth and The Lost Land.
-How are Kaiju born? It basically follows the weird ass logic from the older Godzilla films. A random egg just so happens to be sitting out in the middle of nowhere and then boom, a baby Kaiju is born! Sometimes an egg will appear in The Lost Land and when a new Kaiju is born, a veteran Kaiju will seek it out and educate it in preserving the circle of life in The Lost Land and training it on how to harness it's powers and fight. The Kaiju, Iwi and even The Shobijin don't know how the Eggs themselves appear.
-The 1st Generation Kaiju that were born before the 2nd Generation had to train and fend for themselves.
-The Kaiju are protectors of The Lost Land and the Earth, but God help you if you intentionally harm them or purposefully get in their way.
Noe for the important announcement: I am once again going on break to work on other stories. It will be a while before I come back to this but don't let that distress you! Think of this as a way to think up the fight scenes! Here's to another amazing year of Kaiju Warfare!

I did give him alchemical abilities similar to Scar from FMA; he now as the ability to deconstruct matter or reform it into something else. Full credit goes to Kukri33 for the suggestion. I chose his Rulers of Earth version because it had him tearing apart Trilopods like a Kaiju sized Brock Samson! He will also be a flesh and blood Kaiju as opposed to his animated statue in the movie.

Notes: Seeing as how our favorite terrapin got monumentally shafted in 2016, I would only figure that using his 2016 look would do him proper justice. I had to bring him more down to earth so most of his more fantastical powers have been omitted, meaning that he can't turn into a flying saucer. But he can fly a short distance using the organic jet boosters hidden underneath the flaps of his shell, kinda like what he got a glimpse of in the 2016 trailer.
KONG

Note: I love playing homage to his Showa-era powers! Concerning his appearance, I know Godzilla vs King Kong hasn't been released yet but I'm currently imagining him with darker colored fur with a light shade of gray around his face, kind of like how Caesar looked like in War for the Planet of the Apes. Kong won't be using sign language because that would give away too much to whoever may interpret his signals.
