Sorry for making you guys wait. I was so invested in my Killing Bites/ Hulk crossover that I unintentionally put this on the backburner. But more chapters will be coming out so don't you guys worry. Also, Volume 7! Anyone else psyched?!

Review Time!

Dracus6: No intention of making that crossover.

Elusive Prey: Thanks. Fanfics are always meant to either deviate or improvise canon and I am capitalizing on that like crazy!

Mr. Green37: I can't give you an exact timeframe but it will happen.

Kill king: You want it? You got it!

Junior VB: Harsh but true words.

Pacman: Eh, I don't.

Guest #1: I didn't want to make their adventure too easy and yeah, I could see Ironwood doing just that.

Omnigawker: I'll try my hardest. I just want all the characters to get their time to shine.

Hyde: Thank you so much, it means a lot to me.

Guest #2 Haven't decided on what I want to do with the Brother Gods and I'm still thinking about whether or not I want to do that.

Stormmarine: Ruby and the others already now about the Confedearcy but what you said would be interesting to explore. I have always been interested in Magic vs Technology. You also bring up a very good point about Salem and Ozpin but keep in mind that she can't be killed and he can reincarnate into another body.

Evolution-500: I'm glad that you like my story and I'm sorry that I kept you waiting. And to answer your question, the DNA Bomb will play an integral part in this story but that's all I'm saying.

Big Smoke: Still deciding on what I want to do about that and Adam only cares about himself.

Guest #3: Made the corrections.

Guest #4: Take it down a notch!

TRUE Honor: That sounds cool but I already have my plate full with stories. Sorry.

Guest #5: I've got some ideas in the works for that…

Guest #6: Yeah, I gave him a break in this story.

Gamerjay: Great to see you review my story and Bulletstorm is a shit ton of fun!

Dungeon Wyrm: He won't be the only one suspicious of them.

Bulletstorm and RWBY belong to their respective owners. I do not own either of them.

Chapter 9

Twisted Metal

SECRET WHITE FANG BASE-HANGER

"OHMYGOSHICANTBELIVEYOUGUYSAREHEREHOWAREYOU?!" Ruby babbled as she instantly zipped up to Emerald.

"Uh…fine?" Emerald uncomfortably answered, reminded of how much of a pain this kid was.

"Man, talk about a small world." Yang said happily as she, the rest of RWBY and Team JNPR walked over. "What're you guys doing here?"

"Well, we were interested in that giant spaceship and word around the grapevine says you guys went over to investigate. So we were thinking we'd knock out two birds with one stone." Mercury explained. "You guys could need some extra help."

"Aww, what a gentleman!" Yang teased. "Think you can keep up with me?"

Mercury folded his arms and smiled. "I know I can."

"So you're Emerald?" Jaune inquired. "Ruby's told us a lot about you guys. I'm-"

"Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR." Emerald finished slyly. "Ruby's already told me much about you." That was a lie. She had already known about him and the rest of his team when Cinder uploaded the virus into the CCT, giving them full access to Beacon's student database. The most intriguing bit about Jaune was his obviously faked transcripts that Headmaster Ozpin and the rest of the academy seemingly hadn't noticed yet. It was almost similar to how Lionheart got Cinder, Mercury and herself into Haven Academy and then later into Beacon as transfer Students.

"Oh…okay." Jaune replied, as his face flushed with embarrassment.

"So you're Ruby's secret besties? Awesome!" Nora squealed. "We got ourselves a full house and there ain't nothing that's gonna stop this train! Is the rest of your team with ya?"

"Nah. Our other two members are back at Vale. They volunteered to hold down the fort while we came here to help you out." Mercury said.

"So you just acted on your own without any input from anyone at Beacon?" Weiss sternly asked them.

"Well…."Mercury trailed off.

"You guys can talk about playin' hooky in your free time." Grayson interrupted as he walked over to the two. "As far as I'm concerned, any friend of Ruby is a friend of mine." He extended a hand. "Name's Grayson Hunt."

Emerald looked at the man before her with uncertainty. Though she quite couldn't put her finger on it, this guy looked somewhat…out of place. He didn't look like to be any part of the Vale military or any other Kingdom military for that matter.

He could've been a Huntsman for all she knew but there was still something about this guy that made Emerald feel unsure about. But she had to keep up appearances and there was the possibility that he could be useful on this little excursion so she shook his hand.

"Emerald Sustrai." She greeted. "This is my partner, Mercury Black."

"Sup."

Grayson smirked and looked to Ruby. ""I'm tellin ya, you kids got the best names on this planet."

Emerald and Mercury blinked. What the heck did he mean by that? Ruby and the others gulped. How were they supposed to tell these two that humanity was on other worlds?

"Anywho, this is my friend, Ishi Sato."

"A pleasure to meet you." Ishi said.

"Pleasure's all our-holy nutballs! What the hell happened to you?!" Mercury jolted as he took a good look at the cyborg-like man. Emerald was just as shocked as he was; the man's appearance made him look like a walking corpse. Teams RWBY and JNPR cringed.

"I was in an accident." Ishi plainly answered, trying to ignore Mercury's insensitive comment.

"Do you need to go to a hospital?" Emerald asked. This man looked like he was going to keel over any second.

"No. In the short time I have been here, I have already calculated that your world's technological level is unable to alleviate my current condition." Ishi informed.

Mercury and Emerald stared at him for a few seconds until the kickboxer cleared his throat. "Um….what?"

"It's a…well…kind of a crazy story...Hehehe." Ruby laughed nervously.

"We'll catch you two up on the details later. What I need to know is if you two will be with us for the rest of this little 'trip'. I'm not gonna lie, you're gonna be learning some stuff that you won't believe. It's gonna blow your fucking minds. But you guys are buddy-buddy with Rubes over here so you're good in my book. So are you two in or out?" Grayson questioned.

Emerald wasn't sure what this man meant by 'learning mind blowing stuff' but it might've had something to do with the gigantic ship. She also had the sneaking suspicion that this man and his half-dead friend might have something to do with it. She still stood by her word that it wasn't an alien invasion but was still determined to find answers and get back to Cinder.

"Well, we're here already and there's no going back to Vale now. And besides, what are friends for?" She replied, looking at Ruby. She mentally vomited at that line. Ruby let out an overjoyed squee as she hugged herself.

"Welcome to the crew, Emmy!" Grayson congratulated heartily as he patted her back. "It's gonna be a rip roaring good time!"

As he and everyone else headed over to the large bulkhead door, Emerald stayed behind a little with Mercury. She was obviously miffed at being with these idiots and receiving an unfitting nickname from that oaf. Mercury strode up beside her with his trademark shit-eating grin.

"Ready for good time, Emmy?"

"Call me that again. I really want you to."

Ishi fiddled with the control console next to the bulkhead door and after a few seconds, it slowly opened up to reveal a ton of cargo crates near the edge of a balcony. Grayson motioned the others to keep their heads down as everyone slowly made their way to the crates as the sounds of heavy machinery became louder.

Ducking behind the crates and slowly peering over them, everyone was treated to the jaw-dropping sight of an extensive mining facility built into the cliff teeming with White Fang! Dozens of the terrorists were busy handling Dust vials, stolen military equipment and firearms while moving large crates no doubt filled with Dust. It became apparent to Team RWBY that the secret base the White Fang had beneath Mountain Glenn was only the tip of the iceberg.

"Damn. These guys do not fuck around." Grayson observed. Blake was becoming more distraught at the sight of yet another heavily armed forward operating base for the White Fang. Why were they amassing all of these weapons? What were they planning? Did…did Adam have something to do with this? Emerald and Mercury looked at each other in confusion. Adam never mentioned anything like this. Maybe he didn't want them to know.

"Those're Atlesian rifles!" Weiss pointed out, recognizing some of the weapons. "How did manage to get their hands on them?!"

"Do you think Roman Torchwick had anything to do with this?" Ren guessed, looking at Blake.

"Possibly." She surmised, cupping her chin.

Grayson let out a snicker. "Roman Torchwick? Who the hell names their kid that?! Man, his parents must've been assholes!"

"Has your Leash found the location of what we're looking for yet?" Ishi impatiently asked.

"Oh, right." Grayson responded as he tapped a button on his Leash, bringing up the waypoint. "Okay, the energy Power Crystal we're looking for is right…down…there!" The waypoint guided him to a large warehouse-like structure with a large, pneumatic drill beneath it.

"That's a deep core drilling terminal. It's powered solely by energy Dust." Weiss identified.

"That's where you'll get your recharge, Ishi." Grayson said to his friend.

"And then it's after that Sarrano guy?" Ruby asked Grayson.

"Yup." He confirmed as he pointed out into the distance. "The Ulysses crash site should be on the other side of that mountain." Just like he said, there was a large mountain range deep in the Emerald Forest with a large column of smoke, most likely coming from the Ulysses.

"Once we're done here we'll make our way over there." Grayson finished, feeling confident.

"You mean on foot?" Pyrrha inquired.

"Well…" Grayson scratched the back of his head. He wasn't really big on ideas at the moment.

"Gray, that entire forest is most likely teeming with Grimm. We wouldn't last a minute! And even if we did manage to fight our way through, the trip to the Ulysses alone could days. Weeks even." Pyrrha pointed out adamantly. "That's time I don't think the two of you have."

"She's right, Gray. "Blake agreed. "We need to find transportation."

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Nora piped up. "We can use the Bullheads tooooijustsuddenlyrealizedwescrappedthem."

"Looks like we'll have to find a ride down there." Grayson said as he looked down at the facility. "We might have to fight our way through a buttload of White Fang though."

"No worries. I like a challenge!" Yang assured him.

VVVVVVSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH

A loud noise began to emanate from below and a Bullhead suddenly popped up right in front of them! But this was a repurposed Atlesian transport outfitted with an autocannon and rocket pods! Everyone looked like a deer caught in the headlights as the White Fang member in the cockpit grinned maliciously. The autocannon underneath the cockpit activated and aimed straight at the group who readied their weapons.

Thinking quickly, Grayson threw out his leash towards the window of the cockpit which shattered on impact and lassoed itself around the waist of the zebra Faunus. With a tight pull, the terrorist was yanked out of the cockpit and sailed into a steel column within the hanger…crotch first. While the two teams visibly cringed, Mercury and Emerald were astounded by the capabilities of Grayson's "Leash". Was it some kind of Atlas prototype weapon?

Mercury was thoroughly impressed "Okay. That right there? That was awesome."

Grayson smiled proudly in response but saw that Blake was fiercely staring at him, obviously not happy.

"What? He's still alive, I didn't kill him!" Grayson professed as he pointed at the now curled up goon who was sobbing like a baby.

"But you did kill his chance of having any children." Ishi stated. Blake now looked at him. "Sorry." He apologized.

The unmanned transport began to lose control and spiraled down to the facility, the White Fang running out of the way to avoid it as it smashed into a large stockpile of Dust!

BAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM

An explosion of fire, ice, earth, electricity, and gravity enveloped half the facility; the sheer explosive force creating havoc and chaos! The gang looked down at the destruction and took note of the panicking White Fang running all over the place.

"Well, trying to sneak in is off the table. Looks like we're gonna have to do this the old fashioned way." Ruby declared with determination as she got out Crescent Rose. "There's gonna be a lot of them down there and we don't have to time to fight them all so let's blow through them as quick as we can!"

"We'll stick together when we get down there." Jaune advised as he unsheathed Crocea Mors. "That place is pretty big and easy to get lost in so stay close."

Nodding, everyone readied their weapons in preparation for the upcoming skirmish through the base. Grayson cracked his neck while Ishi adjusted the sights on his scope.

"Gonna get a little hairy from here on out. You up for this?" Grayson said to Ishi.

"I am not." He gruffly replied. "I am not up for any of this. We have no choice."

Grayson swallowed. He had forgotten that Ishi was in constant pain and the AI was trying to take control of his mind. No matter what it would take, he was getting Ishi to that rescue ship and getting him help. That is if he didn't end up murdering Sarrano himself. The group quickly exited the hanger and made a left around the corner where they followed the walkway to an elevator and stepped inside, one of them hitting the down button.

In the warehouse below, the White Fang tried their best to put out the flames or were dragging themselves out of the rubble. One of them went to the elevator to get help but the doors opened up to reveal a group of Huntsmen and Huntresses! The goon's mouth was agape.

"Whoops! Wrong floor!" The blonde joked as she sucker punched him halfway across the ground. Before any of the other could react, they were immediately besieged by the group and were either batted away or knocked out. One White Fang was quick enough to grab a weapon at fire at Blake, but he ended up shooting her shadow clone as she ran up and kicked him across the face.

Another White Fang grabbed an RPG but a black aura surrounded the weapon and it flew out of his hands and into the face of another terrorist who just got up, knocking him out.. Then Ishi ran behind the one who just had the weapon and suplexed him into the floor. Getting up, Ishi nodded to Pyrrha who curtsied in return.

The doors to the warehouse opened and two insurgents rushed in with their weapons drawn but never got the chance to fire when Emerald unleashed her chain whips from her revolvers, Rapacity and Avarice. The blades stabbed into the weapons and yanked them right out of their hands just in time for Mercury to do a flying kick to one of them. The other pulled out his sidearm but Mercury spun around and blasted it to pieces with a well-placed shot from his greaves, Hermes. He then performed a sweeping kick which knocked the minion down and then followed up with a hook kick that rendered him unconscious.

"Chain sickle revolvers and gun shoes? This planet has everything!" Grayson giddily laughed as he and the others headed for the doors. The two of them were once again left confused.

"Why does he keep saying that planet stuff? Is he messing with us or something?" Emerald asked her partner in exasperation.

"Hell if I know. He's probably got a screw loose." Mercury dismissively shrugged.

The followed the rest of them out of the warehouse and to a large outdoor bridge where more White Fang where waiting for them, all armed to the teeth and hiding behind makeshift barricades. They opened fire and the group ducked behind some metallic crates for cover. The members with ranged weapons attempted to pop out from cover and fire back-

"Hostiles above us!" Ishi suddenly altered, pointing upwards to a large, elevated walkway to their right. To the shock of the inhabitants of Remnant, a congregation of Atlesian Knights pointed their rifles down at the group and a hail of energized bullets rained down upon them!

"You guys have fuckin' robots?!" Grayson shouted. "What else does Remnant have?!"

"You'd be surprised!" Pyrrha replied.

"No! This shouldn't even be possible!" Weiss gasped. "AK-103's are only programmed to follow orders by an Atlas official! Unless…" She looked up at the Knights and noticed their red tinted visors. But what really got her attention was the symbol of the White Fang spray-painted onto their chests. Her eyes widened. "They've been hacked!"

Grayson gritted his teeth as he and the others crouched low to avoid the laser blasts and the bullets which were chipping away at their cover. The best tactic would be to divide and conquer. Spotting a large crate filled with electric power crystals and noticing a nearby stockpile of ammunition near the shooters, Grayson formulated a plan.

"Ruby! We gotta split up! Me an' Ishi can handle the robots, you take care of these jackasses!"

"What happened to sticking together?!"

"We're sitting ducks here! If we don't move, we're fucked! Can you snipe that ammo dump near them?"

Ruby nodded and took aim with Crescent Rose while Grayson leashed the crate.

"NOW!"

Ruby fired at the stockpile with a fire Dust round and it instantly exploded, sending a bunch of White Fang flying with their Auras barely holding from the force of the blast. At the same time, Grayson used his Leash to fling the crate at the group of robots above them and the crate burst open, the massive surge of electricity shocking the robots till they exploded like shrapnel filled balloons!

Grayson and Ishi ran up the stairs to where the Knights were while the others charged towards the disoriented White Fang en masse. The ex-Confederates made it up the stairs and immediately saw more of the robots coming at them. Grayson smiled wickedly and overcharged Boneduster.

"C'MON, TRASHCANS! TAKE WHAT I GIVE YOU!"

(Crystal Method-Name of the Game, starts at 0:21)

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH

A cone of superheated, highly pressurized air erupted out of Boneduster at blasted straight through the metallic soldiers, the sheer heat literally reducing them into puddles of metal steel!

}SLAGGED{ 50sp x10

But that wasn't the end as more of them advanced towards the two with their rifles roaring to life.

"More soulless husks between us and our goal." Ishi growled as he dodged the lasers and aimed at one's head.

"Good to see your sense of humor coming back." Grayson commented in relief as he slapped a robot's head 180 degrees.

}PIMP-HAND{ 250sp

"I intended no humor." Ishi darkly corrected as he fired HeadHunter; the bullet drilling through the domes of 13 robots.

"You're killin' me, pal." Grayson lightly chuckled as he wielded Boneduster like a bat and knocked off the head of a robot, followed by reloading a blasting another group of them in half.

The pair now stood amongst a sea of destroyed bots; their limbs and other pieces scattered around them. Hearing the sounds of brawling behind them, Grayson and Ishi looked down the walkway and saw the kids engaging the White Fang. They were once again reminded of just how skilled these youngsters were. The way they fought, dodged and worked together was as fluid as water. It flowed. It was a spectacle to behold.

But then they noticed that they were strictly taking down the terrorists non-lethally. While they understood why and although they were keeping their oath, they began to wonder what would happen if they actually did end up killing in self-defense. They were too innocent minded; all of them. They shuddered to think if Ruby was the first one to-

The sound of loud banging from behind snapped them back to reality and they turned around to numerous shipping containers shaking as if something was inside them. The doors burst open and more robots came pouring forth from them!

"Oh, come the fuck on!" Grayson angrily complained.

Ishi overcharged Headhunter and aimed at one of the containers. "MURDER THEM IN THEIR HOLES!"

SKAPOW

The bullet embedded itself into one of the robot, then guided itself into a container along with the robot and it detonated! The explosion created a chain reaction that detonated the container, as well as several more, and destroyed the others while taking out a huge chunk of the mechanical horde.

"And you said you intended no humor! Murder holes! Comedy gold, my friend! Takes you back to the good old days, eh?" Grayson cackled as he swiftly kicked a robot in the groin with enough force to make its head pop off!

}NUT-BUSTER{ 1,000sp

Ishi rolled his eyes "Forgive my lack of nostalgia." He answered as he head-butted a bot and backfisted another's head off. Grayson ran past him and leashed a robot around its neck but instead of throwing it, he began to swing it around and around until he became a spinning murder top! Grayson guided himself into the robot army and began knocking them aside with their own comrade as he spun! Every robot he hit was sent plummeting into the deep chasm the base was precariously constructed over.

Grayson then deactivated his leash and sent the robot slamming into his buddies and into the cliff wall where they shattered into pieces.

"You seem to be becoming more 'creative' with your Leash." Ishi observed.

"You're tellin' me! This is good stuff here!" Grayson said excitedly as he looked it over. An evil smile stretched across his face. "It's a nice warm up for what I'm gonna do when I get my hands on that Final Echo dame."

"Final Echo were merely our replacements, Gray. More of Sarrano's mindless tools." Ishi reminded him. "Your rage is misdirected."

Grayson stopped smiling and looked down at his feet. Sarrano was the cause of all the suffering and pain in the galaxy not this Trishka woman. But in Grayson's eyes, anyone who worked for the Confederacy was just as evil as Sarrano. Although there were times when he found himself questioned his stance on that subject. Did she willingly join or was she forced?

He suddenly found himself ducking out of the way of laser blasts from another horde of robots came from around the end of the walkway. The duo ducked near a ruined container as the robots approached closer.

"Christ, there's no fuckin end to these things!" Grayson cursed as he reloaded Boneduster.

"On three?" Ishi inquired as he readied HeadHunter.

"Yeah. One…two-"

Grayson never got to three when a blur suddenly shot up into the sky from below next to the walkway. They looked up to see what it was but the bright sun blinded them as the object came down upon the robots like a meteor!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM

A fiery explosion decimated the horde instantaneously in a blaze of destruction! Grayson and Ishi peered out from behind cover and slowly approached the smoke cloud, all while dismembered robot parts rained from above. The smoke began to clear up and revealed to them the blonde brawler herself, Yang!

"Wassup, guys?" She waved to them with a cheery grin.

"Yang?!" Grayson blinked. "Holy shit, girl! You really saved our asses."

"It was no problem. I guess you can say that I…got the drop on them!"

Ishi shook his head while Grayson looked like he ate a lemon. "Seriously?"

"Oh, hush up. That was funny."

"What's the current status of your team and the others?" Ishi inquired.

"They're doing just fine." Yang debriefed. "We clobbered a bunch of Fang and that's when we noticed a Knight parts raining down on us and we figured it was you two. Ruby was starting to get a little worried so she asked me to check up on you guys. Ain't she the sweetest?"

"Didn't think we mattered that much to her." Grayson remarked, earning a surprised look from Yang.

"Hey, don't talk like that! We're all trying to help you and Ishi get off Remnant. Try to have a little faith in us." Yang chided, sounding sincere and resolute.

"R-right. Sorry about that." Grayson apologized. Honestly, it was incredibly rare for someone to actually show concern for someone like him and his friend. But this made him feel all the more uncomfortable if she and the others ever found out the truth.

"More hostiles approaching." Ishi announced. The sound of metallic footsteps could be heard up ahead.

"You ready to do this, boys?" Yang grinned as he cracked her knuckles, Ember Cecilia arming itself as she did.

"So long as you save some for us." Grayson boastfully replied.

They ran across the walkway and turned right to a large area with multiple shipping containers the Knights were pouring out of. Yang used her gauntlets to propel herself towards them and unleashed a barrage of explosive punches that nearly wiped them all out.

"Hey! I said leave some for us!" Grayson called after her.

"Early bird gets the worm!" Yang teased as she continued to pummel her way through the automatons. Grayson and Ishi followed behind her, Grayson mopped up the stragglers while Ishi sniped any Knight that tried to shoot Yang. Grayson caught up with her just as she had finished taking out a majority of the Knights which left Grayson with the few remaining.

Grayson kicked a chunk of debris towards an approaching Knight, tripping it and then punted its head off when it fell down.

}KICKOFF{ 250sp

"Have a nice trip!" Yang quipped.

Another Knight tried to hit Grayson with the butt of his rifle but he grabbed it and tossed it and the Knight right off the edge of the walkway and into the deep chasm.

}VERTIGO{ 50sp

"See you next fall!"

Grayson ran towards another Knight and viscously punched its head off before it had a chance to fire!

}FALCON PUNCH{ 750sp

"Least he had a good head on his shoulders!"

There was one last Knight remaining that fired at Grayson but he dodged to the right, leashed the weapon out of its hands, grabbed a piece of rebar, ran over and swung the rebar down upon it's dome hard enough to cleave the robot in two!

}DOWN THE MIDDLE{ 500sp

"Now that's what I call a splitting headache!"

Grayson finally snapped. "Yang, I swear to crap, if you say one more friggin' pun I'm gonna shave every last lock of hair off of yer head!" He turned around to join up with Ishi but then felt a fist grab him by the scruff of his vest and forcefully pull him down to Yang's level.

Grayson's anger gave way to near-pants shitting terror when he saw that her hair was literally aflame and her once violet-colored eyes were fucking red! "You wanna run that by me again?" Yang dangerously threatened in a low, murderous tone.

Grayson's eyes were bulging out of his head and slowly looked over to Ishi. His friend had the exact same expression of fear and he was frantically shaking his head as if to tell him not to provoke her any further. Grayson looked back at Yang who was still waiting for an answer. He began to sweat profusely.

"Uh…did I say that? No! Y-y-your hair is amazing, babe! Wouldn't dream of messing it up!" Grayson hastily complimented, praying that he wouldn't get his face caved in.

Yang hair and eyes instantly stopped being borderline demonic and was replaced with a friendly smile as she let him go and patted his shoulder. "Oh, that's great to hear! Good to see we're still buds; I knew you wouldn't do anything to my hairdo!"

Grayson could only manage a shaky nod.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A loud explosion caught their attention and saw a nearby warehouse's roof explode with plumes of pink smoke erupting from the windows.

"Say, don't one of you guys have grenades that do that?" Grayson raised an eyebrow.

Yang sighed. "Nora. Come on, let get back to the others." She said as he ran ahead of them. Ishi and Grayson looked at each other, still frightened from earlier.

"I pity the guy who pressures her into prom sex." Grayson whispered to his friend. They followed Yang down some stairs that led to the warehouse just in time to see everyone stumble out of the smoke, coughing up a storm.

"You guys okay?" Yang asked.

"We're fine. Nora got carried away." Ren answered as he waved some of the pink smoke out of his face.

"My bad!" She chirped innocently.

The pink smoke began to dissipate and revealed a whole warehouse filled with destroyed Knights in all manner of physical trauma strewn all over the place. Grayson and Ishi were quite impressed.

"Damn, you went to town on these things!" Grayson whistled.

"Well they were robots so it's no big deal. But you guys were so cool up there! Those Knights didn't stand a chance!" Ruby exclaimed, remembering seeing parts of the robots raining down from above.

Ishi regarded Weiss. "You said earlier that these machines were hacked?"

Weiss swallowed and looked at the remains of the Knights. "Yes. The White Fang must've procured a stolen shipment of them from Torchwick and then hacked into each Knight's processors to followed orders. But it takes hours just to hack one of them!"

"Maybe they just had a lot of time on their hands?" Jaune suggested.

Emerald and Mercury worriedly looked at each other. These kids were smarter then they let on. Yes, the White Fang did in fact buy several storage containers worth of inactive AK-103's from Roman and they were able to hack them. The only problem was, like the heiress had just pointed out, it took a very long time to bypass all of the firewalls and reprogram them to obey someone other than an official from Atlas.

Cinder was patient, but not that patient. Hence why she had an "associate" of hers create a virus that would easily allow her to hack any robotic entity instantaneously; she had her eyes on Ironwood's Knights and Paladins for quite some time now. These already hacked Knights were mostly likely used for backup when Cinder gave the word for Adam and the rest of the White Fang to attack Beacon. But now that was moot, seeing as how he never told them about this base and he had turned against them.

"Oh, we found some shotguns shells loaded with fire Dust that you can use, Gray." Jaune said as he went back into the warehouse and came back with a small ammo box that held eighteen shells. Gray inspected them and smiled mischievously when he saw the fire symbol on each of them.

"Ha! Gonna have me some fun with this." He chuckled as he dispensed the shells into the bandolier around his belt.

"We also found something for you too, Ishi." Pyrrha took out three sniper rifle clips from her backpack, each containing six high powered rounds. "Those are infused with ice Dust. Hopefully you might be able find some use out of them."

Ishi took the bullets out of the clips and looked them over. In the short time he had been on Remnant, he had taken a heavy interest in Dust weaponry and had now been given the opportunity to try them out. Removing the drum mag from Headhunter, Ishi took out several bullets and began to insert the ice Dust rounds within the empty spaces. They easily fit into the mag to Ishi's relief.

"This will do quite nicely." He commented, while smiling a little.

"We should be getting close to the drilling terminal." Ren announced as he reloaded StormFlower and turned to Grayson. "How much farther do we have?"

Grayson checked his Leash. "Not much. Once we snag that energy Power Crystal we'll find a ride that can get us to the crash site."

"Why do you keep calling them 'Power Crystals'? It's called Dust, you know." Mercury told Grayson, trying to find out the reason to his apparent lunacy.

"It's easier for him." Blake answered Mercury.

"And it is!" Grayson proclaimed, twirling his index finger.

Emerald pulled Ruby aside and whispered, "Ruby who are these guys? They don't look like Huntsmen… let alone act like one."

Ruby still didn't have a proper way to tell Emerald that Grayson and Ishi were from another planet. Chances are she probably wouldn't believe them. Ruby really did want to tell her and Mercury everything they knew but they were waist deep in enemy territory so it would have to come later.

"As soon as we help Ishi and get out of here we'll tell you everything." Ruby assured her. "It may seem hard to believe but it is real. And awesome! Okay, maybe not all of it is awesome; it's pretty grim in a lot places but you know what I mean."

Emerald had no idea what she meant. Why couldn't this little brat just tell her already? It would've made this situation somewhat more bearable.

"Let's get a move on, everybody! It won't be long before reinforcements come crawlin' up our collective asses!" Grayson called out to them as he started on ahead.

"Can I just take a quick breather?" Nora asked him and she and the others caught up. "I'm feeling a little winded after going blast happy back there."

Grayson's replay was to shove the fire Power Crystal shells into Boneduster with an excited leer. "No use tryin' to put the brakes on this, it's going down!"

To be continued…

Hope I made up for the long wait with this action packed chapter!

I had a lot of fun making up all of the creative Skillshots and the ludicrous ways Grayson and Ishi dispatch their enemies. And of course, I had to get Yang and her ridiculous puns in on the action. The sense where she gets mad at Grayson is a reference to Brock Samson's "Take it from me" scene from Venture Bros. And of course, I gave the two of them Dust ammunition since they're on Remnant. They might as well use it!

I'm already starting work on the next chapter, this one will have Penny join the crew!

Don't forget to review but please don't flame.
