(raven POV)
I teleported to qrows location which was on top of a tree a few miles from Ruby's location as he had his eyes closed and relaxing on it without a care in the world
"huh why are you here" he asked without opening his eyes as he yawned
"that child is she truly Summer and Tais daughter"
"yes"
"but Summer had zero love for Tai and if I know her she would never sleep with anyone she had no love for so" I said as he just sighed
"true she would never do such a thing and the only reason she moved in with Tai was be
because you decided to abandon your only child for people who throw us away as if we were trash" he said calmly even if he was angry he was able to control himself
"I had no choice in the matter she was weak and mother and father had seen it fit to do so as it was a test to make us stronger" I said proudly but there was a slight ache in my heart
"haha you still believe that, no those monsters had no love for us, they would torture us if we weren't able to reach there impossible high standards" he said as he stretched he's body
"like you are doing with the child" I said with a smile
"please I know ruby's limits and I know what motivates her to be stronger" he said as he opened his eyes to look at me "this is nothing to her"
"what do you mean nothing for her you throw a 11 year old child into one of the most dangerous forests in Vale"
"I mean unlike our shitty parents I've trained her to the point that she can walk out of the forest without even getting notice by the grim or bandits oh you may want to tell your family to not attack her as she will kill them" he said laughing a little
"there your family to qrow they raised us and they would gladly accept you back" I said as he laughed almost falling off
"hahaha I thought I had severed all ties with them I mean I did kill most of them and your beloved mother and father or did you forget" he said as he didn't even look at me as a memory of that night come back to me as rage took over as unsheathe my blade as I aimed for his head
clink*as he blocked my blade with his own
"so it was you, you killed mother and father" I said as I tried to push forward
"yes and you know exactly why I did so you where there weren't you. You remember what they said right that weakness was not allowed in our family and while you agreed I didn't and chose to leave, but leave was not allowed and to set an example they took my heart so I took there lives, so I'll say this once and only once raven if you even dare to touch a hair on rubys head I will kill you and I don't care if you have the maidens power" he said as he pushed my blade away and aimed his at my neck
"how did you" I asked confused on how he knew about that 'I've told no one about that how does he'
"I'm not an idiot I saw you reaction to ruby's power and I know for a fact that only grim and people that have some sort of magic power can see it and because of the why you acted when ruby killed those Ursas after that I had all the information I needed" he said as he took a sip from his flask and went back to relaxing on the tree 'I see so he know about me well there goes my ace in the hole when I need to fight him... Wait his heart... Wasn't that...'
"your heart?"
"huh" he said not even opening his eyes
"it was summer wasn't it" I said as I connected all the dots 'it all makes sense now even the time we still a team qrow and summer always looked at each other with those eyes Tai gave me and they behavior alwayed changed when they we're with each'
"..." he kept quiet as he opened his eyes and looked at me
"and if that's true than that means that Ruby is your child not Tais yours, no wonder you care for her so much"
creak*as the branch we were standing on broke as we fall to the ground but i land safely as qrow had stabbed his sword into the trees the second we heard the creak
"true ruby is my child and I'm pretty sure she knows that Tai is not" he said as he had a smile on his face as he drank
"huh and you call me the worst parent but your just the same as me" I said as he spat everything out
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHABABAHAHHAHAHAHA" as he fall from his sword "did you just say that we were the same with a straight face!" he said as he look at me

"hahaha good joke raven" he said as stood up and punched the tree as his sword fall on his hand and he placed it back into his back
"I wasn't joke" I said 'fucking idiot'
"wait your serious" he said as I nodded "I see so your stay with your band of idiots has also made you dumbass I feel so sorry for you sis" he said with a fake tear 'I'm going to kill him, I'm going to kill him' I said as I took out my sword but it jammed halfway
"huh it's been a while since my semblance affected someone else" he whispered as he looked at me "but to be honest sis what's my semblance" he said 'I see you point' I thought as I understood his reasoning behind not seeing or even getting close to his daughter
"I understand that but why are you so close to her if your semblance will just end up hurting her"
"well that the thing, it doesn't, I discovered a months after her like change that my semblance doesn't work her unless I actually try but even if I did her awareness is extremely high and her speed puts her on her own level as you have seen" he said as I could understand what he was talking about 'the child is very fast for somebody her age what am I talking about she's fast for hunters and huntress' I thought as I sighed as I'm pretty sure she could run circles around me and I would not be able to do anything about it
"does she know that you are her father"
"I have no idea but she is a very smart girl I'm sure she will figure it out soon or later I'll just say it was a test if she figures it out hahaha" he said as he laughed and turned into a bird and flew to another tree branch as I followed him as I transformed back
"what are these test that you two have been talking about anyways"
"oh the test to be honest its for her to get familiar with her abilities to be honest and to give a taste of the life of a huntress"
"really what if she is kill by grim or a bandit have you thought about that"
"yes I have and unless she fight someone like us she's good and ruby is what I like to call the grimms natural predator as you have already seen" he said proudly
"true she did kill a pack of Ursas like they were nothing and before that they seemed scared when she activated her power was that her" I said thinking back

"so what's the point if she has all this power what's the point of any of this couldn't she just scare off any grim that comes close to her and fight anyone weaker then us what's the point!" I asked in confusion 'why would she do any of this what's her drive'
"I told you already didn't I, it's mainly to test herself and learn how to hold back and she most probably stop using her powers the moment you left"
"why would she do that?"
"she see it as her test and no one else's"
"that why she constantly on my ass about leaving"
"yes and if you where someone else she wouldn't have asked a second time"

"there would been no point to it she knows that you're stronger than her and fighting you would have been a losing battle, so unnecessary waste of energy and ignoring you was the best option for her" he said as my eyebrow twitched but I calmed down
"I see so what are you going to do now" I said as I see the sun setting
"nothing I'm going to wait for her to leave this part of the forest" he said
"huh she's been in there for a while now shouldn't you go check if she's fine" I said as he looked up with a thoughtful face holding his chin up
"huh your right" he said as he got up "hy raven what was in that ship"
"some dead soldiers and weapons but nothing else" I said as he sat back down
"oh... don't worry about her she's probably making a weapon of mass destruction or something like that" he said as if that was an everyday thing for him
"are you sure it's okay to leave her with all those weapons"
"probably not but that not our problem just the person she aims at but anyways" he said

"why are you still here don't you have a group of idiots to lead or something else instead of stalking a kid" he said looking at me as if I was some kind of stalker
"huh you know what I don't even care anymore and the group of idiots you are talking about are my people and I would like for you to treat them with respect" I said as I see him picking his ears

"no I didn't say anything, nothing at all" I said as I calmed myself down "but they know that I'll be out for a while as I want to scout out the ships that crashed a week ago but I unfortunately found a girl that dropped from the sky as she went on to find the thing I spent a week looking for in less than a hour"
"yeah don't feel bad about it her eyes are just random bullshit it's best to just not ask about them"
"okay anyway are you going to sleep here all night"

(Mc POV)
I got up in the morning as I usually do as I want to the and want to the work station I used to make my new baby's Sever and Domination as I want to get one of the bags as I grabbed a few cores and food as I left the ship
"wait I can't let some idiot get there hands on any military grade weapons" after that I made the ships into bomb and left 'okay from were I dropped and the director the ship was came from Vale should be a few km that way and it should take me a few days' I thought as I began moving but after a while I felt eyes on me as I looked at the direction I saw a raven a few trees behind me as I draw Sever and fired as the blast went through a few trees as it hit just above the raven
"tch I missed I knew I should have at least practiced using these and the kick Sever has is a lot almost broke my arm but know healing" I said as I turned to the bird "I know its you come out it really irritating having you stalk me" I said as raven came out of the bushs
"you know you could have killed me if you aimed a little lower" she said as she looked at me as I placed Sever back with Domination in there holster on my lower back
"huh don't blame me just because you suck at hiding at least uncle qrow made an effort while you just turned into a bird and stood on a tree...tch no stars for you" I said as I crossed my arms as her eye twitched a little
"so you know qrows here"
"yes his somewhere out of my range also can you leave and go back to what uncle qrow calls a band of idiots" I said as that got to her as her body shock with rage
"I'm going to ignore what you just said and no I'm not going anywhere and there is nothing you can do" she said with a lot of confidence 'I see so she spoke with qrow that fine I can still annoy you ass'
"huh I can still shoot you but that would turn into a full on fight so you can follow me but don't help or offer me any advice I don't want it or need it"

"now you know how I feel when I ask you to leave and you refuse too" I said as she was about to say something "like do you know how long I've been waiting for a solo mission and you decide to pop up and refuse to leave" I said to her a little pissed as I took out Domination aim it to my side fired about seven shots killing seven grimm what where coming to us 'Domination is better but she still a little off with the speed, but I've got time to fix it'
