''There you are miss.'' said Mary Palmer, Lily's future mother. She is also a liberty city nurse, so must run in the family. Certainly not the worst family tradition especially for a non criminal GTA character. ''Sure, thanks.'' Dash said dryly as the nurse bandages around Dash's stomach where she was shot by Francis, he thankfully just flesh wounded her. Dash drinks from a paper-bag covered whiskey bottle. ''Careful with that, your not really suppose to drink in here and m employer isn't as flexible.'' Mary warned. ''Yeah yeah.'' Dash groaned, drinking more. Mary just groans to herself. Suddenly Packie comes in, who was in the waiting room. And he gently hugs Dash.
''Anyway, pay at the front.'' Mary said. ''Sure sure, congrats on the baby.'' Packie replied, revealing they know each other.
''Thank you, just keep the music down at your house.'' Mary replied, as her house is just across from the McReary place. Unfortunately she later reveals to be less nice than she appears, giving she throws out Lily for coming out Lesbian with Kate Bellic. An action that greatly angers Kate's mother Mallory, who adores Lily. It's strongly implied Mallory and Mary got into a physical fight over it.
"Did something about her seem off?" Dash asked after Mary left the room and went to the washroom.
''Well she and Dean don't have a lot of friends, mostly cause their homophobic or something.'' Packie admitted. ''That poor baby than.'' Dash giggled, which became less funny in hindsight.
Suddenly Carly runs in and hugs Dash carefully. Dash just kinda pats her. ''Thanks for coming, I suppose.'' Dash said shyly.
Packie decides to head outside but he runs into Johnny and Jim who hung outside the hospital, not wanting to go in. ''Hey you, bikers, do you have any cocaine?" Packie asked, the dude got no chill. ''Your have to ask Billy.'' Jim said, not even further questioning it. Eventually Carly stumbles outside, just to tell the biker duo that she's gonna stay with Dash as they wait for her sister Sally.
''Alright we're handle the bent cops.'' Jim said.
''Can I come, I need some guy time?" Packie asked. ''Alright, long as you don't slow us down.'' Jim said. ''Oh don't worry, I can handle myself.'' Packie said proudly.
''Fine, but you need a bike, doesn't matter what kind, long as it's two wheels. That's the one rule.'' Jim said. ''Real good one.'' Johnny agreed.
''I have old Sanshez from college, still in good shape.'' Packie said.
''Hippy.'' Jim teased.
''It'll do, meet us tomorrow.'' Johnny said.
''Wait.. Take my dad, he doesn't get out much.'' Carly insisted.
''Your dad...'' Johnny said, as if asking her to confirm this, probably expecting some bolding house dad.
''Yeah, Michael Townley, maybe you heard of him.''
''Oh shit, you mean The Ludendorff Robber? I thought he died?'' Packie asked.
''Only on paper.'' Carly chuckled.
''Hell yeah, bring him in.'' Jim said.
''Alright, I'll let him borrow my bike, hope that old man he can handle it.'' Carly chuckled.
Michael is one of my favorite characters both in game and in story.. He's a bit more serious than in the game, but can still that snarky lovable asshole when he wants to be. Which he no doubt will be in the next chapter, as it's basically as close as they can get to their first guys night..
