Ruby and Jaune Walked into the abandoned village with Qrow in their makeshift stretcher. The eerie atmosphere of the old village creeped Ruby out. It felt so, empty. Like how she felt when she lost crescent rose that one time. She shuddered at the memory. Ruby Looked around. "Any of these places look like a pharmacy?" she asked jaune, who sighed "it's hard to tell." The two continued to walk further into the village. Ruby then looked back at jaune. 'Ren really didn't want to come here, did he..?' she asked, looking around the abandoned village. Jaune looked away. "Didn't seem so.." he replied. Ruby took a breath. "Do you know why?" Jaune sighed. "I think I have a pretty good idea." he said. The two walked for a moment in silence, before Jaune tapped ruby on the shoulder, she stopped and turned to look at her friend. "We should put Qrow down and look around for any left behind medical supplies, if not a pharmacy.." Ruby nodded. "Okay, but be quick! We don't have much time!" Jaune nodded and gently put Qrow down with ruby's help, Qrow groaned as he turned his head, still clutching his wound. Which had bleed through the bandages more.

A while later, ruby stood near the middle. She had found nothing. She felt so.. Defeated. She heard jaune come from behind her. He sighed. "Nothing." was all he said. Ruby looked back at the direction Qrow was. "We should get back to uncle qrow.." she said. Jaune nodded, and the two went over to where they had last set him down, they had moved him from the stretcher and propped him against the tree. Ruby kneels in front of her poisoned uncle. She felt tired. Jaune suddenly got into a combat stance, hand on his sword. He looked from side to side. Ruby truend to him. "It's far off, jaune.." Jaune nodded. "I know, but Ren and Nora are still out there.." ruby looked back at her uncle, before standing. She stumbled her way over to jaune. "I'm sorry.." she said. Jaune turned to her. "Huh?" was all that came from his lips. Ruby looked down at the ground. "It's all my fault, I should have never dragged you guys into this…" she said. Jaune settled his face. "You didn't drag us in, we wanted to come." he said reassuringly. Ruby clenched her hands into fists. "B-but you didn't know about tyrian, o-or-" Jaune then interrupted dher. "Ruby," he said. RUby stopped and looked at him. He looked back. "Ruby, we lost-" he trailed off, his mask breaking. "We lost pyrrha, you did too, a-and penny, and your team, and, in a way, your sister" Ruby looked away. "But you're Still here! Despite, everything you've lost, and everything you could lost, you chose to come out here, because you felt like you could make a difference." Ruby looked at him with misty eyes. He smiled at her. "You didn't drag us with you, you gave us the courage to follow." Ruby smiled back at him. "Thank you.." was all she said to him. Jaune huffed in amusement. "Of course.'' The two didn't know that they, much like Jeb, were being watched by a pesky zed in a tree. "How adorable.." he said to himself.

Nora and Ren walked up the trail, Nora talking a mile a minute. Ren sighed as he listened to his childhood best friend ramble. "Oh ren, what if qrow doesn't make it, or- or we die out here?!" Ren waved his hand. "Nora, Qrow will make it.." he looked forward. "He has to." he said quietly Nora stopped and looked at Ren's retreating figure continuing up the mountain. She sighed and ran up to remaining trip up the mountain was silent and a little awkward.

Once the two reached a plateau of the mountain, there was a slim path with a cave embedded into the wall of the cave. Ren looked out into nature, noticing the dark clouds rumble. Nora walked from behind him. "We never get the easy path, do we? " the quiet man said, Nora huffed. "Easys no fun.. Heh heh.." she looked out into the forest before looking at ren. "You okay..?" Ren looked back at her. "Yeah, you?" Nora lightly chuckled. "I got you here with me, didn't i?" hse jokes." nora started to walk forward. "C'mon! There's more that run way to climb a mountain!" she said as she walked down the slim path. Ren just continued to look out into the forest as thunder rumbled from the clouds. "Heay! There's wind blowing out of this cave over here!" rNora shouted, red turned to see her waving at him, but what was, indeed, a cave. Red power walked down the tiny part of land that led to the small opening of the cave. Ren stopped by nora. "Think it'll lead to the peak?" she asked him. Ren shrugged. "Only one way to f- mff!" a piece of paper had blown onto ren's face, nora giggled a bit at the situation. Ren pulled the paper from his face. "Yeah yeah, very funny." he said light heartedly. He looked down at the paper in his hands and went stiff. Nora's face went from a smile into a frown. "Hey, what's wrong?" Ren stayed silent. "This is the symbols village," Nora looked surprised. "S-shion village? The one where we found the huntsman? That one! It's weeks away from here! H-how did it get here!?" nora asked in a panicked state, ren looked back at the symbols, before dropping it and rushing into the small cave. Nora flinched back and looked at him with an arm reaching out to him. "Ren! W-wait!" she said, before shaking her head and following him in a panicked hurry.

Ren came to a stop as he looked over the area. Nora stopped with a skid behind him, she put her hands to her mouth as she gasped.'"oh my gosh.." The floor of the cave was littered with swords and arrows alike. Ren kneeled down and held up an all too familiar arrow design. He stared at it as images of his past flashed in his mind. Nora came up behind him and looked down at the strange liquid that was on the floor. Ren looked up at the exit of the small cave. The wind was getting wilder and stronger now, then the trees rustled and shook. Ren's eyes widened. "No.. " Nora reached out to him. "R-ren?" Ren suddenly stood and grabbed Nora's hand. "It's back, we have to move. NOW!" he shouted as he almost dragged Nora out of the cave, an all too familiar roar following them as they raced out of the cave and down the mountain.

Jeb stood as he guarded the crossroads, when he felt something, or someone rushing to him. He opened his eyes and brought out the binary blade from Hammer Space. He held up his old director's prized weapon as he saw.. Jebs' eyes widened. "Young Ren?! Young Valkyrie? What is happening?" Ren and Nora ran past him as red shouted to the savior. "Not time! Just run!" Jeb growled a bit at the vagueness, but quickly stopped as he heard a growl come from where Ren and Nora were heading. He sighed. "Son of a bitch.." Jebadiah rarely sweared, but he was concerned for the kids. He quickly ran after Ren and Nora, lab coat and hair blowing in the wind, as the keystone fragment glowed brighter. He ran into the village where Jaune and Ruby were. Jaune turned and went on guard, looking for threats, but that quickly became confused. "Ren? Nora? Mister christoff?" he asked "what's going on?!" Ren put his hands to his knees. "No, it's, it's back.." Nora froze as she shuddered. "What's back!?" Ruby cried. JEbadiah looked up, and his face hardened as he rested his blade and had his dual revolvers on standby in hammerspace. "Children! Look alive!" Jebadiah pointed his sword towards a new sort of grimm. The grimm itself was large, it's lower half was a horse with bone like armor, connected to it was a human like torso and arms, it's back was littered with arrows. Its head had horns that reared back, its face had bone marks on it. It's red sets of eyes looked at hem, as it moved like demented robot. It let it an ear piercing roar, making everyone aside jeb cover their ears. Ruby readied Crescent rose. "What IS that thing!?" she screamed. Jaune Grabbed Crocea Mors. "Whatever it is, we have to kill it!" Ren steadied himself and brought out Stormflower and switched the safety off. "Whatever it takes." he growled. Nora looked at Ren with concern, but brought out manghild and got into a combat stance.

The grimm looked at them, before roaring and charging at them Jaune steadied himself and struck its leg as it came close. The Grimm roared and kicked him. Jaune grunted as he flew into the air. "JAUNE" ruby cried. Jeadiah narrowed his eyes and power jumped into the air,and threw his sword at the Grimm, the blade spinning at the speed of sound, it cut through two of the grimms legs, before flying back into Jebediah's hand, who landed in a crouch. The Grimm stretched its arms out and slammed into jeb, sending the Nexian flying, but unlike jaune, the Savior hovered in the air, before slowly floating down. Ren ran circles around it, bargaining it with bullets from Stormflower. The Grimm screamed and did a wide sweep with its arms around itself, knocking Ren aside. Ruby jumped up and used the recoil from crescent rose to gain more space from the ground, she landed on a building and slammed the tip of the scythe into the roof to help with her aim, she looked down the scope and fired leftover Lightning rounds into the grimms head. The Nukeleave turned to her and once more used its stretchy arm to try and get her, but jaune cut the limb off with crocea mors, which earned him another kick. Nora rushed over to the beast and slammed Manghild into its rear, the Creature kicking her also. The remains of JNPR gathered together. "This isn't working." Jaune stated. Ren nodded, before noticing that the grimm had its eyes on Qrow. "Mister Christoff, can you hold it off, I have to save Qrow." The savior nodded and pulled out parts of a sniper rifle from his lab coat. "Be swift, we haven't got time." Ren nodded and holstered Stormflower. Before running over to qrow, and masking their signatures from the grimm. He grabbed the man, and hauled him over to safety out of sight for the grimm, his semblance wore off by then.

Jebadiah Shot his TAC-50 at the creature of sin. The beast turned its attention to him, but jebediah shot another nexus bolt, this time into its eyes. He looked over to see the Young rose still atop the building. He cupped a hand around his mouth. "Ruby! Retreat!" the youngest of the group nodded, jumping down, and using the recoil of crescent rose to delay her fall. Jebediah too jumped off, and floated down to safety, as the five regrouped. Jaune looked at the beast. "We gotta hold it down, we have to work together." Jeb nodded. "I will deal with the legs." he said as he raised the binary blade. Jaune Sheathed Crocea Mors, then lifted them both, the sheath expanded at the sides, forming a great sword. "Me and Ruby will take care of the arms." Ruby nodded. "Right!" Nora spun Manghild. "I got the body!" Ren once more brought stormflower from their holsters. "And I'll take care of everything else." Jeb rushed forward and cut the remaining Legs from the grimm, and Jeb gave a cut into the horse head. The Nukeleave reached out with its right arm, only from Crescent rose to nail it to the ground. Jeb smirked. "How fitting.." he muttered. The Grimm roared in rage, before using its left arm up, only for Juane to come down with crocea Mors, nailing the other limb into the ground. Still, the beast struggled, lifting its rear to try and break free, its head flailing wildly. Then, Nora came down and slammed Maghilds Handle into the grimm, nailing the rear into the ground. The beast was helpless as Ren came up to it. It roared in his face, the ninja glared back. Before raising the blades of Stormflower. "For my village…" he then cut off its left arm. He then raised his right arm, stormflower at the ready. "For my mother…" and brought it down, severing the Grimms last limb. Its neck flailed, trying to escape. Ren glared into the beast. "For ME-"

Then, a stop sign crashed into the Grimms head, pinning it as well into the ground, the sign had an exclamation mark on it. Ren flinched back. Everyone readied their weapons, except for Jebediah. "I know that sign.. It can't be..!" Then, a green figure slammed into the head of the Nuckelavee, its clawed hands reaching into the Grimms eyes and ripping them out, before tossing them aside. "Ohh, but it is, jebby!" standing atop the disintegrating grimm, stood alone green man, its hair was wild and puffy, it's face dawned with an iron mask, and through the left eye hole, a loen crazed red eye shone through. Jebadiah finally raised his weapon.
