12/31/21

This is the final chapter and has no aim and is just a bunch of drabble. But I needed to make this chapter because this chapter was made in to honor Betty White, who recently passed away. May she Rest In Peace.

... :: What could have been a chapter :: ...

In this strange situation, Jinx had come to person's house after she had just destroyed the Council Room Chambers in Piltover.

Zaun could not provide her sanctury. And there was nowhere in topside where she could hide.

Far from the city, the outskirts that went a little further inland and away from the bay, Jinx trekked all the way from where the old warehouse was to the area she was in now. It was still night. Well into the night where it would be a hours before daylight came.

Thinking about it, a turn of her head, Jinx could still see the faint flames and smoke that billowed in the distance. The decloration of war was still fresh for every topsider to feel. Though Jinx knew her 'father' would be proud, what should have been satisfication in her work, Jinx just felt tired now. She didn't know if the drug Shimmer was wearing away. It felt like it did. Her newly made cannon, Fishbones, was starting to feel heavy.

That was why Jinx was here in the outskirts far from Zaun and Piltover.

Where Jinx was, was right in front of a door of a person's house. Jinx took a deep breath and tapped her knuckles against the door.

She knew the person inside was awake, otherwise the lights would be on.

Now one would think, who could possibily be awake at this hour, and who could possibly not question or panic at someone who carried a cannon on her back? Well, to answer that question -

The door opened and there Jinx saw him.

He stared surprised, "Jinx?" he said lightly, confused and startled to find her standing at his doorstep.

"Hey" Jinx said quietly, giving a light wave of her hand.

"Hey" he said, smiling somewhat but still very much taken back.

There was a pause between the two, ackward and unsure what to make of the situation. But he slowly moved back and left the way open for her. Jinx mumbled a thank you before walking in, adjusting the weight of her cannon before walking in.

.
.

How they met wasn't important. Only that Jinx knew who Naruto was, and the past they shared with each other.

It wasn't just that though. Naruto was like her. He was... different... just like her. The difference between them though, was that he accepted it from the very beginning while it took Powder to accept that she was Jinx. Nothing more and nothing less.

He looked ordinary. He had short, cropped blonde hair and fair skin, and there were dark lines seen on each side of his cheeks. He looked every bit human, except for his eyes. The surrounding area that was usually white, was black with his irises being dark red in color and lacked pupils.

Where they took their conversation was in the kitchen area.

Jinx had her weapons against the wall, herself sitting on one of the chairs and slumped over it.

Naruto was in between two counters that divided to large space between the kitchen table and the kitchen area where he brought two bottles and two glass cups.

"So, Silco's dead. I'm sorry to hear that" Naruto poured her a drink, taking it to her before Jinx took the free cup and gulped it down.

"Me too."

"Is that why you're here? Because you don't got a place to stay?" Naruto asked.

"I honestly don't know why I'm here." Jinx said tiredly, "After what happened between me and my sister, how I wanted her to love even when I was... this... there was a moment when I thought about you."

"Me?"

Jinx then gave an unlady-like snort, laughing at her slip of her tongue. "Sorry, that was weird to say wasn't it."

"No. It's alright. I get it Jinx." Naruto smiled, walking up behind her and gently bringing up a hand and giving a firm squeeze of her shoulder. "I thought about you too plenty of times. It's okay, I don't care if you're different. Because I'm different too"

Jinx grabbed his hand on her shoulder, giving a squeeze and nodded.

This was Jinx and Powder's one and only comfort. One that hadn't been ruined or destroyed. Here, it was just Jinx and Naruto, two different people that stuck together nicely.

... :: What could have been a chapter :: ...

He sat across from Vi, using a large piece of rubble as a stool for him to sit.

He was a young man a few years behind Vi in age. His blonde hair was shaggy, almost gravity defying with the strange spikiness that seemed to fit him. He had tanned skin and dark lines seen on each side of his cheeks, but one of the most unique trait the young man had were his eyes. Dark red irises with black pupils, but the usual surrounding white layer wasn't white, it was pitch black.

Vi grunted at the strange black rope that was tied all around her, gripping tightly that even with her strength she couldn't break free.

"So, you're Violet. Jinx's older sister?"

"Jinx?"

The blonde's demonic looking eyes were half-lidded, but hearing her confused tone in her voice, the blonde understood.

"Right. You don't know she changed her name. Your sister, Powder, she goes by Jinx now"

Taken back clearly from how she looked at him, Violet shook her head in disbelief.

"Just who the hell are you? How do you know my sister"

The blonde gave a wicked grin, devilish. "Heheh... well let me weave you the tale of my origins. Though I must preface that it does drag on in places, so I'll try to minimize the filler. Now... our story begins as many stories often do: with a young girl shooting a little boy in the face.

Violet in her state had no choice but to hear what the blonde was saying, and the more he spoke, the more her eyes grew wide with disbelief and how crazy it sounded. Just what the fuck was going on!?

"And so, your sister tried to kill me because Silco saw me as a threat to his operations. He sent some of his thugs, which I killed, then he sent Jinx, and we both almost ended up killing each other until he called her off. One thing that Jinx and I share, is that we don't tie in anything. So we tried to kill each other again, and again, and again until we ended up blowing up a few of the Shimmer Factories across the Undercity.

And after everything, Silco just starts crying!"

"Wow, like a bitch!" Violet added with a smirkish grin.

"And that's what I said too, but sadly, we both know how Silco turns out in the end"

"My sister, got it. But quick question, what the hell does that have to involve your relationship with my sister?"

It's called world building, anyway, I wouldn't even call it a relationshop. When the buildings were burning and people were panicking in the streets, me and Jinx were just standing there looking at each other in the eyes from just how much we went out of our way to kill each other. She liked blowing shit up, and I could make bigger explosions. And one thing led to another until somehow, we both ended up screwing each other's brains out with her holding me at gun point and my knife along her neck"

"YOU SLEPT WITH MY LITTLE SISTER!"

"Well, if it's any consolation at least I didn't knock up your sister."

"I WILL CRUSH YOUR BALLS INTO DUST!"

...

This was the final conclusion of my "Stories that could have been." And this was to also honor the now passed Betty White. May she Rest in Peace.
