Bert's P.O.V
After a foolish attempt of trying to get Pikachu again. Which involved Jame's idea of using a pit trap. It was a good idea at first until we fell into it instead of tewrps getting caught. We were stuck in it almost night because someone forgot where the pit was.
Anyway, right now, we're currently heading towards a place called Mt. Moon.
"Why exactly are we heading to Mt. Moon? Aren't we supposed to be looking for the tewrps?" Meowth asked.
"Well, if the Pikachu tewrps is earning badges," James said. "Then he will have to go through here to get to the next gym."
"Correct, but that's not we're going here," Jessie said. "We're going there to find us some moonstones," she explained.
"Ah, you mean those stones said to help power up Pokemon?" James asked.
"Yes, those stones," Jessie replied.
"I don't think that it works," I started. "I believe that stone actually used to evolve certain Pokemon. Not to power them up," I explained.
"Either way, it could come in handy. If we a Pokemon that evolves using it," Jessie stated.
"Agree," Meowth and James said.
I sighed, having a feeling that this wasn't going to work out well, but who knows; maybe we get a new Pokemon to give father or at least a new team member.
"Well, let's get going then, Mt. Moon, just up ahead," I said, pointing up ahead at the cave.
"Excellent, let's go inside and get searching for Moonstones!" Jessie, Meowth, and James cheered.
'This three are too much. How did I get put with them? Seriously why didn't father add me to this team? Through guessing there not that bad to be around.' I thought as I followed them inside of the cave.
Thrid's person P.O.V
James, Jessie, and Meowth walked inside of Mt.Moon and noticed how dark it was inside of here.
"Man, it's pitched black in here," Meowth said.
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be? It's a cave," Bert said with an eyebrow raised, not surprised by the darkness.
"No worries, I came prepared," Jessie said, pulling out some lights that Bert didn't even realize were put inside of his bag.
'Where on earth did those come from?' Bert thought, not even knowing when she put those in there.
"When did you put those in my ba_" Bert trailed off as she and the others started hanging up the lights around the cave until pulling out tools to begin searching for Moonstones. "Nevermind."
Bert then grabbed one of the shovels started as well, not bothering to question when the lights got put inside of his bag.
'I doubt that this plan is going to work out well. So far, most of their ideas haven't worked out.' He thought, walking around the cave.
"That a cute-looking Pokemon," Jessie said.
Everyone stopped doing what they were doing to see what Jessie was talking about when they saw a pink Pokemon looking at them from behind a rock.
"A Clefairy," Bert muttered.
"That surprising Clefairy doesn't usually show their self around people," James said.
"That's true, Jimmy. Then again, we are in its home," Meowth stated.
"We should try catching it," Bert sated.
"Yeah, Bert, right. It's rare the boss would love to have one," Meowth said with a nod.
"No, I meant as a new addition to the team," Bert sated. "Father wants rare and powerful and this Pokemon just cute. Besides, we need more than just Ekans, Cubone, and Koffing if we want to accomplish our job with success," He explained.
"Smart idea Bert," Jessie said, pulling out a Pokeball. " Then Clefairy will be my new Pokemon. Go Ekans!" She said, sending out her Ekans.
"Ekans," Ekans said, coming out of it, Pokeball looking back at Jessie, wondering what it was sent out for.
"Ekans, help me catch that Clefairy is we can add it to the team," Jessie said, pointing at the Clefairy behind the rock still.
Ekans nodded readily to fight and help its trainer catch herself a new pokemon to add to the team.
"Good luck," Bert said, hoping Jessie was successful in catching this Clefairy.
"Ekans start off with acid," Jessie commanded.
Ekans shot a spray of acid from its mouth-melting the rock. That Clefairy was hiding behind. Clefairy back away from the rock as it was melting.
"Clefairy," Clefairy said, looking at the melting rock then back at Ekans.
"Ekans now use Wrap," Jessie commanded. Ekans slither towards Clefairy, wrapping its body around Clefairy and squeezing its body.
"Cle, fairy," Clefairy said, trying to break free with Double Slap.
"Ekans, don't let it break free, increase your Wrap, and then bite."
Ekans then increased the wrap and then bite Clefairy, knocking it out. "Alright, Pokeball, go!" Jessie said, throwing a Pokeball at the unconscious Clefairy.
The Pokeball shook twice untiled it clicked, signaling that Clefairy was caught.
"Great job, Ekans return," Jessie said, returning her purple snake Pokemon.
"Nice Jess, you caught a Clefairy," James said, hugging Jessie, causing Bert to glare at him slightly. While Meowth nodded glad to, there was now a new member.
'I'm grateful for James congratulating me but kind of wish that it was Bert hugging me instead.' Jessie thought.
"Yeah, great job," Bert said with a smile.
"Thanks, Bert," Jessie said with a faint blush on her face seeing his smile.
"Welcome, Clefairy will need rest through before being used in a battle," Bert sated.
"That's true," Meowth agreed.
"Of course," Jessie said. "Now, let's back to what we came here for."
"Right, how about we split on up instead of searching together," Bert said. "It will be easier and faster to fund a Moonstone that way."
"Agree," Jessie, James, and Meowth said simultaneously.
The gang then split off in separate directions to search for Moonstones.
