8. A Long Over Due Author's Note

Hello, everyone.

This is a long over due note on Dummies. I have rewritten it yet again, an action that should come to no surprise to anyone who is familiar with how many times this story has been rewritten. Dummies has been in this site for a while and I'm pretty sure it inspired one other fanfic just based on the similarities to my own Dummies. I won't name the fic, and I have no hate to the author of that story. I enjoyed reading it as well.

Dummies is OLD. It was written when the show was beginning to run out of steam. I wrote myself into a corner with Michael and Gabriel, and so now, I'm looking at this old story with a new lense. I've finished college. i've gotten married. I have a house. The show has ended.

It's time.

Dummies is being rewritten on Archive of Our Own under the same name. The User is the same. Under the Series, is another story called How to survive Supernatural which holds both OG and 2nd Rewrite Version of Dummies. I hope you all give the new story a chance. I'm doing something a little bit different while trying to keep with the spirit of the old stories like I originally wanted.

The Following chapters after this are chapters I never uploaded/forgot I uploaded and later took down. They will be uploaded in the best chronological order I can. Some of them are full chapters, some of them are fillers. It does not mean the story is getting a full update on FF dot net. I've moved fully onto AO3 because I like their layout better. I'll keep this story up for everyone who remembers the old story and wanted to see where this story was going afterwards.

I would like to point you to the original publish date. Where it states when this story was published. Dummies, the original one, was published in 2014. This is the 3rd rewrite where not much was changed. I wrote this when I was in high school and then tried to salvage it in college before I gave up.

I really want to know why you're getting so mad over something that happened at most, five years ago. Dummies isn't written for you. It's written for me, as it always has. Go outside and smell some grass because clearly getting mad over some inconsistency in a high school fanfiction is not doing it for you.
