It only took Zoe a couple of days to notice a distinct difference in Dean after Sam left. He barely spoke to her, and for a while, Zoe was okay with that. It meant she could have some time to herself to think. Tagging along with the Winchesters left her with little breathing room, and Dean never really left her alone. She blamed Bobby for this. So when Dean finally left for a vampire hunt, Zoe took advantage of the time to relax.

Gabriel seemed to believe she had the ability to tell Dean Winchester of all people what he should do. All of heaven couldn't get Dean to say yes to Dean. What made him think that a kid could?

She sighed and leaned back on the couch. All she wanted was to go home. She had been randomly picked to play babysitter to an almost thirty-year-old man all because the creator of the universe had said so.

Exactly what did Gabriel want? How in the hell was she supposed to make sure that the show would run its course like it was supposed to? It should follow it, no? Regardless of her presence or not?

Zoe shook her head, hoping to quiet down the noise, and sighed. Gabriel refused to send her back. Maybe being dead left her unable to go home? She hoped that wasn't the case. She had a life back home, a happy one and in the snap of two fingers it was gone.

She drifted off in the couch, vaguely aware when Dean came in after the hunt and began to wash his clothes in the sink. She was also vaguely aware of Castiel appearing and startling Dean, and she couldn't even care less about what they were talking about. Maybe if she didn't do anything, the universe would work itself out. Dean was the one who woke her up, tossing her duffel bag on the couch.

"Pack up," he said, "We're going to Maine."

Zoe sighed and slowly pulled herself, casting a glare of annoyance to Castiel who didn't notice. Typical.

"You know I can tell you all you need to know about Raphael, right?" She said folding her clothes.

"Where you eavesdropping?" Dean asked.

Zoe shrugged, "Raphael already ditched his vessel. Besides, he doesn't know where God is. According to him, God is dead."

"Do you know where he is?" Castiel asked, albeit a bit too forcefully.

"I can't tell you that," Zoe said.

"Zoe-"

"I seriously can't tell you, Castiel," Zoe said.

"You were sent here to help us," Castiel stepped forward, "If you are abandoning you post-"

"Well can you blame me?" Zoe asked turning to the angel, "I've been thrown into a world were monsters are real. I don't have anyone in this world, and the Winchesters don't like me. I get the feeling I'm not hunted down by angels because they think I might skew events in their favour. I'm just a kid from Texas. I was supposed to be engaged! So forgive me if I'm not too enthusiastic about helping you."
