Narcissa made her way to the blacksmith's shop. It had been a few weeks since they returned to Port Royal. Will, who had been pardoned of all piracy charges, had asked to see her.

She pushed open the familiar door and found him working on a sword.

"You wanted to see me?" she asked. In truth she had avoided Will, feeling a bit conflicted about the events of Isla de Muerta. He nodded.

"Yes, I wanted to apologize for what happened on the island. I didn't want to hurt you but..."

"But you wanted to save Elizabeth," finished Narcissa. She knew her father had been bluffing but there was no way Will could have known that.

"I understand." She bit her lip thinking of what else to say. Then she sighed.

"It hurts to know I'll never see him again. You are a part of that. But if the positions were reversed, I would have wanted to save Elizabeth. My father killed yours and you killed him. You're even so to speak. It will take time to heal. But I forgive you.

"Really?" asked Will hopefully.

"You are my best friend and the man my sister loves. How can I not?" she replied softly taking his hand. "Speaking of which, it's about time you said I love you to Elizabeth's face.

"She's engaged," pointed out Will.

"So?" Asked Narcissa. "If you really want to make it up to me do yourself and Elizabeth a favor and tell her the truth. You'll regret it I'd you don't." Will still looked unsure and she rolled her eyes.

"Just think about it." Will laughed.

"If you say so Cissa." Narcissa sighed at his foolishness as she left. Jack the monkey who had been hiding outside jumped into her arms. Remind me never to fall in love," she told him bluntly. The little monkey chittered in response.

A few days later Elizabeth and Narcissa stood in the naval fort watching as a man read out Jack Sparrow's crimes before his execution.

"This is wrong," muttered Elizabeth. Narcissa understood her point although she felt no guilt over the Captain's impending death. Not because she actually cared about piracy but because it was slightly satisfying to see her father's killer die.

"Commodore Norrington is bound by the law," the governor told Elizabeth.

Suddenly Will, appeared in front of them wearing a long red cape and a large feathered hat.

"Elizabeth, I should have told you every day from the moment I met you. I love you." Elizabeth looked shocked but before she could say anything Will ran off. Narcissa narrowed her eyes suspiciously noting that a parrot had landed on one of the banners.

All of a sudden Elizabeth collapsed. Narcissa dropped to her side. Norrington and Governor Swann were also distracted. At the same time Will pushed his way through the crowd and just as the lever on the gallows was pulled Will threw his sword giving Jack something to stand on. Elizabeth sat up shockingly quickly.

Will was now fighting the executioner he cut Jack loose he shoved the executioner onto a group of naval officers and somersaulted off the platform. Narcissa watched in slight awe as the two men took on the battalion of officers. However, too soon they were surrounded.

Narcissa, Elizabeth, Norrington, and the Governor pushed their way towards where the men were surrounded.

"I thought we might have to endure some ill-conceived escape attempt, but not from you." said Norrington derisively. Weatherby Swann looked outraged.

"On our return to Port Royal, I granted you clemency. And this is how you thank me? By throwing in your lot with him? He's a pirate!"

"And a good man," countered Will defensively.

"Debatable," muttered Narcissa under her breath. If she'd learned anything it was that good and bad were really quite relative.

"If this means the hangman will earn two pairs of boots instead of one, so be it. My conscience will be clear." Will declared defiantly.

"You forget your place Turner," said Norrington who Narcissa suspected was miffed by Will's earlier declaration.

"It's right here between you and Jack," Will replied.

"As is mine," added Elizabeth coming to stand in between Will and the soldiers. Narcissa felt rather proud of her sister.

"Elizabeth," said Weatherby when she didn't move, he added "Lower your weapons. Put them down!"

"So, this is where your heart truly lies?" asked Norrington looking slightly disappointed.

"It is," said Elizabeth nodding. Narcissa smiled. Jack grinned.

"I'm feeling good about this. We've all arrived at a special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically." he said getting rather close in Weatherby's face. The Governor pulled away a Jack turned to Norrington.

"I want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that." He moved on to Elizabeth and Will.

"Elizabeth. It would never have worked between us, darling. I'm sorry. Will. Nice hat." Then he turned to face Narcissa.

"Narcissa. You're your father's daughter." Narcissa felt a swell of pride at the words and nodded. Jack backed away towards the edge of the fort.

"Friends. This is the day that you will always remember as the day that..." before he could finish his sentence Jack made one step too far and tumbled over the wall. They all rushed to the edge where they saw Jack surface in the water.

"Idiot. He's nowhere to go but back to the noose," said Norrington's right hand man Gillette.

"Sail ho!" called a soldier. They all looked and sure enough the Black Pearl came sailing around the bend. Jack struck out towards it. Narcissa now spoke glancing at Norrington.

"Perhaps on the rare occasion, pursuing the right course demands an act of piracy. Piracy itself can be the right course." Will turned to face Norrington.

"I will accept the consequences of my actions," he said honorably. Norrington surveyed him. Holding up his sword before finally saying.

"This is a beautiful sword. I expect the man who made it to show the same care and devotion in every aspect of his life." Narcissa and Elizabeth both breathed a sigh of relief

"Thank you," said Will. Norrington nodded and turned away.

"Commadore! What about Sparrow?" asked Gillette.

"Oh I think we can afford to give him one days head start," said Norrington. Will and Elizabeth were now staring lovingly into each other's eyes.

"This is the path you've chosen, is it?" asked Weatherby. "After all, he is a blacksmith." Elizabeth smiled and removed Will's hat.

"No, he's a pirate." Then the two lovers kissed.

"About bloody time," murmured Narcissa smirking as she turned away to watch the Pearl as it sailed off into the distance.

Narcissa wasn't sure what would happen next for what she would do in the future. But she did know that she was the daughter of Hector Barbossa, a pirate to the core. And this was not the end.
