Hand of Thrawn Fortress, Niruan, Empire of the Hand
"...fatigue, and currently in shock."
Thrawn continued to watch behind a glass with a doctor as medical experts continued to analyze Malgus. Currently, the infamous Sith Lord was sitting upright on a hospital bed with doctors all around him. To Thrawn, it seemed odd how calm Malgus was, especially with his suit removed as well as his respirator replaced by a tube attached to a machine.
"Curiosity." Thrawn muttered, having answered his own question. Despite having Ysalamiri in the area to keep his force abilities in check, Malgus was more curious than afraid or angry.
"I'm sorry sir?"
He looked to his left at the female doctor standing with him.
"My apologies, doctor. I was merely talking to myself."
The doctor nodded before looking back at a datapad.
"Continuing on, due to being frozen, the patient is not yet able to see. Considering how long he was in that state, he could be blind between a few weeks up to a few months. In the meantime, we will do everything in our power to ensure he makes a full recovery."
Thrawn did not respond. The Grand Admiral walked out of the room and into the patient's quarters. Doctors stopped what they were doing and looked at him.
"Leave us. I wish to be with the patient, alone." He ordered. They all swiftly left their tools on a table and walked out. Now alone, Thrawn took a chair and sat beside the bed. "Lord Malgus. I'm surprised you are taking this well."
Malgus' eyes continued staring at nowhere, but he still answered his visitor.
"Why did you unfreeze me?" The Dark Lord asked.
For a moment, Thrawn hesitated.
"Why ask that question? If a person is found frozen in carbonite, would it be wrong to just leave them as is?"
"No." Malgus shook his head. "I can tell from your voice. There is something you want."
Thrawn sighed. He preferred to wait until he was fully healed, but he should've known a commander like Malgus would ask such a question.
"Very well, I won't play games with you. Trust is, Lord Malgus, we need you to pick up the blade once again. The galaxy is at war with itself, and we need someone strong to help us stop this madness."
Malgus' body stiffened.
"Are you with the Jedi, or the Sith?"
The Grand Admiral shook his head.
"Neither. This war is like many other wars. A dispute between both orders and taking the rest of the galaxy with them. My faction, the Galactic Empire, is led by a Sith Lord and his apprentice while the other side, the Rebel Alliance, is led by a multitude of Jedi."
A small growl was heard from Malgus.
"You say neither. Are you planning to betray your Emperor?"
"The Emperor is a mad man. A selfish and greedy man who's ultimate goal is eternal life. If he cannot achieve that, then he is willing to burn the rest of the galaxy so nobody can succeed him."
Thrawn noticed Malgus grip his blanket.
"So another Darth Vitiate. Perhaps you are correct to scheme behind him. A man like that is a danger to both orders. I will be honest with you," Malgus sighed and calmed himself. "I cannot make a decision until I am fully healed. Once I am healthy and can see the galaxy myself, then I will come to you with a decision. I do not mean to offend, but I am as blind as a newborn babe. You may be feeding me lies this whole time."
The Grand Admiral smirked. He expected no less from someone so feared.
"A wise choice Lord Malgus. I apologize but I must take my leave. A war is still going on out there and I must be there to ensure as many of my soldiers stay alive as possible." Thrawn answered. He got up and began walking to the exit when Malgus spoke up once again.
"Tell me, who are you? I never got your name."
Turning with his hands behind his back, the Chiss answered his guest.
"I am Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Galactic Empire. Rest assured Lord Malgus, I have a feeling we will have a fruitful camaraderie."
Sanctuary City, Nirauan
"Hey wait up!"
Running down a sidewalk, a man sprinted to catch up to a group while carrying a box full of drinks.
"Really Cav? How many drinks did you buy this time?" Asked the giant of the group. Cav smirked in response. He was a dark-skinned man, bald, had a goatee, an x-shaped scar above his right eye, was wearing a gray jacket, black trousers, and white shoes.
"Hey don't complain Zuke." Cav argued back. Zuke was a very tall and muscular man. He had short brown hair, a full beard, light skin, a dark blue jacket, gray trousers, and brown boots. "You're the one who insisted on high-grade meat."
"Yes but the meat is needed. We don't want you drunk off your ass again." Responded Misty. The sniper was wearing a green wide-brim hat, a zipped-up brown long-sleeve shirt, green camo pants, and black boots. A few scars could be seen on his light skin.
"Ugh, pretty damn hungry right now." Complained Shrap. The pyromancer was a light-skinned man with short red hair, short stubble, a black hoodie, black trousers, and gray boots.
"Heheheh, look at these idiots argue." In the back of the group, Mic and Aero were snickering. Mic was a light-skinned man with small eyes, black hair, wore a dark green shirt, tan shorts, and black shoes. Aero meanwhile, was a tanned-skinned man with brown hair, a small mustache, was wearing a blue shirt, black sweatpants, and blue shoes.
"Yeah, what a couple of idiots." Aero responded.
"Oh I know you guys aren't talking." glared Shrap. "Losing five thousand credits last week over a dumb bet."
The squad continued walking down the sidewalk as they argued among each other. Around them, a city was bustling with life. Sanctuary was relatively new as evident from portions of the city still under construction. High rise skyscrapers, night clubs, restaurants, residential areas, everything needed that made a city. The majority of its populace were refugees and former Separatists. People of all corners of the galaxy from Humans, to Wookiees, to Twi'leks, to Togrutans, and so on. Thrawn's Empire gave them new life away from the war.
Peace, something these people longed for and Thrawn provided. So long as the Rebellion never finds them and Thrawn remains on the Emperor's good side. However, the Empire of the Hand served a different purpose other than a getaway for people that wanted out of the wars. Under the supervision of Thrawn, it also served as testing grounds for the military as well as secretive scientific research. With factories and shipyards being built, both Palpatine and Thrawn saw the territory as a way to hide reserve forces. Away from the dangers of Rebel interference.
Officially, many warships do not exist as they were built in Thrawn's territory. Unofficially, they were meant to launch a full assault on Rebel forces if the Inner Rim was endangered. Very few high-ranking people know these forces even exist. While it was seen as a hidden weapon for Palpatine, it was seen as the deciding factor for Thrawn. He could unleash his fleets and armies on the Rebels as much as Palpatine. The deciding factor is who could lead the galaxy to prosperity and to Thrawn and many others, neither Palpatine or Mothma meet this criteria.
"Hey, heard a bunch of refugees from Jabiim arrived yesterday." said Zuke. "Sarge said to keep an eye out if they get rowdy before he wandered off somewhere."
Misty rolled his eyes.
"Oh yeah that's real fucking easy. Can't differentiate some person from Tatooine or from Jabiim. Not like we don't have enough bar fights already."
"Guys?" The group turned around to see Mic further back, looking into a bar where a crowd started forming. "Come take a look at this."
Curious, the group joined up with Mic to see what got everyone's attention.
"Is that..." Aero asked.
"Yeah, the trial." Mic responded.
Coruscant, Inner Rim
Imperial Military Court
Sitting on one of the benches of the courtroom, Grand Admirals Osvald Teshik and Afsheen Makati waited for the judges to return with their decision. Teshik sat stoically while Makati was gripping his hands together nervously.
"Calm down." Teshik said to Makati. He glanced around the courtroom. Civilians, military officers, politicians, reporters, all came to see the ruling for arguably, the most important trials in a long time. "Seeing you nervous won't do us any good."
Makati didn't say a word, but took a deep breath to calm himself. Seeing his fellow Grand Admiral heeding his advice, Teshik looked at the back of the defendant sitting before him.
General Cassio Tagge. The highest ranking official to survive the destruction of the Death Star aside from Lord Vader. Despite records proving that Tagge clashed with his colleagues on how the station should be used and defended, someone still needed to be blamed and with almost every officer dead and nobody having the guts to accuse Vader, they turned their attention on Tagge. Sitting besides him were three other officers who acted as his lawyers. Thus far, they've proven that the General has done nothing wrong, at least to Teshik.
"All rise."
Everyone stood up as seven Generals and Admirals marched to their seats. They were known as "The Honest Seven". Generals and Admirals who had a history of catching corrupt officials red-handed so to make sure they didn't snoop in places they shouldn't be, Emperor Palpatine appointed all of them as judges for the IMC. Sure they could prosecute and send people to jail, but they couldn't personally investigate themselves. They could only deal with what's in front of them, which was fine for Palpatine, as long as the people he needed didn't blunder.
"You may be seated." Said one of the judges once the seven sat down. "After reviewing all of the information and statements presented before us, we, the Imperial Military Court, have reached a decision. May the defendant stand up please."
General Tagge and his lawyers stood up. Throughout the galaxy, everyone who was watching held their breaths.
"For the destruction of Alderaan and its inhabitants and the destruction of the DS-1 Mobile Battle Station along with the tremendous loss of life, we, the Imperial Military Court find the defendant, General Cassio Tagge, not guilty of all charges."
Immediately, General Tagge's supporters applauded with the General hugging his lawyers, elated. Teshik sat stone-faced, but noticed that Makati had his eyes closed with his head down.
"Furthermore, the Imperial Military Court has found the blame of the destruction of Alderaan and the DS-1 Mobile Battle Station solely on the deceased Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. General Cassio Tagge must be returned to his command and the decision for reparations shall be left to Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Case dismissed." Said the General before he banged his gavel.
The room was then filled with chatter with the media having their cameras focus on the joyful General Tagge.
"Are you alright?" Teshik asked Makati without looking.
Makati continued looking at the floor. The cybernetic Grand Admiral could still see sadness in him.
"I'm glad Tagge was found innocent. It would make me feel worse if someone ended up being blamed for something they didn't do. Nonetheless, it still feels like an empty victory. No matter what, he's...he's not coming back."
Teshik remembered why Makati was depressed. His son was a Captain aboard the Death Star and was killed due to Tarkin's folly.
"You and I know there will never be reparations. Not even a simple apology." Makati continued. "Nobody will ever be held accountable, nothing will change."
The cyborg got up and walked past the grieving officer.
"Then make a decision and help us. Sitting by will do you no good."
"Help me get Kadann and I will consider it."
Makati didn't get an answer as Teshik left the now nearly empty courtroom. Outside, he found Tagge being mobbed by the media as he pushed through with the security.
"General Tagge!" Teshik called out. The General turned to find Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik approaching him.
"Ah, Grand Admiral Teshik!" The two high-ranking officers shook hands, which provided a great picture for headlines from the media. "I saw you earlier but never got a chance to greet you. Finally, this farce is over huh?"
"Indeed." Teshik nodded. "Congratulations on your victory. A shame that there are so many who should be facing justice who have never seen any courtrooms. Yet, a prestigious General like you did so before them? A travesty really."
"Yeah well," General Tagge let go, feeling a slip of paper in his hand which he hid in his sleeve. "Maybe we'll see changes in the future. After today, damn right I'm gonna do my part."
The cyborg patted Tagge's shoulder.
"In due time General. This is an era of bravery, sacrifice, and change. I already know you will be there to see it."
Without another word, Teshik marched off with a few Stormtroopers trailing him. Tagge continued staring at the Grand Admiral. He heard rumors about him, but perhaps they will be confirmed soon. Now he just needs to return to his office to see what Teshik slipped into his hand.
Hand of Thrawn Fortress, Nirauan
Malgus could feel the many people working around the facility he was in. Until he could get his eyesight back, the former member of the Dark Council meditated in his hospital. This Grand Admiral Thrawn he met seemed genuine. Alas, he had to be patient as Malgus was in no condition to be moving about.
While doing so, Malgus had to minimize his force presence. He was powerful, but that power made him a beacon for all force users. His mission had just started, and Malgus did not want to get the attention of the other Sith Lords yet.
"Jadus." Malgus whispered.
"What was that sir?"
In his thoughts, Malgus had forgotten about the female doctor next to his bed who was monitoring his vitals.
"It is nothing." Malgus replied. "Will I get my eyesight back soon doctor?"
He could hear the doctor tap on her datapad.
"Hard to say. Considering how long you have been frozen, according to the Grand Admiral's calculations, you could be blind up to a few weeks to even a year. Other than that, you're remarkably calm for someone who is thousands of years old."
Malgus nodded.
"There is no use in panicking, doctor. As for my scars, I will have to decline. They are a reminder of who I was, and why I must be stronger."
"Very well." The doctor set something down on the table next to the bed. "There is a button on the table here. If you need assistance, just press it and our nurses will come and help."
The Sith Lord said nothing when the doctor left, leaving him to his lonesome. His thoughts returned to right before his imprisonment in carbonite.
Flashback
"Ngh, where am I?" Malgus awoke to the ceiling of a cavern. He tried getting up, but he felt restraints on his wrists and his ankles. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Calm yourself Lord Malgus."
The Sith looked to his right and his eyes widened. There in armor cracked and dirtied, sat the feared Darth Jadus. Malgus had not seen the powerful Sith Lord in a very long time and certainly did not picture a man so powerful like him just sitting on a pile of junk.
"Jadus? How? How are you here? Where am I?"
There was no response. The restrained Sith flinched when Jadus teleported himself to Malgus' side.
"Do you not remember yourself in Republic captivity?"
Malgus thought back.
"I did. At one point, my imprisonment became a blur and thenā¦darkness. I cannot recall anything until I awoke here."
"Sounds about right." Jadus placed a hand on the table Malgus was on. "I will be blunt with you Lord Malgus, but your story in this era must end here."
"WHAT?" Malgus tried to get up, but the restraints held him back. Strangely, he couldn't even feel the force. "Do you plan to kill me Lord Jadus?"
"No." The Dark Lord pushed Malgus back on the table. "My story ends here too. Soon, I will pass on, but your story continues in a different era."
"Get to the point, Jadus." Anger turned into shock when Jadus twisted his helmet and took it off. Behind the helmet was a scarred old man, tired and barely holding on to life.
"I saw many horrors in my travels. Visions of the future, the galaxy aflame. Both Jedi and Sith, standing side by side."
"I too saw a vision of the galaxy on fire." Malgus confirmed. "But that was all I saw."
"Your vision was incomplete then. Malgus, in a few thousand years, the chains holding back a great evil will be broken. I will be dead, the Sith Empire gone, both the Sith and Jedi locked into another battle that will only weaken the galaxy." Jadus leaned closer to Malgus' face. "That is why here, the great Betrayer must now be the great Unifier."
Malgus heard gears whirring and felt the table lean forwards.
"What is this?" He looked at Jadus and roared. "What are you doing!"
All he heard from his fellow Sith was ancient Sith incantations. Malgus struggled with all the strength he could muster. He could see the steam coming from a hole on the ground.
Carbonite. He thought.
"You have yet to control your anger and utilize the Force like I have." Jadus said as the table stopped tilting. By now, only the restraints were keeping him from falling in. "I'm sorry my friend, but as my final act while I'm still alive, I do what I must. For the good of us all."
The restraints clicked open and Malgus fell.
"JADUS!" Malgus roared. Steamed filled the room and his vision filled with darkness.
Unknown Location
Once again, Malgus opened his eyes and sat up. He became confused when he found himself at a location he did not recognize at all. It was just white. There was nothing here but the color white.
"What is all this?" Malgus stood up and took in his surroundings.
"Are you calm now?"
He turned around, to find Jadus. This time, the Sith was standing on a pillar of rock that came out of nowhere. His armor was now pristine, not a speck of dirt on it.
"Jadus. Where did you send me?"
"Someplace that I created, just for you. Your physical body is frozen, but mine lays on that cavern waiting to be decomposed. I control everything here." Jadus snapped his fingers and the emptiness turned into a lush forest. "Here I will teach you how to control your anger like I have. You will learn how to win before the battle begins. This place does not obey the laws of time like the land of the living."
The Dark Lord teleported to the bottom of the pillar and force pushed a surprised Malgus through a tree. Malgus jumped into a battle stance, ignoring the pieces of wood stuck to his armor.
"We can take all the time we need." Jadus said. He ignited his lightsaber and pointed it at Malgus. "Your training begins now."
Present Day
Even to this day, Malgus could still feel the pain from training. Anger swelled up, but he contained it. The fearsome Darth Malgus just could not compete with someone of Jadus' caliber. It was rumored that Emperor Vitiate considered Jadus "the most perfect Sith Lord the Empire has ever produced" and that meant a lot. Now that he thought about it, Jadus was indeed in a class of his own.
The man in charge of the Empire's intelligence never engaged in petty squabbles like other members of the Dark Council, he never showed any prejudice towards non-Human species, and he never showed anger to anyone, at least in public.
"Hmmm, interesting." Malgus' attention was drawn to a group training within the facility. They weren't force users, but he could tell these people could cause problems for a lot of people, even Jedi Masters.
In another area of the Fortress
"On your left!"
Zuke in his armor glanced to his left as a Rebel trooper charged him with a blaster. Before the titan of a man could bring his gun to bear, sparks flew out of the Rebel's neck and fell forwards. After a moment, there was a shimmer and the Rebel turned back into a Holodroid. Right by the droid, there was a faint shimmer before Cav appeared with knives in both hands.
"Thanks for the help Cav." Zuke said. He brought up his rotary cannon and mauled down another group of Rebels/Droids. A Combat Shield appeared from his cannon and blocked a volley of blaster fire from more Rebels that were hiding behind cover. The shield was big enough to cover Zuke's massive body. "Going stationary!"
Three Rebels found themselves on fire as Shrap swooped by with his flamethrowers. The Demolitions Expert zipped around the training grounds with his repulsorlift skates, courtesy of former Nimbus Commandos from Jabiim Thrawn hired to train troops.
"Mic, these upgrades are great!" On the wall from the other side of the grounds, Misty was standing with his boots on the wall. It would appear that Misty was defying gravity while taking shots at Rebels from far away, but his new gloves and boots allowed the sniper to stick to any surface.
"That's an understatement!" Flying over Rebels while dropping grenades, Aero was using a jetpack. Aside from that, his visor gave off a blue glow just like Mic's. The visor was attached to a device on Aero's waist that can scramble sensors of any type within a certain distance. "If I could, I'd kiss you."
Another figure flew by Aero and smacked a Rebel with a jetpack out of the air.
"Please don't. I don't swing that way." Mic said. He already had a jetpack but he had a different device from Aero's. This allows the tech expert to act as a radar, detecting electronic equipment from a pretty long distance. Blasters are included.
While Zuke was pinning groups of Rebels down with his rotary cannon, a Rebel was sneaking up on him with a knife. Zuke paid no mind as the Rebel behind him found cables and a grappling hook around its body. It made no noise as it was yanked backwards and sliced in half by a green lightsaber.
"On the contrary, you deserve all the praise." Kreel said. He retracted his grappling hook back to the gauntlet on his left wrist. Hearing another Rebel charging him with a knife, the sergeant grabbed the offender's face. Electricity crackled from his glove which electrocuted the Droid. "Just not the way Aero proposed."
The final Rebel tried to take a potshot at a flying Mic but it spasmed before falling forwards. Behind it, Cav deactivated his cloaking device.
"Simulation over." They heard the loudspeaker say.
"Damn, I'm beat." Muttered Mic when he landed. "You guys want food?"
Mic heard the other members of his squad nod or reply with a yes while they walked to the exit.
"I'm gonna go feed our pets first." Misty said. "I'll catch up later."
"Alright, don't take too long." Kreel told Misty. They split apart, with Misty going down one end of the hallway next to the training ground, while the rest of the squad went another. Even further down the hallway, Misty could still hear rambunctious laughter from his squad.
Down the hall, he continued passing other soldiers, officers, engineers, and scientists. Some gave the elite Stormtrooper a nod as he passed. However, instead of continuing on down to the holding pens, Misty took a left and walked into his squad's barracks. The sniper sat on the bottom of a bunk bed and took out a holocommunicator. After a moment, the holocommunicator turned on, revealing a Twi'lek woman in a green dress.
"Shaeeah." Misty said quietly.
"Are you okay love?" Asked the worried Twi'lek. Misty took off his helmet, showing his sweaty but smiling face.
"Not really. I wish I was home with you and the family."
"I do too." Shaeeah placed a hand on her stomach. "My dad said you should leave and come home."
Misty shook his head.
"Your dad should know that I would never abandon my brothers."
"I know." Shaeeah said. "I just wish the war would be over soon."
"So do I." The sniper allowed a few tears to escape. "I love you so much."
Restricted Area, Hand of Thrawn Fortress
In a nearly empty area of the fortress, a pair of officers walked down a long hallway. Their only company was the occasional patrol group consisting of Death Troopers or Nova Troopers.
"I understand that killing the Emperor is essential, but what about the others? Vader? The Inquisitors? What about his majesty's guards?"
The officer waved off the concerns.
"I assure you Baron Fel, the Grand Admiral and the others have a plan for that."
"Does it concern our new friend upstairs, Admiral Parck?" Fel asked.
"Well, he was not on Thrawn's initial plans, but now that he's here, it will make things easier. Especially if Thrawn manages to convince him to join us." Answered Parck. They came upon a large blast door being guarded by Nova Troopers and Death Troopers who had Ysalamiri with them. "But trust me, Thrawn knows exactly what he's doing."
The blast door opened and the lights inside turned on. Fel's face morphed into one of shock as he gazed around the room.
"What is this?"
"Thrawn's time under High Inquisitor Jerec was not wasted, Fel." Parck said. All over the room were many crates, though there were many lightsabers hanging on the walls as well as multiple holocrons on pedestals. High up on the ceiling were tattered battle flags belonging to the Old Republic and the Sith Empire. "Our dear friend managed to swipe all of these from right under Jerec's nose as well as setting back the High Inquisitor's plans to usurp the Emperor."
"How did he manage that?" Fel asked, inspecting a green holocron.
"Jerec was so focused on accumulating knowledge from ruins, that he was blind to Thrawn scheming behind him." Parck continued to walk towards the end of the room. "He managed to convince the High Inquisitor to have all of the artifacts be transported to Prakith. However, Thrawn snuck in Ysalamiri to mask the artifacts and the Arquitens transporting them had a 'hyperspace accident'. In reality, Thrawn arranged for the Arquitens to go to Nirauan with the prize."
"I can imagine Jerec wasn't pleased." Fel commented, walking beside the Admiral.
"Jerec was furious of course." Parck smiled. "As much as he wanted to kill Thrawn then and there, he could not risk it. The Emperor favored Thrawn highly. More so than most Imperials, and Jerec knew that. To kill Thrawn would mean the Emperor will have you hunted down and given the most painful of deaths. Thrawn is the Emperor's favorite strategist, and the Grand Admiral took advantage of that to the best of his abilities. So far, it has paid off."
"And what plans does he have to combat force users on both sides?"
"Well one of them is here of course."
They came upon a chest on a pedestal that had a Ysalamiri resting on top of it. On both sides of the pedestal were two holocrons on their own pedestals. One was labeled "Marr" and the other was labeled "Jadus".
"What are you doing?" Fel asked. He noticed that Parck now held a lightsaber in one hand. "Parck, what is this?"
"Thrawn ordered me to do this." Parck said silently. Picking up the Ysalamiri and placing it on his shoulder, the Admiral opened the chest which revealed a broken, white mask.
"Parck, what is this?" Fel repeated.
The Admiral was silent. Instead of responding, he placed the lightsaber inside the chest. There was a small tap as the lightsaber made contact with the mask. Fel looked on in confusion while Parck continued to stare at the mask. Silence, neither making a sound.
While unheard by most people, force users all over the galaxy clutched their heads in pain. Many screamed in agony. To them, the force screamed in terror and pain.
Up above, Malgus rubbed his head. While certainly painful, he was used to it. The Dark Lord was more confused if anything, but thanks to Jadus' teachings, he kept his composure.
In Mon Cala, the new Jedi Council was having a meeting when the force screamed. Various Councilmembers, whether there physically or via hologram, grabbed their heads in pain. The hologram of Master Yoda rubbed his temple before glancing to his left, where Master Dass Jennir writhed on the ground.
On a jungle planet, Darth Vader slashed a Rebel trooper in half before he kneeled.
"Wha-what is this feeling?" He asked himself.
"Darth Vader is down!" A Rebel yelled. "Get him!"
Many Rebels broke cover, but Vader was not done. He got up and looked around.
"Fools, all of you."
All the way in Coruscant, Emperor Palpatine reviewed reports on his desk when the migraine hit him. It was a feeling he had never felt before. However, if one were to look straight into his eyes, they could see fear. Fear was something Palpatine rarely ever showed in his life, but this time, it was different.
"Who are you?" Palpatine muttered.
Back on Nirauan, Parck wordlessly withdrew the lightsaber and closed the chest. He then placed the Ysalamiri on top of the chest while clipping the lightsaber to his belt.
"What did you just do?" Fel asked, now worried. He never understood the Force, but he knew that it was powerful and that Parck just did something he should be worried about.
"The Mask and Lightsaber. His cloak is under guard in Korriban and if the three items are reunited with a living host, HE would return. Luckily, Thrawn kept the items separated." Parck smiled at the worried Baron Fel. "Now the Jedi have no choice but to come here. They are welcome to remove themselves from the known galaxy and try us."
Author's Notes: Sorry for the long wait. School, work, life, all that jazz. Also I erased 75% of the initial chapter which was around 5000 words because I realized the idea was stupid. Can you believe the chapter alone was going to be crossovered with Attack on Titan? It revolved around an Imperial Fleet fighting Marley while simultaneously fighting off a Black Sun Fleet. Yeah, I decided to scrap that. Guess I got caught up with the Attack on Titan hype during that time. It's also why the chapter is much shorter than usual. Perhaps, I should do that instead of going for long 8K-12K word chapters. Eh, just do what I'm comfortable with.
Anyways, I also started a new story titled "Prometheus". It's a My Hero Academia fic. If you're into that, go ahead and check it out. Would appreciate some feedback so I can improve my writing skills.
Peace out, Fight On, May the Force be with you.
