Hicca ran as fast as her two feet could carry her. Her body screamed at her for a break, but she couldn't and she wouldn't. Stopping wasn't an option.

The young teen wiped at her eyes as tears clouded her vision and tried her hardest to calm her erratic breathing from both sobbing, having a panic attack, and more.

Reaching the cove where her best friend and biggest secret was hidden, she quickly slipped into the small opening of the peaceful cove and looked around like mad to find her friend. "Toothless! Come out, please!" She cried out "now is not the time for games!"

From behind Hicca, a thump was heard and she quickly spun around and came face to face with the most feared beast throughout the whole archipelago. The Unholy Offspring of Lightning and Death itself. A Night Fury.

Without hesitation, Hicca ran towards the scaly reptile and flung herself at him. "W-we have to go!" The tiny girl exclaimed "we have to g-go and ne-never return!" she sobbed. Toothless crooned softly as his small human cried into his shoulder. He wanted to know what happened to cause such a distress, but kept it in mind for later and pulled away and lowered his body for now to allow the small girl to climb onto his back.

Hicca grabbed his saddle and hastily hoisted herself up onto his back and put her feet into the stirrups and held tightly as Toothless spread his wings and kicked off the ground and sprung into the air and flapped his wings as quickly as he could to get them far away from the island called Berk.

Taking this valuable time, Hicca concentrated on calming her breathing down and her shaking down. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her sleeve and used her other to do the same to her nose to rid of the snot.

Crooning again to get his little riders attention, Toothless looked over his shoulder with large concerned eyes at Hicca. He had leveled out to fly smoothly once he knew they were out of Berks territory and a bit further.

Sniffing, Hiccup leaned forward and pressed her chest against Toothless and reached down to scratch his neck and then hugged him. "I… I'll tell you later… for now, just… just keep going, okay sweetie?" Toothless purred in response and continued to carry his girl as far as his wings could carry them till they would have to land somewhere to rest before continuing their escape.
