We're back on chapter two.
REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN LEGEND OF KORRA, TMNT AND WINX CLUB OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.
The day was bright, and New York City was much quieter than usual. It's been two years since the defeat of the Kraang, the Shredder and Kavaxas. The past two years indeed were a time of major change, but this was far from the end.
Kirby O'Neil got himself a job with TCRI. The Utroms were having a peaceful life in Dimension X. Karai was still leading the Foot Clan from the evil the late Shredder, Oroku Saki had done.
Many new challenges lay ahead in life, but only time would tell what exactly they were. The turtles and their friends were up to life as usual, having defeated practically all of their enemies and no longer being burdened by the responsibility of saving the city.
Things had change these two years, no crime, no alien invasion, no Kraang, and most of all, no Shredder.
Meanwhile, in the lair, in the dojo, the turtles were still training in the ways of their now-deceased Master Splinter, for the training of the Ninja does not stop during times of peace.
"Ok, Raph, let's see what you've learned today." Leonardo said, being the sensei of the team. "I'm your target."
"Sure thing, Fearless Sensei" Raphael said with a grin as he was getting ready to face against his brother.
Leonardo was ready to make his moves. Raphael focused carefully on his brother's movements, remaining motionless and conserving his energy for the moment he would strike. And when the moment was most had come.
"Ye-yah!"
Leonardo's moves were dodged, having surprised at just how much Raphael was able to maintain himself and not lose his temper. Without anger, Raphael's movements were more focused, being the strongest of the team, that focus as put to good use. It was over, Leonardo was exhausted.
"Good work, Raph." Leonardo said with a smile on his face, feeling proud of his brother.
"It's been two years since we defeated those bad guys, and yet, I'm still feel like we're retiring." Raphael said with a frustrated tone.
"What should retire for?" Donatello asked. "We're not 68. We could still fight crime."
"Well, who would we fight. The Foot are redeemed by Karai, Shredder's dead, the Kraang are toast for good. I never thought I missed , Kavaxas, Lord Dregg and Savanti." Raphael said.
"What about Snakeweed, Spider Bytez and those Squirrelanoids?" Michelangelo asked. "Or the Foot, or the Kraang, or Shredder…"
"I already said Foot, Shredder and Kraang." Raphael said.
"Oh, sorry."
"What's the point? The city doesn't really need us anymore." Raphael said. "I mean, look at us. No Shredder, no Kraang. And we're here, training as always. And I miss Master Splinter when he was alive."
Leonardo looks uneasily, seeing his brother's point. Since the Super Shredder killed Master Splinter two years ago, he had some doubts of the responsibility of protecting the city.
"You're right, Raph. I think it's time we should retire." Donatello said. "I might give up the science stuff."
"Hey, guys. I know what can bring us a smile." Michelangelo picks up a video tape of 'Little Shop of Horrors'.
"Little Shop"
"Little Shop of Horrors"
Michelangelo sings the theme song and danced. "Casey told me about this movie. He said it's great."
Raphael was confused about that movie. "What the hell's that, Mikey?"
"It's a musical scary movie about a plant." Michelangelo said. "Like 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'."
"But Frank's an alien from outer space, and the plant isn't?" Donatello asked.
"You'll find out soon, Donnie. Let's go watch it." Michelangelo said before he rushed to the TV putting on the movie. Donatello and Raphael walked to the couch, but Leonardo stood there, looking depressed. He walked to a picture of Hamato Yoshi, who became Master Splinter.
"Master Splinter, I know we've fought many criminals and villains in our time. But, after two years, there's no crime at all. We felt like we're not needed anymore. Father, is it the best that the world is better off without us, or it might still need us?"
Donatello entered back in the dojo, noticing that his brother was feeling dejected. "Leo, the movie is starting. We're waiting for you."
Leonardo turns to his brother with a faint smile. "I'm coming. I just want to know what is it about a singing plant."
The two turtle brothers walked to watch the movie.
Meanwhile, at the street, April and and Casey were walking to the lair. They where bored after two years of no crime and no saving.
"This just isn't fair, it's been two years after the Kraang and Shredder got defeated. And there's never been a bad guy left." April said.
"Yeah, it's a bummer." Casey said. "I've been waiting for any crook to rob a bank, steal a car, and nothing. Not a damn thing."
"Maybe it's best that we should give up this ninja stuff."
"Red, I can't give up on faith. We can still train with the guys." Casey said.
"Yeah, I guess you're right, Casey." April said with a smile.
"Now, let's go and see the guys." Casey said.
April and Casey walked to the sewer lair.
Meanwhile, at the harbour, a ship came. Korra, the Avatar of the Balance herself, her husband Mako, her two-year old twin children, Raava and Vaatu on a pram, named after the two Avatar Spirits, Bolin and Asami were exiting the ship. It's been a year since Korra, and Mako had been there on their honeymoon.
Two Years after Korra defeated the alien witch Meldora, and she can feel relax once again in New York City.
Bolin runs off the ship excitedly. "Hello, New York! We should see a movie here. We should eat somewhere at a restaurant somewhere."
"We know a place." Korra said. "There's this noodle shop we went on our honeymoon."
"Wait, Korra, don't we have a meeting with the Home Office?" Mako as concerned.
"They can wait." Asami said. "What's the shop called?"
"Murakami's." Raava's imprint said. "He makes the best food we have ever tasted."
"Oh, I miss this city." Vaatu's imprint said. "Ahhh, it's good to be back."
"Okay. But I'm paying for the kids' food this time." Mako said before he kneels down to his children's pram. "Is it, my little Raavy and Vaaty? Is it my turn to pay for you?" He cooled to his twins who smiled and cooled back to their daddy.
"Daddy, Daddy." the twins said.
"Aw, they're growing up so fast." Raava's imprint said.
"These are gonna be the next Avatar's teachers." Vaatu's imprint said.
Bolin walks to his brother and looks at his niece and nephew. "God. If Opal and I got married, I'd love a baby so cute like yours."
"Asami, what do you think the Home Office want to see us for?" Korra asked.
"I don't know." Asami said. "They sent you a message, did they?"
"Yeah. But let's just go to Murakami's first." Korra said.
The group started to walk to Murakami's noodle shop. A red-haired teen girl walked by them.
"Hey, uh, I'm on a vacation here." the girl said. "Do you know any restaurants I might eat at?"
"Yeah, Murakami's." Korra said. "We're heading there anyway. You should come."
"Thanks." the girl said.
"What's your name, miss?" Mako asked.
"My name's Bloom." the girl said.
"Where are you from, Bloom?" Asami asked.
"Gardenia." Bloom said.
"That's s beautiful place." Bolin said.
"Thanks." Bloom said.
Meanwhile, at the now-deceased Shredder's lair, where Karai was sitting on the throne, feeling depressed. Her life hadn't been so easier. Her mother Tang Shen, and her father Hamato Yoshi had been killed Oroku Saki. She rebuild the Foot Clan from the ways that the Shredder lead to evil.
Shinigami entered the room and bowed to Karai. "Senpai, there hasn't been any threats at all."
"Then there's no use of the Foot to defend New York." Karai said. "Two years, two years, then there's never been any bank robbery around."
"Are you saying you're giving up?" Shinigami asked. "You had been our leader for only two years."
"I'm not sure I'm fit to lead the Foot anymore." Karai said sadly. "I should quit and start a new life."
"If it's your choice, then it's up to you, Karai." Shinigami said. "But you should know, your father would be proud of you. You had lad the Foot to defend innocents from evil."
Karai smiled when Shinigami said to her. "Thanks, Shini." she said before she sees something out the window.
Karai walked out the window and sees two people, wearing trench coats and hats. Their faces were never seen. They were carrying some chemicals and mutagen.
"Mutagen? What is going on right now?" Karai wondered. "And who or what are those guys?"
"What can we do, Senpai?" Shinigami asked.
"Well, Shinigami, this is the chance of kicking criminals' butts." Karai said. "I'll call Leo and tell him what's going on."
The figures were walking down to where they were going. They check if they were spotted by police, but nothing.
"The boss will sure be pleased when we give this to Stockman." one figure said.
Chapter three will come.
