The Final of the Sports Festival!

(Sports Festival Stadium)

Taya and Katsuki stood across from one another, scowling at one another while trying to gauge their next move.

'Scales is tough, but she can't play that shit forever.' Even with her "Second-Wind" she had still used up her power and had yet to allow herself to be healed. 'I can still end this bitch, eas-'

He was interrupted by a punch across his face.

Stumbling back he watched as Taya threw another fist at him, barely dodging it as it passed by his cheek. Katsuki fired an explosion only for Taya to turn her back to him and allow her wings to take it. Swinging his arm around she managed to back him hard enough to force him back. He only growled and blasted himself at her with a hand held out. Taya shifted herself as the hand placed by her face while she thrusted a punch into elbow, earning a howl of pain.

She refused to stop there and swung herself around and swiped at his face, leaving a notable scar. Katsuki's eyes went wide before he blasted himself back only for Taya to close in and slam her fist into his face. He stumbled back a bit, but forced himself to stand and throw an explosion up. It stuck her chest and took up her vision, but didn't stop her from thrusting her foot up and kicking Katsuki off his feet. He fell on his back while Taya stumbled back holding her chest.

'Prick. Bloody, fucking Prick.' Taya thought. She stepped closer to Katsuki with her claws extended. Kicking him over, she was greeted with a small, but strong explosion straight into her stomach, forcing her to her knees.

"Stupid…CUNT!" Katsuki exclaimed, throwing a kick up at her. Her head flung back as she fell back while Katsuki stood back up with a frightening smile on his face. "If you think I'm gonna lose to a freak like you, then you have another thing coming!"

Taya only looked up with a scowl before an explosion covered her vision. She wailed out in pain as she was blasted across the stage with Katsuki chasing her. Stopping herself with her claws, Taya winced as another explosion came through, but wasn't blasted back this time. Instead she charged forward and headbutted his stomach as hard as she could. It had knocked the wind out of his temporality, but he gritted his teeth and brought his hands together down on her head. While she struck the ground, Katsuki fired an explosion down on her while blasting himself back.

"Come on Dragon-Bitch! I'm right fucking here!" Katsuki yelled out as he blasted himself at her.

Taya ripped herself from the ground and grabbed him as he slammed an explosion in her back. With a roar she violently slammed Katsuki into the ground, cracking the surface underneath them. She raised her fist up and struck down, missing as Katsuki moved his head out the way. Placing his hands to her stomach, he fired another explosion and blasted her off, along with parts of her coat. Katsuki got back on his feet and launched himself at her, ducking under her swing and blasting her side. Taya winced before she swung her tail around and slammed into Katsuki's side.

He tumbled across the stage before stopping himself and glaring over at Taya to find her doing the exact same thing. Explosions fired off as he took off to the air where Taya extended her wings and chased after him. What came next was her trying to knock Katsuki out of the sky while he blasted himself around and tried to counter her. A game of cat and mouse.

(Sports Festival, 1-A Class)

"Wow look at them go!" Kirishima yelled, more than excited to watch the fight.

"Yup. Really glad I got knocked out." Kaminari said with a sweatdrop. He would have died. That was actually what he believed. "Seriously, they could at least stay on the ground! What if they come over here?"

"Then we get hit whoever gets knocked over here." Kirishima declared.

"...I think I need to sit somewhere else." Kaminari decided, having Mineta agree with him frantically.

"I doubt the teachers would allow it to get that bad." Momo said, though there was a hint of unsurety in her voice. The last few matches made her wonder if there was an actual plan set to stop the students. "This is getting serious though. I'm surprised that Nightingale has lasted this long with her injuries."

"Well that's just how Taya is." They turned to see Galva coming up from the stairs with a smile on his face. "Taking on dumb challenges to prover herself."

"Solaris! You're okay!" Momo said happily as he plopped down next to her.

"Never been better." Galva laughed only to groan. Laughing hurts. "I'm just glad I didn't miss this. Bakugou's gonna get destroyed."

"What makes you believe that?" Momo asked, curiously.

"When Taya sets a challenge upon herself, she never fails to complete it. She wants to show the world what she can do, just like the rest of us." Galva said, looking at the fight with a wide grin. "The difference is, she promised she would win and she's never allowed herself to break it."

Galva could only watch the fight with a massive smile, believing full and well that Katsuki was gonna lose.

(Sports Festival, Stadium)

Katsuki could only growl as he dodged another attack from Taya, his shirt getting torn in the process. He had hoped he could take her down easier in the air, but she was even faster. 'That fucking aura. It rarely ever came up again since the first Hero Class. Fine, I'll just beat you into the fucking ground!'

He kept himself in place while Taya dashed down at him. At the last second he used his Stun Grenade and blinded her as she soared at him. Her claw stuck his stomach, but he bit through the pain and grabbed her arm. Flipping themselves around, he used his free hand to fire an explosion above them, blasting them straight down into the center of the stage.

Katsuki let out a few breaths as he glared down at Taya, the Dragoness clenching her eyes shut. No doubt in pain if her trembling form was any indication. Yet despite all of that, he pressed down on her face as her aura flickered a bit.

"HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT! I'M THE STRONGEST ONE IN THIS FUCKING SCHOOL! NOT DEKU, NOT MY SISTER, NOT FUCKING SEITO AND ESPECIALLY NOT YOU!" Katsuki yelled, pressing down harder in hope to at least hear a squeal from the Dragoness. He wanted this to be good, for her to admit who was the strongest one here! "SAY IT! SAY WHO'S THE BEST AND I'LL KNOCK OUT YOUR DUMBASS HERE AND NOW!"

"...Submit?" Taya asked suddenly, her pupils gazing purple. Her fading aura suddenly became fierce, potent enough to actually burn Katsuki's hand. He fired an explosion while blasting himself back. However the aura around her only grew upon standing back up, her eyes fully confirmed by red while only her slit, purple pupils could be seen. "A Nightingale. Never. Submits."

Her tone had grown much darker, making Katsuki take a step back. Relaxing what he did, he snarled out. "Act tough all you want! We all know who's the strongest one here!"

"...The strongest...Fine then." Taya muttered out, barely audible to her opponent. Her aura seemed to sink to her skin, glowing from within the scale. The look in her eyes was feral as she allowed a grin to match it. "I'll take you out here and now."

"LIKE HELL YOU ARE!" Katsuki declared while blasting himself forward. He extended his hands out and fired an explosion, consuming Taya in whole. Breathing heavily, he looked up at the smoke only to have his hands grabbed. "The fuck?!"

Taya appeared through the smoke, looking far from pleased if the glare on her face was any indication. She then began to press him down, forcing him to his knees almost straight away while he gritted his teeth at the pain. He fired another explosion, but failed to get the Dragoness off him. Instead she threw a knee into his face that sent him back. Katsuki landed on his feet while holding his now bleeding nose. Looking up, he only caught a glimpse of Taya running at him before stomping on his feet. Holding him in place, she began wailing on him, throwing punch after punch upon him with no mercy. Katsuki attempted to throw his arms at her hands and caught them, until her aura came bursting out from her scales and burned him badly. With one final strike, Taya struck Katsuki on the ground. Katsuki could only gasp out in pain while he laid on the ground, wondering what exactly just hit. He didn't have any time to think about this as he was grabbed by his leg and lifted off the ground.

"What's wrong?" Taya asked almost mockingly. He opened his mouth, but was suddenly swung around as if he was a baton at alarming speeds. It was only thanks to an off hand explosion that he was able to escape Taya, finding himself landing by the edge. Glancing up, he snarled as he saw Taya walking towards him.

"NO! I'LL NEVER LOSE! NEVER!" Katsuki made a circle motion with his hands before placing it in front of his open palm. "AP SHOT: AUTO CANNON!"

Small explosive shots fired from his hand and at Taya. Caught off guard by it, the Dragoness raised her arm up to defend herself from the miniature explosions, stepping back slightly from the impact. Seeing this, Katsuki only pushed on.

"AP SHOT!" A concentrated explosion shot through this time, striking Taya's unguarded chest and blasting her back. Seeing a chance, Katsuki charged forward and fired explosion after explosion, pushing her back all the while. "DIE!"

They neared the edge of the stage as Katsuki moved to fire another explosion, except an uppercut to his jaw sent him flying far off the ground. Taya however fell forward right afterwards, clutching her sides and breathing heavily. Katsuki in the meantime had caught himself up with his explosions before glaring at her hatefully.

He hated it when people defied his word. Yet it felt amazing when he could punish people for it.

He blasted himself downwards, spinning around while getting his super move ready. Meanwhile, Taya was on the ground, growling and breathing as she stood up slowly. Yet despite this, her scales were flashing concerningly fast and reaching up towards her neck now. Her aura was now coming out and coming much more volatile for anything around. Glancing up, she watched as hand was now in her face, her stomach and neck growing far too hot to handle any more.

"HOWITZER-" Katsuki never got to finish as his vision was consumed by heat and purple.

Hellish purple flames erupted from Taya's mouth followed up with a loud roar that echoed through the stadium. The flames soared through the air and well past stands, into the open sky for any and all to see. This had gone on for a moment before Taya was finally forced to stop the attack as she fell forward coughing. Raising her head up, she looked to where Katsuki was.

The boy was outside the ring, covered in soot and burns, above all else unconscious.

"AND THE WINNER OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL IS TAYA NIGHTINGALE!" Mic announced for all to hear. The crowd went wild, louder than ever before for the winner of the Sports Festival.

Taya could only huff as she forced herself to stand. Medical bots were already taking Katsuki away to get his injuries dealt with, leaving her to be the only one on stage. Yet she made no move to step off, not yet.

(Sports Festival, 1-A Class)

"HECK YEAH! BAKUGOU GOT DESTROYED!" Toru exclaimed, fist bumping in the air.

"NOW THAT'S GIRL POWER!" Mina said, joining her bestie.

Jiro was glad she got earbuds from Momo now.

"Such devastating power." Tokoyami mumbled. While it seemed as though she had little control right now, there was no doubt that Taya would gain control over it in the future. "I wouldn't be surprised if she made it to the top one hundred once we go Pro."

"Wait, what?" Galva suddenly said, glancing down at the stage with narrowed eyes. Then they grew wide in relaxation. "Oh, no no no no."

"W-what is something wrong?" Mineta asked, fearful of what the answer was. It wasn't like there was anymore.

"...Ah crap." Galva said bluntly as his face palmed, leaving his classmates confused by all else. "She has that look in her eye."

"What look?" Katsumi asked, more curious about what the Dragoness was planning. As for her brother, he looked alive at the very least, so he wasn't a priority. Plus he deserved it.

"That kind that makes her take on stupid challenges." Galva sighed out before harshly slamming his head into the barrier bar, much to the shock of his class. "Gosh, damn it."

(Sports Festival, Stadium)

"What a wonderful performance from our first years!" Midnight announced as she stepped onto the stage. Aporuching Taya, she couldn't help giving the silent girl a wide smile as she held her mic up. "So what do you have to say for winning your first Sports Festival?"

"...I'm not done yet." Taya said suddenly.

"Umm...what?" Midnight asked, a hint of confusion on her face.

"I'm not done. Not until I fight the strongest one here!" Taya declared, her eyes never changing from the battle while a fierce grin came across her face. She looked up at the stands in search. "RUKIDO SEITO! GET DOWN HERE NOW AND FACE ME!"

Battle was the only thing on her mind right now.

(Sports Festival, Private Room)

"Dang it all." Rukido sighed, unable to help himself from face palming.

"Why does Miss-Night want to hurt you?" Eri asked, concerned. Fear was filling her until Rukido patted her head.

"Don't you worry. She just likes to prove herself. We'll still be good friends after this." Rukido said, before approaching the window. He picked up his hoverboard and opened it slightly. "I'll be back in a few. Ship will be here for you."

"O-okay." Eri said with a downcast expression.

"...Hey, as soon as I get done, we're gonna get some more Candy Apples." Rukido said, instantly brightening up the girl's world. "Better yet, I'll see if one of my classmates can make you an Apple Pie."

"Really?" Eri asked happily. Rukido smiled and stepped away from the window and knelt down to the girl with his pinky out. "Huh?"

"This here is a pinky promise. You take your smallest finger and twist around my own, then we shake them together." Rukido explained as the girl slowly did as he said. "This means I give you my word on trying to do something within all my power. So once we get done here, it'll be an Apple Pie just for you. I promise."

Eri could only smile at his word as they shook fingers. Letting go, Rukido made his window and gave the young girl a smile.

Then he jumped.

(Sports Festival, Stadium)

"Nightingale, you can't just ask for another fight. Especially when the events are all over." Midnight explained calmly, hoping to defuse this fast.

"No way, not until I get my fight." Taya stubbornly argued. The Pro Heroine could only sigh at this, trying to remain patient with the Dragoness.

"Listen kid." Midnight began before the sound of cheering came out of nowhere. "What the?"

Taya however looked up with glee at seeing Rukido descend to the stage with a smile on his face. Jumping off the hoverboard, he waved awkwardly at the two. "Um...hi?"

"What the-no!" Midnight exclaimed, pointing at Rukido. "This isn't even an official match! Much less approved! Go back to your seat now!"

"I think the audience disagrees." The Omnitrix bearing said, glancing at the cheering crowd with a hint of annoyance. He could get if they were a warrior race that had years of tradition built off since they're beginning and were fighters themselves. But they weren't, they just liked seeing people punch one another. "If it helps, I still hate this whole event."

"Noted, but you know I can't just allow this." Midnight said.

"...Hey Nezu!" Rukido called out suddenly, making them jump back. "Mind if we just get this going? Taya's looking restless overthere."

In her defense, she had a long day.

"I see no reason not to!" Nezu said over the intercom, much to the...well there was no surprise. The teachers knew him at this point, it was just being mentally prepared for it. "This will not count as an official match however. Taya Nighting will remain the winner of the Sports Festival due to Mr. Seito's lack of involvement with it."

"...Alright then." Midnight breathed in before releasing it. She then raised her mic up and waved her hand around. "AND NOW FOR A RANDOM ADD ON TO THE SPORTS FESTIVAL! TAYA NIGHTINGALE VS. RUKIDO SEITO!"

The crowd only cheered while the two classmates stared at one another. Taya raised her claws up as her aura appeared around her. Rukido however crossed his arms and yawned, angering her greatly.

"What the hell are you waiting for? Transform!" Taya yelled.

"Make me." Rukido said bluntly, increasing her anger greatly.

"Erm...LET THE MATCH BEGIN!" Midnight announced while jumping off the stage. As soon as those words were said, Taya's aura grew far more violent before sinking into her skin.

"If you won't use your watch, then I'll force you!" Taya decided.

Rukido merely yawned.

With a roar, she dashed at Rukido while swinging her claws wildly. The Dragoness kept slashing at the quirkless student, but found herself missing completely as he dodged around her with ease. His face was growing to be a lot more hitable with every miss. Taya lunged at him in hope to grab him only for him to dash underneath her. Landing on her feet, she whirled around to attack only to find a pair of hands clapping in front of her face.

"Epp!" Taya squealed at the action before she tripped over her own tail and fell on her back. Her aura vanished altogether while her eyes reverted to normal.

Rukido brought his hands down and looked at the Dragoness before he sat down in front of her. "Second-Wind gone?"

"Yeah...I think so..." Taya admitted, breathing heavily and allowing her muscles to rest. "I...bloody hell this hurts..."

"Yeah, that's the adrenaline wearing off." Rukido commented.

"Still...you couldn't transform?" Taya asked, almost hurt.

"Oh don't you start that now. Seriously? Fighting without allowing yourself to get healed up? What the heck did you think was gonna happen?" Rukido scolded lightly while the Dragoness winced. "But, you made it at least. Plus if you were in better shape, I would've transformed."

"Really?" Taya asked hopefully.

"Yup. I know I'm pretty amazing as myself, but even I got my limits." Rukido said with a deadpan expression.

"Then...can we have a real match?" Taya asked. She saw his narrowed glare and quickly corrected herself. "A-after I rest! I'm...pretty much done today."

"Sure. Promise." Rukido agreed with a simple shrug. "And that as they say, is-"

"BOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"KEEP FIGHTING YOU LITTLE PUNKS!"

"I GOT MONEY ON THIS FIGHT!"

"GIVE US A REAL FIGHT ALREADY!"

"DON'T END IT OFF LIKE THAT!"

The crowd were far from happy to see that the fight had ended like that. After the past few fights, they were hoping the additional fight would be the best one yet. Especially with how Rukido was able to change form and how Taya performed in previous fights. Now they were raging about it.

This only served to annoy The Omnitrix bearer greatly. "One moment please."

Midnight stepped back on the stage, ready to try and calm the people down only to feel her hand grabbed by Rukido. "Hey, kinda in the middle of something here."

"Sorry, I'm gonna need to borrow that." Rukido said before taking the mic. Stepping up to the edge, he raised the mic up and spoke. "What the hell is wrong with you people!"

Needless to say the crowd gasped at them being called out all of sudden.

"We're not your source of entertainment, we're Heroes in training! The whole point of this event is to make sure we get noticed by other Heroes and to gauge where we stand right now!" Rukido announced, making sure he was well and heard. "Every single person that took part of this stupid event gave it there all! To show the world who the next Heroes are! Yet you have the nerve to complain about not how the fight went? Nice to know that Heroes are nothing more than your line to entertain yourselves at our expense."

Many in the crowd shifted uncomfortably at the words, looking away from Heroes sitting amongst them. Even if they weren't looking back, they didn't know how to look at the people who's entire job was to protect them. It was true that they had often looked towards them for fun and enjoyment, but they never saw them as just that...or did they? At the same time, there were still plenty that wanted to see the fight go on if their glares and booing were anything to go off of. Something that Rukido was more than willing to give them.

"But hey, if you wanna have a fight so bad, then how about you get down here and challenge me yourselves!" Rukido said before activating the Omnitrix. He slammed down upon it and was engulfed by the green flash before flames erupted around the arena.

The crowd could only look on with bugged out eyes as the flames soared around and formed a tornado that shot up well past the stadium and into the air. Heat radiated from it and made many of them sweat just staring at it. The inferno tornado however was swirling perfectly around, completely under control.

Then they slowly faded away as a figure could be seen coming in clear. The being was that of a fire based transformation, composed of a burning fire while covered by dark red or brown rocks. His head was closer in resemblance of a normal fire while molten rocks helped form a face for all to see. Flames erupted from his shoulders as if they were volcanos.

"Heatblast." The transformed student said calmly into the mic, making them all flinch. His mic hand was currently just pure rock, the fire cooled down to the lowest degree to prevent it from melting. Raising his free hand up however he made a ball of fire and glanced at them with a smirk. "Now, who's first?"

Everything was silent. Heatblast waited a moment before the fireball dissolved back into his hand. He descended to the ground and transformed back into Rukido, ignoring the shock stares from Midnight and Taya.

"That's what I thought." Rukido said, giving Midnight the mic back. Walking over to Taya, he bent down and placed her arm over his neck before lifting her up. "Come on now, Recovery Girl is waiting."

"That...was incredible." Taya admitted in awe. Though she grew concerned right after. "Though I doubted you needed to go so far to challenge them. They may see it as a threat."

"They can see it however they want." Rukido scoffed as he led them to the main hall. "They interrupted my catchphrase."

Taya could only chuckle at that before wincing in pain. They walked through the hall for a few minutes before they were suddenly caught off guard by a girl running up to them.

She had fair skin, standing just at 5'4 with periwinkle blue hair that went down to her knees and curious royal blue eyes. She was also wearing a U.A. uniform as well. "You guys are so cool! Hey, how did you transform? Can you breathe flames? OH oh! How about a Dragon, can you transform into one like Ryuko can? Do you have scales everywhere on your body?"

Rukido could only quirk an eyebrow at the girl while Taya could only look at her with wide eyes. Her face was flushing badly at the sight of the beauty before her. Even her scales were slowly glowing pink within, something that didn't go unnoticed.

"Ohh! Your blush affects who your scales look! That's so cute!" The Periwinkle Girl said, beaming brightly. She then hit her head and laughed. "Sorry, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Nejire Hado, from Class 3-A! It's nice to meet you!"

"It's nice to meet you as well. Rukido Seito, please call me Rukido." The Omnitrix Wielders introduced himself before lifting up his blushing classmate. "And this is Taya Nightingale."

"I-it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Taya stuttered out, unable to stop the heat building up to her face.

"So about those questions?" Nejire asked, curiosity getting the better of her. Rukido looked like he was gonna say something before he stopped short. He glanced down at Taya with a blank expression before he gained a smug smirk.

"Actually would you mind bringing my friend to Recovery Girl?" Rukido asked innocently.

"What?!" Taya exclaimed, her embarrassment only increasing.

"I have to go make sure someone is okay. They don't like being left alone for too long." Rukido said. Taya looked ready to snap only to suddenly find herself held up now by Nejire.

"Of course I will! I'll make sure she's a-okay!" The kind and talkative girl said. Rukido quickly separated himself away from them as Taya was blushing worse than ever before with how close she was to Nejire. "Don't worry, I'll stay with you the entire time. I still have questions after all."

"F-feel free to ask as ma-many as you w-w-want." Taya barely managed to get out. As she was led away, she glanced back to see Rukido giving her a thumbs up, fueling her embarrassment.

'Ha. Still awesome.' Rukido complimented himself with a smile before he walked away. "And that as they say, is that."

Ha! No interruptions!

Meanwhile, Taya was trying to distract herself with thoughts to make sure she didn't make a fool out of herself with the senior beauty. 'I really overdid...I hope my father is proud of me.'

(England, London)

"And that concludes the Sports Festival! We'll distribute the medals for our top three later on! Stay tuned!" Came the words of Midnight from a wide TV screen. Watching it was a fair skinned man with long dark brown hair reaching his neck, tied into a ponytail. His amber eyes glazed upon the screen as he rubbed his rough beard with a thoughtful expression.

"This was brilliant. Simply brilliant." The man said. He was wearing a red flannel shirt, with black jeans and boots. "You've really come far Taya. I'll be sure to call you as soon as I can, my child."

"Sir." Glancing up, the man glanced up to see two men before him. They were dressed in black steeled armor, their visors glowing red while their gauntlets were dressed in technology, clearly otherworldly. "The table has gathered as ordered."

"Good, I shall be there momentarily. After I get dressed. You are dismissed." The two guards bowed briefly before exiting the room. The man let out a sigh before he looked back at the tv with a smile, watching a repeat of Taya's previous battles. "You aren't ready to join us. Nor shall I force you, this is your dream Taya. However I will always hold a place open should things become dire."

His name was William Nightingale. Taya Nightingale's father and the Forever King of the Forever Knights.

(Chapter End)

A/N: Dun, dun DUNNNN! Well this has been a fun chapter hasn't it? So, let's get right into it.

The Sports Festival is finally done. Thank goodness, now I can get the story moving along into the next arc...after a few extra chapters. Won't be too long, I promise...except maybe the next one. That's meant to be the aftermath of the Sports Festival with reactions all around. Then we head into a much more...interesting subject.

The last bit with Rukido, was a fun add on to not only call out a more than likely ungrateful crowd and to introduce Heatblast as well. Taya's upgrade was meant to be a lot more feral and likely to call out even the strongest of people to face her. Kinda like giving in to instincts. Sadly the fight between Taya and Rukido will have to wait for a while.

I also just decided to give Katsuki some of his future moves. He's older than canon and would have thought of them by now. Too bad it wasn't enough. Oh the humanity...well moving on.

Next up we have our Forever King for the Forever Knights, Willian Nightingale. I will say this right away just in case it wasn't clear, Taya is unaware of the Forever Knights entirely. As far as she's concerned, her father is a busy man. As for Willian, he isn't the typical, not at home, neglectful type that has hidden motives for their children. You'll see more when he does eventually return.

Though we have a few ships in the making, so we have that at least.

That should be all, so I hope you enjoyed it, that you return and have a great day overall. Until next time.

Reviews-Oh nothing new. Hmmm...well good-day.
