A Warlords Promise

(Vilgaxia, Docking Bay)

It was as beautiful as he left it.

From the wavering lights that soared above to the large mountains, ripped apart from wars upon his land. Wars he had fought through with the most feared force in the Universe. Now they were a forgotten relic, a planet hunted down as though they were common criminals. It would not remain this way. Not while he still drew breath.

The ship had long since landed, having a recognized code of the Planet's records. Upon stepping out however, they were greeted with weapons pointed at them. Oddly enough, Vilgax took pride in their choice. Rather than blow the enemy out of the sky or threaten them to leave, they armed up and prepared themselves to either take them out or take prisoners.

'Seems like they haven't gotten soft.' Vilgax thought, allowing a smile from behind his mask. A soldier stepped up to him and Psyphon, his weapon trained on him the entire time. 'Though it seems like they've forgotten some basic safety rules. I'll be sure to look over what training they place themselves through first.'

"You are in possession of an old Ship Security Code. You are to state your name, your explanation for commandeering this vessel and your reason for coming here!" The Chimera Sui Generis ordered firmly. This however seemed to anger Physphon, making him step forward with his claws brandished.

"You ignorant fool! You speak before the Conqueror of Worlds! The Despot of Vilgaxia! The Dominator of the Universe! Lord Vilgax!" Psyphon said with pure and utter passion. The words had startled the guards, caught off guard by the declaration.

"That...that is a lie!" The Soldier declared, almost disgusted. "Lord Vilgax has been dead for years now! For your crimes in using his name, you shall face the court!"

Psyphon's eyes turned red in anger as he prepared to attack, until Vilgax stepped forward. He easily towered over the Soldier, being seen by the others and causing a wave of unease before them.

"It is only because of my people and rumors of my demise that I will allow you to speak to me in such a way." Vilgax stated calmly, his tone holding a hint of withholdment. He then turned away from the guard and took note of the Civvilian's gathering around the scene. "Know this now, I am Vilgax. The rightful ruler of this world and your chosen champion! I demand to seek those in charge of my absence."

"W-we will not be intimidated by a man who dares steal our Lord's name!" The Soldier said, sweat dripping off his head, but holding his ground before the behemoth.

"...Interesting. Tell me your name, boy." Vilgax demanded.

Hesitant at first, the soldier managed to spill. "Private Mervix!"

"Private Mervix. Know this now, it is only because of your respect towards myself and the fact you are one of my own that I will not end you. Otherwise..." Vilgax's eyes glowed red as several beams shot out of his eyes. The men had no time to react as their weapons were quickly vaporized by the beams, leaving no way to defend themselves. "You would have already been dead."

Mervix could only sweat profoundly at the attack, fear of the being before him.

"Does the council room remain where it always has been?" Vilgax asked.

"Y-yes! The Inner Sanctum remains intact, sir!" Answering someone had never been as easy as this for Mervix. Least when it came to those who were not part of the Council.

"Good. Order them to gather, along with their General. I desire my meeting." Vilgax said.

Mervix could only nod, finding himself bowing before him with many other following suit. Vilgax raised his hand for them to stop themselves before he walked ahead, Psyphon following behind him.

"An excellent display of domination sir. All without injuring any of them!" Psyphon praised as he usually did. Vilgax did not care. Only two things mattered right now. Reclaiming his rightful place as ruler and to meet the daughter, he missed for over 200 years.

It was going to be an interesting day.

(Vilgaxia, Inner Sanctum) (Later)

Vilgax and Psyphon walked towards the meeting room, two guards guiding them as part of policy. If Vilgax was grateful for one thing, it was that this council has kept his planet alive. The streets were filled with life, children playing around and people taking part in old activities. However there was silence for whenever he was seen, no doubt from curiosity and fear.

He was no longer the same Chimera Sui Generis that he was back then. He was modified to the point where he is practically a cyborg now and there would be no going back. The changes wouldn't end here, not if he was to claim the Omnitrix and renew his conquest over the Universe. He could only make himself grow from this point out, leaving no room for weakness to complete his quest.

Part one of that step was retaking his place as ruler of Vilgaxia.

Upon entering the Inner Sanctum, the guards took their place by the doors leaving Vilgax and Psyphon stepped onto the center. Above them were a wide arrange of chairs, most of which emptied outside of three seats.

Golek, Blocaio and Kalik. Old men, who had once served as his advisors for Viligaxia and kept his planet in shape while he went off to battle. Golek was part of the original council, focusing more on keeping the people safe by providing the technology needed. Blocaio took more violent methods, more than likely giving into his warrior side for war. Finally Kalik, someone who has tried and failed to turn Vilgax into an obedient ruler to him as he had done to the previous one. He at least handled both sides well, but that was all.

"You stand before the Council of Vilgaxia!" Kalik immediately took charge, glaring down at Vilgax. "Vilgax, former ruler of Vilgaxia, you are to be trailed for your abandonment of our world!"

"HOLD YOUR TONGUE, SNAKE!" Psyphon exclaimed, eyes gleaming red with hatred. "LORD VILGAX WOULD NEVER LEAVE HIS PEOPLE!"

"Then how do you explain his disappearance! 200 years with no one to lead us! Our armies have fallen, our worlds liberated from us. We became an embarrassment to the Universe because of his absence!" Kalik kept focus on the issue, no matter. Goleck sighed in annoyance while Blocaio grumbled in annoyance. "Not to forget your so-called mission in finding Vilgax. The truth is that he's left us all in the wind in search of a pipe dream rumor!"

"A rumor that you should be more than aware is true!" Psyphon pointed out, a growl escaping him. They bickered back and forth, Vilgax gazing uncaringly away in favor of the door. His ears caught the sound of footsteps approaching the door aggressively and prepared himself for what was coming.

In came another Chimera Sui Generis, looking similar to himself, yet in female form. She wore dark blue, metallic armor over her black skin tight suit with black combat boots and gloves to match. Strapped to her back was a great, double-edged sword, it's handle crafted in cross shape.

Then her furious eyes laid upon him and actually made her freeze for a moment.

"...Vexis..." This was his daughter, he could tell.

She was silent for a moment before reaching for her blade and ripped it out, gaining a bright red glow to it. Not a second she thrusted it forward at him with the full intent to kill him. However he easily avoided it, not bothering to counter back against his own blood.

"You dare take his name!" Vexis snapped, clearly outraged. She didn't believe him, not that he was surprised. "You will pay in your blood!"

She was also as fiery as her mother. Their genes worked strongly together.

She attempted to attack again, but was stopped by the voice of Goleck. "General Vexis, there is to be no in fighting within the Council Chambers!" The moment he spoke, Vexis halted her attack and stood across Vilgax. Depsite her harsh and murderous glare, the Warlord remained unphased by it. Goleck wasn't about to risk it however and continued. "General Vexis, I've known of Vilgax my entire life and despite his change in appearance this is truly him. This is truly your father."

Vexis looked at him with wide eyes before turning to her father. He watched as she went through several emotions. Anger, shock, confusion, before it finally settled on embarrassment in making her bow. "Forgive me father! Many have tried to use your name in the past. All of which have been punished."

"Raise your head, my child. None of my blood should bow." Vilgax couldn't stop it from sounding like an order, but it got the desired effect. She stood up proudly, as though she was a soldier, but she was much more than that. "There is much to discuss, my daughter, however other matters must be dealt with."

"What of them, father?" Vexis asked, respectfully.

"His punishment for the abandonment of our world!" Kalik wouldn't allow Vilgax to speak.

"Abandonment?! What lies are you spreading, councilman!" Vexis demanded.

"The proof lies before us. Your father's 'death' was merely faked!" Kalik declared as Goleck spoke.

"What proof do we have of this? Our Ruler has fought tooth and nail to give us our power. Nevermind the sacrifices he's made for our home alone." Goleck defended.

"Are you protecting this traitor?" Kalik snarled.

"I'm merely suggesting we look into all the facts before making a rash decision." Goleck said, his tone kept firm.

Kalik growled in annoyance at this before snapping his head over to Blocaio. "And you! What do you have to say about this!"

"...Let's hear out Lord Vilgax before all else. I would rather at least know his story before I make a choice." Blocaio said after some thought.

"A wise choice, old friend." Goleck praised before turning to face Vilgax. "Please, tell us your tale."

"If that's what I must do." Vilgax wasn't going to argue. He would rather this go on without so much a fight. "On my journey for the Omnitrix, me and my crew were ambushed by Plumbers. While we managed to escape, the hull of our ship was damaged beyond repair. I myself have escaped, but due to the damages, my escape pod barely held itself together before entering the planet known as Earth's atmosphere. Psyphon himself informed me I was found in a government faculty that didn't belong to the Plumbers."

"Do you expect us to believe an obvious lie!" Kalik said, completely unconvinced.

"You talk as though your opinion matters before Vilgax." Psyphon snarked back.

"Enough!" Biocaio exclaimed, getting them both to calm down. His critical gaze laid upon Vilgax before a smirk came across face. "I say he proves himself in battle. If his strength is as great as it was in the past, then it will come to trouble for him to take his position back."

"Have you lost all reason! You would take the chance with this traitor!" Kalik yelled, in complete disbelief. He expected something far harsher from the former General.

"It matters not if his story holds true or not, I know Vilgax would never, ever allow his empire to fall without reason. That's enough for me to give him the chance to prove himself worthy as our ruler as he did once more." Biocaio explained as if it were that simple. Between warriors like himself and Vilgax, it was. "I never said it would be easy. He must face the Zelnex and show his strength before all."

"Hmmm, it has been a while since we made use of it. I suppose it would give the people a good show." Goleck said thoughtfully.

"I can't believe we're going through with this." Kalik said, knowing full well he was outvoted. "Fine, Vilgax shall face the Zelnex in combat and defeat it should he want it."

"But none have been able to defeat the Zelnex!" Vexis argued, stepping forward. "It has taken the lives of many of those who challenged it! It was the reason why we had to close down the arena to begin with!" She would have said more, but a hand landed on her shoulder. Meeting the gaze of her father, confused her greatly. "Father?"

"Worry not, my child." Vilgax said, uncharacteristically soft. His eyes then grew fierce as he turned his gaze upon the council, making them all sweat. "I shall take this challenge in order to earn back my position. As it was in days of old."

"It is decided then." Goleck said calmly, his hand waved. The guards moved next to Vilgax, sweating upon realizing how they compared to him. "The battle will begin by the next hour. I wish you luck, old friend."

Vilgax merely huffed as he was led out the room, leaving Vexis to gaze upon him in worry. At least that was until Psyphon spoke.

"I must admit my Lord is being quite humble about this." Psyphon admitted, earning a look from his Lord's Daughter.

"What do you mean?" Vexis demanded.

"To put it simply my Lady, his first time conquering Vilgaxia led to him defeating the entire planet's army in single hand combat. No rest, no breaks, just pure and utter focus upon taking over the planet." Vexis found herself gulping at Psyphon's explanation. Not much was none out of Vilgax's take over outside he had done so, spilling as little blood as possible, but to know he had done it all single handedly was something to be terrified of. "For him this is wise in favor of the people. They must recognize Vilgax as their ruler, by their own choice. Not through fear. If not, then they will have to adjust."

One way or another, Vilgaxia would be his Lord's again. That much he was certain of.

(Vilgaxia, Arena)(Later)

Upon hearing news of Vilgax's return, many had rushed to the arena to see the former ruler in action. Some were there to see him for the first time, learning of his legends through schools. Others were there to see if the rumors surrounding Vilgax proved true, curious if they were looking at their former ruler taking the mantle once again.

All over the arena were the Citizens of the Vilgaxia, the seats cramped, but bearable for what was coming. Within one of the arena's booths were where the Council had sat from, Vexis and Psyphon sitting just below them. All of which have guards watching over them. In the center was Vilgax, waiting for the Zelnex to arrive.

Biocaio stepped forward to speak, tapping his cane down and earning silence in the arena. "Today we test Lord Vilgax's might to see if he is worthy of leading our people once more! He shall face the Zelnex with his own strength alone by his choice." The people mumbled amongst themselves about either the Zelnex and Vilgax, but that wasn't important. Action was. "Release the Zelnex!"

The floor underneath Vilgax suddenly split open, making him step back and ready himself. Open water was seen within, as a large figure was seen swimming within. Seconds later the water erupted as a large tentacle slammed into him, thrusting him into the arena wall. As the water cleared, they were terrified to see the Zelnext after so long.

It was a giant, bipedal creature, having four webbed legs and a tail with a fin, and two tentacles coming out of it's mouth, which act like two extra arms. It had blue eyes, golden teeth, six gills on it's necks, and it's upper part of its body is dark cyan, while the lower part is olive. It had easily towered over the stadium, letting out a shriek that echoed throughout the land.

"It's as frightening as ever." Goleck admitted, turning to Kalik with a frown. "I suppose you had something to do with it's attitude."

"Krakkens don't like it when their eggs are taken. Hard to believe it's the same small creature we bought so long ago." Kalik grinned as he watched his property shriek out, fighting the citizens. Even more so with Vilgax remaining unmoving from the wall. 'Kill that traitor! Here and now!' The Zelnex seemed to be glancing around, no doubt in favor of her eggs. However the sound of rumbling caught her attention and turned her head to the broken wall. Her head edged closer with a growl until it was suddenly punched back. "WHAT!"

"Look here, Vexis. An example of your father's power." Psyphon said with glee. Vexis watched as her father stood in front of the bleeding Krakken with nothing, but awe. Nearly everyone could feel the bloodlust that was being emitted from the Warlord, feeling fear for the first time in ages.

"Pathetic." Vilgax declared as the Zelnex attacked him with it's tentacles. He avoided them with ease before ripping one off within a single motion. It squealed in pain while the crowd found themselves cheering at the display. Without another word, Vilgax rushed forward and jumped at the Zelnex, dragging it straight down into the water below.

Everyone watched on in anticipation of who the victor would be. They didn't have to wait long as the head of the Zelnex came flying out, blood splattering throughout the air. Biocaio and Goleck had swithly avoided it, but Kalik was forced to be covered in it's creature's blood, fueling him with anger and horror. Vilgax came out not long after, unharmed and his bloodlust long gone.

"This Zelnex is dead. Is there any that wishes to challenge me for my rightful place as ruler once more?" Vilgax asked aloud, receiving nothing, but silence in return. Not that it wasn't expected after the display he put on. "Then it is settled. Vilgaxia is mine once more as it should be."

"Know this now. Our people will shine again across the stars and be feared by all. No one, not even the Plumbers will be able to stop my conquest. For my failure in the past, I promise you that Vilgaxia will never face the threats of others under my protection. That is my word to neve be broken again!" Vilgax announced for all to hear. It didn't take long for cheers to be heard right after, filling him with pride that his trust with the people wasn't lost.

"It seems like Lord Vilgax has won. As expected." Biocaio said casually, shocking his fellow councilman.

"You knew he would win?" Kalik asked, a scowl coming across his face as he wiped blood off it.

"Of course. My loyalty has been to Vilgaxia and thus Vilgax himself." Biocaio explained with a smirk. "I just suggested the best way of ending this without Lord Vilgax beating our army."

"Always a wiseman in disguise." Goleck chuckled in approval. Kalik however was far happy with and showed it by standing up, and stomping off. "Oh, his pet did die, didn't it."

"It was an eyesore anyway." Biocaio said uncaringly.

Meanwhile Psyphon was cheering on his Master as he normally did while Vexis matched her eyes with her father. It was clear that there were going to be a lot of changes, but first and foremost they needed to speak.

(Vilgaxia, Vilgax's Stronghold)

Vilgax relaxed himself for the first time he had awakened, sitting down on the couch and taking up much of it's space. It was quite the comical sight for someone of his size to be taking up the entire sofa basically. He would make sure to fill in an order to make some accommodations to his home.

His home...a place he hadn't been in for years. His wife, bless her soul, was someone who could never replace should he try. He didn't allow time for himself to mourn, setting his focus on his home for the moment as Tex would have wanted. Even so, he couldn't stop the flatter in his being at the remembrance of her death.

"Father?" Vilgax looked up to see his daughter come into the room, her armor long since replaced in favor of a silk red robe. "Are you well?"

Despite his selfish desires for domination over the Universe, he would always have Vexis by his side now. His heir to the throne of Vilgaxia. "I am fine, Vexis. Merely lost in memories of the past."

"Of mother?" Vexis asked, curiosity etching from her voice.

"It comes naturally from being here." Vilgax confessed, sighing through his mask as he stood up. He approached her and brought his very surprised daughter into a hug. "Regardless I have a responsibility not only to this world, but to you as well. I have to learn of your life."

"It...will take some time." Vexis admitted.

"I have plenty of it." Vilgax said immediately after. However he knew he needed to focus on the mission at hand. He pulled himself out of the hug and glanced down at his daughter. "I will need your assistance when it comes to retrieving the Omnitrix."

"From the Plumber's Hero?" It was no secret who was being spoken of.

"Yes. He is a formidable foe, one that should not be underestimated." Vilgax stated grimly. He would not face Rukido Seito. Not yet at least. "I will need help in preparing our forces for battle and to increase my own strength if I am to face him."

"I see. Then we will act on your command then." Vexis said strictly, impressing him greatly.

"I have already acted." Vilgax said, confusing his daughter greatly. "I have been in contact with a former ally of mine. He resides on Earth as we speak, building up his own forces to join our own."

"An Earthling? What use do you have for one?" Vexis asked.

"This is no mere human. He's one that believes my conquest will bring true peace amongst the stars. Regardless of the bloodshed that must come from it." Vilgax explained, glancing out the window. "As we speak, he's making plans to enslave the Earth under my rule. The abilities gained on Earth have grown over the years and would be most useful in addition to my forces."

"Understood, father." Vexis said, taking the knowledge provided in stride. She was proud to be the daughter of Vilgax, for all his power and wisdom. "Though it must be difficult if Plumber forces are there, especially with Rukido Seito amongst them."

"Yes, it will take time and preparation. But he has my full trust in accomplishing my goals." Vilgax said, no doubt tracing his voice. He could tell his daughter wanted to learn more. Good. It meant that she was more than ready to join by his side, but he still had to increase his own strength. "For now, I must prepare my forces once more. We will leave within the week, but for now, I wish to learn more about my daughter."

He took joy in the childlike glee within Vexis' eyes. Conquering the Universe could wait for now, it was time to be a father.

(Earth)(U.A. University, Heights Alliance)

Back on Earth, Rukido was dealing with a challenge in the form of them discovering something he would have preferred to keep secret.

"I am so sorry, Seito." Momo apologized, while his classmates were either staring at him or trying to hold their laughter. "I had thought Ashido was looking to do it for herself."

"I'm all natural here, thank you very much!" Mina said, in between giggles. "Just like Rukido here!"

Rukido could only sigh as finished drying his natural black hair. With the exception of the small patch of white hair at the very front of his hair was. Mina had convinced Momo to create some dye remover and plunged the entire thing on his head believing his hair was dyed.

To be fair she was right.

"Hmmm, this will help pass off Eri as your daughter. Though not so much for me." Shoko said after some thought.

"Why is your hair dyed, Seito?" Iida asked, mostly out of curiosity.

"Because people would assume that this is dyed to begin with and I heard that people with my kind of hair would think I'm a delinquent." Rukido confessed with a hint of annoyance. He hadn't been to earth in years and didn't want to deal with stereotypes. 'I don't know why my head is like this, but it's normal!'

"If it helps, it looks cool." Jiro offered, earning a look from him. She found her cheeks getting warm at her gaze. "W-well it does."

"Yeah man! It looks iconic!" Kirishima said while rubbing his spiky hair. "Maybe I should go for a look like that. I got natural black hair after all."

"Papa looks cool!" Eri decided while giving him a beaming smile.

"...I guess I can keep it." Rukido said after some thought, unable to help the smile come across his face. "Heh. I do look like a regular Jason Todd."

"...Who?" Mina asked with a head tilt. The haunted look he gave them would forever be embedded into their minds.

"Jason Todd? The Red Hood?" Nothing. "From the Bat-Family of Gotham?" Still nothing. "DC?"

"Isn't that that capital of the US?" Izuku asked.

"...Spiderman, Batman, Ironman, Superman, Wonder Woman...Captain America?" He sounded so hopeful.

"Sorry dude, never heard of them." Jiro said, more confused than she was feeling bad.

"...Oh your childhoods." Rukido said, a depressed cloud over head. However it soon faded as a determined glare came across his face. "I vow to make sure the world knows of the Superheroes of old!"

Even if they were fictional characters

"What's gotten into him?" Sato muttered.

"Whoever knows when it comes to him." Mezo muttered back.

A yawn interrupted everyone, making the turn to see a sleepy Eri with a dazed expression. "I'm...tired."

"Hey. Let's get you up to bed then." Rukido said, lifting the girl up in his arms. She instantly wrapped her little arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. Sleep came immediately after as she let out soft snoring later. "Party's over now. Gotta make sure this one rests properly. Night everyone."

They all waved as Rukido carried Eri back up to their room. Upon entering, he gently laid her on his bed before pulling the cover over her. She immediately snuggled herself up safely in the bed while Rukido settled for the chair. Ship came in a moment later, joining Eri and snuggling up by the bedside, leaving Rukido to smile at the sight.

'I got my work cut out for me, don't I?' Rukido thought while turning his gaze out into the night sky. 'At least things won't be dull anytime soon...now to plan out a proper movie night...and a comic night...and a cartoon night. That is a must when it comes to Eri.'

He cared, that's all.

(Chapter End)

A/N: And we're done here! So sorry for the wait, some RL stuff kept me occupied for some time and by the time I was done with it, I just had nothing left to give. Well I did, but I wasn't gonna take the risk. But hey, as I write this the worst I got is a sore body.

Right, well, explanations. I decided to make Vilgax as he actually is. He is oddly enough a beloved leader who treats his people with respect despite the fact he conquered them. Granted they really only show this once when Zs'skayr had invaded his planet, but I decided to keep that. It was also why I didn't have Vilgax just destroy everyone that stood in his way. Yes it's in his nature, but not when it comes for his people for the most. Which is why the worst he had to do was just earn it back. If they made it difficult for him, then he would just force his way into power.

Oh and the Zelnex was meant to be a Krakken from the OG series of Ben 10. It's really just a random title I chose to give it.

As for Vilgax's 'ally' on Earth, well I'll say this. They'll appear soon enough.

Well that should be all, so I hope you've enjoyed, that you return for more and above all else, that you have a great day. Until next we meet.

Reviews

Guest: Wasn't it already explained why Nemetrix aliens aren't in the Omnitrix, because they lack sapience. You saw what happened to Khyber when Skurd abandoned him. He lost full control.

And while Whampire is probably Ben's most predatory alien, the first time he transformed he almost instantly tried to drain Hobble before coming to his senses.

I'm just trying to point out the flaws of having Predatory aliens in a device that was originally created for Peace.

Answer: Yeah, I see your point. I answered this thinking back to Wildmutt however given how he is the most animal-like there and I just associated the Nemetrix Aliens more to that.

Messiah of authors: Rukido Why must you keep giving me the diabetes? With eri? Lol but this was a nice chapter it was very sweet nice. But now just begs the question will we be introduced to the other children? I can wait I'm just curious. Anyway keep up the awesome work!

Answer: Well I'm glad you like it. As for the other children, I do have to careful on how I introduce them

Ushindi: Awesome chapter! Rukido adopting Eri is suprising and very sweet and cute, but him adopting Shoko I wasn't expecting that and it was shocking, but I do love crazy and odd twist like you and it actually works, Shoko would definitely beuch happier than Shot was in canon, doesn't have to worry about Endeavor. And yeah, Endeavor deserve to be roasted.

1. Which aliens from Ben 10 would match and help Class 1A's quirk?

2. What if Izuku met Villain Deku? What would their reaction and conversation be like?

3. If Katsuki was actually expelled from UA, would he then start becoming a villain?

Answer: Well I'm glad you like it, I know I went a bit overboard on it, but at the same time I never did anything for less.

1: it depends on what they actually need help with. Between Fighting Styles, Techniques and Supermoves, any alien could help them. You'll just have to wait and see.

2: Something among the lines of pointing and probably just talking with caution really.

3: No. While I don't like him, it doesn't change the fact that his main goal over all is to become a Hero over a Villain.

Rowlets and Oshawotts: Rukeido went up 5 tiers for the talk with Endeavor for me also Galva is best wingman I guess we doing double pair for Deku

Answer: Yup! He has his hands full...even more so in the future.
