Flaming Ignorance

(U.A University, Rising Heights)(Living Room)(Next Day)

Class 1-A had finished another day of class, enjoying their time off from Aizawa's harsh lessons. Of course many of them were deciding on who to intern under currently, some finding it hard while others decided they didn't care too much about it. For one Izuku Midoirya, he was currently stuck.

All Might had let him know that Gran Torino was his old master before he became a pro and would help him in controlling One for All. He tried telling him about his progress, but All Might had cut off the call, sounding rather frightful for some reason. If it was his only choice then it would have been a no brainer. However there was also the Rabbit Hero: Mirko to think about as well. She was well known for her fighting above all else, her Quirk being fully suitable for Hand to Hand Combat. He needed a real way to fight, not throwing his fist at random.

The question was who to pick.

"Is something on your mind, Midoriya?" Izuku glanced up to see Iida and Uraraka in front of him.

"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just thinking of who to pick for internships." Izuku confessed while letting out a chuckle. Not a lie, he just didn't want any attention for his choices...namely from Mineta or Kaminari. "I'm really trying to think about which one to go with, but both of them are great picks from what I know."

"I see. I can understand why you're thinking so hard about it." Iida said thoughtfully.

"I guess it doesn't matter if it's Two or Ten Thousand, it's still a difficult choice." Uraraka said with a giggle. "As for me, I think I'm gonna go with Gunhead."

"Huh? I thought you would've gone with someone like Space Hero: 13." Izuku said, confused.

"Well I thought about it for a while and thought that I should learn how to fight. It would be pretty useful if I ever get into a situation when I have to get my hands dirty." Uraraka said with a small giggle. "After all, I can't always rely on someone else to do the job, can I?"

"Inspiring words, Ochako!" Iida praised, making them both smile. He had seemingly come out of his distracted thoughts and was back to his old self now. "As for me, I will be going with a sidekick of my brother. The Normal Hero: Manual. I believe he can show me how to properly act while in the midst of a crisis or villain attack. Not to mention, his Water Quirk should provide me with training against projectile based Quirks."

"You think things through all the way as usual Iida." Uraraka complemented.

"Of course! As a Hero, I must plan ahead for anything possible within my power. If not...then I'll find another way." Iida said proudly.

'Maybe I didn't need to worry after all...at least, I hope I don't.' Izuku thought until he was taken out of his thoughts.

"So who'd you get anyway?" Uraraka asked curiously.

"Well-" Izuku was cut by a loud laughter. They all turned their heads to see Rukido picking up a giggling Eri from behind the couch.

"No fair! No fair!" Eri "complained" as she was assaulted by tickles of all things.

"No such thing as a fair when it comes to hide and seek!" Rukido countered, laughing to himself. He finally stopped his attack and allowed the girl to breath, sitting themselves down on the couch. "So you had fun?"

"Yeah!" Eri replied cheerfully.

"Seito-San!" Iida called out that they joined the two. Uraraka was instantly caught in the cuteness wave that was Eri while the other two were faring better. "How are Eri and yourself doing on this fine day!"

"Pretty good, just finishing up a little game." Rukido said while Eri plopped down on his lap.

"Hey, who are you going for during the Internships?" Uraraka asked curiously.

"Hmm? Oh right, that thing. I completely forgot." Rukido said, sounding as though he didn't care at all.

'How do you forget something that important?!' The trio thought.

"Hmmm...nah, I don't think I'll go for any of them. I'd rather just spend the week with Eri." Rukido said with a shrug. While the three of them were surprised by his answer, Eri on the other hand was ecstatic.

"But the internships are very important to our grade!" Iida pointed out.

"Are they? Man the standards have dropped for schools haven't they." Rukido said with a sigh. "Regardless I refuse to be caught up in being someone else's tool."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Uraraka asked. However Rukido only sat up while carrying Eri.

"How about we get that snack? I think you deserve it for hiding from me so well." Rukido said while leading her into the kitchen.

"Hey!" Uraraka called out, but Rukido was already digging through the fridge. "What was that about?"

"He's only being cautious, that's all." They turned to see Momo, coming down with Jiro and Galva. Momo gave her friends a small smile as she continued. "He was the top player and a lot of people would want him for it."

"Isn't that a good thing though? I mean, he must have gotten some of the top pro's to go along with him." Uraraka said, confused.

"I had thought the same thing, but Jiro and Galva convinced me otherwise." Momo said while Jiro went over to Rukido and Eri like an auto-pilot. "While it is true we did well, many of those internships are looking more at our Quirk than ourselves."

"What? That's crazy." Izuku muttered in disbelief. "They're Heroes after all."

"Believe me when I say I don't like to admit it, but statistics don't lie." Galva said with a head shake and a frown. It was so odd and forein on his face that it felt so off. "The reality is that there's plenty of Heroes out there who are just in it for fame and fortune."

"And we would be their tickets for going up in the ranking system if they were allowed to say they were the ones to train powerful." Momo added on with a sigh. "There are not as many honorable Heroes out there. Even those amongst the top are quite firm on taking those same chances."

That had gotten them down at the information. It wasn't a secret that Heroes had fought for a variety of different reasons. Whether those reasons are good or bad was something no one could know. It was so easy to tell a bold faced lie nowadays with the public caring more about the power than the person. It may have been how so many had gotten away with certain actions they had made.

"Not to mention the amount that Rukido got as well." Galva said as they glanced over to the student in question. He was currently cutting apples with Jiro and both were feeding Eri one at a time, looking more than satisfied. "That dude has a lot of things under his belt. Even calling him a master of none doesn't feel right with that display he showed at the Sports Festival. To them he's the golden goose and his eggs are their key to getting more well known."

"I don't wish to agree, but I can't deny this truth." Iida said thoughtfully. His family had always warned him of unsavory types that made it into Hero Schools and passed. "It's sickening. Knowing that Heroics are used for such manors."

Izuku could only nod until he noticed the small downcast expression on Uraraka's face. However before he could say a word however it went away, being replaced with a solid glare.

"Guys. If I ever act like that, make sure to strike me down!" Uraraka declared dramatically.

"T-that shouldn't be necessary!" Momo said quickly.

"No way! I don't wanna risk becoming like any of those jerks!" Uraraka said suddenly.

"What are they talking about there?" Rukido asked only to see Jiro shake her head.

"Nothing important." Jiro said, popping an apple slice in her mouth. "So what are you planning to do if you're not doing an internship?"

"Stay on campus preferably. I'll more than likely have to talk to Mr. Nezu on the matter beforehand." Rukido admitted with a smile. "What about you? You said something about going with Deatharms, right?"

"Yeah, he gets on the field a lot and I figured it would be better to know what to do in certain situations." Jiro explained. "He's not my first choice, but out of all of them, he was the one that made a lot of sense for me at the moment."

"That makes sense." Rukido said sagely. He turned to feed Eri again only to see an apple slice handed to him. "Eh?"

"Here. Eat, Papa!" Eri said happily. Merely smiling at her, he accepted it and held a wide smile on his face.

"So good. Thanks Eri." Rukido hummed with Eri giggling a bit. Jiro was giggling as well, giving Rukido a teasing grin.

"Anything for Eri am I right?" Jiro asked while Rukido narrowed his eyes. He soon lifted an apple slice to Jiro's lips, confusing her for a few seconds. Once the realization came through, her face was covered by a full blown blush while her ear jacks went crazy. "E-EH! What are you doing!"

"Making sure you get the same tasty snack. Eri doesn't mind sharing with you, do you Eri?" Rukido asked.

"Nope! Jiro-San should have one!" Eri said, giving the musician a bright smile. Jiro blushed further at this before grimacing. Wordless she accepted the slice into her mouth without struggle. She ate the slice quickly while Eri was beaming. "Did you like it?"

"Y-yes, Eri." Jiro said, sending a small glare over at Rukido. However she managed to force it down, knowing there wasn't any ill intent with it. 'You're getting it next time, buster.'

All the while they remained to the stare their classmates were giving them, especially one grinning Galva and one blushing Momo. It was at this moment when Shoko joined them in the room.

"Hello everyone." Shoko said politely while making her way to the kitchen. "Eri. Father."

"Hello, big sis!" Eri exclaimed, making Shoko smile.

"Hey, Shoko. Need anything?" Rukido asked.

"Actually, I would like your assistance in choosing an internship." Shoko said, surprising him. She then suddenly looked bashful. "I...don't know who would be a fit for me."

"Why not someone who can help you with your flames? We didn't get the chance to cover much last time." It was true, sadly. Shoko was very much reserved about her fire side and Rukido wasn't gonna push it. "I don't know a lot of heroes though, so maybe Midoriya would be a better person to talk to."

"I suppose that's true." Shoko said, smiling at the feeling in her chest swell. 'I still don't know what this is, but Miroidya is the cause of it. I would like to know what he's doing to me, but father may be a better source of info.'

'Why do I have the feeling I'm gonna have to give the "talk" to someone?' Rukido thought with a hint of dread. Then he shook it off upon hearing the front door slam open.

Dread soon spread over Shoko as she heard the booming voicing echo throughout the building, "SHOOOOOKOOOOO!"

"Not him." Shoko muttered. They all watched how Endeavor stomped his way into the room. His flames were fully on as he held a glare with so much anger. Despite all that, Shoko gave him her usual cold glare. "Endeavor."

"Enough of this. This rebellious stage of your life ends here." Endeavor declared.

"Mind taking Eri away?" Rukido whispered to Jiro who nodded. She picked up the scared girl and made her way to the stairs while Rukido stepped in front of Endeavor. A wide smile came across his face. "Hey there, Fire Crotch! Remember me?"

Anger flashed in recognition. "You!"

"Yes, me. Now, is there something you want from my daughter?" Rukido asked, his smile never flattering.

"She isn't yours, she's mine!" Endeavor yelled.

"Can you not yell? Honestly you sound like a super obsessed lover who got dumped." Rukido said before turning to the others. "See this guy? He's already all over me. He must really want a date."

"Enough!" Endeavor snapped before setting his glare on Shoko. "This ends now. Clearly allowing you to attend U.A. was a mistake, they're standards have fallen greatly if these are the type of people they allow in."

"What? Better looking people, Quirkless, come on, I gotta know where I fall in line in your eyes." Rukido said.

"You aren't involved in this." Endeavor snarled.

"Actually, Enji. I am." Rukido said, watching the rage in the man's eye grow intensely. "The fact of the matter is, Shoko's my kid and the paperwork is already going through. No law stating we can't and with Shoko being an adult, there isn't a thing you can do about it."

"And you can't pull me out of school due to your recommendation in the first place." Shoko said.

Endeavor growled at him, clearly not happy with it. Judging by the look in Rukido's eyes, he wasn't joking. However he wasn't done. He was the Number Two Hero for a reason and planned on showing it. "Maybe I can't, but I can, prevent you from seeing your mother again."

Instantly the glare from Shoko turned fierce. "You wouldn't dare."

"All it would take is one call. It would be easy to explain if you're no longer with this family." Endeavor said, sounding far too smug.

"...Is that your best threat?" Rukido asked, surprising the man. "We currently have Shoko, someone who knows first hand how you treat this family and can easily make the report. Afterwards would come a case to investigate the whole family, including Shoko's Mother, on everything."

"As if anyone would dare take a case against me." Endeavor said, his anger coming back quickly.

"Mr. Nezu would and you should know by now that you don't mess with him." Rukido said.

"Is that what you're relying on? That damned rat to solve all your problems." Endeavor asked, raising a hand and striking flames near Rukido's head. While his classmates looked shocked, Shoko in anger, he wasn't phased at all. "Don't think some punk like you can threaten me."

"No. I'm making sure my kid has the best life possible and I'll do anything to ensure that." Rukido said. He may have adapted quickly to adopting Shoko and Eri, but it was natural at this point. "But you look like you wanna throw a fist at me. Do you want to fight or are you actually gonna be smart about this?"

'So that's how he wants to play it.' Endeavor thought. There was actually thought out in this, making him wonder exactly where Rukido stood in terms of understanding how society works. However there was a chance here and he planned on taking it. "You're right, I do. How about a proposal?"

'This should be good.' Rukido thought.

"Once I win, Shoko will return to me with no resistance and have no more resistance." Endeavor began, giving Shoko a stare for a moment before settling his glare upon Rukido. "And...you are to leave U.A. University and never try for a Hero School ever again."

Shocked horror spread across the classes' faces upon Endeavor's winning demand. Some of them outright glaring at him. Yet Rukido gave Endeavor a bored expression. 'If I didn't have a future with the plumbers then I would worry.' Instead of speaking to him, he turned his head over to Shoko. "Hey, do you even want this thing? I'll outright refuse unless you want something when I win."

'He's asking me?' Shoko thought before turning towards Endeavor. She gave him a thoughtful stare before speaking. "For starters, me and siblings will have visiting rights to our mother regardless of where she is. Nor can you move her out of a facility without our say so. Most of all, you can no longer bother me on your stupid idea."

"Hmmm...sounds good." Rukido turned back to Endeavor. "You should probably run this by Nezu first, I doubt he'll want to miss out."

Endeavor scoffed before waking out, slamming the door behind.

"...Well that was fun. Who wants pizza?" Rukido asked, making his way back to the kitchen.

"Y-YOUR GONNA FIGHT THE NUMBER 2 HERO!" Izuku exclaimed in fright.

"Yeah, and?" Rukido said, already going through the fridge. "He may be more experienced than me, but I already have several ways to beat him by just using my Aliens alone." As far as he was concerned, there wasn't any Human on Earth that could realistically beat. Maybe if he stuck to one Alien, but that would just be silly. "Now stop worrying too much. I wouldn't agree if I wasn't positive of winning."

Before that however he was gonna make a quick phone call to Hatsume.

(Mock City A-13) (Two Hours Later)

"I'm surprised he actually agreed to this." Rukido said, glancing around the fake city. "Actually I think I'm more surprised that they have so many fake cities. Feels like this space could go to something better." He then looked down while tapping his foot. "This cloak doesn't make me look edgy, does it? Oh wait, I'm by myself."

He was currently waiting in the center of the fake street for Endeavor to show up. As he said before, he was wearing a cloak, covering his body and made tailored black. As for why? Well that was a surprise for Fire Crotch.

Speaking of Fire Crotch, Endeavor was finally here, looking less than impressed so far. He stopped just across from Rukido with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. "You should know that going against me is suicide, correct?"

"If I was someone like Katsuki, then maybe. Unfortunately for you, I like taking the logical approach when it comes to fights." Rukido said before he casually walked up to Endeavor. The man made no move to attack yet. "So you're not gonna attack yet?"

"It's bad enough I'm fighting a student, more important a Quirkless one at that." Endeavor said, smirking internally. "It's laughable to think that you could stand a chance already. Try not to embarrass yourself and transform."

(Viewing Room)

Nezu, Aizawa, Midnight and Mic were all watching this encounter go down on the big screen through one of their many cameras. Once Nezu decided to grant Endeavor's request, he informed Aizawa. Who had apparently brought Midnight and Mic as well...more like they heard the call itself and wanted to see the result.

"Nezu, be honest with me." Aizawa said suddenly. "How does Seito fare against Endeavor?"

"I would like to hear your opinion first." Nezu said, keeping a smile on his face.

"...Experience wise, Endeavor should have the advantage." Aizawa said after some thought. While he personally didn't like the man, he had to admit that man was Number Two for a reason. "He not only has perfected his Quirk, but his style with it as well. Factoring all the types of Villains and Criminals away, he knows how to deal with certain Quirks and Abilities."

"However, Seito isn't lacking in Experience from what I understand." Aizawa admitted afterwards. If he didn't learn Rukido was a Plumber or Hero, then he would say that he was in over his head. "I must admit, I'm impressed he's worked multiple styles together and made them work for different transformations. Not to mention he had the variety advantage."

"You're telling me. A whole Universe to pick from." Mic muttered with a smile. "I bet he's got something like my Quirk from that selection."

"An entire race based on your Quirk? Sounds like a nightmare." Aizawa said heartlessly.

"HARSH!" Mic yelled, annoying Aizawa further.

"Enough boys." Midnight said, giggling at her actions. "But seriously, Aizawa, who do you have on winning this?"

"I'll withhold that answer till it begins." Aizawa said simply. "Though, I am curious what exactly Seito has planned."

"As am I, though I doubt it's anything too complex." Nezu said, gaining a glint in his eye. "However, I believe his first move will be quite effective."

(Mock City A-13)

"You really won't attack until I transform?" Rukido asked.

"No." Endeavor said simply, his eyes remaining closed.

"Well that works out perfectly for me." Rukido said while raising his wrist. Endeavor merely scoffed and prepared to use his flames to end this quickly.

However that idea went out the window once Rukido threw his leg forward and promelty kicked the Number 2 Hero: Endeavor, directly in his balls.

That alone wouldn't have brought him to his knees, but it was the painful jolt of electricity that came with it. Starting from his harshly bruised balls, the electricity spread throughout his body as his eyes nearly popped out of his head. On his knees, he gripped his package and tried to comfort his pain. Then a boot slammed into his nose, making blood spew out and knock him to the ground. Attempting to get up, Endeavor was spewing flames with a growl. A sequel escaped from his mouth as Rukido harshly stomped down on his sack, sending yet another bolt of electricity.

"That's only One Hundred Thousand Bolts of electricity in this boot. My friend Hatsume is an excellent creator when it comes to the unorthodox. I bet if she didn't dream of being a Support Hero and became a Pro, she'd be up there in the top 10 for things like this." Rukido said, a dark look down on his face. A creepy smile came right after. "Try not to get too angry, this was just the most logical way in taking you down a notch before I use one of my Aliens. Now, let's see how you handle Two Hundred Thousand!"

(Viewing Room)

"Oh my. How devastating." Nezu said casually before bringing his cup to his mouth. The teachers could only watch in disbelief as Rukido aggressively stomped on

"...Holy shit." Mic said softly, grimacing at the sight. "That's just painful to look at."

"...I'm debating whether to scold him for calling such a "tactic" logical or to praise him for doing that much damage...repeated damage." Aizawa said, his eyes twitching as he spoke.

"Well it is an effective method. I use it myself plenty of times." Midnight confirmed before wincing slightly. "Though without the Taser Boot. Still stylish in my eyes."

"This is just embarrassing." Aizawa said, shaking his head at Endeavor's idiocy.

(Mock City A-13)

"Well, I think I did enough damage." Rukido admitted, letting out a breath. Endeavor was still very much awake, but was still trying to recover from the underhanded tactic. "Though, I think you are stunned enough for me to rant at you for a little. You better listen well or else I'm upping it up to Seven Hundred Thousand next."

Endeavor could only glare up at the boy as he was forced to listen.

"Do you even realize what you did? I mean really, do you?" Rukido asked, taking off his cloak and kneeling down to his boot. He pressed a button on it as it soon came off and folded itself to a simple block. "You, the Number Two Hero had personally destroyed his family, just for some stupid title at being Number One? Never mind the Quirk Marriage alone being used for your sick dream of getting a Child to surpass All Might."

'Shoko spilled that much!' Endeavor thought annoyed.

"Let's go over the obvious. As a father, you're as bad as they come. Neglecting your own because they didn't have a Quirk that you wanted them to have and then you run back to your wife to produce another one. No wonder she snapped if all she was used for was to be a baby maker." Rukido said with a scoff, ignoring the anger on Endeavor's face. "And all for what? So you can surpass All Might through their achievements? For a guy who wants to surpass him, you sure don't want to put in the effort yourself. Nevermind the fact they would have to be voted for that stupid rank system, but do you really think that there's no reason for anyone else to take that place? Trust me if I say All Might, who has no known recognition outside of grinding his way to the top and is able to keep that place, anyone else can too."

"Back on the matter of your children. You abandoned them because in your eyes they were useless to you. Maybe you do support them with finances, but that's as far as it goes. All to make to cover up your own mistakes. Yet somehow, somehow, one of them has hope that your family can still be that much." Rukido said, making Endeavor's eyes widen as Fukiyumi came to mind. "Despite that, you can't man up and admit when you're clearly in the wrong. How embarrassing, If your only purpose in being a Hero is to surpass All Might then give up, you're never gonna surpass him with an attitude like that. Shoko neither if she was anything like you."

"You...DARE!" Endeavor said, flames building up around. Rukido casually picked up the sealed boot and stepped back as the Number 2 Hero stood up. He had recovered from his...injury and was now standing tall and ready to attack.

"Yup. I don't like bad parents enough as is. I dislike it even more when they decide to go on and justify their actions as though it's okay." Rukido said, his glare seemingly growing harsher. "That's why I'm here. To beat you and make sure Shoko becomes the Hero she wants to. And I'm the one who's gonna put all my effort into helping her. You...your treatment towards not only Shoko, but her siblings, and your own wife, only hindered Shoko the whole time." The heat grew more intense as Endeavor stood up and glared at him with nothing more than pure anger. "Seems like I've made you angry. I would be sorry, but not towards a flaming pile of dog shit."

"You've incurred my fury boy, for that I will make it so that you will never have the chance to recover. I'll make you watch as your pathetic watch is melted by my flames!" Endeavor announced, his flames pushing out of his body.

"You can try." Rukido said before tossing the sealed block in the air while activating his Omnitrix. Endeavor instantly fired a stream of flames at him just as a flash of green engulfed the field. Flames spewed across the streets before settling down while Heatblast took place, making Endeavor growl at him. The Pyronite glanced at him before raising a hand and engulfing it in flames. "Oh and as of right now, you're completely outclassed."

(Viewing Room)

"I had a feeling he would go for that form." Aizawa muttered. "If I had to guess, he's fire proof as Heatblast."

"You would be right to assume that." Nezu said. "Granted a powerful enough explosion can knock him off his feet, he wouldn't be grazed by it due to a Pyronite's body being composed of flame to begin with."

"So Endeavor's screwed basically." Mic simplified.

"I guess that's what happens when you go up against a guy who can pretty much have a surplus of powers. He's practically invincible." Midnight sighed out dramatically.

"Oh, I wouldn't be too sure on that." Nezu said with a smile on his face.

"What do you mean?" Mic asked, confused. He figured with how good Rukido was, he was pretty much a pro.

"Do remember that Seito is still young and wasn't the same person he was today." Nezu said. "As formidable as he is, he has lost plenty of time in the past. If it wasn't for his uncanny ability to jump back up and his luck, he may have died during those fights."

"Honestly, that's more reassuring than it should be. Is that wrong of me?" Midnight asked, feeling bad for her thoughts.

"Not in the slightest. You don't learn anything if you win all the time...though I am curious about what and who exactly defeated him." Aizawa mumbled under his breath. If he had to guess, the Plumbers were trained to deal with different types of Alien Criminals if they didn't have the ability themselves to deal with it. "If I had to guess, more experienced threats had overpowered him in the past."

"That along with those with a brilliant plan in mind." Nezu said, thinking back to rather...horrifying events. "Let it be known that he isn't invincible and he's well aware of that. However, if he's certain of victory, then he'll take the chance at it."

"...This isn't gonna end well for Endeavor, is it?" Mic asked suddenly.

He was met with silence.

(Mock City A-13)

Endeavor glared harshly at Heatblast, the Pyronite returning it with equal force.

"You're a child, boy! You stand no chance in actually winning against me." Endeavor declared.

"That kind of attitude is just gonna make you look bad in the end. Trust me, I know." Heatblast said before forming a fireball. "But if you can see that then this victory is just gonna be much sweeter."

He tossed the fireball as hard as he could while Endeavor reeled his fist back and released a stream of flames. It instantly overpowered the fireball and flew towards the Pyronite, consuming him whole. The Number Two Hero narrowed his eyes and looked up to see Heatblast floating up in the air, his arms by his side.

"Like I said, you're completely outclassed." Heatblast said, holding his hand out with flame building up around his palm. The fire he released was far more concentrated and powerful, quickly flying down at Endeavor. Dashing backwards, he managed to avoid the attack as the blast released a heatwave around them.

Endeavor watched as the streets burned bad to the point it looked like magma. Ignoring this, he boosted himself up at Heatblast with fire brimming around his fist. The Pryonite however remained in place and curved his finger upwards. The heated concrete suddenly rose up from the ground and shot up to the air, much to Endeavor's surprise. Halting his attack, he forced himself to fly around the incoming heated concrete, throwing fist into them to break them apart. He blew apart another one until he spotted Heatblast landing on the ground.

"You're mine! Flashfire Fist!" Flames spewed around his fist as he lunged downwards for his attack. However, flames spew around Heatblast in a circle before flying upwards to form a pillar. Endeavor growled and tried to push through to no avail. With no other choice he jumped back and landed across from the Pryonite, giving him a scowl. "Damn it."

"What is with people yelling out their moves? I can understand my classmates, some of them do like showing off, but then grown people like you and All Might do it as well." Heatblast commented as the flame vanished. "But then again, I feel like I can blame him for that. He does love shouting it out to hear."

"This isn't about this bastard! Now fall or else!" Endeavor demanded, charging forward to continue his attack. Heatblast settled for back stepping, using his flames from his feet to dodge the incoming strikes. Try as he might, Endeavor couldn't land a solid attack on him. Despite using his fire to boost his speed, he wasn't able to land a solid strike on Heatblast with him using the same method. As soon as he tried going for another strike, Heatblast barely dodged it before slamming a heated fist into his chest, blasting him back at the same time.

"Take notes, Fire Crotch. Heatblast may not be someone who can take a direct hit like yours so it's only natural to avoid and counter." Heatblast said while keeping his distance from the man. "Not to mention those flames of yours are no good. Not against me."

"We'll see soon enough! Hell Minefield!" Striking the ground with a flaming fist, he pushed the flames underground. The ground spewed out flames while heading straight to Heatblast, who jumped back as a large explosion erupted where he once stood. Not letting up, Endeavor pulled his fist back and concentrated flames into his palm. "JET BURN!" A blast fired from his hand and soared, growing in size as it drew closer to it's target. Upon hitting Heatblast a massive explosion ensued and blasted the Pyronite back into a building. A smirk settled on his face before letting out a breath. "Damn it, too many of those and I'll burn out faster. At least I put that punk down."

At least, that's what he believed.

Endeavor walked over to the building while preparing another attack until a flurry of flames shot out from the whole. He barely managed to dodge it before Heatblast grabbed him by his head and tackled him to the ground, releasing an explosion in the process. The Pyronite jumped back right afterwards while Endeavor blasted himself up and closed in. Throwing strike after strike, the Flame Hero growled at the speed Heatblast was using to evade him. Heatblast soon took to the air with Endeavor flying right after him as fast as he could. Before he could throw a fist, Endeavor's flames suddenly spiraled out of control and forced him to fly past the Pyronite.

'The hell?!' Endeavor thought, barely catching himself. Seeing Heatblast just floating there, he charged down again to attack only for his flames to spiral out of control again and force him to hit the ground back first. He got himself up and glared at Heatblast in realization. "Don't tell me..."

"That's right! Pyrokinesis!" Heatblast said, landing across from Endeavor. "The ability to control fire is really useful against the man known as the Flame Hero, don't you agree?"

"Enough! Let's see if your tricks can handle this!" Endeavor announced once more bringing flames around his hands. He was trying his best to ignore how his body was overheating in favor of his next attack. "Once I beat you, Shoko will be returned to me!"

"There you go. Sprouting off nonsense as though she's some sort of property." Heatblast muttered, sounding more annoyed than he was angry. Flames sparked around his hand as he reeled it back. "If I need to destory that stupid ego of yours here and now then so be it."

"FLASHFIRE FIST: HELLFIRE VORTEX!" Endeavor roared while flames spewed out from his fist, swirling around like a tornado. He charged forward with this, gritting his teeth for the final attack. 'I WILL WIN! NO MATTER THE COST!'

Heatblast had thrown his fist and matched up with Endeavor's with ease, remaining silent the whole time. Endeavor was shocked that his flames were actually shrinking now despite him putting more and more power into it. The Pyronite still didn't say anything as flames were flowing from his shoulders and his back at the same time. A full minute went by before Endeavor's attack vanished, the man dropping to his hands and knees while his own flames resided.

"D-damn it." Endeavor got out, breathing heavily to try and catch his breath. He noticed the heat fade away around them and looked up to see Heatblast calmly standing in front of him. "You...you absorbed my flames, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did." Heatblast said simply before holding a hand up and aiming it down. "Now, do you yield?"

Endeavor didn't even scowl at him, choosing to glare down at the ground with clenched fist. "...I surrender."

"Oh. Good." Heatblast said, aiming his hand out elsewhere. The box that contained the tesla boot was floated to him, contained in a ball of fire and remaining unharmed. It faded away and dropped into Heatblast's hands before he turned back to Rukido. "Guess I win."

"...You had me outclassed in every way in that fight." Endeavor admitted.

"To be fair, you were looking down on me and didn't think of all I can do. Not that I blame you with how heated you were. Pun intended." Rukido said, placing the box down and sitting down. "You cooled off now? I would rather not get suckered punched by a guy that's over my weight class."

Endeavor remained quiet, still taking deep breaths in an attempt to cool himself down. Once he had settled he forced himself to lay down, taking an occasional breath.

"Well...time for me to talk then. I'll try not to talk too much smack this time, but I wanna make sure you get this through your head." Rukido said, his mocking tone replaced something with a casual one. "I wanted to make sure I beat it into your head with how stupid you're plan is, but first I wanna know the point of it all. Is it really just a desire to be known as the best? The strongest?"

The Flame Hero remained silent, turning his head away with an unreadable expression.

"...I see." Rukido sighed, placing a hand on his head. "Man...do you know many of you are out there? Wanting to be the best? I honestly don't see the point in just wanting all that attention."

"You do know you beat the Number Two Hero...right?" Endeavor pressed, giving a look.

"Meh, I cheated basically. I'll be the first to admit that I used Heatblast because it was a guaranteed win." Did he have a number of Aliens that could face Endeavor? Without a doubt. However this was something he had to win, for Shoko's sake. "It wouldn't have changed what I do normally anyway...plus it helps that you're not a sore loser either so I don't have a reason to brag about it."

"You're treating this as though it's nothing." Endeavor growled only to stop at hearing a chuckle.

"It really isn't. As far as I'm concerned this was just a regular old spar." Rukido said with a shrug. "Now, back on the topic at hand. You are stupid. Do you really think anyone gives a damn about who's on top? Wait no, they do. But that's due to that idiotic ranking system." He could only assume that it was something made up by a group of people before it was adopted into something so much more serious. It had the pro of getting Heroes to try their hardest and give entertainment to civilians, but that's where it ended. The con being how much pressure it puts on heroes in every place. Either from being forced to be at their best or prove themselves good enough in front of the world. 'Hero of the Universe isn't exactly something I wanted, but I'm not the only one who has that title either.'

Wait, off topic again.

"You forced Shoko through training that could be seen as abuse if not thanks to your own ignorance. You had effectively stunted her growth, not only as a Hero, but also as a Human being as well." Rukido said, matching Endeavor's gaze. "It's a miracle she didn't snap like her mother and that's the truth. All because you wanted to force your dream on her. Can you outright say that you deserve the position of Number One knowing that?"

"Do you think weak words like that can affect me?" Endeavor asked, his stare not matching his words.

"You're not saying yes." Rukido said, bluntly.

"..."

"...Yeah, I still don't see the point." Rukido said, looking away and with a bored look on his face. "Who's gonna care really? A bunch of strangers you've never met before. That doesn't sound great...then again, if it were people close to me maybe it would matter a bit."

Endeavor thought back to his own children and Rei, for the first time. He imagined them being a part of the normally cheering crowds with real smiles across his face. Yet that wasn't the reality. He was resented by them, even Fuyumi wasn't truly there to support him. Just try and bring their broken family together. Something he was fully aware of, but had chosen to ignore in favor of making his desire become the reality. A desire that was only shared by his son...one he had lost.

"Judging by your reaction you're thinking about that too." Rukido said, looking down at the Flame Hero once more. It was the look of realization, filled with regret and anger, ready to last for years to come. "Guess you needed an ass kicking to see that...damn it, I almost feel bad too...eh, screw it."

Endeavor wasn't a total lost cause compared to other bad parents.

"You what?" Shoko asked, giving Rukido a glare of cold fury.

"Give the old man another chance." Rukido said again, pointing his finger at Endeavor, who was currently bowing his head.

That's right, he wanted to get Shoko to give Endeavor another chance and needless to say she was far from thrilled about it.

"Why would you even think of giving him that chance?" Shoko asked, her eyes losing her glow in favor of the rage she was feeling. "You know what he's done!"

"And you believe him?" Shoko asked in disbelief.

"Honestly, not fully." Rukido admitted, yet keeping his adamant stare. "But I do know plenty of people who were once so deep inside their goals that once they realize what they've done, it's too late."

"It is too late. It's been too late for years." Shoko argued before assuming the worst. "Did he pay you?"

"Don't be stupid. I can't be bought." Rukido said, annoyed with the suggestion. "Besides, I never said I was gonna stop being your father, now did I?"

"Maybe not, but do you expect me to forgive for all he's done!" Shoko demanded. "To pretend that I wasn't made for his own selfish dream? To even consider him a father!"

"No. In fact, I'd be surprised if we ever got that close." Rukido admitted once more, irritating her further.

"Then why are you even suggesting this?" Shoko asked once more. She honestly couldn't understand it.

"For your sake." Rukido said, catching her off guard. "So long as you hold this type of anger towards him, you'll lead yourself back on the road of a cold Hero. I know a few people who've held grudges for so long that they lose themselves in it. You wanna be the kind of Hero that can overcome something like that or else you're gonna fall."

She hesitated to say something back in favor of glaring at the ground. 'I don't want to go back to that person. Not after all the effort Midoirya went through to change me. But to simply forgive him.'

"This is your choice, Shoko." Endeavor said suddenly, catching her glare on him. He sat up, allowing her to see a closer look in his eyes. They didn't have the same fire they used, being dulled out "I will not ask anything of you nor will I persuade you in following my path. Your road as a Hero is your own." He calmly walked past her and towards the door before stopping short. "Should you change your mind, I ask that you come to my agency during internships. Your flames are uncontrolled and should you not get control soon you'll hurt yourself and others. Think about it."

Without another word he left, leaving the duo by themselves.

"So serious." Rukido said.

"...I had never seen that look on his face before." Shoko muttered in surprise.

"Well he did just have a wake up call." Having your ass kicked by someone who was way younger than you did that. "But I think you should take him up on that offer." Seeing her stunned stare, he decided to explain. "Even though I can help you with your fire side, I am gonna be busy myself. Between being Class President, helping out each of you, internships and making sure Eri is good, I got plenty on my plate."

"I don't know how I would be able to work with him." The fear was clear on her face. She was worried that the training provided would be like what she was like in the past. Harsh and unforgiving. A hand on her shoulder brought her out of her funk and made her jump bad.

"You see what i'm talking about right? About this being for you?" Rukido said with Shoko being silent. "And you already know that if he screws up, you come to either me or Nezu. He won't even think about it."

"...I will not be calling him father." Shoko said with a hint of resolve. There was no way in hell was she going to risk reverting back to her old self out of fear. Too much effort was placed into her and all without a second thought. Even if it meant having to deal with...him.

"That's good." Rukido praised until he saw the downcast expression grow on her face. "Hey, turn that frown upside down. After I give the Taser Boot back to Mei, I know Ship has some great pictures of me fucking up Endeavor's chances at another kid and i'll throw in some Soba."

"...Alright." Shoko said, a smile on her face.

"I also don't want you telling other people about this battle, I'm sure Nezu made that clear previously." He was not gonna deal with the media after he won. Only Shoko knows about the victor outside of Nezu and his group. "It's a stalemate with our deals canceled for one another. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Fine...I want more Soba then." Shoko said as they walked out.

"Sure thing kiddo, just try not to get sick okay?" Rukido laughed, echoing throughout the hallway.

(?)

Mimic's eyes flicked open, feeling unnaturally relieved for some reason. However those thoughts soon faded upon soon looking around and quickly jumped back onto his feet.

He was in some kind of dark void that was somehow lit up at the same time. Nothing else could be seen around him, not even the source of the light. He tried to use his mic only to stop the cold. Glancing down at his once metal arm, he saw one of flesh and blood, identical to his other.

"What...what the hell is going on here?" Mimic muttered, shock consuming his entire being. This...this just wasn't possible, right?

"I think I can explain that~"

His guard back up, his cold stare focused and his stance ready to go. Several onyx tendrils came from the darkness and surrounded him, yet never touched him. Feeling a presence, he looked up and gasped at seeing a large head, colored in shiny obsidian. It's pure white eyes were shaped rather violently while the grin it gave would have frightened any being.

"It's been so long. We have so much to talk about...Corvus~"

(Chapter End)

A/N: And done, sorry that this took so long, I've just been distracted as of late and this was much longer than I intended, but that's for the best.

First off, I know you're curious about the end result of Rukido Vs. Endeavor. That was a battle of experience, of one being a Hero for a long number of years against understanding the power you have. If you know Heatblast, you know that match was already set. Him being fireproof, unable to burnout and having pyrokinesis, made him Endeavor's greatest foe. He is basically an upgraded version of the Flame Hero. At the same time, there is a limited amount of Aliens who can actually challenge Endeavor.

Fourarms for example is easily stronger than him physically, but would more likely lose due to Endeavour's ranged and aerial advantage. Big Chill would be able to avoid any and all manner of attacks, but it would be a long battle due to Endeavor's flames being able to break out of the ice.

It's why Rukido said he cheated, he didn't give Endeavor a way to win.

As for our final segment with Mimic...if you know, you know. If not, it will be revealed in the next chapter.

That should be all, so I hope you enjoyed it, that you return for more and that you have a great day. Until next time.

Reviews

Ushindi: Cool chapter! Acido is cool name and is quite fitting as you said. Rukido sure has an interesting backstory and R.I.P Kurai. I wasn't expecting Mirko to take an interest on Izuku, now I'm looking forward to next chapter.

1. Did you see the latest chapter where Katsuki dies? I was quite shocked at his death, his body is quite bloody and gruesome. I never did like Katsuki, cause of his attitude and him treating Izuku like nothing, but after he finally matures and apologize for everything he has done to Izuku, I started to see him in new light, not one of my favorite characters but he got my respect. And now he's dead, he died as a hero.

2. Was Katsuki's character development worth the wait or should have been much earlier?

3. What do you think Izuku's reaction will be when he finds out Katsuki is dead?

Answers: Well hopefully you liked this as well too.

1: Until it's actually official when the battle is over, I ain't believing jack just yet. To add on, if he is gone then good riddance. He certainly not my favorite character and I doubt that's ever gonna change really. Then again, I haven't really been reading the Manga itself, instead of hearing about the news of certain events, so I can't really share those kinds of changes. Especially when it comes to characters like Katsuki.

2: It's fine with it, even if I don't really care too much.

3: Rage, that's all I got.

MBS41: I enjoyed this chapter and loved how Rukido gave us more backstory into how he is. Also I like how you made Izuku learn full cowling early. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Answer: Well I figured it was time to give some background on the guy, I still have to do it for a few other people myself. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed this chapter too.

Xion Cipher: ooooh I wanna see that confrontation with endeavor! it's gonna be interesting!

Answer: Hopefully it was to your expectations.
