Prompt fill: Tony and Ziva visit a panda.

Another old one from tumblr, barely a ficlet.

Finishing his sketch of the dead petty officer, he looked up to see whether his teammates were close to wrapping up. Gibbs had rushed off earlier after a phone call, McGee was interviewing the zookeepers, and Ziva was… Where was Ziva?

He spotted her looking into the nearest enclosure, a wide smile on her face that spread to her eyes. Curiosity got the better of him and he approached her, a slow smile building on his own lips.

"What has you so merry at a murder scene, Officer David?"

Never taking her eyes of the black and white animal, she chuckled and nodded. "It reminds me of you."

Tilting his head, he glanced at the giant panda that was casually leaning back against a tree, chewing through a pile of bamboo, not the least bit bothered by the corpse laying twenty feet away.

"Strong and good looking," he suggested, placing his forearms on the fence.

Another chuckle. "A messy eater."

He huffed. The panda stood up, bamboo scraps falling from its furry belly, and turned its back towards them.

From the corner of his eye he watched Ziva face him, gaze sliding down his body, shamelessly lingering on his backside. When she stepped into his personal space, he turned towards her, eagerly awaiting whatever flirty comment would accompany her wide grin and sparkling eyes.

"And a hairy butt."

Narrowing his eyes at her own backside as she sauntered off, he considered his odds of getting lucky—or staying alive, for that matter—if he were to drop his pants and tell her to use her investigative skills to get her facts straight.
