I can't believe she's in La Push. We need to call Carlisle to set up a meeting with the wolves. Emmett and I quickly leave the house making the decision to hunt. Once we get to the forest, I call Carlisle.

"Doctor Cullen," He answers.

"Hi, it's Rose, I need you to set up a meeting with the wolves." I tell him.

"Why?" He asks concerned.

"I found Jasper's wife," I say.

"What does that have to do with the wolves?" He asks confused.

"She lives in La Push. She goes by the name Grace Whitlock." I tell him.

"She's still alive?" He questions.

"I know I was surprised too. Can you just set up the meeting?"

"When would you like it for?"

"As soon as you can get it. Jasper has been waiting long enough to see her again," I say. The whole house knows about Jasper's love for his wife. Just not the extent of it. I look at Emmett after I hung up the phone. "We really going to do this?"

"No going back now," Emmett tells me.

We go hunt while we wait for Carlisle's call. We pile the bodies near by to give to the Quileute's again. I feel a lot better knowing we aren't wasting the meat by burying the bodies like we normally do. My phone rings I see that it is Carlisle.

"Yes?" I answer.

"I have set up a meeting for now at the boundary line, where we normally do our meets." He informs me.

We quickly head to the line with the bodies of the animals. The alpha changes back and put on his shorts.

"You called a meeting to bring us more meet?" He asks.

"No," I tell him. "We were hunting while we were waiting and decided to bring you the bodies of our hunts."

"Thank you," he tells me. "So, what is this meeting about?"

"I was hoping to meet Grace Whitlock,"

The silver wolf changes back quickly. "What do you want with my mom?" He spits at us, not caring about his state of undress.

"We've been looking for her. I think Jasper is her husband," Emmett says.

"They don't know Jasper, Emmett." I tell him.

"Yes, her husbands name was Jasper. What is the concern to you? He was killed in action." The alpha says.

"He was actually missing in action. The reason he went missing is he was turned into a vampire," I say knowing if I want to see her, I will have to lay all my cards on the table. The brown wolf turns back and pulls on his shorts. He throws the silver one shorts, and he pulls them on.

"He was into a vampire? Why would he want that?" The brown one asks.

"He didn't. he was turned against his will. He has always loved Grace. By the time he got away he thought she had died." I explain to them. "Can we please see her?"

"Fine," the alpha says. The other two look outraged.

"If you upset her in anyway or my little brother. I will tear you apart." The silver one threatens.

"Follow me," the alpha tells us walking through the forest. We arrive at a small hut. The other two wolves drop the bodies of the animals we killed on the ide on the house.

"Jared, Paul is that you?" I hear a woman call.

"Yeah, mom. We brought you some blood suckers." The silver one calls out to her.

"Now why would you do that, Paul?" The woman calls back the voice coming closer. She steps out of the house. "Oh hello," she says to us shocked.

"Hi," I say shyly.

"Hi, I' Emmett." He says sticking his hand out for her to shake. She shakes his hand.

"Hi, Emmett. I'm Grace."

"We've been looking for you," Emmett says flashing her a smile.

"Well, that is a startling concept. I hope I did nothing to upset you," she says.

"I've read your letters," I blurt out.

"I don't think I have sent any letter in a long time," she tells us.

"Your letters to your mom," I say.

"I gave those to my husband before he went missing. How did you get them?" She asks.

"He gave them to me to read," I say.

"You knew him?" She asks her face lighting up.

"We know him," Emmett says. "He's our brother."

She gave us a confused look. "Maybe you should come in and we will all sit down," she tells us.

We head into what looks like a small hut on the outside. It is in fact a rather large multi story house on the inside.

"Wow," Emmett says what we are both thinking.

"I'm glad you like it. Would you like anything to eat or drink?" She offers.

"Well, if your offering," Emmett jokes. The wolves growl and she laughs.

"I believe that is what they call a joke boys. Relax and learn to take one," she tells them. "So, your brother is my husband?"

"Yes, he is," I reply.

"Then why didn't you bring him?" she asks me a little upset.

"Because a lot has changed in 170 years." I tell her. Tears start streaming down her face.

"I understand. He no loner loves me. It has been many years." She says sadly/ Paul goes to her and pulls her into his arms. She looks so small there.

"Of course, he hasn't stopped loving you. I was just meaning that he looks different. He is also being manipulated by another vampire." I tell her. She looks up at me hopeful.

"His mother always thought he would be taken advantage of." She tells me sighing. "What can I do?"

"I want to bring him to see you just keep an open mind." I tell her knowing I will have to avoid making plane and telling Jasper anything. He wont be able to shield his thought in all the excitement. I knew Carlisle could. He is smarter then most give him credit for. "Will you be home in two days?" I ask.

"Yes, I don't go far from home," she tells me. "The boys usually need me for something." She smiles fondly at them.

"Mrs. Whitlock, they are the one's bringing us the meat." The brown wolf, who I am guessing is Jared says.

"Really? Well, thank you. The boys have a vicious appetite. So, the meat did help. It filled them up good that night," she says smiling at us.

"We didn't ask for this. Least we can do is help you out where we can." I tell her.

"You didn't?" Jared asks.

"No, none of us wanted to be turned," I say.

"I always thought you did. Grace always tells us there is two sides to every story. I just never thought it counted in this case," Jared says.

"None the less thank you," Grace says.

"I'm thinking we say we are taking Jasper on a weeklong hunt trip. First two days we go hunting get him all fed and then bring him here. No one would suspect that," I plan out loud.

"Seems like a good idea," Emmett agrees.

"So, we will meet you at the boundary line in exactly 48 hours," I tell the wolves as we leave the house. We all head back to the boundary line talking. Emmett and I head back to the house. We see Alice waiting for us at the end of the driveway.

"I saw that you found where Grace lives. If you go looking for her or tell anyone you found her, she will end up killing the whole family. I have seen it." She tells us. Emmett and I both nod and agree, then head up to our room. We both get in the shower and turn it on, so Alive can't hear us.

"You heard that?" Emmett asks.

"That she has supposedly seen us get killed by Grace? Yeah." I say.

"What's the plan then?" He asks.

"We are still going on our weeklong hunting trip. Alice is obviously lying and has no idea Carlisle knows and doesn't know we have already met her. If I were to hazard a guess, I don't think she even knows where Grace lives." I say.

"Would the wolves be protecting her from Alice's visions?" Emmett asks.

"Maybe, that's actually a good possibility." I say. "We should leave as soon as we can."

"I agree," Emmett says.

We both get out of the shower and dry off at vampire speed. Emmett goes to ask Jasper if he wants to go on a weeklong hunting trip with us. I pack a backpack with the books Jasper gave me thinking he would want them. I stash the bag outside the outside making sure I make no decisions. I quickly head out my window then come back in the same way. I head to Jasper's office to meet up with the boys.

"Ready to go?" I ask them.

"Yeah," they both agree.

We head out the front door and I grab the backpack.

"What's that?" Jasper asks.

"Stuff for the Quileute's," I tell him. Which isn't a lie. "Come on let's go hunt."

We all go hunt in our own areas. Two days of hunting will give us a lot of meat to the Quileute wolves/ I know Grace will appreciate it as well. We gather the bodies in one area knowing we will be back to get them later. We put them near the Quileute border. I keep hunting to keep myself busy. I don't want Jasper to feel my excitement. We won't tell him till he sees her. It will be the best surprise. The wolves agreed to this. We will deal with Alice when we get back. The lying bitch will need to be confronted. I feel like this is a love story out of a cheesy romance novel. After 47 hours well all meet up where we put the bodies.

"What are you two so excited about?' Jasper asks us as he approaches Emmett and I.

"I don't want to disrespect you by lying to you," I tell him. he nods his head. "So, I will tell you, that you will see."

"I can respect that," he says respectfully.

We head to the border and all the wolves are waiting. We start to cross, and Jasper hesitates.

"It's alright, Jasper. We got permission," I tell him which isn't a lie. He steps across the border, and we walk to the house. The wolves change back and pull on their shorts. They head inside we put the bodies of the animals against the side of the house.

"You coming in?" Jared asks.

"Or course," Emmett says jogging over to him. We all head inside. Jasper starts to smell the air. We walk into the kitchen.

Grace's POV

"We brought guests, mom," Paul tells me. I turn around and there he is. My blonde-haired husband. His eyes are different, but that doesn't matter.

"Grace?" He asks quietly as he falls to his knees.

"Jasper!" I exclaim running over to him, falling to the ground, and pulling him in my arms.

"You can't really be here? I have to be seeing things." He says almost to himself.

"I'm right here, Jaz." I tell him.

"How?" He asks. His honey eyes looking up to meet mine. He cups my face with his hand almost as if he is afraid to break me.

"You brother and sister found me," I say looking at Emmett and Rose.

"You did this?" He asks them gently.

"Yes. You told us how much you missed her. At first, we were looking for a grave for you to go talk to her at. Then we realize she was still alive and found her here in La Push raising wolves." Rose explains.

"Thank you," he says running over to Rose and hugging her. He comes back and pulls me into his arms. "I love you," he tells me quietly and kisses me. "I've been waiting 170 years to do that to you,"

"I've been waiting that long for you to kiss me. Don't make me wait that long before the next." I tell him.

"Never," he says kissing me again.

I look around and notice we are alone.

"Where did everyone go?" I ask hoping they didn't feel unwelcome.

"Don't worry, Grace. They will be back they went to process the meat we brought from our two-day hunting trip." He tells me, running his thumb on my lips.

"Good, I didn't want them to feel unwelcome," I tell him.

"You haven't changed a bit," he says tapping my nose.

"Is that a good thing?" I ask hopeful.

"Yes, you are perfect." He tells me.

"Your different." I tell him. He looks down. I lift his chin, or he allows me to, "You seam less confident in yourself, why?"

"It's been a long 170 years without you. I felt like every day was a year without you by my side." He says.

"Sappy." I tell him.

"When did you become a modern woman?" He asks jokingly.

"You married a modern woman. Don't you know?" I joke back. I missed our jokes and humour. "I think my boys helped me embrace change more then I was alone." I tell him once we stop laughing.

"Your boys?" He asks confused.

"My sons. I'm a foster mom to three boys. You saw one Paul and two twin boys Collin and Brady. They are at a friend's house right now." I tell him nervous that he will be unhappy.

"You have nothing to be nervous about, Grace. I'm happy that you found a family while I wasn't around. I should say you made one. I would never ask you to give them up." He sooths me.

"I don't know how you always know how I'm feeling. It's been 170 years, but that has never changed." I say.

"I kind of cheat not," he says rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"How?" I ask.

"My power is pathokinesis." He admits sheepishly.

"Wow," I say blown away. "How does it work?"

"I will tell you some other time." He tells me.

Paul walks in "there are two red eyed vampires at the border saying they know you two." Paul tells us.
