Adelaide was riding her bike back to Enid's house when she saw something in her mirror. It was none other than Raymond running in her direction. She stopped her bike so he could catch up. "Raymond, are you following me?" she asked with a chuckle.

Raymond finally caught up. "In a way yes, but not in a creepy way. I just wanted to see if you would like to hang out tomorrow after work. Father and Professor Venomous going to a villain convention so we robots and Fink are going to have the day off, and I wanted to spend it with someone I can like," the sports robot explained to her.

"You like me?" she said with a smile and a little bit of blush.

Raymond realized what he just said. "I meant to say 'stand', someone I can stand," he corrected himself and let out an awkward chuckle. "So, what do you say?" he asked.

Adelaide smiled. "I'm actually off tomorrow, so we could hang out all day. I was planning to write some short stories to get me out of my writing slump, but this will be way more fun," she said before her phone started ringing. "Hold on," she said before answering. "Enid? I'm fine, I am on my way back to the mansion. Okay, I will be careful," she said before hanging up.

"Okay, I will see you behind Mr. Logic's hair salon at let's say 9:30 am and we will have some fun," the sports robot said.

Adelaide giggled. "It's a date," she said before she started pedaling again. It took her the whole ride back to the mansion for her to realize what she said. She started blushing. "Why did I say that?! I mean, sure I might be attracted to him because he's sweet and handsome for a villain, but he probably doesn't feel the same way. I hope we can at least be friends," she said before going in. She went to her room and got ready for bed.

The Next Day…

Adelaide got up two hours early to get ready. Her outfit was a purple v-neck t-shirt, blue jeans, and purple running shoes. She met up with the sports robot. "Morning Raymond," she said before locking up her bike. She noticed that he had a single pink rose and a picnic basket in hand. "Are we going on a picnic?" she asked.

Raymond nodded and walked over to her and handed her the rose. "I hope you like the organic food I prepared. It's just a few cucumber sandwiches, a bottle of pink lemonade, and a few pumpkin spice snack cakes," he said as he opened the basket's lid and showed the aforementioned food.

She started licking her lips. "I love pumpkin spice. It's my favorite of all the seasonal flavors. Plus I love a good cucumber salad," she said before Raymond closed the lid.

He then handed her the rose. "It's from my garden, you're the first hero I have ever given one to," he explained.

She started blushing a deep red. "Thank you, I love it," she said trying to hide her blushing face with the rose. "So where are we going? I heard the crater in the forest is a nice area to eat," she added in a semi-flustered tone.

"That's actually would be perfect. I go there sometimes to practice my soccer skills. Follow me," he said before leading her into the forest. Adelaide looked around as they went deeper into the forest. Poetic thought about the beauty of the nature that she saw filled her mind. "So, you never been here before?" the robot asked.

She shook her head. "No, I haven't really had time with school, training, and work. That's why I was glad that you asked me to hang out, I just needed some time to relax." Raymond held a branch out of her way. "Thank you." They arrived at the crater and saw no one was around. Raymond took out the green and white picnic blanket from the basket and placed it on the ground. They sat down and began to eat. "This is delicious. Do I taste a hint of basil?" she asked before taking another bite of the cucumber sandwich.

Raymond nodded. "I find it adds a hint of zest," he explained before taking a bite of his.

Adelaide notices that a few crumbs had landed on his chest plate.

She let out a giggle. "You're a bit of a messy eater," she said. He looked down and let a laugh. "Here let me," she said before she leaned over and started to lightly brush off the bread crumbs off. She then lost her grip and fell onto him. They would have both fallen over if it wasn't for Raymond catching with his left hand. She lifted her head up and saw that their lips were so close to touching. "Sorry."

Raymond smiled. They were in that position forever that didn't even notice that Gregg was in the bushes taking a photo of them and posting it on social media with the caption 'Robot Kisser'.
