"Morning," Gojo's voice echoes.

"Megumi it's me!" Gojo cheered.

"Please be quiet."

He pouted, switching his blindfold for a pair of circular glasses. "Megumi-chan doesn't like me?"

"I don't."

Itadori slowly opens his eyes, blurry and unfocused. His gaze lands on the white-haired man who stares back, before turning to look at the rest of the room.

Talismans line the walls, and the lanterns give the room little light.

"So which one are you right now?" Gojo asked, arms crossed over the chair.

"Aren't you..." Itadori replies slowly.

"Gojo Satoru," The man supplies, smirking. "I'm in charge of the first years at Jujutsu High."

"Uwah! I look so cool!"

"Jujutsu..." Itadori repeats, "Fushiguro...Senpai!" He jerks forward, only to be held back by thick rope pinned to the ground.

"I vaguely remember this room." Yuta commented, thinking back on the time when he was first brought to the school. "Only I wasn't tied up."

"Eh? Really Yuta-senpai?" Itadori exclaimed.

"Yup! Even Gojo-sensei was there."

"What is this?"

"I'm not sure you should be worrying about others, Itadori Yuuji." Itadori looks back at Gojo with a dumb look. "It's been decided that you'll be secretly executed."

"Hmm, so the future is centered around Itadori-kun then?" Nanami pulled out a small notebook.

"Phewy, to bad it's not me." Gojo whined. Someone throws a pillow at him.

'Itadori' is written on a rusty house plate, as a phone rings in the background.

"Hello, Sugisawa Hospital."

"Oh. This is Itadori. I just called earlier." The pink-haired boy holds a P.O.T phone as he stares out the window. "Yes. I'm sorry I keep calling, but how is grandpa doing?"

"I didn't know you had a grandpa." Nobara said, crossing her arms.

"I uh, used to." If Itadori tears up a little, no one mentions it.

"Huh? I thought they already told you?" The nurse sighs, though not unkindly. "Please hold on. I'll go ask myself."

She gets up from her desk, as another nurse comments, "Itadori-san never uses his call button."

"It's actually scary that he doesn't."

"Itadori-san, you have a phone call." The nurse who picked up the phone peers into the room. "Yuji-kun's asking if you want him to bring any-"

She's cut off by Itadori's grandpa, who yells in annoyance. "Leave me alone! Tell him not to come!"

Another nurse flinches from the shout via phone, as she listens to their conversation.

"He should go to his club! His club!"

"Aw, he really cares for you!" Miwa said brightly.

Yuji nodded, taking in the sight he'd almost forgotten. He was really thankful his grandpa had told him to help others, otherwise he wouldn't have met the friends he made.

"What's going on?" Itadori asks.

"You heard him. What club are you in, Yuji-kun?"

Ignoring the question, Yuji responds, "I heard. I'll be coming by tomorrow evening."

With that, he hangs up.

Footsteps echo in the night as Megumi walks up to Miyagi Prefectural Sugisawa Third High School. Entering a vacant field, the spiky haired boy stares at a small, rickety cupboard.

"They're keeping a cursed object in a place like this? Could they be any dumber?"

"Well, the higher ups like to just dump things on us. The lazy bastards."

Megumi opens the latch, only to find nothing there. Frantic, he searches the confined parts of the box, looking under and around the area. He closes the locker and reopens it. Still nothings there.

"Pfft! Your face!" Nobara cackles as she takes pics of his panicked expression.

Everyone else chuckles as Megumi shrinks in embarrassment.

"There's nothing here." Megumi says, on call.

"Huh?" Gojo's voice could be heard from the other side.

"The Stevenson's Screen is empty."

"For real? That's hilarious! Maybe it took a nighttime stroll."

"I'll punch you."

"I'd do it too." Maki grumbled, chewing on a gummy.

"Salmon. Salmon."

"Well, no going home until it's recovered, okay?" Gojo hangs up, leaving Megumi unamused.

"I'm seriously going to punch him next time."

"So did you hit him?" Kamo asked.

"No unfortunately."

It's morning, and the same school Megumi checked is filled with students. In a room, labeled Occult Phenomenon Research Club, Itadori asks if his friends are ready.

"Ready to go?"

"What are you guys doing?" Mai questions.

Itadori snickers. "You'll see."

"Are you really sure, Sasaki-senpai," A young teen with a bob cut and glasses makes a noise of confirmation. The room is pitch black with a candle lighting the room. "Iguchi-senpai?"

When they both nod, Itadori movies his finger. "Okay! Here we go! Spirits, Spirits, please tell us...Which creature is the council president just barely weaker than?"

"Are you children?" Momo scoffed.

"Hey! It was fun. Sorry I'm not a boring person." Itadori retorts. Maybe it was a little childish. But whatever, it's not like he cared.

Their fingers land on 'Ku', 'ri' 'o' 'ne', and they repeat the words. "A Sea Angel can beat him?!"

They all burst into tears and laughter.

Maki puffed in amusement.

"What a small fry!" Itadori cackles as the door to the club room slides open.

"Occult Club!"

"Hey, Plankton President! What's up?" Itadori greets, causing Sasaki to hold in her giggles.

"Ahahahaha! Good one!" Nobara praised, slamming a hand on the chair.

Miwa giggled silently, hands hiding her smile.

The boy slaps down a paper. "As you were previously informed, a research club with no real activities must forfeit its club room. So vacate this room at once!"

"You shouldn't underestimate our members, president," Itadori says. Sasaki stands up and pulls out a thick folder titled 'Mysterious Events File 9'.

"What is that?"

Identical dark smirks appear on the three students.

"Creepy."

"You about our rugby field being closed off, right?" Sasaki explains.

"Yes. Some of the students who fell ill were actually hospitalized."

"Don't you think that's strange? We're talking about tough rugby players here. Truth is, the players said they started hearing mysterious sounds and voices right before they fell ill." The girl holds up another file. "That's when we found this newspaper article from thirty years ago. It talks about the disappearance of Yoshida-san, who worked with the construction company, and it mentions he was last sighted here at Sugisawa Third High School during construction."

The president gasps, pushing up his glasses. Though he doesn't believe them yet.

"Yoshida-san was struggling to make ends meet, so he turned to loan sharks and those organizations were after him." She threw her hand up. "Which means! The whole disaster at the rugby field was caused by the vengeful spirit of Yoshida-san, who's buried there!"

"Not a bad take for someone with no cursed energy." Ieiri said.

Nanami hummed in agreement.

"She does make a good point." Kamo added.

Itadori and Iguchi twirled their hands around Sasaki in a comical pose.

However, the president shot them down. "No, they were caused by ticks."

"..."

The three were stunned to silence.

"A large, blood-sucking bug."

In subtitles, there are the words 'If one bites you and infects you with SFTS, it can be fatal, so be careful.'

"So what?! The occult club is trying to uncover occult activity, so it's still a proper club activity report!" Itadori reasoned, smacking the file.

"This isn't some kid's game! Besides, the bigger problem is you, Itadori Yuuji!"

"Eh?"

"You're registered for the track and field club, not the occult club, so this club doesn't even have the three members required for any club!"

"You. You're really an idiot." Mai face palms.

"Actually it wasn't me. You'll see."

"Huh?"

"Itadori..." Sasaki crossed her leg over the other. It was clear she was pissed.

"No. I know I wrote down the occult club."

"I rewrote it!" A deep male voice cut in.

"What'd I tell you?" Itadori smiled smug and proud.

"That's only because this is the past." Megumi deadpans.

"The track and field coach, Takagi!" Itadori yelled, clenching his fists.

"Itadori, we need you so we can conquer the nationals!"

"You're that good he'd change your club forms?"

"That's my brotha for you!" Todo grinned.

"Yeah. Something about my physical prowess."

A teacher more problematic than the students just showed up...The president thought.

"Wait. We'll see our thoughts?!" Panda didn't like the idea of this, and he knew the others would be uncomfortable.

"Isn't this a breach of privacy?"

"Give it a rest! How many times do I have to tell you I refuse?"

"You can't!"

"Why can't I?!"

"This is unprofessional."

"Agreed."

"However, I'm not some sort of demon! If you can beat me, I'll give up on you!" The teacher declared, eyes closed. "Let's settle it square and fair on the track!"

Itadori grinned. "Now it's interesting! You're on!"

"Oho? Itadori challenging a teacher?" Gojo rubbed in hands together. He was eager to see how well his new student would perform.

Large words covered them, writing 'Track and Field Coach Takagi VS Itadori'

Is it 'fair and square' to rewrite a student's application? The president was baffled by the teacher's audacity.

What's with this rugby field? Megumi studied the field. When he looked down, a hideous monster came out of the grass, seemingly swimming though it.

Is there a dead body buried here or something? Even if there is, I'm surprised to see one this high leveled. That's probably a grade to curse. Megumi watched as the curse climbed on the goal pole. Must be that cursed object's influence.

He treaded up the stairs annoyed. Damn it. The presence it to strong to pin down. It feels like it could be close by, but it could be far away too. He glared at his phone. This special-grade cursed object is a serious pain.

A picture of a sealed object in a box could be seen. Who could have moved it? Where is it now?

"Oh!" Itadori noted, "That's what you were looking for!"

"Over here!" A voice yelled, catching Megumi's attention. "Coach Takagi is taking on Itadori from the West Middle!"

"Wow! What are they competing in?" Another called.

He followed them to another field with a small crowd.

A black shot put ball landed, creating a dent on the track.

"Yeah!" Takagi showed off his muscles as two students went to check the distance.

"14 meters!"

The words 'Japan's National Record: 18m 85cm' popped up.

"Wow! Takagi's still got it!" Someone commented, while others chanted Itadori's name.

"What are you going to do, Itadori?"

The pink haired pointed to himself. "Me! Me!"

"We know."

The "Hey, is Itadori famous or something?" Sasaki questioned.

"They're probably tall tales or something, but I heard he beat all stages of ninja warrior, and that he's the reincarnation of Mirko Cro Cop." Iguchi whispered.

"But Mirko's not dead yet."

Megumi came up from behind, watching interested, as Itadori was handed the ball.

"Still, he earned the title nickname of Tiger of the West Middle."

"Lame."

Nobara raised an eyebrow, "Yeah! What kinda name is that?!"

Itadori sweat dropped, "H-hey, I think it's kinda cool."

"Hey, can I throw this however I want?"

"Yep. I won't call any fouls, so throw however you please. Sorry. I wanted to demonstrate how serious I am by intentionally choosing something that isn't your fort-"

He stopped talking when Itadori threw the ball, in pitcher form. It flew far, only to be stopped by the soccer goal.

"Uh, roughly 30 meters."

"That's quite far," Miwa pointed out.

"Salmon."

Then, instead it showed 'World Record: 23m 21cm'.

"Yeah! I win!" Itadori cheered as Takagi gaped in shock.

Maki crossed her arms, "That's impressive. I wonder if I can throw that far."

Megumi shrugged, "Maybe."

"Hehehe, Maki-chan~" Gojo sang, wiggling his eyebrows, "are you jealous~"

Maki stuck a middle finger up, "Shut it."

His eyes watered in fake tears, "So mean."

"He's more a gorilla than a tiger, right?"

"That was a pitcher's throw."

"Itadori, you'd do well on the sports team" Sasaki told him, as he walked over. "You don't have to force yourself into the occult club you know."

"Huh? But as much as you two like scary things, you couldn't go to haunted places without me, could you?"

"We're scared because we like it." Sasaki replied flustered.

"Besides, this school requires everyone to be in a club, right? I couldn't keep up with this." Itadori gestured to the sports club taking photos.

He remembered when he first met his senpais.

"You don't have to do anything! You can be a ghost member! We're the occult club!" Sasaki introduced, large smile and persuasive.

"Occult club?" Megumi stared at Itadori, "Is that how you came across Sukuna's finger?"

Utahime and Yaga glanced sharply in his direction.

"I did say that," The girl said blushing.

"I want to go home by 5 pm for my own personal reasons. So if it's okay with you, I'd like to stay. I like the atmosphere of the occult club a lot."

"Well, if that's how it is, we don't mind." Both of them looked pleased.

"Yeah."

That guy's incredible, Megumi mused, staring at the trio. He pulled that off without any cursed energy. I wonder if he's like Zenin-senpai...

"Ah! Thank you Fushiguro-kun!"

"I'd say more like Todo-san."

"Oh! It's already half-past four!" Itadori exclaimed, glancing at the clock. He grabbed his bag. "Well, coach! I've got stuff to do! Later!"

The older man was shown to be balancing multiple shot puts, still stunned.

Itadori took off, passing Megumi who suddenly felt the spike of powerful cursed energy.

The presence of the cursed object! "Hey you!" Megumi shouted, reaching out to grab the boy. But he was to slow. "He's to fast!"

Nobara laughed throwing popcorn at the screen.

"I heard he can run fifty meters in three seconds." A passerby commented.

"Wait what?!"

"No way!"

"Maybe he is like Maki."

"Vroom, vroom!" Gojo mimicked. "You're fast Itadori-kun!"

"Haha! Thanks!"

The world record was 5.47.

Megumi turned to them in shock, a funny face plastered on.

"Is he a car?"

Itadori was shown buying flowers, as he went to go visit his grandpa. He nudged away from a baby who tried to touch them, going up to Sugisawa Hospital.

"I told you not to come," His grandpa chided. "Stop buying flowers to bring with you all the time."

"You always give me that. Besides, these are for the nurses, not you."

"So cold," Maki sighed. Inumaki nodded in agreement.

"Children these days," Gojo tutted. "No respect for their elders."

"We do give respect," Panda retorted. "Just not to people like you."

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!"

"All the more reason not to, you fool! Besides, what about your club?" The old man lay scolding him. "Go to your club! Your club!"

"Oh, chill out. It ends before 5 pm. I wouldn't be visiting you if I didn't have the free time."

"Good. Then listen to me since I have the free time too."

Itadori grabbed the empty vase. "Not interested."

"Just listen well. There's something I want to tell you before the end. It's about your parents."

"You should just listen," Kamo said.

"I said I wasn't interested. Grandpa, could you stop acting all cool before you die?"

"Every man wants to go out in style, you know! Get a clue, you useless grandson!"

Itadori placed the flowers he had brought into the cleaned vase. "Quit snapping over everything. You can just be yourself."

"Tsk. Lax upbringing." The man turned over to his side, slowly closing his eyes. "Yuji."

"Hmm?"

"You're a strong kid, so help others. Even if it's the closest to you, just save the people you can. It's okay if you lose your way, and don't worry if about whether they'll thank you or not. Just save as many as you can, even if it's just one. When you die, you should be surrounded by people. Don't end up like me."

He has some pretty good advice kid," Yaga muttered.

Yuji looked down sadly, "Yeah."

Itadori peered at his grandpa. There was a moment of silence before, "Grandpa?"

A nurse picked up the phone from the front desk. "Yes? What's the matter?"

"Hello?" She paused, giving another nurse her file. "Itadori-san?!"

The pink haired boy was sniffling, overwhelmed with sadness.

"My grandpa...is dead."

Everyone in the room sat in silence, a little respect towards the knowledge of the man's death.

He watched as the nurses wheeled away his grandpa, before going to the front desk to sign his paperwork.

"Okay. That's all the necessary paperwork."

"Thank you for everything."

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Well, this is my first time dealing with something like this, so it doesn't feel real yet. Grandpa would snap if I kept moping around forever, though, so I'll just have to laugh while I roast him up."

"Phrasing!"

Itadori looked up, noticing someone's presence.

"Itadori Yuuji, right?" Megumi asked, partially hiding in the shadows. "I'm Fushiguro from Jujutsu High. I'd like to have a word with you. Now."

"Um, I'm in mourning right now." They had moved over to the lobby with couches and chairs.

"Sorry, but there isn't any time. The cursed object you possess is very dangerous. Hand it over to me right now."

"Megumi," Gojo said dramatically, "Have a little bit of empathy."

He rolled his eyes, "We were running out of time."

"Cursed object?"

"This." Megumi held up a photo.

"Oh. Yeah, yeah. I found that. I don't mind it either way, but my senpai took a liking to it." He sat at the edge of the couch. "What do you mean 'dangerous'?"

The number of unexplained deaths and missing persons within Japan exceeds 10,000 a year on average. Most of those are a result of curses."

"...I did not realize there was that many."

"Curses?"

"I don't care if you believe in them or not. They're real. I'll go on. Large pools of negative energy form especially around school, hospitals, and so on. Hardship, regret, shame...The negative emotions of mankind become the source of curses." A series of places were revealed. "That's why most schools secretly keep a cursed object such as a protective talisman. The object you found is one of them."

"That's textbook definition Megumi-chan. Next time make it more interesting." Gojo held up mini flashcards with terribly drawn pictures vaguely explaining curses.

Itadori raised his hand. "If it's protecting us, shouldn't we be grateful for it?"

"Let me finish. Placing a cursed object of greater evil is a deadly poison that keeps other curses away. It's a bad practice that only claims to protect. Over the years, the seal weakens, and then it becomes bait to lure in and fatten curses." Itadori rubbed at his jaw. "The object you found is a dangerous one, classified as a special-grade. Hand it over before people start dying."

Itadori stood up. "Hey, I already told you I don't mind that." He threw over the small box. "So go tell it to my senpai."

Megumi opened it, but there was nothing. It's empty? I was just following the taint clinging to the box?!

"That's sad."

"It's starting to look like overtime to me."

He grabbed Itadori who was about to exit. "Where are the contents?"

Annoyed, Itadori answered. "I already told you, my senpai...have it."

"...You really should have said that from the beginning."

"Yeah," Itadori rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry Fushiguro."

"No worries."

"What?!"

"Oh yeah! They were talking about removing the talisman from it tonight at school."

Megumi quietly gasped, slowly moving backwards, a horrified look etched onto his face.

"Huh? Is that bad?"

"It's worse than bad. They're gonna die."

"See? This is why you don't mess with suspicious things. Have you not watched the horror films?" Mai chided. The others grunted in unison.

Back in the school, Sasaki and Iguchi huddled in their club room, only a candle helping them see.

The girl was picking at the talisman, squinting. "I can't get it off."

"Did we really need to sneak to do this? I'm going to turn on the lights."

"No! The atmosphere is important. Enjoying the thrill is the spirit of the occult club, isn't it? It's not like anythings going to happen anyways." Finally, Sasaki managed to get a corner of the paper off. "Oh! It came off!"

"Is that...?"

Iguchi sat back down, as the object was unwrapped.

"A human finger?"

"You've got to be kidding me." Mechamaru groaned.

Miwa squeaked, hiding behind her hands.

"Is it real?"

Immediately the flame flickered out.

"Welp, you've done it now."

Scared, Sasaki held the finger. "Is this..."

She was stopped when a loud explosion occurred, causing them to jump. She dropped the finger, and clutched onto the talisman.

"What is this?"

Above them, a large curse with multiple eyes appeared out of nowhere.

"Shit. That's a big one."

"Senpai..." Itadori still felt guilty over happened. If only he hadn't given them the object. Gojo patted his back.

Itadori ran to the school as Megumi followed.

"Do talisman's come off that easily?"

"Nope. It's impossible for people who lack cursed energy. Normally." Megumi explained, completely serious.

"Go right! It's a shortcut!"

"You guys better hurry!"

"Salmon!"

"This time the object itself is to strong. The seal is ancient. It might as well be plain paper."

"I still don't get this stuff about curses."

"Did this happen recently?" Yuta questioned, glancing at Itadori who avoided his eyes. How strange.

No one answered, to busy staring at the screen, hearts beating quickly.

"Where are they?!" Megumi asked, running full speed. They had reached the school.

"Fourth floor!" Itadori crashed into an invisible barrier. The school was covered in dark purple energy. "What is this pressure?"

"So there are multiple curses too. How lovely." Maki deadpanned.

Megumi pushed him out of the way. "You stay here." He jumped on top of the gate.

"I'm coming too!. It's dangerous, right? I've only known them for a few months, but they're my friends. I can't just stand by!"

"Stay here."

Inside, the club room's door was bent and broken.

'What time is it?' A shaky voice asked, no doubt a curse.

At the end of the hallway, Sasaki hid fearfully.

"That poor girl."

"If I were them I'd be having nightmares for weeks."

'The hour hand is at eleven.' A monstrous being with a lumpy human shape and mane walked the corridors.

Mai shivered in disgust, clutching her arms tightly. She hated fighting those creatures.

What is that monster?

"S-Sasaki?" Iguchi uttered, slowly approaching.

"Iguchi! Thank goodness! Where have you-" Her relief was short lived when taking in her friend's sight.

Attached to the boy's head was another curse, holding on painfully. "H-h-help me."

"Well shit."

"Run!"

"You guys have better survived this!"

'What time is it?' The same curse that had passed her reappeared, grabbing onto the girl as she screamed.

Bolting up the stairs, Megumi entered a hallway where a curse was waiting.

The curse has been unleashed! It's presence is still all over the place!

"What are you gonna do, Megumi?" Gojo was invested in the fight.

"Yeah! Here it comes!" Itadori cheered.

'Slurp. Slurp.' The curse was shaped like a worm, with eyeballs covering it's entire body.

Legs splayed, Megumi summoned his divine dogs. "Out of the way! Demon Dogs!"

Two dogs formed from bubbling shadows, both bloodthirsty and growling. One white while the other was black, both carrying a symbol on their heads.

The white one howled.

'Slurp.'

"You can eat it."

"Okay, that was pretty badass." Nobara admitted, seeing his technique. "Of course we still have the rest of the fight to determine whether or not you deserve my praise."

Outside at the gate, Itadori stared. Am I just going to wait here like he told me to? What am I so afraid of?

"They're going to die." Megumi's words replayed in his head.

That's right. I can sense death all the way out here. I'm afraid of dying. Was I afraid of it then? It didn't feel like I was, though. I didn't cry because I was scared. I was just a little sad. But my grandpa's death and the one I'm facing now...How are they any different?

"You are a strong kid, so help others."

You take things to heart easily. Nanami thought.

A curse exploded, Megumi and his dogs taking down a second curse.

"The curses are growing in numbers. They're close."

"Nice moves."

"Megumi you got better at fighting."

They turned a corner to find a giant curse swallowing Iguchi, and fondling Sasaki for the finger.

"Found them."

He was short-tempered and stubborn. No one but me ever paid him a visit. Itadori's hands grabbed onto the gate. 'Don't end up like me', Huh? That's true.

"Ohhh? What are you planning?"

"Aww, so sweet!"

"Damn it! Is it trying to swallow her along with the cursed object?!" Megumi's eyes widened. "I'm not going to make it!"

The curses let out a chilling giggle, eyes curling in victory. Before it could eat the students, it noticed Itadori readying for a kick.

"Oh wow!"

"That was really fast."

"Are we not going to mention he climbed four floors without using the stairs?!"

Itadori kicked the window, practically flying, and hooked a hand onto the window pane and flipping.

"Itadori!" Megumi shouted, lurching forwards.

I think you had a proper death, grandpa. But this one...Itadori punched the curse, and grabbed Sasaki and Iguchi. He jumped off the curse. This death is wrong!

"What the fuck!" Nobara shook Itadori. "You and your inhuman strength!"

"I was not expecting that." Kamo said, internally impressed.

"Good job Itadori!" Gojo praised. The boy perked up happily.

"HAHA! I knew you were strong!" Todo shouted, clapping.

Iguchi coughed up blood, while Sasaki was still unconscious.

"So this is a curse? Not what I was expecting."

"What were you expecting?"

"You know the bloody ghosts from the movies? I thought it'd be something like that."

A bright flash crossed the curse, making it explode. The dogs ran up to eat it, happy for the meal.

"For something supposed to be deadly, they're so cute!" Momo gushed.

"I want to ask what you're doing here," Megumi said, rolling his arm. "But good job."

"I was gonna say..."

"Why so haughty?" Looking to the side Itadori asked. "By the way, what's that munching on the curse?"

"My shikigami. You can see them then? Normally a curse can't be seen. Not unless you're on the verge of death or in a special place like this."

"Yeah, that makes sense. I've never seen a ghost or anything before tonight."

Megumi observed him. "You're not scared, are you?"

"He's right."

"Normal people wouldn't even help under these circumstances." Ieiri noted.

"Well, I was scared for a bit." Itadori looked at Sasaki. "But did you know? People really can die."

"Huh?"

"So I at least want the people I know to have proper deaths. Not that I really get it myself." He stood up, catching the falling finger. "Whoa. This it?"

"Yeah. That's the special grade cursed object. Ryomen Sukuna's finger. It's a miracle it didn't get swallowed."

"Why would anybody eat this? Does it taste good?"

"..."

"..."

"What an idiot."

"Don't be stupid. You'd do it to gain stronger cursed energy. It's dangerous so hand it over already."

"Sure, sure."

The curse from the rugby field came from the ceiling just as Itadori lifted the finger.

"Above you!"

"Watch out!"

Gasping, Megumi looked up as his dogs came to aid. He pushed Itadori away, screaming, "Run!"

The curse fell on top of Megumi, grabbing his entire body.

"Fushiguro!"

Megumi clasped his hand together forming a bird shape. "Nue!"

He was thrown to the wall, spitting out blood, demon dogs disappearing in a goopy mess.

Lights flashed multiple times, and Megumi was thrown out of the building, curse chasing after him.

Megumi brought his shaky hands together, as the curse descended on him. "Damn it. I can't think straight!"

"We'll have to work your on falling." Maki said. She nodded to the other first years. "You too."

A body smashed down onto the curse.

"Itadori! Why can't you understand to take those two and run?!"

"You're in big trouble yourself!" Itadori clung onto the arm, pulling it over the edge of the bridge and scrambling to get back up.

"Nice reflexes."

"Salmon."

"Only curses can exorcise other curses! You can't beat it!"

"What he said."

"You're really crazy, Itadori." Gojo smirked. He had the potential to be a great sorcerer one day.

At Itadori's confused grumble, Nanami said, "You have to have a level of craziness to deal with curses."

"Is that the time to be saying that? You're going to die at this rate!" Itadori dodged the punches from the curse. "If I went home now, I'd be having nightmares!"

He kicked a giant eyeball, landing on the rail of the bridge with Sukuna's finger. "Besides, I have my own..."

"Help others."

"...troublesome curse already!"

Itadori evaded another punch but was thrown into the air by the other arm. He had let go of the finger, kicking off the curse's face to catch it by his teeth before the monster could get to it.

"You idiot!" Nobara screamed, not realizing she was gripping onto the boy's arm. "Just toss it to Megumi! You'll get hurt at this rate!"

"Idiot! Hand it over to me or you'll get eaten too!"

The curse tried shoving Itadori into it's mouth, struggling as he pushed against it's teeth.

"Why would anyone eat it? Does it taste good?"

"Don't be stupid. You'd do it to gain stronger cursed energy."

"You're not doing what I think you're right?" Nanami stressed.

"Wait..."

"Itadori, are you...?" Yuta was sure his suspicions were true. His cursed energy spiked when he was near Itadori, feeling something darker inside of him.

"There is a way to save everyone!" Itadori threw the finger back into the air. "I just need some cursed energy, right Fushiguro?"

"So this means..."

"I knew it."

"I guess the secret'll be out." Megumi muttered. He wasn't sure how the rest of them would react, but he knew it would be bad. The question was how much.

"Don't! Don't do it!" Megumi yelled, unable to stop him. Itadori ate the finger in one bite.

Ryomen Sukuna's finger! That's a special grade object! It's a deadly poison! He'll die for sure. But there's a one in a million...a one in a million chance...

Itadori's limp body sprung to life, ripping his arms away from the curse. It's arms combusted, but still ran after the boy.

Twin black rings formed on Itadori's wrist. Once the curse got near, the hand raised, causing the the curse to explode.

"HOLY SHIT!"

"You're Sukuna's vessel, aren't you." Yuta declared.

Most of the Kyoto students had shifted to the side, away from Itadori.

Megumi's eyes widened.

Smoke rose from the raised arm, as the figure was exposed under the moonlight. Tattoos lined the face, as a set of new eyes grew.

"Heh!" Something other than Itadori's voice started laughing manically, with a demented smile. "Ah, I knew it! The light feels best in the flesh!" He ripped the jacket to pieces as Megumi watched helplessly.

This is the worst! A one in a million chance worst cast outcome! The special grade cursed object has incarnated!

"Gojo," Utahime hissed, standing up. She pointed to Itadori who'd shrunk back from the heated and piercing glares. "Explain. Now."

"Itadori is registered as Ryomen Sukuna's vessel." He replied, just as serious. "The higher ups have extended his execution, which means until he collects all twenty fingers, he won't die."

"Is the boy safe to be around?" Nanami was cautious.

"Of course. I wouldn't let him be around the students if he couldn't control the curse."

A little satisfied, Utahime sat down, prompting her students to do the same. The atmosphere was tense and wary.

"A cursed being's flesh is to boring. Where are the people? The women?!" He stood on the rail, arms splayed wide. "What a wonderful era to be in. Women and children crawling around like maggots. Marvelous! It'll be a massacre."

"What an ugly face." Maki joked, trying to lighten the mood. It helped to a degree, earning a few chuckles.

A hand reached up to grab his chin, as he walked back from the ledge. "What do you think you're doing with my body? Give it back."

"See? He can control it."

"I suppose so." Utahime still wasn't convinced. Who knew when Sukuna could randomly control Itadori? And how many fingers could the boy handle?

"How are you able to move?

"Well, I mean it's my body."

He's suppressing me? The lines on Itadori's body didn't leave, but he did have control over his own body again.

"Don't move!" Megumi said, shadows swirled around him. "You're no long human. Under jujutsu regulations, Itadori Yuji, I will exorcise you as a curse!"

The screen cut black as the episode ended.

"...That was intense." Nobara commented. She stretching, getting up from her seat.

"He's completely in control," Megumi started, gaining their attention. "Besides, we have Gojo. The higher ups already approved of him, so I don't see the worry."

At this, the teens relaxed a bit more, but the other adults were still wary. They had much to talk about.
