I do not own Sword art Online or Bofuri: I don't want to get hurt so I'll max out my defense and this is just for fun.
Chapter 3: the third floor and the elves
Kirito took a breath and stretched his arms. He looked to maple also watching Asuna finish off the field mid boss. Asuna walked over. " so the way to the third floor is open " She asked. Maple crossed her arms and smiled and gave a thumps up. Kirito scratched his face " nice work , Asuna defeating ,the bullbous bow but its strange that it left guarding the final village on this floor " He said. Sally looked to maple and the rest of the group. " i have a feeling that the creator of Sao was trying to take down maple tree " She said.
Kirito placed his right hand on his chin. " that may be the case but lets head to the third floor " He said. Maple turned and faced the dungeon " lets hurry along everyone " She said. Kirito and everyone walked throu the dungeon and walked up the steps. Kirito and everyone saw two elves fighting over some key.
Kirito , Asuna , Sally , Yui , Mei , Kanade , Kuromu , Iz , and Kasumi saw Maple take both elves strikes. Maple smiled at the two " why are you too , fighting " she asked. Both elves scratched there faces shocked how the human girl took no damage. the dark elf sighed " my name is Kizmel " She said looking at the jade key. the forest elf crossed his arms and looked at the key. Maple picked it up " I see , your both fighting for this key " She said. the forest elf and Kizmel nodded. Maple tossed the key to Kirito. " now then get your two tribes and were going to make peace between your groups " Maple said.
Sally chuckled at Kirito face of shock. " let me guess , another maple moment broke your brain " she said joking. Kirito chuckled " a little , but we can use this to our advantage and prevent either side of npc's from dying " He said. Sally looked at Kirito eyes. " in the beta , you sided with the dark elves " She guessed. Kirito nodded as he and the rest of maple tree saw the groups of dark elves and forest elves arrive.
Kirito noticed both groups look at the jade key in his hands. Kirito whispered " we may have to fight both groups " to everyone. Sally nodded nodding for Yui and Mei to be ready. Mei and Yui ready there swords. Maple looked at both groups " welcome , now the two in charge of the forest elves and dark elves are you going to make peace " She asked. Kirito watched as both groups forces attacked Maple head on. Sally laughed " well you called it , Kirito " She said.
Kirito nodded and placed his right hand on his head while his left held the jade key. He noticed Maple laughing taking the attacks from both groups.He noticed Asuna was cooking as it became night. He took a seat at the camp eating with everyone but Maple. He turned to the battle and noticed the dark elves and forest elves at Maple's knees. Sally placed her arm around Kirito. " Well I think both groups would talk now about peace between them " She said. Kirito nodded eating the soup " nice job , Asuna gathering vegetables while both groups of elves were battling Maple " He said.
Sally smiled " the broth is really good too " She said. Asuna smiled " thanks , i made enough for everyone " She said. Maple looked to Asuna. Asuna looked to kirito , Iz , Sally. " lets hand out the soup " She said. Kirito nodded handing the soup to the dark elves with sally. Iz and Asuna handed the soup to the forest elves. Maple was handed some soup by Sally and started eating. " Everyone dig in " She said. Kirito watched as both groups of elves ate and started talking.
Kizmel walked over to Kirito. " I never expected something like this to happen " she said. Kirito nodded eating some more soup. Kizmel looked at the two sides of elves talking and at Maple. " That girl ,who took all our attacks is pretty special " She said. Kirito finished his soup " yeah , so what do you think , will happen now Kizmel " He asked.
She shrugged her shoulders " don't know " She said as Maple cheered. Maple walked over "well everyone I have information on the bosses from the third to the ninth floor and became queen of the forest and dark elves. Maple watched as her party laughed but patted her on the shoulders. Kirito walked over to Sally " Only maple " He said. Sally smirked " yep one of the few player made final bosses " She said.
Kirito sighed " i have a feeling at some point the creator of Sao is going to turn a boss invincible to try and kill us all " He said. Maple placed her hands on her hips " maybe , or try and nerf are strength " She said staring at Kirito. Kirito chuckled noticing the smirk of confidence " fine , fine I get it that won't stop maple tree , queen of the elves " He said. Maple pointed to the area of the dungeon for the field boss. " now then ,time to take on the boss " She said walking forward. Kirito , Sally , and Asuna looked as both groups of elves coming with them.
" Maple has an army " Kirito said sighing . Sally ruffled Kirito's hair " true but if we hear a scream in means the culprit is shocked as well " She said. Asuna noticed Kizmel walking with them. Kizmel shrugged her shoulders " Well looking forward to fighting side by side with you all " she said. Kirito nodded blushing staring at Kizmel. Asuna punched his arm gathering some vegetables while they marched to the dungeon.
Meanwhile Heathcliff entered the third floor and noticed no elves to start the elf war campaign. He noticed footprints of a large group heading to the dungeon. He noticed carved in a tree by a dark elf and forest elf. " Maple queen of the elves " He read and screamed as birds pooped on him. He headed to the teleported and activated it. He thought " I'll head to an inn and get cleaned off , then think of something to stop Maple , now queen of the forest and dark elves.
Meanwhile Kirito and everyone was setting up camp at the dungeon. Kirito looked to Iz and Yui. " Did you hear a scream , just now " He asked. Yui and Iz nodded no , as they finished gathering materials to improve everyone's armour and weapons. Kirito placed the supplies near Iz work station. " Looking forward to what you come up with Iz " He said. Iz nodded " don't worry , I always make great equipment , Kirito and improvements " She said. Kirito nodded walking over to Asuna , Kizmel and Mei. " So keeping watch " He asked. Asuna nodded and smiled at Kirito " So , did this ever happen in the beta " She asked. Kirito looked up at the sky " nope , it was one side or the other so we are on an original quest path and the next boss is kinda tough " he said noticing kanade was gone.
He ran into the dungeon and noticed the enemies were defeated by hidden traps. He kept going forward and noticed the enemies bodies fading. He noticed maple was behind him along with kizmel. He took a breath opening the bosses door and noticed Kanade was finding traps in the environment. He watched as the bosses hp was almost depleted. " A final attack is coming " He said as Kizmel took down the boss.
Maple clapped " nice work everyone , we rest and then its time for the fourth floor " She said. Kirito nodded and stretched his arms. " Kanade , I had no idea traps were here to defeat the enemies " He said. Kanade took a breath " i noticed some markings at the entrance and pressed the markings and got a scroll showing the traps for all the dungeons , the elves told us about " He said. Kirito yawned " i am looking forward to some sleep " He said. Maple yawned as well and nodded to Kirito as they reached camp.
