One of Supergirl's eyes widened the minute Amos walked into a kitchen with his arms behind his back.
''You already finished shopping in Metropolis?'' she wished to know. Supergirl viewed his nod. One smile. ''Did you battle any villains there?''
She watched while he shook his head.
Supergirl began to smile when Amos revealed a stuffed cat and she cuddled it. ''Thanks.''
''I remember you mentioning liking cats.''
Supergirl ran upstairs and into her bedroom where she placed the cat on a bed. She returned to Amos.
''Let's look for wild animals,'' she said.
Amos shrugged and went outside with Supergirl. His eyes were wide after one snarling lynx appeared. A territorial animal?
Supergirl frowned.
''I never said I liked every cat,'' Supergirl muttered before the lynx turned and ran. They continued their search.
