Typical Morning for the Piltover's Finest
Vi really loved to laze around in bed in the mornings. It was something she never got to do when she was growing up. Neither the Lances or Stillwater provided much time for such luxuries, she always had to be alert. When she and Caitlyn moved in together, not long after Vi joined the Enforcers and Caitlyn became the new Sheriff, Vi thought that she's get all the lazy morning and cuddles she could want.
That wasn't exactly how it went.
Their line of work meant that they had to get up bright and early on most days. Especially Caitlyn, but then again it turned out that the sharpshooter was never one to stay in bed for long. Which made no sense in Vi's mind. How could you not want to stay in a warm and soft bed as long as possible? Especially when you have someone to cuddle with.
Speaking of cuddles, her cuddle partner was missing.
When Vi reached for the other side of the bed to pull Caitlyn closer all she was met with was air. She moved her hand around, eyes still closed and eyebrows frowned, "Cait?" She mumbled, slowly fluttering her eyes open.
Looking around, her girlfriend was nowhere to be found. Vi groaned, rubbing the sleep off her eyes. Of course she'd already be up, no cuddles for Vi then it seemed. And then... then the sound of running water reached the brawlers ears. She grinned. Now that she knew where Caitlyn was, well that seemed like a good reason to get out of bed.
Vi threw the covers off and practically skipped to the bathroom, not even bothering to put on her clothes.
The room was humid and steamy, and she could see Caitlyn with her back turned. She smiled at the sight.
"Are you just going to stand there?" Caitlyn spoke without turning around.
"I'm enjoying the view." Vi heard Caitlyn stifle a laugh and she couldn't help but grin.
"That's nice but the water's gonna get cold if enjoy it for much longer." Vi took that as her invitation to join her girlfriend, not that she needed one, she knew that Caitlyn always welcomed and enjoyed her company.
She walked behind her, arms wrapping wound Caitlyn's stomach, pulling her close. Caitlyn sighed as she leaned into the embrace. The water felt nice, really nice on their sore muscles, the two didn't get to shower last night, both too tired from work. They just got into bed and whispered sweet nothings to each other until they fell asleep.
Yes the two slept naked. Vi thought it'd take her more to convince Caitlyn to do so but the other woman was very enthusiastic about it, prompting much teasing from Vi. And one very, very embarrassing morning when Jayce walked in. Neither he nor Caitlyn could look at each other for a week after that.
Vi leaned in a bit closer, resting her head in Caitlyn's shoulder, while one of Caitlyn's hands reached back to caress cheek. Vi hummed into the touch, she loved the way Caitlyn touched her.
Gently and slowly she began kissing Caitlyn's shoulder, "Vi..." Caitlyn sighed, "We don't have time." She did her best to protest but the kisses felt so nice on her bare skin.
"I'm not doing anything." Vi mumbled between the kisses. Her hands wandered to Caitlyn's shoulders, thumbs rubbing soothing circles, "Just wanna relax with my lovely girlfriend." Vi's kisses moved to Caitlyn's neck, making the sharpshooter inhale sharply.
"This is the opposite of relaxing and you know it." Despite her attempts to protest Caitlyn moved her head to the side, offering more of her neck for Vi to kiss.
"I miss you Cupcake." Vi uttered softly, her breath tickling Caitlyn's neck, "Just tell everyone you have other, more important things to do than sit behind a desk."
"Like what?" Caitlyn could feel Vi grin as soon as she asked.
"Like me."
"Vi." Caitlyn whined. She tried to push Vi away but all she did was press herself further into her, "I can't just..." Caitlyn hummed, closing her eyes in thought, and enjoying the kisses in the process, "We'll take the weekend off, how about that?"
"Two whole days, just the two of us... you drive a hard bargain Cupcake. But fine, I accept." When Vi stopped kissing her Caitlyn didn't know if she should be relieved or not. She was certainly more than a little worked up now. But she was the one who said that they had to go to work, so no point in complaining about it now.
They finished their shower, stealing glances, an occasional kiss here and there, with some gentle or teasing touches, mostly from Vi.
When it was over the two took their time getting dressed, eyes roaming each other's bodies. By the time they got to work Caitlyn was seriously considering asking Jayce to sound proof her office.
